| 2209 | The article deals with the usage of teaching tests at the different stages of studying English by medical students to prepare for control testing. We compared the results of control testing received by the students using training test with those of students not using them. We investigated three kinds of tests: thematic, intermediate and final. Statistical parameters of tests meet the classical criteria. To analyze the impact of training test in detail, we compared the results of students according to their initial level of knowledge. It was shown that training tests influence positively the effectiveness of teaching. The results of investigation were confirmed statistically. Central to them, by right, is the final composition, since it, on the one hand, is aimed at testing general speech competencies, on the other hand, on the specific knowledge and skills of the graduate. The theme of the task is considered to be the reason for additional emotional experiences of the students. For the first time, according to the personal approach, handwriting is regarded as one of the conditions for the successful graduation of the graduates. The paper discusses the difficulties of transition from one type of state attestation to another and formulates some methodological aspects that contribute to their resolution. Particular attention is paid to the general emotional background, constantly created around the complexity of the final structural part of the control and measuring materials. The conducted experiment allows us to analyze the causes of errors made by students in the assignment fulfillment, to highlight their psychological and pedagogical aspects. Not only negative results are considered, but positive dynamics in training are also traced. The influence of the period of preparation for the Unified State Exam on the progress and success of students is traced. In conclusion we are talking about the need for different approaches to prepare students for the state attestation. | 2218 | The article investigates the models of organization of the educational process in rural schools as a perfect representation of administrative activity in the field of didactic and educational systems, resource provision and educational quality management. The analysis of the historical context of development of education in rural areas was carried out, the main stages of development of organization of educational process within formation of rural educational institutions in Russia in the XIXth – Xxth centuries and models corresponding to them are revealed. Within selected historical and pedagogical stages the context of development of rural pre-revolutionary schools of Russia was revealed, (which was the basis of the author’s pedagogical concepts promoting formation of various historical models of the organization of educational process: the idea of nationality (K. D. Ushinsky), free upbringing (L. N. Tolstoy), autonomy of pedagogical process (P. F. Kapterev), lack of social estates, continuity of educational process (N. I. In modern linguistic science, there has recently been a tendency of typical language-specific study in which euphonia is defined as a typical linguistic characteristic of a literary text. This article discusses the specific properties of words found in fairy tales, and their sound character, which is associated with the phonetic and stylistic features of folklore. The paper comprehensively reviews the functional and rhythmic characteristics of euphony in fairy tales and confirms the specific details of the emotional, artistic and functional impact strategies. The paper is mainly devoted to the study of euphonia in Russian folk tales.And thus, it can confirm the rhythm and melody of the narrative in the development of fairy tales and find that alliteration and resonance are typical expressions of folk tales. As a conventional phonological form, euphony, with a unique study of language style, links authors, fairy tale texts and listeners. This expression of trinity is well shown in the folk tales. Material and methods. The empirical base of the study is 623 titles of Russian folktales collected by A. N. Afanasyev in three volumes. The following research techniques and methods were implemented in the study: a descriptive method, observation and generalization, an interpretative approach; systematization and classification; functional, comparative and statistical analysis. Results and discussion. The results of this work confirm that Russian folk tales are characterized by a diverse euphony as a special and typical repetition of sounds and rhythmic organization, embodying a certain purposeful author’s intention. In the tales of A. N. Afanasyev, the main phonetic expressive means and artistic rhythmic methods are used, the purpose of which is to create euphony – alliteration and assonance. A similar euphony is noted in the beginnings, endings, to represent the development of the plot of the tale. A specific feature of the use of these tools and methods is that they are all closely related, complement, reinforce each other, and effectively contribute to the implementation of the author’s artistic design. Conclusion. Eventually, the author draws the following conclusion that, when using phonetic rhymes, the expressive power in fairy tale, especially the expressiveness at the beginning and ending, can be achieved not only through the use of phonetics and stylistic, but also through the use of rhythmic artistic expression of the author’s descriptions in words, phrases, and paragraphs. The use of alliteration and assonance in Russian folk tales can enhance the imagery and expressiveness of speech, create a favorable sound musical and harmonious effect and allow readers to present the poetic picture of the tale as much as possible. | 2220 | Introduction. This article is a continuation of a previously begun study of intertextuality in the novel “Stone Maples” by contemporary writer Lena Eltang. In the first part, the subject of analysis was the allusive correlations of the storyline of Sasha Sonley with the motives of the folklore tale of female initiation. In the second part, we turn to the intertextual analysis of the plot line of the central character Luellin and the artistic space of the novel. The purpose of the work – is to identify the semantics and functions of the fairy-tale intertext in Lena Eltang’s modernist novel “Stone Maples”. Material and methods. Intertextual and motivational analysis based on the works of I. Smirnov, M. Gasparov, B. Gasparov, and I. Paperno was applied. Also, the theoretical basis of the research is the works of folklorists and psychologists devoted to the motivational structure of folklore tales about an orphan girl, the plot of initiation (O. M. Freudenberg, E. N. eleonskaya, R. Efimkin, etc.). The research material is Lena Eltang’s novel “Stone Maples”. Results and discussion. Llewellyn’s storyline is also organized in accordance with the fairy-tale story of initiation (disobedience and separation from the father, name change, search for the bride, guessing riddles/passing tests to reunite with the betrothed, going beyond the sea / to the afterlife, returning to the beloved). In addition, the fairy-tale intertext is manifested at the level of artistic space: “Stone Maples” – the house-hotel of the Sonli family is allusively connected with the image of the “petrified”, enchanted Kingdom. This toponymic image is correlated in the novel with allusions to a complex of fairy-tale motifs about an enchanted bride/groom. Conclusion. An analysis of the intertextual level of the novel will allow us to state that for Lena Eltang an important sematic resource for modeling the author’s art world is not only folklore texts themselves, but also scientific studies on folklore. The dialogue-strained semantic relationship with folklore allows us to isolate not the superficial correlation of the novel with a fabulous intertext, but to enter the anthroposophical concept of Eltang: she is interested in the type of personality living in what is happening to him in two changes: profane-everyday and sacred. The collisions of modern man (self-determination, relationship with Others, the search for his second half) repeat the eternal, essentially unchanged subjects of initiation. | 2229 | The paper presents experimental data on the methane emissions from West Siberian middle taiga oligotrophic hollows. Studied fluxes vary considerably from –0.08 to 58 mgС·m–2·h–1 (median is 2.76 mgС·m–2·h–1). Received data are consolidated in the scope of «standard model» Bc8 conception of methane emission. The model contains medians of CH4 flux distributions on seven different microlandscape types depending on their area and duration of methane emission in the respective zones. The total flux from the middle taiga oligotrophic hollows is 0.37 TgC or approximately 70 % of CH4 total flux from middle taiga mires. Version Bc8 of this model estimates the value of yearly CH4 emission from mires of whole Western Siberia as 2.93 TgC·yr–1 that accounts for around 2.4 % of the total mire methane emission. | 2235 | N. Otsup, Russian poet of the first wave of emigration lived abroad for 34 years. He lived in France, but his heart belonged to Italy. His first poem, dedicated to Italy, appeared in the book “In the smoke” (1926). N. Otsup was hoping to see a country of great culture, but found the country of philistines. Gradually his negative impressions were replaced by descriptions of the aesthetic space of Italy, largely due to meeting with his future wife. In N. Otsup’s lyrics Italian motifs are closely intertwined with motives of love and faith, as the wife has brought him to God. The poem “Meeting” (1928) was dedicated to the enlightenment of the lyrical hero. Italy is a prideful country, where the life passes slowly, and therefore the enlightenment comes not very soon. Italy took important place in the last N. Otsup’s poem “Diary in verse”. The poet dedicate it to his wife, which he compares with Dante Beatrice. Otsup describes the usual life of Italians, the idyll of rural Italy and also wrote with sadness about fascism. The poet joined Italian Resistance and fought for the country as for his second homeland. During the WWII he experienced a spiritual crisis, but he overcame adversity and found his Paradise in the Holy land of Italy. | 2237 | Introduction. The problem of training competent specialists in the sphere of service and production has remained relevant over the past decade. The demand for personnel with professional linguistic competence sets a problem for the teaching community to develop new training courses and programs in a foreign language of a specialty, an important component of which is mastering the language of the professional sphere. Teaching aids and textbooks on the language of the specialty are being created. However, the question of creating textbooks for single-subject specialists, for whom a foreign language is a tool for carrying out their professional activities, remains open. Aim and objectives. The aim is to create a model of a textbook on a foreign language for specific purposes in the sphere of tourism. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development and application of new models of language training for narrow-profile specialists. Material and methods. The material of the research is based on the theoretical works of national and foreign scientists working in the system of professional training for the sphere of production and services. The methods used at the empirical and theoretical levels are in close interaction: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, scientific observation, generalization of experience, analysis and synthesis, comparison, modeling, extrapolation. The empirical basis of the research is the results of the practical application of the competence-based approach and the communicative method in teaching French to personnel in the field of tourism. Results and discussion. Many years of experience in training personnel for the tourism sector showed the effectiveness of the competence-based approach in teaching French for specific purposes, the effectiveness of the program “French in the sphere of tourism” and revealed the necessity to design a textbook on French for specific purposes. The proposed author’s model of the textbook «French in the sphere of tourism» is intended for students of linguistic universities, faculties of tourism, staff of hotels and travel agencies. The structure of the textbook includes the following components: course modularity, special vocabulary (terms and professional jargon), a list of professional skills and communicative situations of business communication, methodological techniques that allow students to form a readiness for professional activity using a foreign language. Conclusion. The developed and tested French language courses in the sphere of tourism follow the main/basic principle of the language for specific purposes – the use of authentic materials: guides, catalogs, travel brochures, travel guides, as well as websites of hotels, tour operators, and regions of France. However, learners need a teaching aid for the proposed course. A textbook is needed, which will systematically present the modules, the tasks of mastering each module, the specifics of exercises/tests and the requirements for the tasks of the module. The author’s model of the textbook “French in the sphere of tourism” is focused on specialization in three sectors: hotel and restaurant business, tourism as an industry/service sector, where the realia of industrial, organizational and managerial culture are of great importance. The emphasis is on the formation of appropriate psychological attitudes of service personnel in accordance with the requirements of European service standards.
