| 5211 | Toponymic nickname – is a new name based on the associations with reality phenomena. Wide use of secondary nominations is a characteristic feature of the toponymic system of the USA. Each state, apart from its official name, has a number of nicknames, which can be official and unofficial. This article is devoted to the linguocultural analysis of toponymic nicknames of the US States, motivational characteristics of which are relief and water resource peculiarities. This group of American nicknames is clearly restricted in the English language and presents an interesting material for the linguistic analysis. This article regards different classifications of the analyzed units as well as their motivational and quantitative analyses. Secondary nominations of the US States reflect the peculiarities of the flat, hilly and mountainous relief. The last one prevails over the flat and hilly relief. Water resources (among which the most productive motivation is rivers) occur more often than the objects of the area relief. One more particular feature of the units under the investigation is the fact that they are presented by the nominations with absolute or full motivating, since the facts, events and geographical names, put in the basis of the secondary nominations, are always evident. It is very popular among young people. They are new kinds of sport. The study subject is fitness and art-fencing – the new types of sports disciplines, attracting students with its accessibility, entertainment, connection of sport and art. The article presents the historical overview of the emergence and the development of art-fencing and fitness in global and Russian practice. There are common aspects of these new kinds of sport. Also in the article we can see its cooperation. The general characteristic features of these new types of sports activities, the degree of their interaction and enrichment are selected. In the article authors advice to use five groups of training items for common kinds of sport and for fitness and art-fencing itself which direct to forceful, coordination and willed features in common sportsmanship. Five conditional groups of training means, that are common to both fitness and art-fencing and that are aimed at the development of strength, coordination, strong-willed and restorativerelaxing qualities in the general physical preparation of athletes, are identified and recommended. This period is the epoch of global changes in the life of Russian society. The aim of the research is to identify how the historical events that took place in the first third of the 20th century are reflected in the text. The records that were analysed are divided into four time periods. Each period is connected with historical events that are very important for Russia. The article is devoted to the description of three aspects that are very important for analysis of documents. The first part of the article describes the structural characteristics of the records dated by 1917–1933 and peculiarities of the records that are typical for each period. The main part of the work is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic means that form the record and also how linguistic means change over time. And the last part is devoted to speech norm. The text of the record presents a mixture of structures generated by the new ideological system and colloquialisms. The characteristics of lexico-semantic, functional-stylistic and structural features of the records of the presented period made it possible to identify the main units reflecting changing historical conditions at the level of the text. | 5215 | The article raises a problem concerning young people’s low employment caused by insufficient career guidance and professional self-determination for individual career building, it concerns in particular young people getting professional education. In connection with it, what seems necessary is implementing mechanisms of assisting professional selfdetermination, career building and employment that are currently important for modern young people. The aim of the article is designing, applying and analyzing the results of an additional general developmental program in career building and preparation for going to the employment market of students who have difficulties in professional self-determination and have an unclear idea of their career trajectory. Theoretical analysis of the terms “youth” and “young students”; questioning Tomsk State Pedagogical University senior students (years of 2020–2022), singling out the target group, i.e. those students who have difficulties, designing and applying the program. There presented the main content idea and specific peculiarities of the general enriching program for additional education “Basics of effective employment in education”. Implementing the comparative analysis of initial and final questionnaires of students with difficulties (participants of the program), we’ve traced positive dynamics in the parameters “plan employment in education” and “identify themselves with professional pedagogical activities”. The results of monitoring employment of the program participants show that on average 67 % of the participants have got employed due to the completed pedagogical education. It has revealed that applying the additional general enriching program “Basics of effective employment in education” causes students’ motivation towards building their professional pedagogical career, has a positive impact on the formation of professional pedagogical identity and can be used as a mechanism of assisting students’ professional self-determination and employment in the regional educational system. The humanistic approach in education is relevant to the subject-subject paradigm, the transition to which is possible through the development and formation of subject positions of students, transferring them from passive consumers of information to actively and consciously acting participants in the educational process, subjects of educational activity. «Quality» is a fundamental parameter of any kind of activity and is now considered as one of the most important categories of philosophy and a term actively used in the modern economy. This process in the pedagogical system has specific features. Thus, the expert evaluation of the management of the quality of the pedagogical process, referring to the administrative language, refers to the internal audit of the content of education in a pedagogical university. Improving the quality of education also involves solving important methodological problems in the management of the quality of teacher education, which include the solution of the psychological and pedagogical problem of professional self-determination and educational identity. | 5236 | Introduction.The article examines the topic of sea travel by Antonin Ladinsky using the example of the collection “Black and Blue”, the first in the poet’s work, in which the main lines of his poetry were formed, further developed in subsequent collections. Aim and objectives: to trace the semantics of sea navigation, taking into account the acmeistic influences on the poet by N. Gumilyov, for whom this topic was one of the main in his work and reflected the basic principles of the acmeistic worldview of the poet. Material and methods. The research methodology assumes a literary interpretation of lyric texts with an understanding of the theoretical foundations of the poetics of acmeism (“alien word”, polyphonic text, dynamic space, etc.). The method of intertextual analysis was also used when comparing texts belonging to different literary eras. Results and discussion. Ladinsky’s work was already the subject of scientific research, the poet’s orientation towards symbolism and acmeism was also noted, the difficulty of attributing his lyrics to any of these modernist movements was indicated. But sea voyage as the central theme of the first collection “Black and Blue” in the context of acmeistic poetics has not yet attracted the attention of researchers. We examined the influence of the Gumilev theme of sea voyages on the lyrics of Ant. Ladinsky in terms of the poet’s polemic with the master of acmeism, the originality of the topic under consideration is revealed in connection with his emigre experience. Conclusion. In the lyrics of Antonin Ladinsky, the sea voyage becomes a reflection of his path as an emigrant, and in this sence he argues with N. Gumilev, whose theme of sailing on the seas has a culturological meaning and reflects the acmeistic principle of cognizing Life through Art. The semantics of sea travel, in the context of acmeistic poetics, allows Ladinsky to say his word to the world, adding his voice to the mighty cultural choir of the singers of the sea. The acmeistic position turns out to be close to him by its earthly nature, and the symbolist one – by the awareness of the powerful force of otherness. Through dialogue with the “alien word”, the poet declares his own experience of mastering the world, which is different from both the Acmeists and the Symbolists. The tragic view of the world, conditioned by the situation of emigration, sounds in the first collection not yet in full force, the acmeistic “acceptance of reality” still has its “inertia”, but the awareness of what happened as a catastrophe and the path to the world of death has already occurred.
