The aim of the paper is to determine whether Russian Germans’ proper names preserve the ethno-cultural connotation. The work results have both linguistic and historical-cultural significance. The combination of different ways of studying proper nouns of Russian Germans – revealing the procedural linguistic knowledge of subjects and referring to their declarative knowledge of German language allows to recreate links of anthroponymic system of this ethnic community. Introduction. The issue of formation of humanitarian students’ cultural and leisure activities in the situation of integration and globalization of culture, transformation of public institutions, development of leisure industry, emergence of new forms of cultural and leisure self-organization is actualized. Material and methods. The results of interdisciplinary studies of the problem of open education are presented. The structural-functional model of open humanitarian education is characterized. The methods of modeling, pedagogical design, focus groups, interviewing, questionnaires, conversations and various diagnostic methods (Career Anchors, Value Orientations, Meaningful Life Orientations) were used. Results and discussion. The concept of cultural and leisure competence is interpreted as an integrative quality of an individual, manifested in its positive motivational value attitude to cultural and leisure activities, in the communicative and design skills of organizing cultural and leisure practices. The structure of the working concept is presented in the form of three components: value motivational, communicative and design. The content of the three stages of cultural and leisure competence formation is described: analytical (stage of immersion and meeting with cultural and leisure reality), technological-mastering various technologies of cultural and leisure activities with a predominance of communication samples in the framework of current actions and events; transformative stage is focused on gaining experience in transforming urban cultural and leisure reality. Conclusion. The final test to identify the dynamics in the levels of formation of cultural and leisure competence of humanitarian students showed that the greatest positive changes occurred in the communicative and design components.

Nikitina E.S. ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND TECHNOLOGY «STEP BY STEP» IN FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC THEORY AND PRACTICE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 1 (207). P. 16-23

Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of the actual problem of development of the International educational program “Step by Step”. The analysis of sociological, psychological, pedagogical, methodical works of famous domestic and foreign scientists and practitioners allowed to consider the historical and pedagogical aspects of the problem of development of this program, both abroad and in Russia and Kazakhstan. Material and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of use of theoretical and empirical methods, the main of which was the analysis of interaction of participants of educational process and research is based on the lessons of science and math in elementary school. This work was carried out in three stages. The first stage was to determine the main theoretical and methodological provisions for the problem, analyzed the degree of its study, defined the General provisions. The second stage was to identify the features of the application of “Step by Step” in the classroom model of primary school. The third stage was to analyze the effectiveness of children’s education using the technology “Step by Step”. Results and discussion. The comparative analysis allowed to consider the historical and pedagogical aspects of the problem of development of this program abroad, in Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as to justify the validity of the use of the term technology in relation to”Step by Step”. The presented analysis of the concepts “technology”, “educational technology”, “pedagogical technology” proves the possibility of using the term “technology” with respect to “Step by Step”. Much attention is paid to the problem of social competence of the modern primary school student and its development in primary school. Conclusion. Historical and pedagogical analysis of the development of “Step by Step” allows us to understand the essence and main idea of this technology. The goal of the educational process is the development of a child’s personality, its individuality, uniqueness, based on beliefs and faith, with the features of own “internal world model”, the structure of subjective experience, where the subject relations are based on the principles of individualization, cooperation, partnership and freedom of choice activities. The use of technology “Step by Step” increases the value of learning through a fundamentally new democratic approach that meets the standards of today and promotes dynamic cooperation of all parties to the educational process, during which there is an individual improvement.

Galkina T.V., Poleva E.A. Manuscripts by A. M. Volkov as keys to understanding the development of the author’s concept of the fairy tale “The Wizard of the Emerald City” // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 4 (234). P. 154-168

The article is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the publication of the first edition of A. M. Volkov’s fairy tale “The Wizard of the Emerald City” (1939). The work uses for the first time the handwritten collection of the children’s writer A.M. Volkov, stored at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Manuscripts allow one to penetrate into the writer’s workshop, to trace the formation and development of an idea and the course of the creative process. A comparison of the structure of chapters in the 1936 manuscript and the 1939 edition made it possible to identify changes made to the composition (deletion, introduction of new ones, merging chapters). In addition, the article provides fragments of manuscripts from 1936, with which A. Volkov planned to supplement the text, but did not include them in the printed version of 1939. Analysis of the drafts gave an idea of A. Volkov’s work with character names. It was important for the writer to find equivalents to the names in F. Baum’s fairy tale, so that they would be understandable to the Russian-speaking reader and optimally reveal the character’s image. The writer worked on the largest number of name options for Scarecrow. Of particular interest is the manuscript of fragments of A. M. Volkov’s play “Flight to Fairyland” based on “The Wizard of the Emerald City”. The manuscript is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time and commented on. The diary entries of A. Volkov and the unusual image of Goodwin in fragments of the play (a black slave Uncle Joe who escaped from an exploiter) indicate that the writer tried to submit to circumstances, adapt to the requirements of censorship, inscribing a fairy tale plot into the traditions of social literature of the late 19th – first half XX century. However, the incompleteness of the play’s concept can be explained by both external (the onset of the “thaw”) and internal (unwillingness to obey the political situation) reasons. The manuscript of “Flight to Fairytale Land” is published in full in this issue of the magazine.

Klimova M.N. THREE RUSSIAN VERSIONS OF THE “CAGLIOSTRO’S MYTH” (ALEXEY TOLSTOY, IVAN LUKASH, GRIGORY GORIN) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 11 (152). P. 72-77

Mysterious figure of the Enlightenment famous adventurer Count Cagliostro (real name Giuseppe Balsamo) left mark in European culture, and became the basis for the “Cagliostro’s myth”. Reflections of this myth in Russian literature usually assigned to Count Cagliostro’s visit to Russia (1780). The article examines three works of Russian literature of the XX century, which connected the image of Cagliostro with a fable about a sorcerer and an enchanted beauty. In Russian tradition of this plot, which started by Pushkin's “Poltava” and N. V. Gogol’s “A Terrible Vengeance”, the heroine for the soul of whom are fighting the forces of good and evil, often becomes the personification of Russia. Comparison of stories of A.N. Tolstoy and I. S. Lukash (both are named after the famous adventurer and written in exile) with “comic fantasy” of G. I. Gorin “Formula of Love” reveals the originality of authors’ interpretations of the fable and their continuity.

The MSSM with right-handed neutrino supermultiplets, gauged B−L symmetry and a non-vanishing sneutrino expectation value is the minimal theory that spontaneously breaks R-parity and is consistent with the bounds on proton stability and lepton number violation. This minimal B − L MSSM can have a colored/charged LSP, of which a stop LSP is the most amenable to observation at the LHC. We study the R-parity violating decays of a stop LSP into a bottom quark and charged leptons – the dominant modes for a generic “admixture” stop. A numerical analysis of the relative branching ratios of these decay channels is given using a wide scan over the parameter space. The fact that R-parity is violated in this theory by a vacuum expectation value of a sneutrino links these branching ratios directly to the neutrino mass hierarchy. It is shown how a discovery of bottom-charged lepton events at the LHC can potentially determine whether the neutrino masses are in a normal or inverted hierarchy, as well as determining the θ23 neutrino mixing angle. Finally, present LHC bounds on these leptoquark signatures are used to put lower bounds on the stop mass.

The use of the case-technologies in the study of discipline “Methods of teaching chemistry” has been studied in a competence-based approach in higher school. Definition of case-situations on methods of teaching chemistry, distinctive features of training and control cases have been proposed. Differences between these cases to the destination and purpose of use in the learning process, the nature of the questions and answers to them, the estimation, the use of additional information about your answers have been identified. Educational cases are designed to develop skills of students to solve the problems unconventionally, the answers to them require a search for additional information, these cases do not have a rigid system of evaluation. The control case studies provide unequivocal answers, different approaches to evaluation. When answering the questions to cases, the student uses only existing knowledge. The examples of case-situations on how to conduct laboratory work at school and the answers to them were given.

Makeyenkova T.V., Malinkina N.A. I AM WRITING AND CRYING: THE LINGUISTIC BASIS FOR THE FORMATION OF INOPHONES’ GRAMMATICAL SKILLS WHEN TEACHING VERBAL FORMS IN THE PRESENT TENSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 2 (199). P. 34-40

Introduction. The need for the formation of grammatical skills associated with the competent construction of statements, determines the communicative activity approach in teaching the Russian language as a foreign. In most cases, it is the predicate that constitutes the core of the minimal syntactic unit – a phrase, which in turn serves to build the basic communicative unit of speech ‒ the sentence. Therefore, the study of grammatical forms of the verb as a part of speech plays a very important role already at the initial stage of learning the Russian language as a foreign. The aim of the article is the systematization of theoretical information and patterns of the studied linguistic phenomenon and the creation of a system of exercises aimed at understanding the linguistic foundations and automating the skill of forming verb forms of the present tense category. Material and methods. The methodological basis of the work is the concept of intensive teaching of foreign languages, based on the communicative-activity approach and on the general didactic principles. The focus of the research is a comparative analysis of the ways of presenting theoretical and didactic material in the formation of grammatical skills at the initial stage of teaching Russian language as a foreign, as well as qualitative analysis of the results of pedagogical activity. Results and discussion. For the successful formation of the skill of using verbs in speech, not only minimal theoretical information about the distribution of this part of speech by conjugation type is necessary, but also familiarity with such a morphological phenomenon of the Russian language as historical alternations of final consonant sounds of root morphemes in the formation of personal verb forms in the present tense. Analysis of the research results shows that in the process of teaching the language, the most effective is the practical application of theoretical knowledge due to their conscious assimilation, which contributes to the development of a stable skill of reproducing the information laid on a conceptual basis, which is necessary for solving specific communicative tasks. The result of the study of this issue and pedagogical experience are summary tables that ensure the implementation of the general didactic principle of use of visual methods in studying new material and contribute to the systematization of theoretical knowledge, as well as specific exercises that can find practical application both in forming the ability to create a paradigm of the present, and in automating skills correct use in speech of verbal forms. Conclusion. One of the most pressing issues in Methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language is the formation of personal forms of verbs in the present tense. Thus, the system of linguistic and speech exercises, which is based on general didactic principles taking into account linguistic phenomena caused by the history of language development, and can be used at the initial stage of training, has a special practical significance.

Martseva T.A., Kobenko Y.V. The History of the English Language Origin as a Clue to Understanding its Current Status // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 4 (234). P. 75-83

The paper draws comparisons between the stages in the history of the English language developing in the multilingual environment and its status of a macromediator in the modern world. The research is based on two fundamental methods: the comparative historical method that assists in observing the development of English in the diachronic perspective and its co-existence with other languages in anisotropic linguistic situation of that time and the dialectical one directed at identifying such contradicting directions of the language system evolution as integration and disintegration, standardization and individualization, centrism and acentrism. The evolution of classifying English language origin (Teutonic group in the 17th and 18th centuries, Anglofrisian group in the 19th century and West Germanic group in the 20th century) is rooted in the changes of intralinguistic nature caused by a range of extralinguistic factors. On the one hand, island distribution of the language areal, hard accessibility of the territory, and therefore their isolation, and on the other hand, attractiveness of this land due to favorable conditions (mild climate, diverse landscape, rich flora and fauna), Christianization, active trade relationships leading to permanent polyglossia of linguistic environment (Celtic, Germanic, Scandinavian dialects, classical and vulgar Latin, various languages of Roman legionaries, French) were the reasons why the English language obtained and has maintained till the present time such peculiar distinctive properties as acentrism, high level of lexical mobility, substantial derivational potential, economy of linguistic means and rather free manipulations with language standards. The latter is also connected with long-term absence of the unified national, political and language center in Britain and mostly marginal usage of the language predominantly in the oral form. The authors also insist on the need to further look into the grammatical structure of the English language throughout its evolution in order to better understand the consequences of the polyglossian environment not only on its vocabulary but also the status constituent.
