Malikov E.V. PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 1 (154). P. 55-61

In the course of such training the author proposes to distinguish between three levels of management competencies and three approaches to the study of programming languages. According to the aims of the course software from primitive level to high level is offered; the steps of learning are established; a number of high-level languages are compared; the existing experience is analyzed. As part of the stated objective for training the author offers means of programming from primitive to high-level; builds a sequence of mastering the basics of programming; compares a number of high-level languages in terms of the task; analyses the existing experience of implementing these ideas in the learning process.

Poleva E.A. GENRE OF THE AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL MINIATURE STORY ABOUT CHILDHOOD: ANGELIKA SUMBAYEVA’S PROSE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 2 (179). P. 87-92

The article is devoted to the research of autobiographical miniature stories of the modern writer Angelika Sumbayeva. Classical works (M. Bakhtin, L. Ginzburg etc.) give the ideas of typological signs of poetics of autobiographical prose of the childhood which are observed in A. Sumbayeva’s prose: psychologism, retrospective view, lyrical modality of the narration caused by the attitude of the storyteller towards the hero. At the same time the volume of a miniature causes features of A. Sumbayeva’s prose: laconicism of descriptions, accuracy in selection of details; transfer of psychological state through nuance, details. The article alalyses in detail the cycle of the stories published in 2010 in the magazine for children “A Yellow Caterpillar” and built according to calendar chronology (winter, spring, summer). In miniature stories the features of art space come to light (including, the use of attributive features of the Siberian region, its climatic originality), functions of gesture, nuance, phrases in the transfer of a psychological portrait of characters, narrative techniques which form the author’s attitude towards the autobiographical character (for example, use of the narration in third person, but transfer of attitude of the child associating reality with the fantastic world through the direct speech). In miniatures there is an image of the natural world of Siberia in general, and the autobiographical image appears as typical, given in circumstances, recognizable, familiar to the Siberian reader. Miniatures of Angelica Sumbayeva recreate the world of childhood as a harmonious, open to the new, capable to take a miracle to transform the ordinary into the world of fairy tales.

The main research sources are the documents of the Central state archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State archive of Omsk Region. The author of the article studied the demographic development and the number of entrepreneurs of the Steppe region cities in the second half of the XIX and early XX centuries. A comprehensive comparative analysis has been done to identify the causes of quantitative changes of merchants and certain categories of the population in the major cities of the Steppe region as Petropavlovsk, Akmola, Semipalatinsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Pavlodar. Despite the difficulties in working with statistics and contradictions in it, the author reveals the quantitative and qualitative changes in the structure of the merchant class, as well as general trends in the formation of regional dealers and traces the emergence of the local merchant class in the cities and regions of the Steppe region. These statistics can be used in scientific research, the search of materials for scientific articles related to the demographic development of the merchant class not only in the north-eastern Kazakhstan but also in the history of Russian business, which are included in the process of building a modern management of sector model of the economy and the formation of infrastructure of the given territories, developing the region’s development strategy. The results of this study make it possible to introduce adjustments to some other research, and thus to increase the accuracy of the scientific data in the study of demographic processes in the major cities of the Steppe regions in the second half of the XIX and early XX centuries.

For example, he regards the form of the author’s works as a drawback; while his younger contemporaries will discover its novelty and meaning-making function in the text. Herewith, he rethinks some aspects of the traditional interpretation and calls The Karamazov Brothers, previously underestimated by the critics, an outstanding work. Bennett is not prepared for the deep understanding of the Dostoevsky’s work, but his interest in the author’s legacy, persistent urge to publish the translations play important role in popularizing his books in Great Britain. As a result, Dostoevsky’s novels become a matter of discussions among the young English writers and become available for the common readers. Conclusion. Bennet’s articles about the Russian author make a representative material in terms of learning the critic’s personal reception and in terms of identifying the typical features of the reception of 1910s. They form preconditions for the development of the so-called “Dostoevsky cult”.

Tomberg O.V. MODEL OF RESEARCH INTO AN ARTISTIC IMAGE IN NATIONAL POETIC LINGUOCULTURE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 2 (179). P. 31-36

The article puts forward a model of studying a n artistic image in national poetic linguoculture. The model comprises three levels: сharacter-contextual, linguopoetic and conceptual. Each of the levels offers research into different layers of the image. The first level aims at describing character repertoire of the image, the second level focuses on its linguostylistic characteristics and the third level provides research into its conceptual content. Application of the model contributes to understanding of a literary image as a complex phenomenon – a projection of three semiotic systems: poetics, language and culture. Thus, each of the model layers is characterized by its own methods of research. Contextual analysis is a dominant method of research on the first level. At this stage of analysis major focus is given to constructing contextual setting of the image. Thus, the following structure of integrated imagological context is proposed in the article. Names of characters and their second naming varieties constitute its nuclear zone, speech portraits represent its central zone and a peripheral area comprises narrative portraits. Quantitative and linguostylistic analyses dominate on the second level of imagological research. At this stage the analysis is split in two parts: research into lexical specifics of imagological contexts and its stylistic peculiarities. A conceptual analysis is used on the third level of imagological research and it aims at establishing links and means of connecting the image to national culture through a notion of linguocultural concept.

Skripnik A.V., Skripnik O.G. MODELLING OF THE ASSOCIATIVE FIELD OF THE CONCEPT “SPORT” AS BASIS OF FORMATION OF IMAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF SPORT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 10 (187). P. 48-55

In the XXI century sport begins to return the position which it lost at the end of the last century. The Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi, the introduction of GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense ) standards (especially for schoolchildren and students) and the additional points for admission to universities for the delivery of these norms, various sporting events of the regional level – all these things make an impact on the formation of the positive sport’s image among the modern youth. In accordance with this indicator, we have established the percentage of students of higher and secondary education who are engaged in physical culture and sports. We used the technique of the linguistic and cognitive modeling of the concept’s maintenance. We developed the reference points of the sport’s image model on the basis of results of an associative experiment. From the positions of cognitive linguistics it is possible to offer the following definition of the sport’s image: sport’s image is a mental construct formed by means of information influence for the purpose of fixing in the picture of the world of the addressee of a steady set of representations and associations connected with sport. The results of the experiment allow to draw a conclusion that in language consciousness of the native speakers the concept has more values, than it is described in the dictionaries. The results of the associative experiment and the poll allow us to offer the following reference points for modeling of the sport’s image. 1. It is necessary to use the words connected with the concept for the concept’s verbalization in the different types of the propaganda materials designed for young people. 2. It is worth thinking of development of the parallel advertizing campaigns designed for different target audiences taking into account gender aspect. 3. Such way of formation of the image as involvement in this activity of the famous athletes, in this case seems to us demanding a further research.

Vladimirova S.B. DISCOURSE STATUS OF TEXTS OF FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAMINATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 7 (204). P. 7-16

Introduction. The article deals with a question of the discursive status of forensic medical examination texts, the existence of a separate sub-discourse of the forensic medical examination, which is at the intersection of medical and legal discourses, and its place in the typology of institutional discourses. The need to distinguish the discourse of forensic medical examination as a separate subtype of discourse, the description of its model and the study of it as a multidiscourse phenomenon is due to the peculiarities of the interaction of the two institutional discourses with a high level of formalization and ritualization. The aim of the article is to determine the status of the forensic medical examination (SME) as an area of social, professional and textual activity, its place in the typology of institutional discourses. Material and methods. The model of describing the institutional discourse of V. I. Karasik was chosen as the main methodological dominant. This is due to the fact that the studied area belongs to the sphere of institutional interaction, and the fact that this model allows one to identify own discursive parameters at the stage of initial analysis. This theory of discourse analysis makes it possible to define categories such as “participants of communication”, “conditions of communication”, “organization” and “methods of communication”. The material for the study was the full texts of 10 opinions of forensic doctors with a total volume of more than 100 pages, taken at a professional forum of forensic doctors of Russia in the section “Consultation Center”. Results and discussion. Communicators in the field of forensic medicine have a different status than participants in medical or legal discourse. The main type of communication is the type “doctor-forensic scientist – the examined”. Communication places are medical and legal organizations, as well as scientific organizations and events. The goals of the forensic doctor as a participant in the communication “forensic doctor – the examined” go back to legal discourse, while the strategy used is medical. The nuclear genre of discourse is the opinion of the medical examiner, which applies to both legal and medical discourse, and also contains a large number of discursive formulas, stable and specific. Conclusion. The main parameters of communications in the field of forensic examination correspond to the models proposed by V.I. Karasik, however, is not reduced to either legal or medical discourse. Based on the results of this study, a forensic medical examination may qualify for the status of a specific interdiscourse area.

Boldyrev I.I. PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF EDUCATION OF CIVIL QUALITIES OF TEENAGERS BY MEANS OF THE GTO COMPLEX. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 6 (212). P. 167-176

Introduction. The author analyzes the concepts of «condition» and «pedagogical conditions», identifies and justifies the pedagogical conditions for the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GFSK GTO, taking into account the selected components of civil qualities of adolescents. Aim and objectives: to identify the pedagogical conditions for the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex. Material and methods. The research material is theoretical and empirical research on civic education and pedagogical conditions of education. The analysis of the research helped to clarify a number of pedagogical terms and theoretically justify the identified pedagogical conditions. Results and discussion. The term «condition» is a General scientific term, but depending on the branch of scientific knowledge it is considered from different positions (philosophical, psychological, pedagogical). In this regard, «pedagogical conditions» are interpreted by scientists in different ways, but the function of pedagogical conditions remains unchanged-the influence on the development, training and upbringing of the individual. Taking into account the fact that pedagogical conditions are specially created, we will consider them from the point of view of increasing the effectiveness of the process of personal development, education and training. Pedagogical conditions aimed at improving the effectiveness of the process of educating civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex, we divide into three groups, taking into account the selected components of educating civil qualities of adolescents: the first group is pedagogical conditions that reflect the characteristics of the axiological component of educating civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO complex; the second group of pedagogical conditions, reflecting the characteristics of the cognitive component of the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO, the third group – pedagogical conditions, which reflect the characteristics of the action component of the education of civil qualities of adolescents by means of the GTO. Conclusion. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the problem of restoring civic qualities of adolescents has shown that to increase the effectiveness of achieving the set pedagogical goal, a mandatory factor is the creation of specific pedagogical conditions that allow to fully implement the model of educating civic qualities of adolescents by means of the complex GTO.

Ulyanova U.A. THE FUNCTIONING OF YIDDISH BORROWINGS IN AMERICAN ENGLISH. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 1 (213). P. 50-56

Introduction. Borrowings from Yiddish language in the American English are considered. This layer of borrowings is of special interest in the English language as the question of systematization of borrowed words from Yiddish and their complex description has not been solved yet. The aim is to describe the structural and functional features of borrowings from the Yiddish language in the American English. Material and methods. The research material is borrowed verbs from the Yiddish language, which belong to the colloquial vocabulary (to kibitz and to schmooze). The research methods are lexicographical and contextual analysis, as well as descriptive and comparative methods. Results and discussion. The borrowed lexemes schmooze and kibitz which are elements of the lexico-semantic field «Verbal communication» have negative connotation in modern English. The analysis of vocabulary definitions and etymology has shown that the meaning of borrowed verbs in English does not coincide with the meaning of the verbs in Yiddish, as in the process of borrowing there was a gradual change in the semantics of borrowed words. The initial meaning of the verbs in Yiddish is connected with information (communication of information). The meanings of the borrowed verbs are based on the common seme «verbal influence» (hidden or obvious). The verb to schmooze has several different meanings: to talk, to manipulate, to influence, to network. The meaning of the verb to kibitz has been divided into several categories: to make ironic comments, to comment, to give intrusive and unrequested advice while watching a game, performance. The shift in the meaning of the verb to schmooze is based on the phonosemantic effect, which is produced by the sound combination schm-. The change in the meaning of the verb to kibitz can be explained by high frequency of use when it appeared in American English. Taking into account the information from academic and slang dictionaries, the exact time of appearance of the lexeme schmooze (1897) and the approximate time for the lexeme kibitz (1910-1927) has been established. Non-conformity with norms of the Yiddish language when the Yiddish borrowings are used by non-Jewish English speakers is the reason of multiple variants of spelling of borrowed words in the English language. Conclusion. The research has focused on the peculiarities of lexicography of borrowed words in academic and slang dictionaries. The results prove that it is necessary to develop an integrated approach to the description of borrowings from the Yiddish language and their description in various dictionaries.

Kobelev V.A. Morphology and Paradigm of Old Germanic t-stems as a Reflection of the Active Structure of the Early Indo-European Language. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 45-50

The Indo-European languages at the early period of their development were characterized by the structure and categories which were quite different from what they are having nowadays. The active structure, the predecessor of the nominative one, determined the morphological, syntactical and semantic aspects of the language. Binary opposition of the active and inactive cases developed into a new opposition which at the moment of the formation of the nominative structure consisted of the subject case (genitive) and the object case (accusative and nominative). Old Germanic t-stems and their Indo-European parallels reflect some features which were peculiar for the active stage in the history of the Indo-European languages.
