Pats’orka E.I., Koshechko A.N. F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY AND L. N. TOLSTOY: EXPERIENCE OF THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PEDAGOGICAL IDEAS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 6 (203). P. 28-37

Introduction. F. M. Dostoyevsky and L. N. Tolstoy’s views are often opposed to each other not so much owing to their multi-vector orientation how many on the religious and philosophical bases. But, in particular, their pedagogical views have more common ground, than it admits research works today, owing to lack of the reconstructed educational model belonging to F. M. Dostoyevsky. The purpose of the work is identification and analysis of the main dominants of pedagogical views of F. M. Dostoyevsky and L. N. Tolstoy by means of the comparative analysis. Material and methods. Among the methods of the study are: comparative, analytical-descriptive and biographical. Results and discussion. The conducted research allowed to reveal the fundamental idea of writers connected with the statement of the ideal and harmonious nature of the child, therefore, the paramount problem of education is represented not to destroy this personal kernel. Neither Dostoevsky nor Tolstoy perceives the formation of a personality structure as a self-sufficient and closed process. The internal potential of the child is realized through relationship with the outside world in situations of value choice which are shown at three levels: family, religion, society. The designated elements have different hierarchical interrelation in a pedagogical thought of writers. But the hierarchical structure which is based on these educational dominants is a fundamental element of an individual pedagogical system undergoing this personal reconsideration. Conclusion. Having carried out the comparative analysis of pedagogical concepts of education of Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy it is possible to note that views of writers, on the one hand, proceed from the principles of love, indisputable influence of “fathers” , belief in an ideal of terrestrial improvement of human nature, national values as indispensable condition for the formation of personality, and on the other hand, have the certain distinctions embodied in the forms of achievement of a pedagogical ideal, the unrepugnant child of natural harmony. The pedagogical ideas of two outstanding writers of the 19th century are a resource for the implementation of the content of education of the 2010s, in which, firstly, a person is proclaimed the supreme value; secondly, all principles and methods of education are aimed at the formation of a spiritual and moral personality by focusing on the activation of its creative activity, self-development, self-improvement; thirdly, the right of the child to individuality is recognized. This determines the practical significance of the article.

Bagiyan A.Y., Monogarova A.G. LINGUISTIC-AXIOLOGICAL MANIPULATION AS AN ELEMENT OF TEACHER PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY FORMATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 1 (219). P. 43-53

Introduction. Professional identity formation of the future specialist is one of the most relevant topics of the whole range of humanitarian studies. However, to date, there is a limited number of works that directly provide theoretically sound practical recommendations on the features of shaping professional identity. We believe that this process should be accompanied by serious linguistic studies, especially when it comes to the formation of a foreign-language professional identity of a teacher of foreign languages and cultures. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the work is to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the modern pedagogical discursive space and, subsequently, to identify the correlation dependence of linguistic-axiological manipulation and the process of forming the foreign-language professional identity of the future teacher. The main tasks of the study are forming the texts corpus; carrying out of pragmatic and content analysis of selected texts; identifying discursive and axiological components of fragments of pedagogical discourse to adequately construct the axiological sphere of discourse; determining the level of manipulative impact on the addressee by updating the identified elements of the axiological sphere of the studied discursive space; synthesizing the obtained data and determining the features of selfidentification of the teacher’s personality when they perceive value-loaded texts through the corresponding suggestive effect. Material and methods. The study was based on 15 written texts of pedagogical discourse compiled by professionals for English teachers and belonging to a specific structural part of the book – “Introduction”. A comprehensive method of data analysis is used, combining the method of discourse analysis, the method of conceptual analysis, the method of pragmalinguistic analysis, as well as the method of quantitative processing of the obtained data. Results and discussion. In connection with the multidimensional nature of the study, a detailed literary review is given, including the analysis of the topics of the teacher’s professional identity, the linguistic-axiological factor of the identity formation and the linguistic content of productive speech manipulation. A comprehensive pragma-axiological study revealed 5 basic axiological concepts that form the axiological conceptual sphere of the educational discourse under study: DEVELOPMENT, ENJOYMENT, NOVELTY, EFFECTIVENESS, READINESS, verbalization of each of which is a way of productive manipulation of the potential addressee’s consciousness. Manipulation is carried out at the expense of a certain functional range of lexical units-verbalizers of these concepts. The obtained results make it possible to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the considered pedagogical discursive space, as well as to identify the correlation dependence of the functional range of pragma-axiologically charged lexical units-verbalizers with manipulative effect on a potential addressee. Conclusion. Also, for further study of the presented topics, the hypothesis of cultural manipulation is put forward, according to which the axiological pedagogical guidelines available in the Anglo-Saxon tradition determine the model of behavior of teachers belonging to other cultural and ethnic substrates, but studying according to their methodology.

The article reflects the results of studies of emotional intelligence (EI), coping strategies and behavior patterns of students of secondary school aged 14–15. The highest prevalence is low emotional intelligence – 51.4 % of respondents, and only 6.7 % of students – high. There is the relationship between the components of EI and the patterns of impaired functioning. Low level of empathy increases the likelihood of social problems. The higher is the level of emotional intelligence and its indicators, the lower is the risk of manifestations and problems in emotional and behavioral areas. Highlight the links between the applied coping strategies and components of EI. Students with high and average EI increasingly choose adaptive coping mechanisms, in contrast to the group with low levels of EI, using increasingly less effective strategy. The lower is the level of EI, the less frequently are used coping strategies in a stressful situation, both adaptive and non-adaptive, and consequently, the higher is the risk / manifestations of behavioral and emotional problems.

Introduction. The concept of a toponym as a marker of the geographical space and the role of toponymy in the scientific system are revealed. The role of the toponym included as a component of the phraseological unit and the cultural value of these idioms are determined. The relevance of the research, its purpose and novelty are substantiated. Material and methods. The research material is the phraseological units of the modern English language with a toponym as a component (213 units). The methods of the study are the statistical method and the method of the linguacultural analysis. Results and discussion. Toponymic phraseological units reflect and verbalize the various segments of the objective reality including the material and spiritual world of a personality. Toponymic phraseological units reveal a person’s attitude to the reality surrounding him/her, a person’s attitude to the people near him/her and the attitude to self. They also analyze the external and internal aspects of the personality, focusing the view on the appearance of a man or woman, on his/her voice, on gait, on mental state of mind, on the moral qualities and the character of a personality. The image of a personality creating by phraseological units can be positive or negative one. Conclusion. Any toponym (especially if it belongs to the “native” culture) has a national identity. Bolotnov A.V. THE THEME OF LITERARY CREATIVE WORK IN A BLOG AND INTERVIEW OF LANGUAGE PERSONALITY OF SYNCRETIC TYPE AS ITS IDIOSTYLE REFLECTION (BASED ON THE MEDIA DISCOURSE BY B. AKUNIN). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 6 (218). P. 17-26

Introduction. Media discourse of public informational and media language personalities is one of topic object of research in up-to-date Russian studies in connection with the active role of information and communication technologies in modern society and the new cognitive and discursive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. Of particular interest are linguistic personalities of the syncretic type, combining several types of activities at once, performing different roles (social, professional, communicative, etc.). Boris Akunin (Grigory Chkhartishvili) belongs to this type of person. The aim of the article is to research the reflection of literary creative work the theme in media discourse of a famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type, to examine and describe his conception of literary creation’s specificity in the aspect of the author’s idiostyle. Material and methods. The author’s blogs of 2020 and interviews with his participation in 2015–2021 were taken as the research material. To study the idiostyle features of an information and media language personality and its ideas about literary creation, a complex methodology for analyzing the general idiostyle was used, developed in communicative stylistics, including consideration of 3 personality styles: cultural speech, cognitive and communicative. The methods of discursive, semantic-stylistic and contextual analysis were used. Results and discussion. The study showed that the theme of literary creation, which is a key theme for the writer and blogger Boris Akunin, has received a special embodiment, taking into account his creative personality. In blogs and interviews, both general ideas about creativity and a special author’s view of the literary process are reflected. For Boris Akunin, creativity presupposes: the continuity of the literary process, in which the author is included; freedom in choosing genres, themes, style; play as an element of creativity; intrigue as a stimulus for interest in life and creativity; development, lack of routine and monotony. Creativity is viewed by the writer as something that helps to understand modern life. The cultural and speech style of a language personality, reflected in the media discourse, allows us to speak of Akunin as a bearer of an elite type of speech culture, judging by the use of various stylistic techniques and expressive means, along with the use of both literary and (less often) colloquial vocabulary. Analysis of the reflection of literary creativity’s theme in the media discourse of personality demonstrates the combination of rationalistic and metaphorical substyles of cognitive style typical for a writer and blogger. This can be judged by the author’s admissions in his blogs, and by the answers to questions regarding creativity in an interview with his participation. The communicative style of Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type is characterized by the skillful use of communicative strategies to attract attention, cooperation, and encouragement to dialogue. Taking into account the addressee’s factor and changes in the dialogue with him in connection with new information technologies characterizes the writer and blogger as a modern person, who is constantly ready for changes. Conclusion. The study of the specificity of literary creativity theme in the media discourse of the famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type showed not only a certain variation in his idiostyle, but also the commonality of his speech, communicative and cognitive manifestations in the genres of blog and interview. The analysis of the author’s media discourse allowed to reveal some of the features of his creative laboratory, to identify the goals and motives of literary activity. Obtained observations are of interest for the theory of speech communication and stylistics.

Wild type Ler and a mutant hy4, having infringement in synthesis cry1. Light adaptation of plants to their irradiation UV light is shown at the initial stage of the ontogenesis through synthesis and accumulation of ascorbic acid, change of dynamics of level of photosynthetic pigments. It is reflected in inhibition reactions of grows, in the slowed down development of reproductive bodies of plants and in lengthening of terms of vegetation. Among plants Ler these processes lead to decrease in real seed efficiency, among plants hy4, having infringements in synthesis cry1, changes is not revealed. The assumption is made, that the basic role in the course of adaptation to action of UV radiation of low intensity carry out not only photosynthetic pigments, but photoregulation pigments.

The concept of “the social potential of the youth” is seen as a set of interrelated characteristics, reflecting its personal creative social resources that this social group and each individual strives to develop and realize in social practice to translate it in humanistic values and ideals. The social potential of the youth includes the willingness of young people to fulfill social roles and functions, the social and cultural experience of social groups and of each individual, his social competence, the need and readiness for self-realization in social practice, initiative, responsibility, citizenship, moral ideals and values, social subjectivity. Among them, 62,3 % of townsmen and 37,7 % of villagers. An increase in the number of invalids of 1 and 2 groups is indicative of the worsening of the population health. The main reason of the disability is the group “systemic disease”. The cardiovascular diseases take first place, cancer diseases take second place, trauma and poisoning consequences take third place, diseases of bones and muscles take fourth place, and tuberculosis takes fifth place. The level of the children disability is increased by 24,6 %. The congenital anomalies take first place in the city, whereas the children mental disorders are in the lead in the village.

Tolmacheva G.S. Functioning of comparative adverbs (the study of statements with military adverbials). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 4 (228). P. 60-67

The study is carried out within the framework of functional grammar and is aimed at studying Russian comparative-assimilative adverbs of military themes. The aim of the work is to conduct a comprehensive study of the functioning of comparative-assimilative adverbs of military themes taking into account explicit and implicit semantic features, to determine the composition of this thematic group and to identify word-formation features and types of combinability. The research is based on the works of Russian linguists treating comparative adverbs from different points of view and applying different scientific approaches, as well as on the works of linguists studying lexical-semantic groups of words of the “war” thematic group. The illustrative material was taken from statements from the National Corpus of the Russian language and from a free selection from the Internet. The work was carried out within the framework of A.V. Bondarko’s theory of categorical situations of functional grammar, and elements of contextual and component analysis were also applied. During the research, the composition of this group of adverbs was distributed into semantic subgroups describing the behaviour of persons belonging to different types and divisions of troops, conditions of military service, military ranks and positions. In dividing into word-formation types, a special type with a qualitative-substantive connotation was distinguished, with the meaning of places of location and dislocation of military operations. The division of military adverbs into compatibility types was carried out taking into account the connective, adversative, qualifying and explanatory relations with the main word and as the result both general (according to appearance and speech, character and behaviour, situation and living conditions) and individual semes were identified. As a result of the study, it was found that to represent the behaviour of persons, objects and phenomena of military subjects, comparative-suggestive adverbs actualize in the minds of native speakers either a well-known image in the form of background knowledge, or one of the nuclear or peripheral features.
