Kislyakova M.A. METHOD OF REFLEXIVE LEARNING TO SOLVE MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 6 (212). P. 92-98

Introduction. The method of teaching mathematics has a long history, which reflects all the success of teachers in creating a system of mathematical education both in Russia and in the world. Despite the fact that this system has been functioning for a long time and has produced outstanding results, mathematical subjects are currently the most difficult subjects for students both at school and at University. This leads to the fact that there are extreme points of view calling for the exclusion of the subject «Mathematics» from school and University courses due to its difficulty and low student performance. The solution to this problem in the modern world can be the use of psychologically-oriented learning concepts, one of which is the theory of reflexive learning. This article presents one of the aspects of applying this theory to the practice of mathematical education, namely reflexive learning to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for teaching a «generalized algorithm» for solving mathematical problems based on stimulating reflexive mechanisms of activity. Materials and methods. The research material is the work of domestic and foreign authors devoted to the problems of teaching methods for solving problems and the psychology of reflexive learning. Their ideas allowed us to apply the theory of reflexive learning to teaching students to consciously regulate their own mathematical activities. Reflexive skills are the basis of the ability to intellectual self-regulation, and, consequently, a condition for productive intellectual mathematical activity. Results and discussion. The authors see the possibility of stimulating students’ cognitive activity based on reflection of their thought processes as one of the ways to solve psychological and methodological difficulties in learning to solve mathematical problems. The method of teaching problem solving involves teaching students to consciously perform four main stages. Formation of skills to analyze the problem, the solution to this problem, proper design of the idea of solving the problem and verifying the implemented solution is based on the mental experience of the student with the use of reflective learning strategies. Conclusion. As a result of reflexive learning to solve mathematical problems, students will develop a «generalized ability» to solve mathematical problems.

Karimova R.K., Khabibullina O.A. STRUCTURAL AND SEMANTIC FEATURES OF COMPOUND WORDS WITH THE KATZE COMPONENT IN GERMAN LANGUAGE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 1 (213). P. 35-42

Introduction. The article deals with the German compound nouns with the Katze / Kater component as well as adjectives and verbs with the component, a large number of which confirm the productivity of the German word composition. The purpose of the study was to determine the peculiarities of the semantics of the zoonym Katze in the composition of compound words, to identify the structural composition and thematic groups of compound words with the named component, which also gives an idea of the derivational features of the language. Material and methods. It is necessary to classify the vocabulary composition of the language to facilitate the study of it. The zoonym Katze / Kater is the center of meaning of the thematic groups of compound words studied by us. To confirm the undeniable productivity of word composition in the German language, there were selected 172 compound nouns with the Katze component and seven lexical units with the Kater component as material, this component is a definitive word of the 152 words where together with the 20 words with this component is viewed as a defining word. In addition to this group of words, adjectives with the indicated component (17 words) and 3 verbs are studied. Metaphorical and metonymic transfer are the nominal features of the studied compound words; the main feature of such names is their semantic bi-planarity, i.e. «Game» of figurative and literal meanings of the word. Results and discussion. The article shows how active the Katze / Kater is as a component of German compound words. According to their structure, the lexemes selected for the study can be divided into 7 thematic groups, and into 9 according to their meaning. The theoretical significance is determined by the results of solving the problem. The research contributes to the development of the theory of word formation and semantics. The practical value of the research is determined by the possibility of using the research results in the development of lecture courses and seminars on Lexicology and History of the German language, Translation theory. Conclusion. Thus, the results of the study confirmed the authors’ assumption that thematic groups of compound words with the Katze / Kater component express a direct relationship to extralinguistic reality.

The purpose of the study was to identify the reception of the personality and work of the great Russian writer by the Siberian educated society and an understanding of his role in the spiritual life of Siberia and Russia. Material and methods. In the course of its implementation, a system of methods was used: biographical, historicalliterary, historical-functional, cultural-historical and comparative-typological. Results and discussion. Turgenev turned out to be a significant figure for the cultural life of Siberia. His works were sold in bookstores in Tomsk, Omsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, and were in many libraries in Siberia. With the appearance of the first Siberian newspapers, reviews and materials about the work and events of the life of the Russian writer were printed on their pages. Most often his name was found on the pages of the «Siberian newspaper». The love story of S. S. Sinegub was known among the populist revolutionaries. She found, in the opinion of the author of the article, its reflection in the development of the love affair of Nezhdanov, Marianna and Solomin (novel «Nov»). The secret editor of the newspaper was F. V. Volkhovsky, a political exile, tried in the socalled «trial of the 193s» in 1877 y. Turgenev was not personally acquainted with Volkhovsky, but actively communicated with G. A. Lopatin, his friend and associate in political activities, and together with him founded the Russian Public Library in Paris. Particular attention in the article is paid to the analysis of materials about Turgenev on the pages of Irkutsk and Tomsk periodicals: these are reprints and comments and articles of central newspapers about the works of Turgenev, their own reviews and reviews of the writer of Siberian writers. Some of them – N. I. Naumov, I. V. Omulevsky (and, possibly, N. M. Yadrintsev) – were personally acquainted with him and were present at Turgenev’s meetings with the editors of the magazine «Slovo» and «Russkoe Bogatstvo». It was in the March issue of the radical magazine «Slovo» in 1881 that Turgenev’s famous poem «Croquet in Windsor» (1876) was first published in Russia. Conclusion. The Siberian public closely followed the work of Turgenev, information about his illness was published in Siberian newspapers. After his death, it was reported about memorial services, which took place in a number of Siberian cities. The author of the article reviewed obituaries and posthumous articles about Turgenev, talentedly written by the editors of «Vostochny Obozreniye» and «Sibirskaya Gazeta». They noted the great importance of the work of the outstanding Russian writer and his social activities for the formation of civic consciousness of Siberians.

Slepneva M.A. Modular foreign language teaching system for three-level technical specialists training. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 5 (235). P. 77-89

Professionally-oriented foreign language training at a university under modern economic, social and geopolitical terms of society development should provide a high level of graduates’ knowledge, skills and abilities in highly specialized areas that form the basis of training and form their readiness to perform professional communication with foreign colleagues when solving practical, theoretical and research tasks. This training should also promote their further self-development, self-education and professional growth. Thus, learning a foreign language could help to perform two main functions in the young specialist’s professional activity: to be a communication tool (in oral and written form) and to become a means of improving one’s professional level. Taking into account the Federal State Educational Standard, the process of foreign language learning in a technical university is aimed at the formation of communicative competencies – the ability to logically correctly and clearly build oral and written speech, make public speeches, conduct reasoned discussion and at the formation of professional competencies – analyze, summarize and perceive information, write scientific texts in their professional field. Higher school teachers are faced with the task of developing these competencies in conditions of insufficient hours given to humanities and a low level of foreign language knowledge among applicants. In particular, a modular system with a flexible approach to the educational process allows you to create pedagogical conditions for the implementation of goals and objectives at different stages of learning. The work was carried out on the basis of the leading technical university of the country. The pedagogical model was updated: the course content for three stages of training (bachelor’s, master’s, postgraduate) was developed, goals and objectives were defined, methodological support was written, exercise books (paper and digital) for each level of training were published, independent educational and cognitive activities of students were organized. The educational process in universities should create conditions in which the student will see his own growth and achievements, will be able to conduct self-analysis and evaluate the results of his activities. The modular approach provides freedom for both teachers and students in filling individual modules with interesting material, choosing a learning path, space for independent work and creative self-realization.

Makusheva Z.N. FEATURES OF UPDATING OF THE AUTHOR’S POSITION IN THE ACADEMIC MEDICAL DISCOURSE (BASED ON PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN ENGLISH). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 6 (171). P. 76-80

The research project deals with the analysis and description of the features of the author’s text of the academic medical discourse in English language. In relation to our research “components” of the above text are those language units which on the semantics and the form “… carry out in texts both esthetic, and stylistic functions” and represent “the description of the numerous stating life facts – death, health – illness, incurability reasons – curability”. The mentioned criteria in components of texts of the academic medical discourse are described through an explication of components of the evaluation which basis is made by the author’s reasonings giving “an idea of the text as about uniform semantic space” and leading to the conclusions predicted at the beginning of the text. In this paper research is conducted on the material of contexts of the American medical association journal and New England medical journal. Therefore, the analysis of the examples of the author’s texts of the academic medical discourse representing different linguocultural spaces is given. As a result phraseological units according to their semantics and form are considered as a means of updating the author’s position in the scientific medical discourse.

Ivanchenko S.A. On Some Features of M. A. Voloshin’s Color Picture of the World and the Means of its Verbalization. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 1 (225). P. 95-102

M. Voloshin’s special interest in color naming is caused both by the peculiarity of the era (Silver Age), and his passion not only for the poetic word, but also, equally, for fine art. The color picture of the world of M. Voloshin’s poems is distinguished by a variety of colors that convey shades of one color or another, and the unusualness of the created color images, in which the features of the author’s perception of the world are revealed. The article presents data on the study of the semantics and symbolic meaning of frequency colors found in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin, data on the analysis of individual poems containing color symbolism in order to determine the meaning of color painting for understanding the poet’s worldview and the features of his creative manner. In the course of the study, methods of semantic-stylistic, contextological, and motive analysis were used, which make it possible to reveal the features of the embodiment and the meaning of M. Voloshin’s color picture of the world. The variety of color embodiment of the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin is associated with the peculiarity of the worldview of Voloshin the artist, who gave himself the attitude “to absorb all forms, all colors into oneself with the eyes”. In addition, the poet’s passion for Symbolist and Impressionist teachings influenced the multicoloredness of his poetry. Color painting, being one of the main means of expressing the author’s intentions, helps to convey the subtlest color shades and the symbolism of the feelings of the lyrical hero. The most frequent colors used by M. Voloshin: red in its many variations, gold, gray, purple – often contain metaphysical symbolism. To convey color, M. Voloshin also uses lexemes denoting plants (flowers), as well as mineralogical designations. The study of M. Voloshin’s lyrical tests for the use of color in them led to the conclusion that the color picture of the poet’s world is rich and diverse incarnations: colorful epithets, unusual metaphors, comparisons, synesthetic images, mineralogical designations – an incomplete list of the means and techniques used by the author. The significance of the conducted research lies in the reflection of the author’s worldview through the comprehension of the symbolic meanings of the image embedded in the color names.

Makarova V.A., Astakhova L.G. Inclusive educational environment of the university as a necessary condition for successful socialization of students with disabilities. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 2 (232). P. 54-63

Obtaining higher education is an important stage of human socialization. The aim of universities is to create such an educational environment that will allow all students, regardless of their educational needs and individual capabilities, to successfully solve the tasks of the corresponding stage of socialization. Equal access to education for all students, regardless of their diverse special educational needs and individual capabilities, including students with disabilities and disabilities, is designed to ensure inclusive education. Currently, higher education at Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is received by persons 17 years and older, among whom there are students with disabilities, gifted students, representatives of different nationalities, cultures, countries and confessions, students from large and small cities of the world, near and remote settlements. All this actualizes the problem of creating an optimal inclusive educational environment at the university. Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is actively working to create an inclusive educational environment, which is designed to promote the successful socialization of all students studying at the university. Inclusive educational environment is considered by us as a set of resources (means, external and internal conditions) that ensure the realization of the right of every person to education, including training, upbringing and personal development, and is designed on the basis of such principles as safety, saturation, accessibility, etc. The structure of the inclusive educational environment of Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University includes spatial-subject, organizational, technological, informational and social components. Each component has its own content. A special place in this structure is assigned to the Center for Inclusive Education. The Center for Inclusive Education, created at the University and designed to provide horizontal links between departments in matters of inclusive education, helps to eliminate inconsistencies in the actions of departments at the same level of hierarchy, which is generated by the strict hierarchy of the university’s Management model. The creation of an inclusive educational environment of the University is carried out in various directions, among which it is possible to highlight the improvement of the local regulatory framework, material and technical equipment, scientific, informational and personnel support for inclusive education, increasing the architectural accessibility of the university infrastructure facilities for students with disabilities, improving the quality of education received by students with disabilities. Modeling of the inclusive educational environment of the university is carried out by all participants of the educational process: administrative staff, teaching staff and students themselves, with the active participation of public organizations. Systematic monitoring of difficulties encountered by students, including students with disabilities in the process of admission and study at the University, allows you to determine the steps to overcome them. Currently, work continues to improve the inclusive educational environment of the university.

Pálušová M. NIKOLAI ERDMAN: CZECH TRANSLATIONS AND STAGE INTERPRETATIONS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 3 (215). P. 155-163

Introduction. This paper aims to present the perception of Nikolai Erdman and his plays in the former Czechoslovakia and the modern Czech Republic. The article primarily focuses on the interpretation of Erdman’s plays in Czech translations and on Czech stages. Materials and methods. The research was based on the study of archival sources, such as programs for theatre productions, recordings of performances, critical responses in periodicals, translators’ diaries and memoirs, as well as post-1989 publications on the small theatre movement, etc. Theatre productions and their reception by the public and professional critics were analysed. The materials were also subjected to translational analysis. Results and discussion. Erdman’s satirical comedy The Suicide has been translated into Czech twice by renowned Czech translators Jan Zábrana (1967) and Alena Morávková (1985). In 1971, The Mandate was staged at the satirical theatre Večerní Brno (Evening Brno), which was the first production of Erdman’s plays in the former Czechoslovakia. The Suicide was staged in 1987. The publication of the Czech translation of The Suicide created by Alena Morávková in 1985 was three years ahead of the Soviet publication of the original play. The paper also reflects significant productions of Erdman’s plays at the E. F. Burian Theatre or Studio Ypsilon. Modern Czech stage productions of The Mandate (last performed in 2009) and, first of all, The Suicide (last performed in 2019) are also reflected in the paper. Conclusion. An analysis of the plays’ translations and stage versions proves that even eighty years after their creation, the satirical works of Nikolai Erdman are still relevant thanks to their deep humanistic and philosophical content that resonates with the modern audience. Both before and after 1989, Erdman’s plays were staged in so-called small (studio) theatres. Even today, the interest to Erdman’s plays arises in small theatres, student companies and amateur theatres. However, the themes that Czech directors emphasize in their contemporary productions are fundamentally different from what was targeted before the Velvet revolution.

This paper examines the image of a drinking man in the artistic picture of the world by Sergey Dovlatov, compared to the national picture of the world. The goal is to discuss the similarities and differences in the attitude towards a drinking person, the key characteristics of a drinking person in the national and artistic picture of the world. We perform this study on the materials of the Russian Associative Dictionary (with the use of phraseology materials) and the texts by Sergey Dovlatov (using the National Corpus of the Russian language). We employ the methods of contextual analysis and of studying the national and artistic picture of the world. In both pictures of the world there is sympathy and an idea of the “fate” of a drinking person. The bearers of the negative assessment prevailing in the national picture of the world, in the texts by Sergey Dovlatov, are individual characters who are not “positive”, non-drinking characters seem to be something amazing, mysterious. We characterize the description of the effect of alcohol on a person and the surrounding world in the works Sergey Dovlatov. We counted the episodes of alcohol consumption and the number of characters involved in them in the works of S. D. Dovlatov to prove the importance of the image of people drinking. Sergey Dovlatov gives drunkards positive qualities (inner freedom, talent, contempt for material values). Alcohol “colors” the world in pink tones and helps the heroes to live.

We derive the minisuperspace (discrete) Faddeev action by evaluating the Faddeev action on the spacetime composed of the (flat) 4-simplices with constant 4-vector fields. This is an analog of the Regge action obtained by evaluating the Hilbert-Einstein action on the spacetime composed of the flat 4-simplices. One of the new features of this formulation is that the simplices are not required to coincide on their common faces. Also an analog of the Barbero-Immirzi parameter γ can be introduced in this formalism.

Skripuchiy D.V. FAILURES IN PLANNING AT THE TRANS-BAIKAL RAILAWAY ON THE EXAMPLE OF HISTORY OF THE NARROW-GAUGE LINE HARANOR – PRIARGUNSK (1949–1972). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 5 (170). P. 159-166

The article deals with the set of mistakes in the planning of work at the narrow-gauge railroad Haranor – Priargunsk in Chita region. Firstly, it studies archival materials to confirm the unprofitability and problematic exploitation of this line. Numerous doubts about the future of the line point out at difficulties of its sustainable development during post-war era. Despite the miscalculations, planning authorities considered the ways to extend the railroad. It also summarizes the basic weakness of narrow-gauge property, which didn’t allow the road to last. The inadequate departmental coordination encouraged the failures in the planning.
