| 6051 | Introduction. The problems of awareness of life difficulties, psychological needs and anxieties of women of the Asian diaspora, as well as their survival strategies are studied. Material and methods. This paper takes a comparative literature approach and textual close reading methods to interpret two novels written by Chinese overseas female writers. Results and discussion. Both Nieh Hualing’s Mulberry and Peach (1981) and Jean Kwok’s Searching for Sylvie Lee (2019) depict the diasporic experiences of female fictional characters in war times and peaceful contemporary era respectively. Even if the dates of publication of the two novels are across nearly half a century, there are a number of identical elements between them. For instance, both female protagonists suffer from constant cross-border movements, estrangement, even schizophrenia. This paper endeavors to tackle the problems that firstly why female diasporas fall into the estrangement predicament through ceaseless transnational movements, then what are the dialectical relations of spatial mobility and estrangement, and lastly how and why they forge the alternating personality and fluid identity. Conclusion. Through analysis, it concludes that the ceaseless spatial mobility experiences prompt the diasporic protagonists to estrange from their family, culture and self. Furthermore, spatial mobility and estrangement interplay between each other, and finally leading to diasporic women’s dual personalities, which can be seen as both the predicament and the survival strategies of those diasporas. That is to say, the flexible and fluid personality or identity is a request for them to survive in foreign countries. It is hoped that the discussion on those protagonists’ survival tactics will shed light on the exploration of the possible strategies to better the diasporas’ living conditions. | 6052 | Modern kickboxing imposes high demands not only to the technical, physical and tactical training of athletes, but also to their moral, volitional and mental qualities. Nowadays there is a necessity to develop the athletes’ ability to quickly analyse the situation in a competitive fight, to switch from defensive actions to attacking and conversely. This is associated with the formation of appropriate personal qualities (courage, determination, purposefulness, responsibility) and strengthening the educational component in the training process. The aim is to substantiate the experimental methodology of education of courage of young kickboxers, engaged in the school of Olympic reserve, and to reveal its influence on the quality of sports training and education of moral qualities. Analysis of theoretical sources with a description of research on athletes in individual and team, cyclic and acyclic sports (sports training) and research on cadets of the Military Department and the Department of Internal Affairs (professional-applied training), as well as analysis of practical experience of coaches-teachers of kickboxing in sports complex “Start” (Tomsk). The problem of research was stated, consisting in the lack of modern methods of education of courage of kickboxers 11–12 years old, engaged in a sports school of Olympic reserve. The content was also substantiated and the effectiveness of the experimental methodology was experimentally confirmed. The results of its implementation in preparation of kickboxers of the experimental group showed that the changes of effects in all control trials at the end of the experiment were significantly higher and statistically reliable comparing to the results of kickboxers of the control group, which didn’t have any statistical validity. The development of courage of young kickboxers is favourably influenced by increasing the degree of difficulty of performing training exercises, which is realized by means of additional equipment and the introduction of complicating conditions. The results of the pedagogical experiment allow us to conclude that there is a correlation between the rates of courage development and the activity rate of young kickboxers in a competitive fight. | 6057 | The unit of measure of education quality is entered. Difficulties of introduction of a universal unit of measure are discussed. The option based on an average arithmetic assessment of knowledge of studied disciplines is considered. Sources of the errors arising at such expert assessment are studied. It is shown that the size of an error can be reduced if to use probabilistic approach. It is based on the introduction of functions – mathematical expectation estimation. The mathematical technology of processing of indicators of progress is offered. It is noted that the main problem there is a choice of an expert assessment. An example of objective calculation of an assessment is reviewed. The conclusion that the number of indicators of progress should not exceed three-four is drawn, otherwise errors of measurements increase more, than for 50 %. The problem of choice of indicators for assessment of level of training of the student is formulated. It is shown that the main priorities for the employer are his professional competences, and common cultural pale into insignificance. The conclusion can be drawn on quality of education, later some period after the beginning of work of the graduate of educational institution. It is shown that the state of educational-methodical documentation of the department has little effect on the quality of education. It is specified that major factors of improvement of quality of education are the material base of higher education institution, a condition of research activity and close cooperation with employers. They allow to introduce innovative achievements of science in educational process. | 6067 | The article deals with the metacommunicative components, metacommunicative statements and metacommunicative situations on the whole with specifying semantics, in other words, the object of analysis is metacommunicative speech acts of the speaker, which represent a verbal explanation of the specific speech situation, specification, concretization of the speech act of the participant of the communication process. The article explains the practical significance of the use of such speech acts. The specification allows us to focus on the speech behavior of the interlocutor, regulate the process of communication and request additional information which is necessary for a complete and correct interpretation of a speech act. Metacommunicative speech acts can be expressed as particles (то есть – that is, да – yes, вроде – like), adverbs (точно – exactly, правильно – right, верно – correct, etc. ), and metacommunicative statements of the phraseological character (иметь в виду – to bear in mind, пойми меня правильно – understand me correctly), interrogative metacommunicative statements (Что ты хочешь этим сказать? – What do you mean by that? Слышишь? – Do you hear? etc.), metacommunicative statements (Я ничего не понял, объясните и др. – I did not understand anything, will you explain, etc.) and whole metacommunicative speech situations containing the action tendency to explain what was said. | 6068 | Introduction. The results of the annual monitoring of the input and final diagnostics of the development of additional professional programs by students are presented. Aim and objectives. The goal is to determine the degree of formation of students’ professional competencies when mastering additional professional programs, as well as to determine the dynamics of changes in the subject position of students regarding their professional competence. Material and methods. The research material was the data obtained from the final diagnosis developed by the Institute of Continuing Professional Education. Identified difficulties in the training of students, as well as interesting dynamics in four sections of the questionnaire are presented: the position of students of the courses regarding their legal competence, psychological and pedagogical competence, professional skills, and the relevance of using the Institute’s information and methodological resources. Results and discussion. An analysis of the data of the conducted input and final diagnostics of the level of training of students in the development of additional professional programs for 2019 revealed the typical and remaining difficulties that students experience. Two categories took part in the survey: “Pedagogical workers” and “Leading workers”. Diagnostic data showed that most students feel the need to develop their professional competence. The need for the development of skills that allow you to build your own professional activities in accordance with the legislation in the field of education remains relevant in the work of both teachers and managers. An important issue is the use by students of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills in professional activities. Input diagnostic data show a fairly small percentage of students who use psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills, as well as the use of a systematic and natural basis. Another problem remains the awareness of an insufficient level of knowledge of information and communication technologies. Despite the sufficient openness of the institute’s information resources and its presence on the official website, a fairly large percentage of students are not sufficiently familiar with project and information-methodological resources, including those presented on portals and sites located on the official website, since this is not in their circle duties, according to listeners. Conclusion. The remaining difficulties identified will allow us to adjust the work of carrying out operational adjustments to the content and forms of work of the teaching staff with students during the development of additional professional programs, as well as to determine approaches to making effective management decisions aimed at ensuring positive dynamics in the results of the development of additional professional programs by students. We use the averaging method for solving the restricted three-body problem. This method is based on applying transformations Lie in the space of Pfaff. With the main focus on such countries as Great Britain, Germany, China, India, Singapore and the United States, a comparative analysis and key features of educational practices of the world’s leading private universities of human capital’s formation are presented. Material and methods. The research material was English-language sources, official websites of the world’s leading private universities: University of Massachusetts, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania (USA), Jacobs University of Bremen and Zeppelin University (Germany), National University of Singapore (NUS), etc. Analysis of leading private universities’ educational practices, which made it possible to reveal and substantiate the educational practices’ key characteristics in human capital formation. Results and discussion. The educational practices’ key characteristics of the world’s leading universities as a tool for realizing human capital are the following: – autonomy of a private university, characterized by its own independent design of the university management’s strategy and policy and educational process – knowledge interdisciplinary synthesis based on the various scientific research’s integration and the widespread use of modern educational technologies. Creation of interdisciplinary institutes and multi-university programs; – high concentration of talents of all educational process’ subjects, where the main factor in the human capital formation in a private university is the privilege of selective selection of students with high academic performance, attracting famous scientists to research; – universities network interaction with the industrial sphere in the light of personnel training. The main form of networking is the corporate universities creation; – universities consortium, which is a single university that forms a unified brand with a centralized structure; – effective fundraising system that ensures the productive human capital formation. The main source is income from own scientific and practical developments carried out on a contractual basis by public and private firms; – research reputation. Advanced scientific and practical developments, characterized by productivity. Research developments directly depend on the universities autonomy, the greater of a university`s autonomy, the freer it is in choosing research areas. Conclusion. The modern education system acts as an integrator of the interests of the individual and society, predetermining the development of mankind for many years to come. The experience of a foreign private higher school shows that educational practices are an effective mechanism in the formation of human capital. The human capital acquired in the process of learning changes the quality of a person’s life, has a direct impact on his intellectual, creative and cultural level. | 6088 | The article is devoted to studying the image of Polish diaspora of Siberia in modern Poland. The materials under study were publications in the monthly journal written in Russian “Новая Польша” (The New Poland) issued in Poland since 1999. The linguistic means creating the image considering the binary opposition “friend – foe” are being analyzed in this work. The analysis of periodicals has shown that in narrations about Poles in Siberia the exiled Poles are in the limelight. Their inclusion into “friends” by modern Polish society is observed. The vocabulary markers of two levels are met: group level (our) and personal (my). It was defined that among the properties allowing considering the exiled Poles as “friends” are as follows: birth in Poland, the status of exiled, i. e. forcible transfer to Siberia in XIX century or in the middle of ХХ, lack of mindset to integrate with the Siberian society, striving for good education. As the exiled Poles are considered being “friends”, their perception of Siberia as of the place for exile became one of the main components of historical perception of Poles and therefore the self-identification aspect. The information about modern Siberian Poles on the pages of “Новая Польша” newspaper looks more decent. However it is observed that while their description the vocabulary characterizing Siberian Poles with a definite degree of “foreignness” is often met. The Poland nominates are often observed when creating the image of modern Siberian Poles; however the rest context of the text makes them lose their value. Being born in Siberia and its perception as the motherland as well as loss of Polish language became the main factors of distance formation. Therefore, the application of binary opposition “friend – foe” showed the double nature of perception of Polish diaspora in Siberia by Polish society. Exiled Poles are felt closer and therefore defined as “friends”. Some kind of foreignness is seen in regards to modern Siberian Poles. | 6097 | The article deals with the plant names motivated by their habitat. The study relies on regional and common names that belong to Russian and German traditional nomenclatures of plants and derive from animal names by a metonymic transfer. The author reveals common and particular bases of such transfer. First of all, the transfer may take place in both Russian and German if habitat of a plant concurs with habitat of an animal. Such correlation implies seven coincident habitats. Five of them are common in Russian and German. They are 1) woods, 2) fields and meadows, 3) waters, 4) marshes and 5) shadow places. The one habitat specific in Russian is steppe; the one specific in German is rocks and mountains. The other common bases of metonymic transfer are ‘habitat of a plant concurs with shelter of an animal, and concurs with a place animal usually prefers to stay or visit. To the specific German bases belong the following two: habitat of a plant concurs with pasture of an animal; and habitat of a plant concurs with a place for animal to breed. Another aim of the article is to show how important the ethnocultural background is for plants’ nomination. Common symbolism in Russian and German ethnocultures have such animals and birds like wolf, bear, deer, hare, snake, frog, toad, duck, swan and crane. That is the reason plants with similar habitat have similar names in both languages. Different ethnocultural meaning have elk, woodpecker, raven, crow and magpie (in Russian); as well as chamois, fox, cuckoo, stork, swine, cow, sheep and goat (in German). It gives the reason for usage of methodological and a number of linguistic principles of selection of active special lexical units taking into account the specifics of the subject and interdisciplinary language training, linguistic and extra-linguistic features of judicial language. The choice of special vocabulary is based on the analysis of domestic and foreign terminological research in the field of law. | 6100 | The issues of legal culture and legal ideas of the peasantry population of Russia in the process of agra¬rian colonization of the regions behind the Urals are analyzed in the article. M.K. Churkin, generally ac¬cepting the thesis of the predominant role of the re¬gular legal grounds in the mentality of peasants, still believes that the measures taken in the post-refor¬mation period couldn't help influencing legal mentali¬ty of the peasants of European Russia. New ideas of law predominance in the social and economical life (mainly in agriculture) were transferred by the Rus¬sian settlers in 70* - 90th of the 19th century and at the beginning of 20th century to the colonized regions of Siberia.
