The problem if the power at Mьller is interfaced to a problem of fault and historical memory. Future loss for heroes of the tragedy – a consequence of their crimes in front of Colchis, requital for shed blood. Understanding of the power by Razumovskaya's heroes are realized through opposition of social functions of the hero and the tsar in which the first is unconditionally disinterested, resolute, selfsacrificing while the second can be the strategist acting in interests of the city, or the liar. Medea's love, conducting it to crimes, also is treated differently. In questions of a ratio corporal and spiritual in love authors act as successors of various cultural traditions: German modernism and Russian of “ascetic materialism”. The statutes and reports of these organizations are valuable sources, significantly broadening and refining our understanding of the history of volunteerism in Russia in the second half of the 19th century. Reflecting the nature of society itself, they contain information about their composition (quantitative and personal), organizational structure, subordinate organizations and activities, as well as practices of public volunteers. Thanks to the availability of such a document as the charter, members of the society first got an idea of the procedure for using the rights granted to them and the sphere of application of volunteer efforts and free labor. The article analyzes statutes and reports of the Tver Charitable Society for the Promotion of Women’s Labor, the Orenburg Slavic Charitable Society, the Arkhangelsk Sobriety Society, the Odessa Society for Combating Drunkenness, the Charitable Society for the Publication of Useful and Cheap Books, the Society for the Improvement of National Labor in Memory of the Tsar Liberator Alexander II, the Charitable Society for the Protection of Animals, the St. Petersburg Slavic Charitable Society, and others.

Kacheva E.V., Borchenko I.D., Abramovskikh T.A. DIAGNOSTICS AS A MECHANISM FOR CREATING CONDITIONS ENSURING THE LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF THE TEACHER FOR WORK IN THE DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 5 (217). P. 124-132

Introduction. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that today, in the period of the accelerating process of development and implementation of e-learning and distance learning technologies, the creation of a promising educational system, it is necessary to anticipate and forestall the emerging very contradictory problems. One of them is the demand for scientific and pedagogical workers who possess the necessary skills to carry out work in the electronic information and educational environment of the institute, and their insufficient training for the successful application of these technologies in professional activities. The goal is to identify the level of professional competence of scientific and pedagogical workers in order to organize activities in the digital educational environment. Material and methods. The methodological basis of the study was the psychological concept of the subject-activity approach, the essence of which lies in the idea of the person as an active subject, self-improving, self-actualizing and self-determining. The idea of this approach is based on the connection between the cognitive and activity mechanisms of the subject’s involvement in the external environment and assumes that he has a stable personal position on his own transformation and development. No less important is the second approach – acmeological – increasing the teacher’s professional competencies through informal forms of professional development. Results and discussion. The article presents an analysis of the problem of training scientific and pedagogical workers for the development of additional professional programs developed in the format of digital educational resources in the context of an accelerated change in the social and professional environment due to the expansion of digital technologies. The authors’ attention is focused on diagnosing digital competencies of specialists. The study of the digital competence of the scientific and pedagogical workers of the institute made it possible to determine the influence of the digital educational space on their professional development and to reveal the level of their readiness to participate in didactic communications using digital technologies. Conclusion. Thus, it should be noted that the diagnostics made it possible to fully assess the level of the institute’s employees with the competencies necessary to work in a digital educational environment, including for the development and implementation of additional professional programs in the format of digital educational resources. So, after the proposed number of forms of advanced training for teachers of the institute, in December 2021, a second diagnosis will be carried out, which will show the dynamics of increasing professional competence in terms of work in a digital educational environment.

Malyakova N.S. SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL ASPECTS IN THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL TRADITION OF RUSSIAN EDUCATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 2 (220). P. 7-18

Introduction. Civilizational challenges to a person determine the need to actualize the humanistic paradigm in education. An example of the search for ways of humanization is the direction of social-emotional-ethical training, developed at Emory University in the USA, which is based on the idea of holistic human development by means of education. Within the framework of the grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research “Direction of socio-emotional and ethical education”, the aim was set to identify the features of Russian education in the implementation of this humanistic idea. Material and methods. The analysis is based on the concept of “anthropological tradition” as a systematic characteristic of the ideas about the integral education of a person, which gives an idea of the pedagogical experience, its preservation and further development, starting from the fundamental works of K. D. Ushinsky and up to the present day: at the stages of Russian, Soviet and Russian schools. Results and discussion. The article provides a genetic analysis of the idea of the emotional development of a child in education in relation to the social component. Two aspects of its development are highlighted: emotional-social (psychophysiological) and socio-emotional (socio-cultural). The features of the development of the emotional and social line in the works of scientists of the Russian school are considered and the continuity with the stage of the Soviet school in psychological works is revealed. The genetic analysis of the development of the socio-cultural line revealed two main directions in the interaction of social and emotional components: artistic and aesthetic and social inheritance of the cultural tradition of Russia. The study of the emotional-social direction shows the continuity of the anthropological tradition: from the provisions of K. D. Ushinsky on the need to use the power of human emotions in his education along with the intellectual sphere – to the research of the emotional sphere carried out within the framework of pedology – and further to psychological research on the importance of human interests and needs in his upbringing. In the socio-emotional direction, the continuity of emotional saturation of socialization of children and adolescents in artistic and aesthetic creativity is revealed: from the experience of the beginning of the last century in organizing the life of children’s communities to the modern practice of additional education of children. The spiritual orientation of the social inheritance of cultural values of society is also highlighted. The conclusion is made about the need for further development of the experience of combining emotional and social components in modern conditions that require overcoming the risks associated with the growing human crisis and the social transformation of childhood.

In the process of self-development, the teacher actualizes theoretical knowledge and gains new practical experience. This allows him to rationally choose the means for pedagogical actions, effectively, technologically, valeologically carry out pedagogical activities. There is a need to form a teacher’s value orientations for self-development and self-determination. The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the possibility of using the resources of the digital educational environment to develop value orientations for continuous self-development and self-organization among teachers. The methodology and research methods are based on the characterization of pedagogical activity as a creative process, the analysis of the effectiveness of pedagogical activity in the characteristics of activity from the standpoint of a praxeological approach, the use of reflective self-assessment to form the teacher’s value orientations for self-development. The teacher’s value orientations towards continuous self-development and self-organization contribute to the creative self-realization of the teacher and the improvement of the quality and awareness of pedagogical work. Reflective assessment of actions allows the teacher to find deficiencies in the implementation of labor functions and ways to eliminate them. It is concluded that the formation of teacher’s value orientations for self-development and self-organization is an important task of pedagogical education. The theoretical significance of the study is determined by the model of the process of creative solution of a cognitive task by a teacher in a digital educational environment based on a praxeological approach. The practical significance is the range of possibilities of the digital educational environment for the teacher’s selfdevelopment and self-organization.

Stepovaya V.I. ENGLISH-LANGUAGE RECEPTION OF N. V. GOGOL’S COMEDY “THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR” IN THE TRANSLATION INTERPRETATION BY K. GARNETT. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 192-205

Introduction. The choice of approach to the analysis of literary translation in this article is explained by the fact that interpretation in translation involves co-creation of the translator and the author of the original work, so that a new understanding of it can arise. Aim and objectives. The aim of the article is to identify the differences between the author’s interpretation of the comedy “The Government Inspector” and its translation interpretation by K. Garnett. It will allow us to see the semantic transformations of the work as it penetrates into the English-speaking culture. Material and methods. The material of the research is the comedy “The Government Inspector” by N. V. Gogol and its translation into English, made by the British translator K. Garnett in 1926. The methodology of this research is based on a comparative method, as well as a method for studying translation through the concept of “translation interpretation”. Results and discussion. The translator does not put the name “Silent scene” in a separate title and writes it in small italics merged with the previous text. This reduces its significance for English readers. In addition, K. Garnett in the translation of the play removes the division into scenes, which supports the classical symmetry and correctness of architectonics, while demonstrating the subordination of being to the divine plan. This suggests that in the understanding of the translator there were no initially harmonious laws of human existence. As for anthroponomy, all the names and surnames of the characters are conveyed by K. Garnett using transliteration. This means that for the English-speaking reader, their “speaking” meaning is lost. At the same time, this method of translation may also have a deeper meaning. In the original work, the characters are united by their involvement in vice, the symbolic embodiment of which they are. They are also connected by a common expectation of punishment for their actions and, undoubtedly, by belonging to the same people, since this issue was important for Gogol. It embodies the influence of the romanticism traditions on him. In comedy, the unity of the people demonstrates, in particular, the common national character of the dramatic personae. The presence and nature of the vice in each individual case is expressed, among other things, by the name of the character. But since this semantics is lost due to transliteration in translation, the connecting thread becomes less obvious to English-speaking reader. The loss of the original semantics of belonging of heroes to a common nation is facilitated by the translation of phraseological phrases, proverbs and sayings found in the original text. In the translation by K. Garnett, the idiomatic speech of the characters, indicating their folk character, was largely reduced. A similar feature is the frequent replacement of colloquial expressions of heroes with lexemes of the literary language. Therefore, the characters’ speech becomes more neutral and loses its expressiveness. Due to the prevailing number of such transformations, the characters of the dramatic personae in the translation of the comedy can hardly be called folk. Regarding the translation of Russian realities, it should be noted that K. Garnett replaced many of them with English ones. And although we cannot say that this applies to all realities, but they are the absolute majority, which cannot but affect readers reception. Among other things, K. Garnett adds a Gendarme to the list of actors, which does not correspond to Gogol’s conception. The Gendarme in the comedy acts as a “herald of the Last judgment” and his figure shows “transpersonal power”, which is why he is not on the stage of the theater. However, the appearance of the Gendarme in the list of actors in the translation text completely deprives him of the opportunity to embody the hand of God. Together with the “Silent scene” leveling this deprives comedy its significance and true meaning, which Gogol sought to express. Conclusion. The emergence of such a version of the comedy translation can be attributed to the fact that K. Garnett worked at the beginning of the modernist era, “the root characteristic of the literature of which is, in particular, the belief in the isolation, alienation and ultimate absurdity of each individual existence and the entire macrocosm of reality”. This largely contributes to the formalistic approach to poetics, which in this case is chosen by the translator. This is expressed in the fact that K. Garnett reproduces the text without taking into account the influence of the author’s biography and views. It cannot also be said that the cultural and historical context of the original and Gogol’s reception of literary traditions were sufficiently taken into account. Transformations in translation have led to the fact that characters are perceived as part of a faceless crowd, each member of which is not connected by anything, and not as people drawing inspiration from their unity. The characters are still together waiting for the Government Inspector, but the meaning of his appearance loses its sacred meaning of God’s punishment. In this interpretation, the existence of comedy characters appears absurd and even tragic to some extent, since there is no positive or negative dynamics. Thus, although the original author’s meaning was not recreated by K. Garnett in the translation of “The Government Inspector” into English, it can be stated that a new one that conveys a sense of hopelessness at the turn of the XIX−XX centuries has emerged.

The article is based on the author’s generalization of the experience of teaching subjects for bachelors and undergraduates in the field of «Speech Therapy» and «Oligophrenopedagogics» with the inclusion of neuropsychological exercises in the structure of lectures and seminars. The following methods were used: theoretical analysis of scientific literature, materials and publications of the psychological and pedagogical press, questionnaires and interviews of students in the remote learning format during the summer session of 2020. Results and discussion. Changing the educational environment with the advent of digital reality in higher education involves the development of new ways and forms of learning, the inclusion of means of activating students in order to reduce the risks of remote education. Significant problems of digitalization of education are prevention of weakening of cognitive processes, activation of learning motivation, development of self-control of educational activities. The expediency of using neuropsychological exercises as a tool that stimulates higher mental functions of students in higher education is shown. As a result of a questionnaire survey of 213 full-time and part-time students in the direction of preparation 44.03.03 Special (defectological) education in the profile of «Speech therapy» and «Oligophrenopedagogy», projected results of the use of neuropsychological exercises to increase the productivity of learning in the online format were revealed.
