| 3753 | In this article, I focus on the complicated variant of Collective moral responsibility, which is presented as the idea of vicarious responsibility. Using the idea of Collective Responsibility today has a lot of controversial statements. The main point, which is fixed in philosophical objections, is the principle of personality and autonomy. The idea of Collective responsibility eliminates personal responsibility, so we have the situation when nobody takes responsibility. However, today social changes, when to define real person action is impossible due to many reasons, researches have to investigate other types of responsibility, for instance collective. Collective agents such as nation, corporations, social institutes, human being need moral state, just because their actions have extensive impact and moreover the consequences of their actions have long term effects. The theoretical and practical gap is the source of the paradoxical situation. On the one hand, the paradigm of individual responsibility cannot be used for collectives, and on the other hand, the group’s activity avoids moral estimations. In this article, it seems that the idea of vicarious responsibility has a chance to connect individual and collective measurement of responsibility because it can be characterized as the space where individual and collective exist simultaneously. Vicarious responsibility deals with moral senses such as blame, shame, repentance which a personality has when other members of group have done. It is thought that the reason for this kind of experience becomes a moment of identification of the individual with the group on the basis of national, religious, professional or other interests. First fundamental question of collective responsibility and collective guilt was presented in the works of Karl Jaspers and Hannah Arendt. Philosophers have formulated the question of responsibility and guilt for the crimes of the nation's human scale, actually identifying the subject of the blame to the people. The German people were presented as a subject of collective moral responsibility. Later on, the idea of vicarious moral feelings was working out through the question: “When and under what conditions vicarious responsibility is?” Keywords: blame, collective moral responsibility, group’s liability, deed, political responsibility | 1827 | |||||
| 3754 | In the process of contemporary methodical training of inexperienced teachers of foreign languages they use textbooks which were published not only in the present century (XXI), but also in the previous one (XX). As a rule, these manuals are considered to be classical. Nevertheless, such manuals usually have rather different target orientations and content components in comparison with modern ones. The given article represents the brief description of the most famous and the most popular domestic textbooks on methods of foreign language teaching of the second half of the XXth century. These textbooks can be divided into two categories: 1) the textbooks of the 50s – 70s (L. S. Andreevskaya-Levenstern, O. E. Mikhailova, V. D Arakin, I. M. Berman, B. F. Korndorf, I. V. | 3755 | Introduction. The image of a child in art is universal because it is associated with the widest range of problems: from socio-psychological to philosophical and cultural. The aesthetic complex of childishness turns out to be highly relevant for expressing the essence of the subject of the modern transition due to the specificity of the image of the child, which is associated not only with the ideas of naturalness and creative fantasy, but also infantilism and primitivism. Aim and objectives. The aim of this work is disclosure of the symbolic content of the motif and image complex of childishness in P. V. Krusanov’s novel “American hole” (2005). The objectives of the work are studying the role of the Child archetype (“Infant-Orphan”, “Divine Infant”) and the myth-folklore motifs associated with this archetype (“children in the forest”, “initiation”). Materials and research methods. The author of the article used the structural-semiotic method, the method of myth-restoration and the method of complex analysis based on the synthesis of literary theoretic, linguistic and philosophical-cultural approaches to the artistic text. Results and discussion. To express the essence of the subject of modern transition epoch, the aesthetic complex of the childishness is very relevant, because the child’s specific image means not only naturalness and imagination, but also infantilism and primitivism. In the novel “The American Hole” by P. Krusanov, the deep symbolism of the child’s image is created by play upon the Jung’s Child archetype (“Infant-Orphan”, “Divine Infant”) and the associated myth and folk motifs (“children in the forest”, “initiation”). Despite the prevailing in the text elements of the carnival, subjecting all its ideology and axiology to inversion, the mythological analysis of the plot allows us to reveal the serious meanings that constitute the author’s “message” to the reader. The plot of the transformation of reality in the game, organized by the extremely free artist Sergey Kuryokhin and the eternal boy Evgraf, cancels the idea of the inevitable elimination of childhood and childish in adult life. Conclusion. The author of the article comes to the following conclusions. Firstly, the game inversion creates in the novel by P. Krusanov axiologically ambivalent images of the modern transitional era. Secondly, the inconsistency of the image of the child becomes a means of identifying a modern person with his infantilism, on the one hand, and the cult of creativity, on the other. Thirdly, the child for the modern man continues to be a symbol of hope and spiritual enlightenment. Keywords: P. V. Krusanov, “The American hole”, child, childishness, play, image, motif, archetype | 1827 | |||||
| 3756 | The notion of in-equivalent vocabulary stands for culture-specific lexicon units in a source text considered impossible to render into target language without more or less significant losses. Although, there exist a number of translation techniques aimed to facilitate understanding of such words for foreign readers. Each of such techniques can be correlated to two opposite strategies of domestication and foreignization, thus enabling to measure the degree to which translators managed to recreate culture-specific component in translated text. The purpose of the research is to analyze the specific features of in-equivalent lexicon units translation in four English versions of “The Golden Calf” novel by I. Ilf and E. Petrov. The research is based on 320 in-equivalent lexicon units in five text sources: 1) И. Ильф, Е. Петров. «Золотой телёнок» (1931), 2) The Little Golden Calf (transl. Ch. Malamut, 1932), 3) The Complete Adventures of Ostap Bender (transl. J.H.C. Richardson, 1961), 4) The Little Golden Calf (transl. A. Fisher, 2009), 5) The Golden Calf (transl. K. Gurevich, H. Anderson, 2009). The methods applied are general scientific (observation and description) and linguistic (text analysis, comparative analysis). In-equivalent lexicon units in “The Golden Calf” novel, set against the background of intensive formation of new Soviet lexicon, includes several classes such as sovietizms (32% of all in-equivalent units), objects and phenomena of everyday life (18%), words of foreign origin (14%), historical words (12%), phraseological units (10%), jargon and dialect words (10%), folklore words (3%), and nonce-words (1%). The comparative study of translation of the given classes of in-equivalent vocabulary in analysed English versions of “The Golden Calf” reveals the methods preferred by each interpreter. More often the authors used the techniques of description and approximate translation; less popular were the methods of hyponymic translation and calque, with the restribution of meaning as the least favorable method. Matching the techniques of in-equivalent lexical units translation to foreignization and domestication strategies makes it possible to declare that the most foreignized is Ann Fisher’s version while the most domesticated one – the translation by K. Gurevich and H. Anderson. Keywords: in-equivalent lexicon units, “The Golden Calf”, translation techniques, domestication, foreignisation | 1827 | |||||

The article is a continuation of the long-term study of the problems of aggression in the teenage environment, the role of the family and family education in the formation of the personality, of the pedagogical and psychological support of the developing personality. The social and vital necessity of people to join and maintain a close relationship is discussed. Proceeding from the statement of J.D. Meyers that: «Social addiction in childhood contributes to the strengthening of our human connections», «linking with inseverable ties of children and their caregivers, social attachment acts as a powerful impetus to survival» discusses the attachment types: safe, avoiding, anxious-ambivalent. It is concluded that it is difficult to overestimate the importance of child-parent relations for the adaptation of the child in society and his ability to establish contacts with other people. | 3791 | The main idea of the article is to analyze the features of the functioning of verb predicates in description-portrait. There are 11 lexical-semantic groups (LSG) of non-active verb predicates verbalized the visual modality with meaning of 1. placement in space, 2. position predicates, 3. with semantic of the form of the object, 4. space borders predicates, 5. coverage of the subject, 6. spatial ratio of objects, 7. filling of space, 8. characteristic of the flat surface of the object, 9. direction in space, 10. location in space, 11. isolation based on light / color characteristics of the object. Description-portrait imposes certain restrictions on the use of non-active verb predicates of 11 LSG and predicates with intermodal meaning. The verb predicates that characterize the form of the object are the most frequent in the description-portrait. The predicates with semantics of placement in space, of the space filling and direction in space, as well as tactile and taste intermodal predicates are not productive in this thematic variety of description. Active verb predicates function in the context of a description-portrait with an invariant meaning of existence. As well as nonactive predicates, they are able to verbalize the spatial characteristics of description objects. | 3792 | Introduction. The article indicates the relevance of the problem of changes in the process of teachers’ training for intercultural interaction in a region. The authors identified the key tasks, the solution of which will help in the further design of a predictive model for the development of the teacher training system. The aim of the research is to substantiate the stages of designing a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction. Material and methods. The leading methods of the current research is the analysis of theoretical literature. The choice of such research approaches as structural and structural-functional make it possible to characterize the process of preparing teachers for intercultural interaction as multicomponent, multilevel and multistage in the context of interaction between the regional education system and the system of higher education in the Russian Federation. Results and discussion. The stages of designing a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction are proposed, the essence of the concepts of “training teachers” and “changes in training” is substantiated, strategies for organizing the training of teachers for intercultural interaction are indicated (overcoming the existing linearity, practice orientation and continuity and strategies for advanced learning). Moreover, the authors of the current research analyze the role of the factors that affect the process of teachers’ training for intercultural interaction. Thus, socio-political factors determine a new understanding of the strategy for the development of higher pedagogical education in the context of strengthening ethno-cultural processes (legislation in the field of regional policy development, the position of the state in the field of regulating ethnic processes and the dissemination of ideas for the preservation of ethnic cultures; growth of ethnocultural processes). Regional factors determine the specificity of the region development (the demographic structure of the population, social mobility, dynamically changing requirements of the labor market). Personal factors explain the necessity of correction and the new aims development in higher pedagogical education within the specificity of ethno-cultural diversity (the readiness of teachers for intercultural interaction; pedagogical initiatives, a framework program for teachers’ training to intercultural interaction). Conclusion. Based on the study, it was suggested that the result of the next study should be the development of components of a predictive model for preparing teachers for intercultural interaction.
