| 1901 | The article points to research of language representation of a media communicative universal – a law of pragmatically and intentionally conditional variety of textual activity in interpretation of informational reason in mass media. Media communicative universal is defined by the author as a law and its realizing principles of textual organization, which reflect informational reason as an element of media communication and meet the criteria for frequency and repetition. Specific character of actualization of textual activity variety in interpretation of informational reason in mass media on the example of media text in the genre of news was revealed. Based on the news materials from the informational portal “Echo of Moscow” on the launch of intercontinental ballistic missile of DPRK on 28-th of November 2017 as an actual informational reason, the following principles concerning realization of such communicative universal were examined: 1) multivariety of world pictures of different native speakers and translators of information; 2) polyphony of dialogically conditional discursive practice connected with informational reason including change of communicative roles, tactics and strategies of subjects in the process of media communication; 3) social self-representation and creative self-actualization of sources and translators of informational reason in mass media. It was determined that in realization of the law of pragmatically and intentionally conditional variety of textual activity in interpretation of informational reason in mass media the connecting elements are repeated key words and markers of events, which became actual informational reason for interpretation in mass media: toponyms, anthroponyms, names of events, temporal vocabulary, dates, different actualization of space category. Variation in news texts is realized on the level of citation; means of subjective modality expression including social estimation; it’s revealed in actualization of sources of information; in degree of its concretization and peculiarities of different aspects of informational reason’s concentration. | 1920 | The article presents the experience of comparative analysis of the image of the lyrical hero in Russian and French poetry of symbolism in the aspect of lexical means of explicating the problem of life searches and searching for the meaning of human existence. It is demonstrated that the essence of the philosophical aesthetics of symbolism lies in the knowledge of the world on the basis of the idealistic concept of duality, according to which the world of ideas is considered true, and the real world is recognized as imperfect. The subject of consideration is the specificity of the organization of lexical level units involved in creating images of the lyric hero in the poetical texts of S. Baudelaire and A. Blok. Through the use of lexical-semantic, textological analysis and with reference to the dictionary data it is demonstrated that the rebellious heroes of famous poets perceive life through the tragedy aesthetics of symbolism. The problem of vital searches of lyric heroes Baudelaire and Blok is presented in dynamics and is realized in the context of understanding the philosophical aesthetics of symbolism in general, and also taking into account the characteristics of the author’s worldview. In the comprehension of the problem of life searches of lyric heroes Sh. Baudelaire and A. Blok it is possible to outline both similar and distinctive tendencies. | 1921 | Introduction. The article highlights the specifics of the legal discourse in the aspect of its institutional interdependence and space conceptualization of metaphor terminology. The aim of the article is to identify the interrelation between the SPACE (horizontal/vertical) conceptualization of the metaphorical terminology of the Russian legal discourse and the horizontal line classification by branches of law and the vertical hierarchical system of the Russian legislation system. Material and methods. The legal discourse notion and its specificity is considered through the prism of legislative system branch classification accepted in the Russian Federation. The conceptual structure of the legislation system arranged in the form of the horizontal line classification by branches of law and the vertical hierarchical system of conceptual metaphor representation is realized through the terminology of the legal discourse. Results and discussion. Conceptualization in the field of metaphor terminology directly reflects the conceptual structure of the law branch. Although there is a broad variety of grounds for classification typology, the conceptualization of knowledge structures depends directly on the branch of law. Legal branch metaphor terms are constructs of a particular branch of legal discourse, which transfer special concepts of mentality regarding the objects of a particular branch of legal discourse. Conclusion. The analysis of the specifics of the institutional legal discourse reveals the conditionality and interdependence of the knowledge conceptualization within metaphor modeling in the legal terminology. The nominative means for the concepts system transfer are based on the terminology concept system and are determined mainly by the legal context (i.e. legal branch). The content of the knowledge structures in the legal discourse terminology is determined and influenced by the evolution of the legal knowledge within the framework of language and socio-cultural community. | 1923 | The article deals with the existing definitions of fluvioglacial deposits that are chiefly developed in the mountain lands. It also points out the main contradictions in field and laboratory diagnostics of fluvioglacial deposits contained in the fact that lithologic criteria for such diagnostics do not exist in the nature. It refers to all the facies of fluvioglacial deposits in the pre-glacial zone. The absence of lithologic criteria of distinguishing between the so-called fluvioglacial and mountainous alluvium is explained by the structure of all these deposits. It is conditioned by hydrodynamic peculiarities of the floods in which they are developed. Pre-glacial fluvial sediments undergo the process of laying many times both immediately by the glacier margin and under the glacier itself. Thus, it means that according to the well-spread classifications all the melt-water deposits (except pre-glacial lake deposits) should be called «alluvium». Besides, it often happens that some forms of a principally different genesis-diluvial origin-would be taken for the deposits of melt glacier water. The former it their turn have been formed by cataclysmic (i.e. - temporary) floods from ice-dammed lakes which outburst. Unclear diagnostics of water deposits leads to the difficulties in defining criteria to seek alluvial placers. The article shows the place of diluvial deposits in the row of other genetic types of loose sediments. | 1932 | The article deals with lexicographic material, which allows seeing the features of the concept both in diachrony and in synchrony. There is doubt that dictionaries in Russian and Chinese as lexicographic materials help us to see the semantic and derivational efficiency of the concept and its segments in full. Meanwhile the lexical meanings fixed in the dictionary are what people have in mind when they use the word. Fate is one the most important categories of consciousness, through which a national conceptual picture of the world is built in Russia and in China; therefore comparative analysis of the concept fate in Russian and Chinese is of interest all over the world. In the article we use the comparative analysis method and reveal the similarities and differences in their meanings in Chinese and Russian explanatory dictionaries to disclose different concepts of fate from the root in Chinese and Russian. Through analysis it is concluded that such values as, for example, the will of God, the higher power, fate, lot, stake, fate are characteristic of both languages, while the definitions of order, superstition, development and change are peculiar only to the Chinese language, and the court, the court of God, the verdict – exclusively to the Russian language. | 1933 | The paper presents the comparative analysis of French, Russian and English figurative vocabulary representing archetypically essential foods – honey, milk and butter. Figurative vocabulary is a valuable source of data connected with national mentality; it reflects material and spiritual culture in the language. The investigation of figurative expressions containing different linguistic units which represent foods is relevant due to the fact that food, being an element of national culture, is connected in the greatest degree with peoples’ perception of their national characteristic features. Figurative expressions containing such linguistic units as ‘honey’, ‘milk’ and ‘bread’ have been analyzed as these elements are frequently used in French, Russian and English figurative expressions. Milk and honey are equally significant foods for the Russians and French people, consequently, figurative meanings represented by these linguistic units are similar in both cultures. Milk symbolizes health, youth; it is also a source of enjoyment and pleasure in the English and French cultures. The linguocultural analysis of French figurative expressions was supplemented by the examination of their realizations in different types of discourse and compared to equivalent expressions in the Russian and English languages. The most vivid examples are provided with contexts from different types of discourse. The complex analysis of French expressions containing the unit “beurre” has shown that one and the same expression can have not only different but also antonymic figurative meanings which have opposite connotations. Thus, the results have shown that the complex analysis should be carried out in three aspects: linguocultural, comparative and discourse ones. Mink criticized concept of following a story elaborated by W. B. Gallie and asserted configurational character of narrative activity. He says that the author derives the structure from telling the story itself, not from the events it relates. And developing this idea H. White concluded that historians draw on the «plot-structure» identified by N. Frye as Romance, Comedy, Tragedy and Satire. D. Carr says that it is an «escape» from reality. He stresses continuity between narrative and everyday life and recon-figurational character of historical and fictional narrative.
