The given structures referred to as ‘semimarked ones’ are widely used in the English language and, among other things, for expressing space measurements. | 3462 | The article contains the research results of different levels of interpretation and perception of hagiographic texts about saint old man, Fedor Tomskiy, written for children’s readership, recipients of adolescence in Tomsk. The results of experiment are provided according to the horizon of reader’s expectations, to the analysis of which the first part of the article is devoted. The pretext experiment, based on a questionnaire survey among the pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools of Tomsk, had the aim to identify different types of readers, belonging to secular and religious cultures, which affected their ideas of hagiographic genre, phenomenon of sanctity and knowledge of particular saints. The perception of hagiographic works for children by pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools in Tomsk was studied during the second experiment. This research was conducted within the receptive aesthetics which is aimed to study the reader’s response to works and particularities of text’s perception. And the functional reality of work is determined by interacting of the reader and the textual structure. Modern works of art and religion, written for young reader, have different formal and informative levels, modal and value plans. The understanding of difficult textual structure happens only in the process of its specification by recipient. The recipient determines relevance and semantic content of the work, distinguishes emotional and semantic dominant of the text in the process of aesthetic perception. In the course of the experiment, a correlation was found between the reader’s reception of the text and the pretextfactors. The main factor in perception of art and religious text is secular or religious world view. In this article we would like to analyze the proper names (artionyms) on the example of the names of French impressionists’ paintings. The purpose of this article is to compare a group of French and Russian artionyms and to find language and cultural tendencies appeared during their translation from one language into another. Artionym is a complex of different categories of proper names which have the denotation in mental, ideological and artistic sphere of human activity. Artionym is a complex of linguistic and cultural factors. The linguistic secularities connected with the fact that during the nomination of an art work the author uses special constructions (lexical, grammar) characteristic for a special language. It assumes the need to overcome the traditional process in the organization of foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities that train specialists in different spheres of production. Using a very simple two-dimensional model of a crystal lattice we have shown that the main part of this radiation is generated on the frequency of oscillations of a channeling particle between the crystal planes, shifted by the Doppler effect. | 3487 | In present article there are the results of inner form analysis of idioms with the verbs of physical perception in the Russian and English languages. The purpose is to find isomorphic and allomorphic features. There are several types of phraselogical units but idioms are the most interesting for such analysis because they have the inner form based upon some kind of image. The inner form of idioms reflects the associative bonds between conceptual category of physical perception and other categories. The article demonstrates the analysis of inner form done by means of identifying associative models of phraseological inner form. The majority of the associative models are in visual perception that represents the importance of visual perception for native speakers and for the process of idioms creation in both languages. The article presents associative bonds of physical perception category with other categories and the similarities and differences in inner forms of idioms in comparable languages. Phraseological equivalents and coincident models of phraseological inner form represent the similarities of these languages. The connection of physical perception sphere and sphere of understanding, sphere of emotions, personal relations and others became evident. The fact that all associative models in English coincide with those in the Russian language may indicate the identical perceptual and cognitive apparatus. The inclusion of this discipline in the curriculum is due not only to the vulnerability of electronic systems to deliberate force electromagnetic influences, but the need to increase interest in studying for a master’s degree, improving the quality of education and following the trends of modern education. The purpose of the work is to consider the introduction of interdisciplinary courses in the educational process as a factor affecting the quality of education. Material and methods. The work contains the rationale for the introduction of an interdisciplinary course on counterterrorism management, a brief description of the sections of the course and their significance in the training program for undergraduates in electromagnetic compatibility. Results and discussion. The result of the work is a prepared course for undergraduates, related to the study of mathematical methods of anti-terror control, as part of the implementation of master’s programs related to electromagnetic compatibility. Conclusion. The knowledge gained by undergraduates in this course, related to understanding the nature of terrorism and the skills acquired in creating appropriate models, combined with knowledge in the reliability of electrical and radio engineering systems, increase the capabilities of countering terrorism. The formation of additional knowledge, skills and abilities within the framework of the implementation of master’s degree programs allows to improve the quality of training of students and their competitiveness in the market. The concept “pedagogical tolerance” can be regarded also as a kind of professional tolerance. Pedagogical tolerance is manifested in the implementation of pedagogical functions: organizational, educational, informational, controlling et al. They are necessary for the specialists of this professional sphere, for the successful implementation of their professional tasks. | 3497 | The article deals with the cognitive foundations of the mental phenomenon of imagination as well as the language representation of the ability to form and model an image. Imagination as a mental activity is the ability to form and shape an image. Analysis of the language conceptualization of imagination is based on the method of a cognitive modeling of a situation, with the help of which it is possible to access the knowledge of the mental process studied. A large number of verb nominations verbalizing the process of imagination attests to the importance of this phenomenon for the English language picture of the world. According to the empirical material the situation of imagination can be categorized by verbs that differently characterize it. The generalization of the components of the semantic structure of linguistic expressions and the contexts of their representation have made it possible to construct a cognitive model of the situation of imagination with the following participants: the subject of imagination, the process of imagination (as the formation of mental images in a certain space-time environment) and the object of imagination (imaginary). The volume of the empirical material allowed us to identify and analyze the signs of the participants of the situation of imagination. | 3498 | Introduction. Currently, educational institutions have experience in organizing children’s design and research activities. The interest of schools convincingly shows the demand for these activities. Long-term observations and experience of cooperation with educational institutions of the city of Tomsk and the region made it possible to identify urgent problems in this direction. Purpose of the research: analysis of problems in the design and research activities of children and the search for approaches to their solution. Material and methods. The study used reports from teachers from 23 schools (Tomsk and the Tomsk region). They were presented at the regional scientific-practical conference «Organization of research and project activities of students in educational institutions» (Tomsk, December 17, 2020, Tomsk State Pedagogical University). We conducted a survey (63 teachers). Results and discussion. Based on the analysis, we identified problems: teachers do not distinguish between the concepts of «project activity» and «research activity»; there are no uniform criteria for project activities and research activities of students; there are no successive ties in the organization of project and research activities at different levels of education. Conclusion. The solution to these problems can be: 1. Creation of a project group for proactive teachers. They can develop uniform criteria for the design and research activities of children for the city and region. 2. It is necessary to update the content of training students at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. There should be a course for teaching students to work with projects and research on children.
