Rodari correspond to his concept of translation-portrait and organically fit into the history of Russian and Italian literature for children in the middle of the 20th century. The purpose of the article is seen in the disclosure of the relationship between the principles of Marshak-translator and their refraction in translations of poetry and prose by J. Rodari, addressed to the child reader. Material and methods. The material of the study is critical articles by S. Ya. Marshak, poems by G. Rodari “What do crafts smell like?”, “Venice” and the prose story-tale “The Adventures of Cipollino”, translated by Z. M. Potapova and edited by S. Ya. Marshak. The work uses receptive and imagological approaches, comparative-typological, comparative-historical and comparative-comparative methods, as well as contextual and content analysis of Rodari’s original works and their Russian counterparts-translations. Results and discussion. There are different types of translations – “address” translation by K. I. Chukovsky, “translation-portrait” and translation-editing by S. Ya. Marshak. In accordance with the poetics of Italian poetry for children and the Italian literary fairy tale, S. Ya. Marshak’s translations of G. Rodari’s poems and the translation-retelling of the story “The Adventures of Cipollino” are analyzed. The folklore origins of Italian children’s literature are revealed, the connection of the fairy tale about the onion boy with the traditions of “commedia dell’arte” and with a fairy tale, the features of the reader’s perception of the child are revealed, the “double” aesthetic position of the author writing for children is comprehended: “adult” consciousness, resurrecting in itself the consciousness and worldview of the child. The translation principles of S. Ya. Marshak-poet and S. Ya. Marshak-prose writer are considered and compared. The role of the works of G. Rodari in the formation of Russian-Italian literary and cultural relationships and in the formation of Russian literature for children is emphasized. Conclusion. Melnikov J.B., Shitikov S.A., Sintsova S.G. ATTITUDE TO MATHEMATICAL PHENOMENA AND THEIR IMPACT ON TEACHING MATHEMATICS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 8 (185). P. 108-113

The mathematical phenomenon includes the mathematical concept, the system of axioms, theorem, method, algorithm, etc. The purpose of this research is determination of all the options of perception to the mathematical phenomenon relevant for the education system and identifying some of the learning features for each of these options. A set of three postulates is chosen (the postulate on the priority result of educational and mathematical activity, the postulate of the didactic relevance of the components of activity, the postulate of the priority component of educational and mathematical activity). It is shown that if these postulates are implemented from the didactic point of view, then only two variants of the relation to mathematical phenomena are applicable: 1) the mathematical phenomenon as the subject of activity (in particular, as information to be memorized); 2) mathematical phenomenon as a tool of activity. The study of the mathematical phenomenon always begins in a situation when this phenomenon acts as an object of activity. However, to form a view of this phenomenon, the teacher must create conditions, the learning environment in which the learner naturally desires to consider this phenomenon as an instrument of activity. The examples of reflection of these variants of relationship in theory and practice of teaching mathematics are given. It is pointed out that for the students to take a mathematical phenomenon as a versatile phenomenon associated with other mathematical and non-mathematical phenomena, it is necessary that both variants of the relation to the mathematical phenomenon should be represented in the educational process.

The author of the paper collected information about 60 whetstones originating from monuments of Early Iron Age cultures in the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia. For the first time, based on the collected materials, a classification scheme of whetstones was developed on the basis of such attributes as shapes of face and back sides, section (only for Group 4), top and bottom designs of whetstones. Four groups with subgroups and variants were singled out. Whetstones from the Tomsk Ob Region and the Khakas-Minusinsk Basin stored in two museums (Museum of Siberian Archaeology and Ethnography, Tomsk State University, and the Seversk Museum) were introduced in this scheme. The occurrence of specific shapes of whetstones in archaeological cultures of the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia was analyzed. It was revealed that whetstones of Group 1 were most common. Trapezoidal and oval whetstones occur frequently as well. Rod-shaped whetstones are the least frequent. The latter ones, along with whetstones of the second subgroup of Group 1, have better shapes and are carefully polished. Some whetstones were examined using an electron microscope in order to ascertain whether they had been used as household articles and touchstones. The results of the examination were negative. In terms of purpose, whetstones originating from graves were most likely to be used as objects of worship / prestige value.

The paper outlines the relativization strategies employed by Eastern Khanty, an endangered underdescribed Finno-Ugric language spoken in Western Siberia. The notion of subordination employed here is confined mainly to morphosyntactic criteria such as clausal embedding and the use of non-finite verb-forms. The approach involves a synchronic analysis of structural patterns and functional-semantic features of relative clauses in the general functional theoretical framework. These syntactic constructions are also considered diachronically revealing the paratactic character of the Khanty complex sentences. The analysis is based on the Khanty narrative corpus, reference-grammars and dictionaries. The paper includes the analysis of morphosyntactic structures coding relative relations and other cases having different morphosyntactic manifestations, but the same underlying cognitive structure.

Kobenko Y.V. UNKNOWN OBVIOUS TRICHOTOMY: ROLE OF LOGIC IN GLOTTOGONY. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 7 (204). P. 115-129

Introduction. The oxymoron in the title of the paper expresses the evidence of the trichotomy proposed in the work and its obscurity to a wide range of poststructuralists who in one way or another touch upon questions of glottogenesis. The dominance in the world linguistics of the intracorporal vectors of language search from the middle of the past century led only to the mystification of this field of knowledge. However, the turn of research at the change of millennia towards extralinguistics is capable of dispelling the myth rooted in a wide audience about the intracorporal (cognitive, psychological, mental, etc.) origin of the language and leading the extralinguistic determinism of glottogony and language evolution processes to the first positions in linguistics. Nevertheless, contrary to the repeatedly verified data of interdisciplinary research, at present, one can still observe the confrontation of the sophistic tradition of idealism, defending the idea of intracorporal origin of the language, and the completely forgotten in linguistic circles theory of socially determined genesis of language, that had solitary status still in the middle of the last century. Post-structuralism, which has thoroughly entered into a “cognitive dead end”, has condemned itself to deserved criticism, to which a fair amount of this work is devoted. The aim of the paper is to propose a new trichotomy of structural systemic linguistics “language system – grammar – speech”. Material and methods. Structural-systemic and semiotic approaches form the epistemological framework of the study, during which the methods of logic (analysis, synthesis, comparison, etc.) were used, as well as the general scientific method of triangulation, that allows to single out a common third for two objects of observation. Results and discussion. The proposed trichotomy of the structural-system linguistics “language system – grammar – speech”, where grammar is understood as a set of rules, and speech – as a result of combinations of system elements, deepens understanding of the functioning of sign communication systems in the language community, as well as co-evolution of language and society. The language is designed so that the minimum of speech combinatorics can contribute to the assimilation of the rule, and the learned rule, in turn, is the key to mastering the maximum of the system itself. The rule, as an additional third and transitional link between the system and the function, acts simultaneously as an extra-linguistic binding of the virtual system of signs, invisible to a person, and the speaker. The sign nature of a language is understood through the semiotic conditionality of glottogony, in which logic plays a leading role not in the Aristotelian sense, but as a system of principles, laws, and operations for performing a certain activity — in this case, communicative. The participation of logic in the processes of speech-generation refutes the existing ideas about grammar as part of a language construct and prompts to consider it an additional third (instruction) in relation to the language system and individual speech repertoires. Conclusion. Glottogony is not a cognitive, but a logical-semiotic process. The sign, which lies at the base of all three elements of trichotomy, precedes both the processes of understanding (awareness) and the production of speech. In addi tion, through the sign and logical (non-mental or speculative) rule of its use, the speaking population becomes itself: the sign and rule unites users of the language, realizing its main function in the environment – the integrative one.

Social-psychological image definition should take info account its double nature – social and psychological. Being the subject’s unit for the social group, image in definite sense is the unit of the given group for the given subject at the same time, as the image creation occurs in accordance with the deliberate and non-deliberate notions of the subject about the characteristics of the group, for which the image is being created. Image shouldn’t be considered only as the phenomenon of the individual’s mental life, but it is wrong to describe it exclusively as a display of the external factors regarding the individual, including an influence of the group. Introduction. The issues of communication between the author, the character and the reader in the artistic world of this or that writer remain relevant. The scientific tradition of the study of narratives and the modern literary concepts that complement it (for example, the poetics of personalism) have established that the author is present in his work both narratively and structurally; The author is the creator of the artistic world and at the same time the narrator about it. The author’s subject is manifested through the subject organization of the work, as well as through a storytelling event. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to analyze the compositional speech structure of Svetlana Lavrova’s works addressed to a child reader, to consider the category of “author-hero-reader” categories, to establish the connection of the narrative structure with the author’s artistic world and axiology. Materials and research methods. It is revealed that in the artistic world of S. Lavrova various methods of narration and various forms of manifestation of the author’s subject are used: from a personality-neutral narrator to a personalized narrator. The complexity of the subject organization, the multiplicity of points of view in the artistic world of S. Lavrova are designed to create the most complete and accurate picture of reality. The saturation of the works of S. Lavrova with references, allusions, reminiscences to works included in the circle of children’s and youthful reading actualizes the mechanism of the language game and contributes to the formation of communication between the author and the reader. Results and discussion. As a result, it was found that the most important structural principle of the creation of the artistic world of S. Lavrova is the juxtaposition of outof-place things, the coexistence of the real and the fantastic, the rejection of credibility, but the desire for vitality. Emphasizing the conscious formation of the text by the author creates such a type of narration in which the boundaries between the world of the author and the world of characters, as well as between the world of characters and the world of the reader, are mobile and permeable. Metapathing creates the effect of complete creative freedom of the author, causes a feeling of inner unpredictability and contributes to the formation of game poetics. Conclusion. In the works of S. Lavrova, the world surrounding the child is depicted as internally coherent, harmonious, of absolute value, and the involvement of the child reader in it contributes to understanding oneself and one’s place in the world.

The article is devoted to the explanation of the actuality and innovation of the issues of complex linguistic study of Laowai network jargon – the language of Russian expats in China Internet communication. On the background studies of the Russian language in Eastern countries and Russian-Chinese frontier, discusses the history of the issue. The author proves the uniqueness as compared to the historically previous and compared to other contemporary bilingual (e.g. English-Russian), the situation of interaction between Russian and Chinese cultures in the discourse of virtual Russian Diaspora. The expats have no plans for assimilation in new community and the situation of a balanced linguistic partnerships between typologically radically different languages with approximately equal reputational status determine the specifics and dynamics of the reception of the Chinese language and culture. Chinese ksenonims in laowai substandart have a dual functionality. On the one hand, they, being jargon lexical substrate, perform all inherent in the jargon vocabulary of functions: identification, password, evaluative, expressive, creative. On the other hand, being other cultures lexical substrate, they are the main guides to the world of language, which has secondary cultural orientation, language, turned into the area of foreign language culture.
