| 4361 | An experiment, which was conducted in order to identify the features of perception of individual media discourse of a presenter of author’s programs “News of the Week” and “Parfenov” was described. The programs were compared in terms of format, the image of the presenter, the persuasiveness, the target audience and others. The comparison is made on the basis of analysis and generalization of data, which were obtained in the form of answers-reactions of informants after viewing intros and fragments of programs “News of the Week” and “Parfenov”. The differences in the perception of the individual media discourse of TV journalists D. Kiselev and L. Parfenov the author connects primarily to the status of programs. Individual media discourse of the journalist Dmitry Kiselyov is charachterised by the general “peremptoriness” and “imposing”. The journalist follows the format and status of the program “Vesti Nedeli”, realizing his role in the information policy of the state. The individual media discourse of journalist L. Parfenov is characterized by a friendly dialogue. Herewith, using not typical trics for the news programs the journalist shocks the viewing audience and offers them to form an opinion independently. | 4362 | Introduction. The use of poetic texts as didactic materials is an effective method of teaching Russian as a foreign language. This study aims to describe the methodological and linguistic aspects of interpreting perceptual semantics in poetic works by Marina Tsvetaeva. The interpretation of literary works in perceptual terms facilitates understanding these works’ messages and provides an opportunity for studying and applying units with the meaning of perception in communicative practice. Material and methods. The material for the study was poems by Marina Tsvetaeva with a pronounced semantics of perception (270 poems, 547 contexts). The main research methods were the linguo-stylistic analysis of the texts, the conceptual and semantic analysis of the keywords, and a linguocultural commentary. Results and discussion. When selecting poems for lessons in a foreign-language audience, it is essential to take into account the students’ cognitive interest, the principle of accessibility, and the principle of the methodological value of the poems for studying. When interpreting texts and analyzing perceptual images, foreign students encounter lexical, grammatical, stylistic, and linguocultorological difficulties. By successfully overcoming the difficulties, students perceive the messages and the emotional tonalities of the poems. The titles of certain poems set “perceptual dominants” conceptually expressed in the further semantic development of the text (“V Sumerkakh” [At Dusk], “Luch Serebristyy” [Ray of Silver], “Nochnye Shepota: Shelka . . .” [Night Whispers: Silk . . .], etc.). Tasks on the analysis of perceptual images and the linguo-poetic analysis of poems must be formulated in accordance with the main stages of the lesson. The actualization of skills and abilities involves the use of individual perceptual experience and information available to students about literary texts. Pre-reading tasks aim to capture the readers’ interest and encourage them to be creative (conceptual guess and comparison). Reading tasks aim to analyze the means of expressing perceptual images at the lexical, grammatical, and stylistic levels of the poem. The focus is on keywords with perceptual semantics. Post-reading tasks aim to generalize and interpret the material. Conclusion. The linguo-stylistic analysis of poems by Marina Tsvetaeva in terms of perception allows foreign students to present one of the options for interpreting the texts using their linguistic and sensory experience. The students understand the functions perceptual units perform, observe the implementation of direct and figurative meanings of keywords, and see how the author expresses her intention at all the levels of the texts. | 4363 | Introduction. The study of precedential phenomena is extremely important for modern linguistics. They can be explored in different spheres and aspects, which depends on the aims of research. This article deals with precedential phenomena in political discourse. Aim and objectives. The aim is a comparative research of national precedential phenomena which function in Russian political discourse and of their translation into the English language. The objectives of this paper are to define methodology of the research, to select the necessary language material and to find the ways of translation of precedential phenomena taken from Russian culture into English. Material and methods. The methodology of the research is based on the cognitive linguistics theory. The methods are cognitive modelling, discourse analysis, comparative analysis. The selection of the material was carried out with the solid sampling method. To analyze and systematize the material a method of description was used. The material for the study were sampled out from the official website of the Russian president Vladimir Putin. Results and discussion. The results of the research showed that political discourse is a very productive sphere for the creation of national precedential phenomena. As a rule, precedential phenomena in political discourse are very specific. Their source can be found either in the sphere of politics or historic events of the nation. Precedential phenomena in political discourse usually have a short life span. There types are precedential texts, names and expressions. While translating national precedential phenomena, interpreters prefer to use concrete definition, equivalents or analogues of phraseological units. Sometimes precedential phenomena are lost in translation. Conclusion. So national precedential phenomena represent an important characteristic of political discourse. They serve as a link between the author and the recipient, make the speech more vivid and emotional and influence the audience in a specific way. But their national peculiarities often impede the translation process. Anyway some knowledge of cultural sources is necessary for correct interpretation and understanding of precedential phenomena. | 4364 | Subject Olympiads in domestic and world pedagogy are a time-tested means of finding and selecting talented and gifted youth. The request of modern society to educate and nurture creative specialists who are able to think nonlinearly in an uncertain context leads to an appeal to the means of creative competitions and olympiads. In the Russian scientific literature, the term “Olympiad movement” is used in various interpretations, which caused the problem of our research. The purpose of the article is to clarify the scientific and terminological apparatus in the modern context of the development of practices for the implementation of Olympiads. We rely on the principles of systemic, activity, axiological and cultural approaches, based on the author’s pedagogical concept of the implementation of subject olympiads. We mainly use theoretical methods – analysis of scientific literature on the topic, generalization, categorization, modeling. The empirical experience we gained while working with Olympiads also served as the basis of the study, the main methods are observation and conversation. As a result of the study, it was proved that the Olympiad movement is a pedagogical system for the implementation of subject Olympiads in various disciplines, which is implemented in schools and universities, its sociocultural functions and components are determined; we built a model of the Olympiad movement in Russia as well. Scientific novelty is manifested in the clarification of the term “Olympiad movement,” along with the construction of a model of this phenomenon in the domestic theory and practice of implementations of intellectual competitions. The theoretical significance lies in the increment of knowledge in pedagogical theory along with the clarification of the term that is used in the domestic tradition. At a practical level, the results of the study can be used by scientists for future research, as well as to clarify the regulatory framework of a legal nature. | 4376 | The article contains the research results of different levels of interpretation and perception of hagiographic texts about saint old man, Fedor Tomskiy, written for children’s readership, recipients of adolescence in Tomsk. The results of experiment are provided according to the horizon of reader’s expectations, to the analysis of which the first part of the article is devoted. The pretext experiment, based on a questionnaire survey among the pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools of Tomsk, had the aim to identify different types of readers, belonging to secular and religious cultures, which affected their ideas of hagiographic genre, phenomenon of sanctity and knowledge of particular saints. The perception of hagiographic works for children by pupils of Sunday schools and general education schools in Tomsk was studied during the second experiment. This research was conducted within the receptive aesthetics which is aimed to study the reader’s response to works and particularities of text’s perception. And the functional reality of work is determined by interacting of the reader and the textual structure. Modern works of art and religion, written for young reader, have different formal and informative levels, modal and value plans. The understanding of difficult textual structure happens only in the process of its specification by recipient. The recipient determines relevance and semantic content of the work, distinguishes emotional and semantic dominant of the text in the process of aesthetic perception. In the course of the experiment, a correlation was found between the reader’s reception of the text and the pretextfactors. The main factor in perception of art and religious text is secular or religious world view. It is here too spoken about history of occurrence and sonnet development in the countries of Europe and in Azerbaijan, basic principles and rules that are necessary for observing to the poets addressing to this genre of poetry irrespective of language and places of creation are specified. Besides, convincing arguments in favor of preservation of national color and traditional poetic means are resulted at use of the form of a sonnet in various national literatures.
