Galtsova N.P. The View on Teaching the Foreign Languages from Neurolinguistic Positions. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2003. Issue 2 (34). P. 95-98

The paper touches upon the new problems in theory and practice of teaching the foreign languages in conformity with modern vital conditions. In such a context it is a matter of introducing a psychological component to the educational process to be aimed at optimization of foreign training at any stage of continuous education system as well as the improvement of communication teaching level. Application of up-to-date psychotechnologies in the process of foreign training seems to be within the capacity of the foreign lan¬guage teacher, as it does not require special psychothera-peutic knowledge. The present paper appears to be an ef¬fort to observe the opportunities of using neurolinguistics programming (NLP) strategics in practice of teaching the foreign languages at a non-linguistic higher educational in¬stitution which allow the teacher to reveal the students' style and apply the methods to be the most suitable for the present student or the given group. In this interpretation the NLP approach should be consid¬ered as one of the innovatory forms of educational and out-of-lecture teacher's activities within the bounds of possible spending of time, as a stimulus to the creative potential devel¬opment of students and, first of all, not as a principal method of teaching the foreign languages but as an additional technology to improve the foreign language educational process and make it more effective, easy and pleasurable for mastering.

Garattini R. Casimir energy and the cosmologicai constant. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2004. Issue 7 (44). P. 72-80

We regard the Wheeier-De Witt equation as a Sturm-Liouville problem with the cosmologicai constant considered as the associated eigenvalue. The used method to study such a problem is a variational approach with Gaussian trial wave functionate. We approximate the equation to one loop in a Schwarzschild background. A zeta function reguiarization is involved to handle with divergences. The reguiarization is closely related to the subtraction procedure appearing in the computation of Casimir energy in a curved background. A renormallzation procedure is introduced to remove the infinities together with a renormalization group equation.

It is established that in these normative documents and training materials the importance and difficulty of this subject isn't considered, there is no clear and simple explanation of this theme, it isn't enough exercises focused on fixing and control of its digestion. The complexity of the verbal category of conjugation doesn’t promote learning by students complete and consistent idea of conjugation system of the Russian verbs therefore authors of the article unite methods of reproductive and productive approach to studying of a subject and suggest foreign students to remember the facilitated model of system of conjugation in classes and groups with obligatory memorization of some difficult verbs. Kozlova I.E., Grebenkina I.N. FIGURATIVE EXPRESSIONS DENOMINATING “BREAD” IN THE FRENCH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES (LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL AND DISCURSIVE ASPECTS). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 6 (183). P. 107-111

The paper analyses figurative expressions with the denomination “bread” in the French and Russian languages. Figurative expressions of a language serve as an important source for getting information about national world perception because they reflect the spiritual and material culture in the language. The choice for figurative expressions with the components representing food is explained by the fact that food is one of the most vivid elements of national culture which is connected with the native speakers’ understanding of their national specificity. Although the French and Russian cuisines have distinctive features, four products are archetypically significant for both cultures: bread, butter, milk and honey. Their denominations in both languages are very widely represented in figurative expressions. The image of bread is the most significant one in the French and Russian cultures; figurative expressions with this component in both languages are based on the archetype of bread as the symbol of life, well-being and wealth. We believe that for assessing the potential of a figurative expression of a language it is necessary to combine the linguoculturological analysis with the analysis of discursive realization of a studied linguistic unit in different types of discourse. Thus the French figural expression “avoir du pain sur la planche” was analyzed both linguoculturologically and discursively in three meanings. The results have shown that this expression is widely used in different types of modern discourse only in one of its meanings. The results prove that discursive realization is the key element for studying figurative expressions and it should become the key component for complex investigation of the figurative layer of a language.

The paper refers to the sphere of German studies, which is devoted to the language and culture of Russian Germans. The relevance of research topic is dictated by 1) urgent tasks of fixing, preserving and studying language and culture of Russian Germans as minority entities; 2) need to understand the linguo-cultural problems related to ethnoses and ethnic groups, with the use of still unused empirical materials, as well as testimony of metalanguage consciousness; 3) need for a detailed study of the nominal system of Russian Germans. The work was written due to the results of a fulltime audience survey of Russian Germans now living in Tomsk. It analyzes the names and demonstrations of metalanguage consciousness of representatives of this diasporic group. The names and demonstrations are represented in relation to proper names, which have German “color”. The aim of the paper is to determine whether Russian Germans’ proper names preserve the ethno-cultural connotation. The work results have both linguistic and historical-cultural significance. The combination of different ways of studying proper nouns of Russian Germans – revealing the procedural linguistic knowledge of subjects and referring to their declarative knowledge of German language allows to recreate links of anthroponymic system of this ethnic community. New lexical units, which clarify the notion of peculiarities of marks of Russian Germans are introduced into scientific usage. They can be used to compile anthroponymic dictionaries, a database of dying cultures.

The aim of work is to know how the project activity development dynamics of first-year students of psychological and pedagogical departments could be arranged and prove suggestions of project activity development levels: reproductive, productive, constructive. Based on the previous research and experience of working with future teachers, we suggest a hypothesis that in order to organize learning academic activity of children, a student needs to discover his/her own logic of pedagogical project, which, besides the commonly known project stages of idea – implementation – result also includes discovery of pedagogical principles as the main essence of professional knowledge instead of using a ready pattern. The content analysis method was used which collect data associates with the student’s ability to project activities. The work describes the results of the experiment in which participated 76 first-year students of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Siberian Federal University”, including 52 students from two experimental groups of psycho-pedagogical direction and 24 students from the control group of pedagogical direction of training. The results show that the progress in project activity development of experimental group students differs significantly from the progress in project activity development of control group students. Therefore, it is only the focused work of the teacher intended to develop and implement the pedagogical project ideas, based on the open search dialogue activity principles discovered and formulated by students, that brings them to such results as early as during the first year of studies.
