| 3363 | In his final article «Pushkin», Tynyanov has specified the two-sidedness of Pushkin’s semantics as a major factor of the poet’s literary evolution (“of catastrophic force and speed“). Semantic two-sidedness produces “varying” meanings and consequently can act as it were a regulator of contradictory understanding of Pushkin on the part of contemporaries and the latest literary generations. In this context, it is important to note the interest of Tynyanov to “a high ode”, having dual, two-sided nature. The Tynyanov’s formalistic attitudes excluded, on the one hand, the efficiency of psychological approach to the description of literary phenomena; on the other – created necessary conditions for forming up poetic forms, i.e. theoretically proved literary models. | 3367 | The immense interest in metaphor has resulted in the emergence of a massive literature on the subject. From this academic interest in metaphor, a growing interest in metonymy has emerged over recent years, resulting in the formation of an impressive body of research, almost entirely from a cognitive linguistics perspective. The new works on metonymy show a consensus around a number of claims: that metonymy, like metaphor, is a conceptual phenomenon; that metonymy, like metaphor, plays a central role in conceptualization and communication; and that metonymy and metaphor can be identified as distinct, though related, phenomena. Metonymy is not just a type of language but reflects a significant form of human cognition. Metonymy differs from metaphor by the number of domains. In metaphor, there are two conceptual domains, and one thing is understood in terms of another. On the other hand, metonymy involves only one conceptual domain, in that the connection between two things is within the same domain, or within the same domain matrix. There are many types of metonymy and the least investigated of them is the relation between the metric system units and the means of inaccurate measures which can be used alternatively to indicate the space measurements within the same domain. Keywords: measure, metonymic shift, space measurements, distance, conceptual domain | 1970 | |||||
| 3368 | The article deals with the organization of local history work in the pre-school educational organization. The authors disclose the potential of local history material for the comprehensive development of the child, the formation of patriotism and the basis of his active life position. | 3381 | The article discusses the establishment of students’ graduation projects based on real industry tasks in the Far Eastern State Transport University (former Khabarovsk State Railway University) as a progressive form of students’ scientific research at the end of the 50–80-ies of XX century. At first real-life graduation projects were introduced into educational process at the chair of “Railway operation” in 1958. The article presents a list of important students graduation projects of 1958–1960 completed for the Far Eastern Railway and the city of Khabarovsk. In addition, the stages of students’ the thesis design are analyzed, starting from information gathering to the presentation of projects to the examination committee. Also, the characteristics of real-life graduation projects are discussed such as the passthrough design (real and meaningful tasks of the industry were selected in the third year of the study, allowing students to do research in the format of coursework), group projects (the projects that require complex calculations were entrusted to a group of students), the use of computers for accurate design calculations. The author proves that students’ real-life projects were the most time-consuming form of research work as they were executed on the basis of real data; they were relevant, responsive and reliable and solved the tasks of the Far Eastern Railway and industries; they allowed students to be actively involved in the projects of industries, to adapt faster at the future workplace and have better career prospects. | 3382 | In present article there are the results of inner form analysis of idioms with the verbs of physical perception in the Russian and English languages. The purpose is to find isomorphic and allomorphic features. There are several types of phraselogical units but idioms are the most interesting for such analysis because they have the inner form based upon some kind of image. The inner form of idioms reflects the associative bonds between conceptual category of physical perception and other categories. The article demonstrates the analysis of inner form done by means of identifying associative models of phraseological inner form. The majority of the associative models are in visual perception that represents the importance of visual perception for native speakers and for the process of idioms creation in both languages. The article presents associative bonds of physical perception category with other categories and the similarities and differences in inner forms of idioms in comparable languages. Phraseological equivalents and coincident models of phraseological inner form represent the similarities of these languages. The connection of physical perception sphere and sphere of understanding, sphere of emotions, personal relations and others became evident. The fact that all associative models in English coincide with those in the Russian language may indicate the identical perceptual and cognitive apparatus. | 3383 | The article contains the research results of different levels of interpretation and perception of hagiographic texts about saint old man, Fedor Tomskiy, written for children’s readership, recipients of adolescence in Tomsk. The results of experiment are provided according to the horizon of reader’s expectations, to the analysis of which the first part of the article is devoted. The pretext experiment, based on a questionnaire survey among the pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools of Tomsk, had the aim to identify different types of readers, belonging to secular and religious cultures, which affected their ideas of hagiographic genre, phenomenon of sanctity and knowledge of particular saints. The perception of hagiographic works for children by pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools in Tomsk was studied during the second experiment. This research was conducted within the receptive aesthetics which is aimed to study the reader’s response to works and particularities of text’s perception. And the functional reality of work is determined by interacting of the reader and the textual structure. Modern works of art and religion, written for young reader, have different formal and informative levels, modal and value plans. The understanding of difficult textual structure happens only in the process of its specification by recipient. The recipient determines relevance and semantic content of the work, distinguishes emotional and semantic dominant of the text in the process of aesthetic perception. In the course of the experiment, a correlation was found between the reader’s reception of the text and the pretextfactors. The main factor in perception of art and religious text is secular or religious world view. | 3384 | Introduction. The article deals with the problem of optimizing the teaching of Russian as a foreign language using computer technologies at the stage of pre-University training of Chinese students. Students from China experience a number of difficulties related to cultural, national characteristics, as well as large differences in the principles of their native and Russian languages. The aim of the work is to analyze the practices of using computer technologies at the initial stage of studying RCT by Chinese students; to postulate the need to use existing electronic educational complexes, as well as to create new ones. Material and methods. The methodology included information retrieval, continuous sampling analysis, and systematization. Results and discussion. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the systematization of the described experience of using electronic resources and conclusions. In Russia, several electronic and methodological complexes have been created in recent years, which simplify the process of mastering Russian as a foreign language. Using them, the student can repeatedly reproduce the training material, return to it after some time. The effective experience of using e-courses at the stage of pre-University training is described. They are used in Moscow, Krasnodar, Voronezh and other cities. Most of the computer systems concern phonetics as a section of the Russian language. This is due to the complexity of this section for international students. The part is created on topics that are studied much later than the initial stage, for example, «Chemistry», «Economics», «Literature». We have noted the lack of narrowly thematic educational electronic materials for students of the initial stage. Also, for effective learning and comfort in a foreign language environment, students can be provided with interactive dictionaries. It is important that the role of the teacher is not leveled in the course of using electronic learning environments. Conclusion. Interactive courses serve as necessary additional elements in the training system of RCTS, but they cannot replace the tutor’s control by a live person. We noted the descriptive nature of scientific works on the functioning of e-courses, which means that there is a need to quantify their effectiveness using sociological, pedagogical and statistical methods, and to highlight the results in the General pedagogical discourse.
