In this paper the author analyses the cases of complete etymological explanation of Proto-Uralic, Proto-Finno-Ugric, Proto-Finno-Permic, Proto-Finno-Volgaic and Proto-Ugric words (morphological derivatives and compounds), grammatical and lexical doubleting, complicated doubleting, analogical grammatical derivation with etymological alternation of suffixes, as well as the cases of analogical semantic compoundes and morphological derivatives. The author established some regular correlations on the level of parallel protolanguage phonology. The author also makes some considerations about ancient Yenissei-Uralic protolanguage alliances.

Petrochenko L.A. EXPRESSIVE MEANS OF MODERN ENGLISH WORD-FORMATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 11 (176). P. 72-75

The article deals with the peculiarities of rhyming compounds which are usually used as a means of speech expressiveness, but don’t belong to the system of rhyming slang. Rhyming compounds represent the group of minor types of word-formation in Modern English. The members of the group are less important in comparison with the other ways of replenishing the English vocabulary, but they play an important role in the field of expressive means of language. The meaning of rhyming compounds is diverse and often unpredictable; they usually denote quantity or intensity. Rhyming compounds are formed by repetition of roots with some changes in the vowels or/and consonants. The system of the word-formation type in question is rather stable and tends to increase.

In the Faddeev formulation of gravity, the metric is regarded as composite eld, bilinear of d = 10 4-vector fields. A unique feature is that this formulation admits the discontinuous elds. On the discrete level, when spacetime is decomposed into the elementary 4-simplices, this means that the 4-simplices may not coincide on their common faces, that is, be independent. We apply this to the particular problem of quantization of the surface regarded as that composed of virtually independent elementary pieces (2-simplices). We nd the area spectrum being proportional to the Barbero-Immirzi parameter y in the Faddeev gravity and described as a sum of spectra of separate areas. According to the known in the literature approach, we nd that exists ensuring Bekenstein-Hawking relation for the statistical black hole entropy for arbitrary d, in particular, y = 0:39... for genuine d = 10.

The paper deals with some common problems we face when teaching adult language learners, in particular learners who have considerable experience of studying but still seem to be stuck at the lower levels of elementary and pre-intermediate due to their low self-esteem, high level of anxiety, and fear of making mistakes. Adult learners face difficulties when listening to the target language. Nevertheless, the types and the extent of difficulty differ and much listening comprehension research has been conducted to investigate these differences. The second half of the XIX century is the heyday of the provincial statistics. The reason for this was the conversion in the early sixties the provincial statistical committee, which until that time was held with the governor’s office. Since that time, the statistics committee became an independent institution, which attracted intellectuals to work in the province, as every more or less educated person was invited as a member of this committee. Ufa Provincial Statistical Committee was created in May 1865 on the basis of Orenburg Provincial Statistical Committee. As mentioned above, in the organization of the Committee actively participated along with government officials a number of local historians: R. G. Ignatiev, V.S. and M. V. Lossievskiye, G. S. Rybakov, V. L. Olszewski, V. A. Novikov, P. I. Dobrotvorsky, A. A. Packer, A. B. Ivanitskii and many others. The biggest contribution was made to the organization of its activities by the member of the secretary N. A. Gurvich. Under his leadership, was held a lot of work, which contributed to the development of statistical work in Ufa province. This article considers organization of the activities of Provincial Statistical Committee of Ufa Province during the second half of the 19th century, which has made a definite contribution to the account of the population, real and personal property, which in turn influenced the strengthening of the economy of the region and definition of strategy for government social and economic development of the region.

The article deals with the creation of the image of the Russian epistolary on the material of the letters of linguistic personalities of elitist type of speech culture (M. V. Nesterov, F. I. Modeling of the genre image as part of the speech of native speakers of consciousness is carried out in the axialogical with the help of metagenre comments of the listed addressees  the best representatives of the Russian creative intelligentsia of the ХХХХ™ centuries. It is concluded that in the minds of the speech of this type epistolary occupies a definite place, has a high degree of significance, recognizability, differentiation with respect to other genres, is an active reflection carriers. Contribute to this genre such properties as poly-and full-featured, polidiskursivity, multy-code, reproducibility, Plate Making build, and syncretism of different kinds of characteristics: content-themed polyphony, a variety of illocutionary author’s installations, multiple categories of epistolary addressee in complex epistolary dialogism, diverse palette of language means representation of author’s intent, varies stylistic markedness texts. Axiological characteristic epistolary determined by its key function - communication, allowing classing epistolary texts to a special kind of speech products  “antropotekstov” (N. D. Golev).

The author considers the results of typological analysis of terminological units of scientific style of American variant of English in lexical-semantic field ‘renewable energy sources’ in the present article. Types of terminological units of scientific style in lexical-semantic field ‘renewable energy sources’ of American variant of English were defined. Among terminological units single component terminological units and multi-component terminological units, acronyms and acronymous compounds, nomenclature units, preterminological units, and occasionalisms were found in the texts of scientific style of American variant of English in the sphere of ‘renewable energy sources’. Linguistic characteristics of terminological units of scientific style in lexical-semantic field ‘renewable energy sources’ of American variant of English were given.

The article presents the results of a study on the formation of self-competence of university students through interactive computer technologies. We developed criteria, indicators and tools to determine self-educational competence formation of university students through interactive computer technology. Diagnosis of high school students conducted by electronic tests and questionnaires are available on the websites and moodle.gasu.ru and ank. gasu.ru. To prove the existence of statistically significant differences in the level of development of self-competence in the control and experimental groups was used Fisher’s test. After statistical analysis of experimental data it can be concluded that students of control and experimental groups have significant differences caused not only by random factors but a certain legitimate reason. The reason was the experimental work performance to implement structural and functional models for self-educational competence formation of university students through interactive computer technology.

To solve this problem it is proposed to use Museum funds when teaching students to plan tour messages. The work of pupils in the period of preparation and carrying out of excursions activates learning process, improves the quality of education. The immersion of pupils in certain lingvistic regional studies museum environment becomes a means of their spiritual and moral education, formation and development of their linguistic identity. The article aims to give a definition of school-Museum learning tools; on the example of Khakas schools to consider their application in teaching students of grades 5–8 to plan tour messages on the lessons of language development, in-class and extracurricular activities, describe the program of teaching research of the tour speech by the students.

The article considers repetition in language as one of the most prominent means of expression in formation of individual style of fictional work’s author. On the example of Ossetian writers’ works it is convincingly proved that repetition is not only one of the means of organizing retrospection and prospection in the text, but also a way of expressing subjective modality. Aesthetic and expressive effect of repetition increases considerably during the use of different kinds of duplication: phonetic-phonological, lexical, morphemic and morphological, semantic and syntactic. The type of repetitions and their functional yield are directly dependent on the genre varieties of fiction text. In the author’s narrative reasoning text they mainly perform modal-expressive function, and in the descriptive texts they express author’s subjective attitude to the displayed.

The article considers a methodical study of the distance learning process of a large number of gifted schoolchildren for additional general developmental programs. The author has analyzed the relevance of distance learning, the issues of systematic work with gifted schoolchildren, the supplementary education problems and the most perspective forms of work with children interested in natural science disciplines. The article presents the description of the profile supplementary educational environment for high school students, created and implemented by the Correspondence Physics and Technology School (ZFTSH), contributing to the development of their intellectual potential and their need to continue self-education, and the format of working with teachers. The author has determined the advantages of working on the online platform. The article contains the formulation of the additional educational ZFTSH programs implementation results. The methodological recommendations on the organization of distance learning for students on additional general development programs of natural sciences consist of three part: (1) high-quality educational and methodical materials; (2) the chain of close interaction: child - teacher - methodologist - parent; (3) convenience, efficiency, scalability, manufacturability of the online platform. ZFTSH represents the general federal system of selection and training of talented youth at the stage of pre-university supplementary education and, in essence, activities have been established to improve the skills of teachers of physics and mathematics through the work of the ZFTSH curriculum and the system of continuing education courses held annually at MIPT.

We study a one-dimensional large-N U(N) gauge theory on a circle as a toy model of higher dimensional Yang-Mills theories. We nd a new class of saddle point solutions in this theory. These solutions are characterized by the expectation values of the Polyakov loop operators, which wind the circle different times. We nd two evidences that these solutions appear as intermediate states in certain dynamical processes. One is from a numerical calculation and another is from the dual gravity. The similar solutions exist in a wide class of SU(N) and U(N) gauge theories on S1 including QCD and pure Yang-Mills theories in various dimensions if N >= 3.

In this article we can see the application of Marxian and Weberian conceptions of estrangement for the description of the conditions of work and education in the USA in the 19th century. If in the Marxian conception the estrangement in capitalistic society increases permanently, then in Weberian conception the estrangement weakens by the increase of qualification and by the reformation labour ethics of “beruf”. However in case of the USA we can see what the estrangement was not weakened owing to reformation labour ethics of “beruf”, but owing to diversification of possibilities. The problem of estrangement is a problem of development of capitalism but it needs its own methodology.
