| 4302 | The global financial and economic crisis in different ways influenced the budget system of the Federation, therefore to analyze fiscal policy regions were grouped in such a way as to identify subjects with similar crisis consequences. In the article all regions were divided into nine types, they were subsequently divided into three groups. As a result of this work, we found that the most sensitive to the crisis was a group of regions with the average development, as well as areas of the economy which is the basis of engineering, also clearly observed low degree of competitiveness of the manufacturing sector. Among the regions, where the main focus is the mining industry, as part of the study we revealed a high degree of dependence on conditions in the world oil market. Under these conditions, the role of government fiscal policy, especially in the field of intergovernmental relations, is becoming one of the defining factors of socio-economic development of regions. | 4303 | Introduction. The present paper examines a literary figure of ekphrasis and its implementation through intertextual references in fiction. Despite how relatively ‘researched’ the phenomenon of ekphrasis is, the overwhelming majority of existing works focuses on the transfer of meaning between the verbal and visual mediums. This approach omits the reader’s possible interpretation of ekphrastic descriptions and their stylistic expression in texts. The aim of the research is to carry out a linguistic analysis of ekphrastic intertextual references and their possible impact on the reader’s perception of a fictional text. Material and methods. The study is based on ekphrastic abstracts from the novels by Dina Rubina ‘On the Sunny Side of the Street’ and Margaret Atwood’s ‘Cat’s Eye’. The research methodology uses the following techniques of cognitive poetics: the figure-ground dichotomy, the model of literary resonance, the theory of narrative interrelation. Results and discussion. The cognitive poetic analysis of the ekphrastic representations of characters has shown: • intertextual references link scenes within a narrative; • intertextual references supply additional symbolic and metaphorical meanings to an artwork; • intertextual references imitate the visual organisation of an art object at the syntactic, semantic and textual levels. Conclusion. Using cognitive poetic methods of linguistic analysis, we examined stylistic expression of ekphrasis in a literary text. Taking the role of a figure, the character depicted in the painting acts as a pronounced attractor when influencing the reader’s perception. This perceptual influence is confirmed by the typical semantic, syntactic and stylistic characteristics of attractors presented in the analysed passages. Comparison of the ekphrastic descriptions and the corresponding context revealed the parallelism of the used constructions, which indicates a similar organisation of their figure-background relations. Parallelism can be also marked as specific intertextual references, through which an art object is actualised in the reader’s mind. In addition to the contextual environment, intertextual references contribute to the symbolic realisation of a character in a literary text, complementing their representation with metaphorical and conceptual meanings. Eastern Khanty negation is coded primarily by the negator of two types, indicative/declarative YntY and imperative дl. | 4311 | The article focusses on the means of expression of modality of potentiality and wish in Gothic and a tendency that developed in its system has been determined. The tendency shows the function of expressing the meanings of possibility, necessity and wish from grammatical means, i. e. moods, transferring to the lexical ones, i. e. verbs. To explain this process, the “weakest” parts of the modal subsystem of Gothic are being established. They are involved in changes: these are optative, imperative and preterite-present verbs. | 4323 | The subject of this paper is the problem of the author’s dramatic plot. It is the designation of the appraisal and from – without – vision peculiarities of the story depicted by the author. These peculiarities tell the playwright both from the other authors interpreting the same plot situation and from the hero having his own comprehension of what is going on from within the dramatic situation. Besides Chekhov’s plot is not just the author’s plot. It is plot of special typology. The main function of heroes in it is not the action but the personality’s understanding of his present, past and future. On these grounds the integral world picture only appears on interaction of the position in vision and appraisal of the story by the characters from the reader’s/spectator’s position. As a result, the world model expressing the individual peculiarities of the author’s life conception is recreated on the territory of the reader’s consciousness. The playwrights of the 70th–early 80th of the 20th century typologically created the plots similar to Chekhov’s ones. But it is important that the authors used his elements as well – the situations keeping the author’s vision, heroes, with the help of which Chekhov’s world model appeared in his time. It allows us to speak about the working – out of Chekhov’s plot as “someone else’s”. In the final analysis, Chekhov’s plot has some prognostic functions. It sets the direction of the modern history movement, predicts key events. At the same time the unjustified of plot expectations allows the playwrights to designate, first of all, their own life understanding different from Chekhov’s; secondly, the principal lack of coincidence of their time and Chekhov’s time. Only in the situation of recognizing Chekhov’s heroes and situation become “the codes” allowing to decode the modern dramatic story, to reveal the plurality of its meanings, the individuality of the author’s position. In its turn, new meanings of Chekhov’s plot appear in the new author’s and time context. | 4324 | Social and domestic background of the short novel “Stroybat” (Construction Battalion) today is archaic, but the problems of betrayal, the preservation of culture in a hostile environment, youthful irresponsibility remain up to date. The story representing retelling of events on behalf of the character, is richly intoned and intonation gives topical character to its main subjects. Sergey Kaledin builds his story at the intersection of many voice streams: through the detached comment of an “alien” character, combination of exalted and everyday speech, alien words, chronotop “cutins”, playing with the rhythm and text density. The art world of the story is actively sated with the cultural and paracultural signs which today have become part of “the Soviet myth”. In reader's perception they also don't contribute to dokumentalizm of “Stroybat”, and on the contrary, promote his perception as parables about the good and evil. The system of the speech creates a feeling of convention of terrible details of stroybat as a social phenomenon and allows the reader to focus on the inner life of the character. | 4325 | Introduction. The article reveals the specifics of the archetypal images of earth, water, and air in L. Goralik’s trilogy about Venisana, which, in our opinion, contributes to a deeper understanding of the main trends in the development of modern Russian-language prose. The purpose of the work: to reveal the originality of archetypal images in L. Goralik’s cycle about Venisana. Material and methods. The theoretical basis of the research was the works of Russian structuralists and mythologists. The research material is L. Goralik’s trilogy about Venisana. Results and discussion. The analysis made it possible to identify the characteristic features of archetypal images in the L. Goralik trilogy. The images of stone, earth, water, air reveal their symbolic nature, reflecting the inner movement of the heroine in search of finding the meaning of her existence, at the same time, revealing the deep desire of the individual to change a destructive, unstable society. Conclusion. The author is involved in a postmodern game with the text, plays with meanings, so that the plot that unites the trilogy into a whole can be interpreted as 1) the story of the heroine’s growing up; 2) transformation of the fairy-tale plot of the journey to the afterlife; 3) the struggle of the conscious/unconscious. The text of the trilogy is a step-by-step analysis of the spiritual life of the main character, trying to find her place in a destructive society and her own family, burdened with an analysis of her own frustrations and, first of all, the drama of birth. The heroine is bound by the laws of the stone, unfree world, trying to escape into the space of freedom, relive the euphoria of birth, which ends in disaster – the newfound freedom discourages with its alienation and emptiness. The scenario with some variations is repeated several times throughout all three stories included in the cycle. The lack of freedom associated with the world of the city (stone), depending on the situation, turns out to be hostile (at the beginning of the quest), and desirable at the end. The return to the usual way of life is again replaced by the desire for freedom and leads to the next round of transformation. | 4326 | Introduction. The focus of this paper is the observation and comparison of several symbolic connotations of British and Slavic basic color terms. Aim and objectives. The paper’s aim is to discuss cultural and linguistic commonalities and peculiarities of a few color terms and prepare educational resource for different disciplines, such as English, Russian as a foreign language, ethnolinguistic and linguacultural studies. Material and methods. This paper observes British and Slavic idioms with the component ‘color’ in its connotative meaning. A cross-disciplinary approach helps identify the essential place of color terms in interpreting linguistic picture of the world and emphasizes the integrative role of culture. We consolidate with ideas of L. Bloomfield and J. Lyons concerning connotative meaning in linguistic semantics. Results and discussion. Connotative meanings of color terms often become cultural symbols and serve as signs of some abstract concepts. Since color perceptions relate to the sensory sphere, they are easily transferred to the characteristics of emotions, dignity of character, behavior, appearance. Interpretation of color terms in their connotative meanings will provide insight into the national mentality. Connotative meanings reflect individualized situations based on national cultural values and norms of social life. In provided examples the basic meaning of a color term is becomingusually narrower. Conclusion. The comparative analysis of connotations of five color terms leads to following conclusions: 1) color is able to evoke certain emotions traced in languages in the form of idioms containing a color component; 2) differences in the semantic structure of color connotations in English and Russian are due to national and cultural peculiarities; 3) etymology of color terms and historical facts sometimes make it possible to establish the dependence of a symbol on practice; 4) the main (perhaps the most universal) source of color terms are natural objects with a characteristic color. | 4336 | The results of experimental work on approbation of pedagogical support for the formation of readiness of bachelors of management for profession development are considered. The results obtained earlier in the course of the study made it possible to conclude that the first-year students participating in the study who chose the direction of training “Human Resources Management” have low awareness of the specifics, nature and content of the professional work of personnel specialists, orientation and expression of motives, formation of professionally important qualities. This determines the necessity to strengthen the orientation on the formation of personal readiness to master the profession from the first days of study at the university. In this regard, a set of pedagogical means has been developed and implemented, namely: the program of the training course “Introduction to Professional Activitiy”, a training manual and other methodical means. The content of the training course was realized according to a specific algorithm, including the decomposition of learning objectives and related with them planned results of training, selection and structuring of content, determination of methods for assessing the results of course mastering during and at the end of the study according to criteria and indicators for the implementation of relevant diagnostic tasks. This approach made it possible to ensure the structural, substantive and methodological integrity of the course, the relationship with other training courses and, in general, to pay attention to improving the level of readiness of bachelors in management to master professional competencies at the initial stage of training. The results of approbation confirm the hypothesis put forward by us on the need to include this course in the professional training of bachelors of management to ensure its effectiveness. | 4346 | Anthropocentric approach is currently very relevant in studying of language and culture. According to this approach the person appears to be the central reference point in measurement and description of objects of the surrounding reality. The question of spatial orientation is not quite studied at the moment in the Selkup culture which owing to its originality is of special interest for consideration. The article is devoted to studying of the above-stated question through the “prism” of a human body. Having carried out the linguistic analysis of names of parts of a human body it has been revealed that a human being is considered to be a focal point in view of the Selkups both in plane (horizontal) division of space and in vertical. Somonims are used by representatives of the Selkup ethnos to describe positions of parts of objects in space. Thus, somatic vocabulary is revealed to denote upper, lower, front, back, side and inner parts of objects. Moreover, some of them changed their grammatical category into postpositions and are currently used to describe the movements against parts of objects having certain position in space, i.e. the movements against the upper, lower, front, back and side parts of objects and the movement oriented inside. | 4347 | The article considers the problem of effectiveness of the process of military training, which is especially important today in the preparation of command and engineering staff for the Russian Federation air force. The internship is designed to consolidate the positive motivation of cadets in their chosen profession, understanding its importance for strengthening the country’s defense capability, growing cadets’ initiatives, will, resourcefulness, a sense of personal responsibility. Independent work during the military internship is a specific pedagogical means of organization and management of independent activity of cadets. For effective implementation of independent work, you must observe certain conditions, which are an important prerequisite for influencing the effectiveness of independent work of cadets. Analysis of literary sources, regulatory materials, as well as studies that define the pedagogical conditions, the effectiveness of the organization of students’ independent work in the process of military construction internships: the professional competence of internship managers who are appointed from teachers and cadets’ commanders; effective methodical organization of work; providing cadets with the necessary educational materials; quality control of independent work of students in the course of their professional formation. Monitoring the results of independent work of cadets is carried out simultaneously with the current control and in the implementation of the outcome of the military control of an internship. The same evaluation criteria are considered in the article results of independent work. The educational process of organizing independent work of students in the course of military internships implied the realization of the pedagogical conditions selected by us. The results of experimental work showed positive implementation of the pedagogical conditions and attitudes towards improving the quality of the professional activities of the cadets.
