| 4508 | The article deals with the problem of «concept» and «anticoncept» relations by the example of concepts TRADITION and FASHION in the English world picture. Concept and anticoncept are interrelated and interconnected. The relations between them and a metaconcept domain are similar to those of hyponyms and a hyperonym but not absolutely identical. Therefore, concept and anticoncept relations shouldn’t be described in terms of antonymy, because these two mental representations are not simply contrasted to each other. They have integrative and distinctive features that can be restored by different means, including association experiment. A study of association links can help in modeling the structure of the concept. The resulting verbal associations reflect the conceptual signs of the concepts TRADITION and FASHION, indicate a deep rootedness in the consciousness of the English cultural stereotypes which are a figurative representation of what is traditional and what is fashionable. The full spectrum of obtained associations allows to speak about the specifics of the conceptual connections in the consciousness of English-speakers. On the basis of the association experiment data analysis, it is proposed to treat concepts TRADITION and FASHION as concept and anticoncept correspondingly and to determine them as interrelated and interconnected oppositions included in the same metaconcept domain VALUES and forming its poles. | 4510 | Introduction. This paper discusses the features of the use and semantics evaluation of verbs from the microfield “regular consumption of alcohol in large quantities” (one of the microfields that make up the semantic field “binge drinking”). The goal is to analyze the evaluation value of the verbs of the selected microfield. Material and methods. The article is written on the material of the National Corpus of the Russian Language and various explanatory dictionaries. The methods of continuous sampling, contextual and definitional analysis were used. Results and discussion. The evaluative component of the verb «пить» ‘drink’ (the core lexeme of the microfield) can be reconstructed only from the surrounding context, the range of evaluative values of this verb is very wide. The verb “употреблять” ‘use’ and“злоупотреблять” ‘abuse’ have a negative rational assessment (as a rule, these verbs do not have an emotional assessment). The verbs “пить” ‘drink’ and the expression “глушить водку” ‘to hit vodka hard’ have a negative rational and a conflicting emotional assessment (sympathy). Within the selected microfield, a group of verbs of argot origin is distinguished: they are characterized by a common seme ‘excessiveness’ and a similar contextual environment. Another separate group is composed by verbs with the common potential semes ‘animal’ and ‘loss of human appearance’. These semes are often actualized with the surrounding context. Conclusion. The lexical meaning of the verbs of the selected microfield can contain various evaluative components. Some verbs express both rational and emotional judgment. New paradigmatic connections are formed within the microfield and some verbs acquire interesting syntactic features. Keywords: Russian language, semantic field, binge drinking, alcohol | 1867 | |||||

| 4514 | The paper touches upon the new problems in theory and practice of teaching the foreign languages in conformity with modern vital conditions. In such a context it is a matter of introducing a psychological component to the educational process to be aimed at optimization of foreign training at any stage of continuous education system as well as the improvement of communication teaching level. Application of up-to-date psychotechnologies in the process of foreign training seems to be within the capacity of the foreign lan¬guage teacher, as it does not require special psychothera-peutic knowledge. The present paper appears to be an ef¬fort to observe the opportunities of using neurolinguistics programming (NLP) strategics in practice of teaching the foreign languages at a non-linguistic higher educational in¬stitution which allow the teacher to reveal the students' style and apply the methods to be the most suitable for the present student or the given group. In this interpretation the NLP approach should be consid¬ered as one of the innovatory forms of educational and out-of-lecture teacher's activities within the bounds of possible spending of time, as a stimulus to the creative potential devel¬opment of students and, first of all, not as a principal method of teaching the foreign languages but as an additional technology to improve the foreign language educational process and make it more effective, easy and pleasurable for mastering. | 4516 | The ways of formation and organization of the inner world of a man may be observed at the level of spiritual contents of a man where a dialectic unity of soul and consciousness is revealed. The ways of formation and organization of the inner world of a man of a social level is actualized in a «system world». Here different forms of spirituality and non-spirituality are revealed. The historical experience shows that the carnation people is possible not only in gene engineering, but also by the social reorganization, by the souliessness of people in the capitalist society of general consumption. This very problem caused the environmental disaster of the planet. It was settled that the spirit of a man is a form of synthesis, it binds together the highest senses of the spiritual life and the consciousness of a man. It was found that one-sided development of one of the poles of the spirit leads to the formation of soulless highbrows on the one hand and senseless crowds of people living by instincts, archetypes of individual collective unconsciousness (the experience of fascism and stalinism) on the other. A man’s soul in predominant of the spiritual life of a man, being the main to determine the consciousness of a man. This constitutes the freshness of the work. | 4525 | Introduction. The article describes the semantic model of auditory perception of “irreality”, represented in the text of the novel by Victor Pelevin. Modeling of perception processes is one of the parameters of the artistic text considered in the analysis of its communicative and semantic structure. Images based on sensory sensations are a key component of the artistic picture of the author’s world. Material and methods. The study of the semantics of perceptivity on the material of postmodern texts is directly connected with the problem of “reality/irreality” of the described events, objects, phenomena in the artistic space of the text, which makes the research topic relevant, and includes the research in the scientific context. Results and discussion. The description of irreal events presupposes a change (deformation) of the invariant perception model, primarily related to the “strengthening” of the role of the object of perception. Particular attention is paid to the “mismatch” of the perceptual and mental modes. “Uncertainty”, “blurring”, “strangeness” of objects of perception, caused by the impossibility of visual activity and the altered state of the character’s consciousness, are actualized. Description of the unusual perceptual experience of characters indicates that in the situation of unavailability (absence) of the visual channel of perception, auditory perception allows to model a “picture” that exists only in the altered consciousness of one or another character of the narrative. Linguistic analysis of the fragments of the text showed that “irreality” becomes one of the objects of comprehension and creative reflection of the author of the novel. To represent the situation of unusual auditory perception, a wide range of language means is used (indefinite pronouns, comparative constructions, indefinitepersonal and impersonal one-member sentences, complex sentences with complement clauses and correspondences, etc.). In some cases, the subject of perception realizes that the events observed are of an irreal nature and tries to find their analogue in the familiar world (relying on their auditory sensations). This leads to the emergence of various analogies and comparisons in the text of the novel. The conclusion emphasizes that due to transpositional transfers (vision – hearing), the perceptual component is “strengthened” and the artistic space of the work is “expanded”. | 4545 | An important instrument of the increase of educational activity is its logistization. In the article we offer a logistic model, where an educational institution is considered as a micro-logistic system, and educational activity – as a set of various flows of useful resources, which interact, influence each other, depend upon the current market conditions and evolve, corresponding to the change of inner and outer conditions. Using the logistic approach, we bring out the research of structure of the basic element of the system – the flow of human resources. The flow is represented as a certain function, having two components: scalar W0– the concrete appearance of useful resources and vector 0 W (t,z) – the orientation of the flow in space (z) and time (t). Thus, the flow is W =W0 ⋅W0(t,z). The special attention is paid to the process of forming the human resources flow and to its providing components. We show that in an educational establishment the educational activity results the conversion of the input flow of human resources (claimers for getting some educational services) into the output flow (specialists of various levels). Besides, for stable functioning of the conversion process the educational establishment requires the following vector components: material, financial, informational, of power (energetic), of manpower (personnel) and of service. We work out the mathematical expressions, describing this process. They give us the opportunity to define the sources of expenses and to optimize the total costs in order to minimize them.
