Khilo E.S. INTERMEDIALITY AND TRANSLATION: YESENIN’S GERMAN AUDIO EDITIONS OF 2000TH.. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 4 (145). P. 119-125

The article first describes the precedents of intermediate representation of the foreign-language author reception of translation on the example of the analysis of two German audio editions of S. Yesenin’s poetry of 2002 and 2003, in which selected poems are presented in the author’s reading, while their German equivalents are performed by translators and poets such as P. Celan (1920–1970) and A. Nitzberg (born in 1969). The first collection acquaints the listener with the image of S. Yesenin in direct adjunction to the individual style of P. Celan. In the second edition Yesenin acts as one of the representatives of Russian poetry, expressing the general literary tradition of the XX century. The authentic sound reproduction and the perception of originals and translations in audio collections allow us to speak about their high importance in a universal context of the reception of Yesenin’s heritage.

The problem if the power at Mьller is interfaced to a problem of fault and historical memory. Future loss for heroes of the tragedy – a consequence of their crimes in front of Colchis, requital for shed blood. Understanding of the power by Razumovskaya's heroes are realized through opposition of social functions of the hero and the tsar in which the first is unconditionally disinterested, resolute, selfsacrificing while the second can be the strategist acting in interests of the city, or the liar. Medea's love, conducting it to crimes, also is treated differently. In questions of a ratio corporal and spiritual in love authors act as successors of various cultural traditions: German modernism and Russian of “ascetic materialism”. Also in article features of a genre of texts of Mьller and Razumovskaya under whose feather the tragedy receives modern sounding are considered.

Khrabrova A.V. THE PROBLEM OF CORRELATION OF CREATIVE SYSTEMS BY LERMONTOV AND EARLY DOSTOEVSKY: THE CATEGORY OF DOUBT AS A REPRESENTATIVE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 3 (168). P. 121-124

The present article is devoted to the problem of the category of doubt as representative of interference and convergence of late Lermontov’s and early Dostoevsky’s artistic worlds. The category of doubt is central on epoch’s boundary as it reveals the transitivity of the world in 1830–1840s. and a state of total criticism. Firstly, this category is considered a central epoch’s philosophical problem and secondly, a problem of narrative methods. As a philosophical problem, category of doubt gave birth to a new type of hero and new methods of psychologisation, which caused different changes and transitions from doubt through uncertainty to the condition of hopelessness and hero’s self-recognition of powerlessness towards actions and choices. As a result, the doubting intellectual is replaced by the sick consciousness of a “small man” (“malen’kiy chelovek”), who loses his trust being in doubts and lives under the condition of fear and anxiety. The narrative aspect of the category of doubt determines the combinatorics of plots’ lines, the overlay of psychological conditions, the retardation of narration. All this produces the parts’ montage in some texts which comes along with rhetorical questions which intensify the doubt.

Keywords: Lermontov, early Dostoevsky, problem of hero, category of doubt

Velilaeva L.R. THE MOTHERLAND IMAGE OF THE XIXTH SCOTTISH EMIGRATIONAL POETRY: PERSONAGE CONTEXT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 160-163

The paper is devoted to the personage classification analysis in literary criticism, its adaptation to the personage system of Scottish emigrational poetry and investigation of image characteristics of «old» and «new» Motherland. Prof. M.A. Novikova’s classification of artistic space is taken into account. It includes the opposition of own place and other place, space of center and periphery, space of border and contact. There are different classifications based on diverse approaches: 1) unipatrides, expatriants, apatrides; 2) religious persons (St. Andrew), historical persons (Robert I the Bruce, 1274-1329), Sir William Wallace, c. 1270-1305), Robert Burns, 1759-1796)), dwellers of Scotland’s regions (Highlanders) / the USA regions, family and home personages (husband, wife, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, friends), natural actuals of Scotland/the USA (Grampian Hills, Wood of Clova, Noran Water). The contrastive analysis of the personage system of Scotland’s poets (who didn’t emigrate) with the personage system of the USA’s Scottish emigrational poets is made. In the poetry of Scotland’s poets such additional personages are found: Fergus I (ab. 434 – 501), Kenneth MacAlpin (810-858), Duncan I (1001-1040), Malcolm IV (1141-1165), John Knox (1513-1572), Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1587), James Melville (1556-1614). Contrastive analysis of patriotic images and motives proves that emigrational literature can be treated as diasporic literature in case emigrational literature appeals to the historical and cultural traditions of the Motherland country (Scotland).

In the article all regions were divided into nine types, they were subsequently divided into three groups. As a result of this work, we found that the most sensitive to the crisis was a group of regions with the average development, as well as areas of the economy which is the basis of engineering, also clearly observed low degree of competitiveness of the manufacturing sector. Among the regions, where the main focus is the mining industry, as part of the study we revealed a high degree of dependence on conditions in the world oil market. Under these conditions, the role of government fiscal policy, especially in the field of intergovernmental relations, is becoming one of the defining factors of socio-economic development of regions.

Sarkisova A.Y. INTERFERENCE DIFFICULTIES OF MASTERING OF RUSSIAN PHONETICS BY NATIVE SPEAKERS OF THE MONGOLIAN LANGUAGE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 7 (172). P. 39-44

The article analyses the most typical pronunciation errors of the Mongols in the mastery of the Russian language. Characteristic phonetic differences are determined by different phonetic systems of two languages (lokalisasi and consonant), the difference of articulatory bases, the laws of the positional distribution of phonemes and phonetic oppositions, and peculiar to each language characteristics in suprasegmental level. The most serious errors that lead to misunderstanding are related to the violation of the structure of the Russian word. It is expressed in the reduction of vowels in all syllables except the first, the frequency of prosthetic and epistatically vowels appearance. Reduction of vowels at the end of the Russian word leads to the lack of expression of grammatical values. Interference difficulties in mastering the Russian accent are determined by the constant (fixed) accent in the Mongolian language and articulatory differences in the accentuation of the main syllable in two languages. The law of vowel harmony in Mongolian language is the cause of most mistakes in the Russian words concerning positional distribution of phonemes. Carried out in a comparative aspect the systematization of the main phonetic difficulties can be used in the methodological development and practical training of the Mongols Russian as a foreign language.

Alekseeva A.V. VERBS OF SOUND SEMANTICS IN THE POETIC WORKS BY ROBERT ROZHDESTVENSKY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 5 (194). P. 58-63

At the present stage of linguistic research the keen interest of linguists in studying of semantics and functioning of separate language units in the literary text, in particular, of units of lexical-semantic group of verbs of sounding is noted. In this article the lexical-semantic group of verbs of sounding on the material of poetic texts of Robert Rozhdestvensky is considered. On the basis of the vast body of procedural units, containing in this sense “sound”, an attempt is made to reveal the features of the use and functioning of sound verbs in R. Rozhdestvensky’s poetry, since the verbs of this group are the specific markers of the original manner of writing of Robert Rozhdestvensky, his poetic handwriting. Special attention is paid to the description of a semantic class of verbs of sounding, namely group of the verbs designating the sounds of inanimate nature made by inanimate objects and the person defining the place and a role of verbs of this lexico-semantic group in the poetic texts of Robert Rozhdestvensky. The material for the observations were the poetry of Robert Rozhdestvensky, poems of the different years of the poet, collected in a three parts collection of works, including the period of the poet’s creative activity from 1951 till 1985. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that the poetic language of Robert Rozhdestvensky has not yet been the subject of a special study. And the study of the lexical case of verbs of sound semantics will allow to establish the creative originality of Robert Rozhdestvensky, a feature of the manifestation of the language identity of the poet.

Ulyanova U.A. STRUCTURAL FEATURES OF ELECTRONIC MILITARY INFORMATION TEXTS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 88-95

Introduction. The structural features of electronic military information texts have been analyzed. The necessity to describe the electronic texts is caused by the transition of communication to the electronic mode, which has had a significant impact on the composition of military information texts. The aim is to describe the compositional features of electronic military information texts. Material and methods. The research methods include compositional analysis, descriptive-analytical and comparative method. The material of the research is military information texts extracted by the random sampling method from the websites military.com (30 texts) and nationalinterest.com (35 texts). Results and discussion. Distinctive features of the electronic military information texts include multimedia, hypertext, intersemioticity and interactivity. The classification of electronic military-information texts on the basis of the means of communication has been presented. Online and offline electronic texts are distinguished in accordance with this parameter. Several types of hypertext links are used in military information texts: intratextual links containing reference to the materials published on other sites; non-textual auto hypertext links with contact information of the author of the article; non-textual hypertext links which lead to the article on similar subjects. The main types of hypertext links are also defined in terms of their language representation. The dual nature of interactivity as one of the elements of the composition of the electronic military information text was established. On the one hand, it provides the direct interaction between the addresser and the addressee. On the other hand, interactivity is realized through intersemiotic elements (cross-posting), which allow spreading and sharing information on different Internet sites (social networks, forums, e-mail). Hypertext, intersemioticity, interactivity are considered as obligatory characteristics of the electronic military information texts. Multimedia is regarded as an optional characteristic of the electronic military information text, because video fragments as one of the communication blocks of the text are not present in all texts, although a creolized component in the form of a photo is an obligatory part of text composition. A comparative analysis of the communication blocks in electronic texts has been carried out. Electronic military information texts with strict and free composition have been singled out. Conclusion. It has been proved that the obligatory compositional features of the electronic military information text are intertextuality, interactivity and intersemioticity. The results of the peculiarities of compositional analysis show the promising nature of the investigation of pragmastylistic features of electronic military information texts.

Stepovaya V.I. ENGLISH-LANGUAGE RECEPTION OF N. V. GOGOL’S COMEDY “THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR” IN THE TRANSLATION INTERPRETATION BY K. GARNETT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 192-205

Introduction. The choice of approach to the analysis of literary translation in this article is explained by the fact that interpretation in translation involves co-creation of the translator and the author of the original work, so that a new understanding of it can arise. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to identify the differences between the author’s interpretation of the comedy “The Government Inspector” and its translation interpretation by K. Garnett. It will allow us to see the semantic transformations of the work as it penetrates into the English-speaking culture. Material and methods. The material of the research is the comedy “The Government Inspector” by N. V. Gogol and its translation into English, made by the British translator K. Garnett in 1926. The methodology of this research is based on a comparative method, as well as a method for studying translation through the concept of “translation interpretation”. Results and discussion. The translator does not put the name “Silent scene” in a separate title and writes it in small italics merged with the previous text. This reduces its significance for English readers. In addition, K. Garnett in the translation of the play removes the division into scenes, which supports the classical symmetry and correctness of architectonics, while demonstrating the subordination of being to the divine plan. This suggests that in the understanding of the translator there were no initially harmonious laws of human existence. As for anthroponomy, all the names and surnames of the characters are conveyed by K. Garnett using transliteration. This means that for the English-speaking reader, their “speaking” meaning is lost. At the same time, this method of translation may also have a deeper meaning. In the original work, the characters are united by their involvement in vice, the symbolic embodiment of which they are. They are also connected by a common expectation of punishment for their actions and, undoubtedly, by belonging to the same people, since this issue was important for Gogol. It embodies the influence of the romanticism traditions on him. In comedy, the unity of the people demonstrates, in particular, the common national character of the dramatic personae. The presence and nature of the vice in each individual case is expressed, among other things, by the name of the character. But since this semantics is lost due to transliteration in translation, the connecting thread becomes less obvious to English-speaking reader. The loss of the original semantics of belonging of heroes to a common nation is facilitated by the translation of phraseological phrases, proverbs and sayings found in the original text. In the translation by K. Garnett, the idiomatic speech of the characters, indicating their folk character, was largely reduced. A similar feature is the frequent replacement of colloquial expressions of heroes with lexemes of the literary language. Therefore, the characters’ speech becomes more neutral and loses its expressiveness. Due to the prevailing number of such transformations, the characters of the dramatic personae in the translation of the comedy can hardly be called folk. Regarding the translation of Russian realities, it should be noted that K. Garnett replaced many of them with English ones. And although we cannot say that this applies to all realities, but they are the absolute majority, which cannot but affect readers reception. Among other things, K. Garnett adds a Gendarme to the list of actors, which does not correspond to Gogol’s conception. The Gendarme in the comedy acts as a “herald of the Last judgment” and his figure shows “transpersonal power”, which is why he is not on the stage of the theater. However, the appearance of the Gendarme in the list of actors in the translation text completely deprives him of the opportunity to embody the hand of God. Together with the “Silent scene” leveling this deprives comedy its significance and true meaning, which Gogol sought to express. Conclusion. The emergence of such a version of the comedy translation can be attributed to the fact that K. Garnett worked at the beginning of the modernist era, “the root characteristic of the literature of which is, in particular, the belief in the isolation, alienation and ultimate absurdity of each individual existence and the entire macrocosm of reality”. This largely contributes to the formalistic approach to poetics, which in this case is chosen by the translator. This is expressed in the fact that K. Garnett reproduces the text without taking into account the influence of the author’s biography and views. It cannot also be said that the cultural and historical context of the original and Gogol’s reception of literary traditions were sufficiently taken into account. Transformations in translation have led to the fact that characters are perceived as part of a faceless crowd, each member of which is not connected by anything, and not as people drawing inspiration from their unity. The characters are still together waiting for the Government Inspector, but the meaning of his appearance loses its sacred meaning of God’s punishment. In this interpretation, the existence of comedy characters appears absurd and even tragic to some extent, since there is no positive or negative dynamics. Thus, although the original author’s meaning was not recreated by K. Garnett in the translation of “The Government Inspector” into English, it can be stated that a new one that conveys a sense of hopelessness at the turn of the XIX−XX centuries has emerged.

The article considers repetition in language as one of the most prominent means of expression in formation of individual style of fictional work’s author. On the example of Ossetian writers’ works it is convincingly proved that repetition is not only one of the means of organizing retrospection and prospection in the text, but also a way of expressing subjective modality. Aesthetic and expressive effect of repetition increases considerably during the use of different kinds of duplication: phonetic-phonological, lexical, morphemic and morphological, semantic and syntactic. The type of repetitions and their functional yield are directly dependent on the genre varieties of fiction text. In the author’s narrative reasoning text they mainly perform modal-expressive function, and in the descriptive texts they express author’s subjective attitude to the displayed.

Modern Russian education is characterized by the adoption of tutors into general education organizations. It is established that these specialists rarely turn to the practice of supporting a professional identity of schoolchildren, are not ready to carry out this process. The concept of the tutor’s readiness to support the professional identity of schoolchildren is defined. This is a complex personal and professional description of a tutor which includes the awareness of importance of the supporting professional identity of schoolchildren, an interested mood in the creative use of the theory of tutoring in the practice of career guidance work with students, the presence of reflexive abilities that allow timely making adequate decisions in the process of constructing and implementing an individual way of choosing the future profession by tutors. A criterial evaluation system has been developed. It offers a level characterization of the components of the readiness of tutors (motivational, activity, analytical) to support the professional identity of schoolchildren. Based on the analysis of the literature, the expediency of using the powerful resources of intracorporate training for the development of this quality is justified. The system of intracorporate training is simulated, the program of which three meaningful lines are proposed: the legal framework for tutoring; psychological foundations of professional identity of schoolchildren as an object of tutoring; effective technologies of tutoring support of professional identity of schoolchildren. The description of the activity methods of work to improve the professionalism of tutors within the framework of intracorporate training is given. The findings of the authoritative study are presented, demonstrating the need for the development of readiness of tutors to support the professional identity of schoolchildren.
