| 6057 | The present article shows a lesson plan of an extra-curricular lesson for kindergarten children which was distinguished in the category „Teaching materials” in the International Competition for Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language organised by Tomsk State Pedagogical University and the Polish-Russian Institute in Wroclaw (Poland). The main theme of the lesson is based on the topic: “Understanding Masha. Speaking humorously, nicely and interestingly about the Russian language and culture.” The lesson is to be organised as a non-obligatory workshop. The lesson plan contains objectives and tasks characteristic of a workshop, of which the most important ones consist in popularising the Russian language and culture, encouraging children to adopt an open attitude towards cultural otherness as well as making them understand and show tolerance towards another culture. The lesson plan enumerates and describes teaching and learning methods to be used during classes. Special attention is paid to the selection process of rhymes and songs for children to learn. It is proposed to choose texts which contain words similar to those in the native tongue. Repeating such words is fun for children and it gives them a sense of achievement. The lesson plan determines also the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the workshop. During the classes children do not only learn Russian words and find out about their geographical neighbour’s culture, but they also learn: working in groups (depending on the age colouring matrioshkas, making greeting cards with a picture of matrioshka, doing a puzzle with a picture of balalaika or samowar), learning behavioural patterns and values through play. This kind of extra-curricular classes constitutes a really absorbing way of popularizing the Russian language among children, but it also provides good practice for students (future teachers) who take part in preparing the event and can engage in organising a really interesting undertaking. | 6059 | The article presents one of the marginal genres of engineering discourse, the Missing Manual, in the aspect of its metaphorical organization. The results of the analysis have shown that a set of metaphors can be identified in the Missing Manual, namely: the anthropomorphic metaphors that are connected with the anthropocentric paradigm; time and space metaphors that are identified on the basis of semantic features as the humans and everything that surrounds them cannot exist outside of temporal and spatial coordinates; conceptual metaphors that are considered as theoretical constructs that differ in degree of abstraction. The special attention in the article is devoted to the anthropomorphic metaphors which represent various devices as possessing physical and mental abilities, personal attributes, parts of the body, etc. By the example of the Missing Manual it has been demonstrated that the necessity and importance of metaphors in the given text-type depend on two factors: pragmatic goal and functional stylistic status of the Missing Manual. The authors conclude that metaphors in the discussed genre perform two core functions, i.e. the function of gaining consumers’ affection and the function of exerting control over the formation of consumers’ notion of some devices which can have an impact on their decision-making. | 6062 | On the basis of the works of domestic philosophers, sociologists, teachers, culturologists, the concept of «ethnocultural identity» is considered and the relevance of the study is substantiated. Experimental work on the formation of the ethno-cultural identity of students was carried out on the material of the South Russian folk costume. Due to its brightness, symbolism, constructive simplicity, the South Russian folk costume is accessible and understandable for younger schoolchildren and can be used in the practice of a modern school, since the skill of creating and decorating a costume was transferred from older younger members of the family in the process of direct contact in the form of joint activity. The conducted ascertaining experiment showed that if students have a certain civic position and moral feelings, their ethno-cultural identity, as a quality of personality, is at an insufficiently high level of formation. At the formative stage of the study, the experimental group conducted classes that were aimed at the formation of ethno-cultural identity among students of primary school age under the program of extracurricular activities “I live in Russia”. In the control group, educational and extracurricular activities were carried out in accordance with the curriculum and the plan of educational work. The implementation of the program of extracurricular activities “I live in Russia” is based on a system-activity approach, which involves social and pedagogical support for the process of formation and development of a highly moral, responsible, creative, initiative, competent citizen of Russia; transition to a strategy of social design and construction based on the development of the content and technologies of education that determine the ways and means of achieving the socially desired level of personal and cognitive development of students, taking into account their age, psychological and physiological characteristics. An important function of traditional art is that it is a unique way of conveying the universal and individual human experience. The South Russian folk costume gives students a unique opportunity to join the experience of previous generations, analyze, participate in the creation of a material result, come to an understanding of the beauty and originality of the costumes of different peoples living in Russia. As a result of the successful use of the material of the South Russian folk costume, interest is developing in the study of the history of the country, region, native city; the amount of work in the classroom gradually increases as a result of increased attention and good performance; the desire to learn new things increases, children are waiting for creative tasks, they themselves take the initiative in their search, help each other by creating collective projects in the classroom. As a result of the study, the indicators of the formation of ethnocultural identity in the experimental group increased in comparison with the results of the ascertaining stage of the study. This was facilitated by conducting classes with students on the extracurricular activity course “I live in Russia” introduced into the educational process of elementary school, built on the material of the South Russian folk costume. | 6083 | Introduction. We are continuing the cycle of works on historical development of some constructions of spoken English interaction. The article deals with the early history of tag-questions focusing on the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment. Aim and objectives. Some constructions with tag-questions from the texts of the certain historical period were investigated to find their lexical, phonetic and grammatical (structural, punctual) particularities and to compare them with the same constructions of Renaissance period. Material and methods. Exemplifying sentences are taken from the works written by English authors from 1688 to 1730. Drama and novel texts are used as a source. The methods of theoretical analysis of linguistic concepts, total selection of the material, linguistic research of language facts, comparative analysis are applied. Results and discussion. Three groups and ten types of the structures are distinguished. The base of groups differentiating is the existence of lexical and grammatical connection between the anchor (the main clause) and the tag. The base of the types differentiating is the content of the tags. So-called canonical tag-questions like He is a student, isn’t he? and other structures (containing predicative tags like He is a student, you say? and non-predicative tags like He is a student, eh?) are under analysis. Tag-questions from the texts of two epochs – Renaissance and Enlightenment are compared. The discussion consists of authorial choice of lexical means, the arrangement of words in the tags, the place of tags in the anchors, the peculiarities of graphical representation of the constructions in the texts. As a result the most successful children are good at several kinds of activity, however they are in dark of existing great number of others. At the same time the problem of seasonal crisis of personal self-determination of children, because of which searches of true occupation to liking can drag on for the long period, is frequent. According to V.A. Sukhomlinsky’s precepts children need periods for acquaintance with different types of activities, as a result personal and professional interests can be revealed. In our opinion creating conditions for children to experience a large number of activities, which they chose in institutions of additional education, solves that problem. According to the research, in the modern educational associations there is a practice of comprehensive programs, which involves not only the basic but also the additional direction of training and mutual training activities for the exchange of experience between collectives with related activities. However, in institutions of additional education there are not enough large-scale surveys which that can give students initial experience in many kinds of different activities, in the context of which the choice of the most interesting can be more conscious and obvious to children. From the author’s point of view, such methods as “open doors” promote personal self-determination only if they form the atmosphere of game in which children, teenagers and the youth are free to visit different clubs and elective courses with the feeling of an interesting adventure. In the article the author recommends to use game technologies in the format of “quest”; different directions help children find their field of interests. To sum it up, one may come to the conclusion that interaction of clubs and optional courses within the institution of additional education will allow to broaden the field for self-realization of students, that helps choose between the existing directions of training. However, in the article the author emphasizes that the choice of the directions by the children has to be voluntary, they should not have tests for a long period of time as among the variety of interesting kinds of activity children’s unripe nature can be in self-determination crisis. The author believes that the success of the action depends on the professionalism of the organizers and the leading teachers. | 6099 | Introduction. The study of verbal and cognitive activity of an author and an addressee in the process of co-creation based on the text as a form of communication remains an urgent problem. The modern cognitive-discursive paradigm of scientific knowledge and development of communicative theory of text offer the challenge in the study of text as an object of perception, interpretation and understanding. The aim of the article is the detection of some linguo-cognitive mechanisms of hyperconcept forming as a result of interpretative activity by a subject perceiving the text relying on the regulative theory as one of the directions of the communicative stylistics of the text. Material and methods. The research is examined on the analysis, comparison and generalization of scientific literature on the theory and history of the issue, on the use of the methodology and conceptual and terminological apparatus of the regulative theory, on the application of conceptual, linguistic, semantic and stylistic analysis. The material for the study was the poems of famous Russian poets F. I. Tyutchev, I. A. Bunin, Z. N. Gippius, N. A. Zabolotsky. Results and discussion. The starting point is the following: the interpretation of the text by the addressee depends on linguo-cognitive mechanisms – verbal and cognitive processes that form the generalized meaning of the text (hyperconcept), stimulated by the general system of the text, including the cognitive operations of analysis, comparison, synthesis based on associative activity and an experience of a person. In identifying the hyperconcept, the regulatory strategy of the text, the methods of regulation, the regulatory means and structures which the author used in the text with an orientation towards co-creation with the addressee, “control” of his cognitive activity are important. The lexical system of the text stimulating its associative and semantic deployment in the mind of the reader is especially significant. Interpretive activity presupposes the interconnection of the concepts actualized in the text within the limits of its general conceptual structure based on the relations of complement, enhancement, contrast, inclusion, comparison, generalization. Taking this into account, relying on the regulative theory, the following linguocognitive mechanisms of hyperconcept formation were identified: 1) through amplifying-convergent mechanism, associated with the sequential strengthening of the key concept by various regulatory means and structures in the context of the inductive-deductive lexical macrostructure of the text; with repetition as a way of regulation and a regulatory strategy for the stepwise enhancement of the semantic features of the key concept; 2) closed sequentialadditional, manifested in a phased artistic-figurative concretization of various signs of a hyperconcept based on the use of a strong regulatory strategy of a homogeneous explicit type and repetition as the main way of regulation; 3) comparative-paradoxical, stimulated by the regulatory strategy of the paradoxical-contrastive type; contrast as the main method of regulation and textual paradigms of the antonymic type as a regulatory dominant; 4) comparativesynthesizing, reflecting synthesis (generalization) on the basis of parallel comparative associative-semantic deployment of different facets (features) of the key concept, stimulated by a stepped lexical macrostructure of the inductive-deductive type. Conclusion. The use of the regulative theory and its conceptual and terminological apparatus makes it possible to determine some of the patterns organized by the interpretive activity of the addressee and the linguo-cognitive mechanisms of the formation of the general meaning of the text given in the poetic text. Obtained observations are of interest for further development of the problem of notional interpretation and methods of semantic analysis of the text.
