| 4905 | Introduction. The material of historical essays by E. P. Kovalevsky, devoted to the events of the Danube campaign, which was practically not studied before, is presented in the work. The aim of the work is to study the genre content of Kovalevsky’s essays and determine their role in the literary process of the 1850s. Material and methods. The research focuses on the work “Three chapters from the political and military history of 1853, 1854 and 1855”, written by a direct participant of the events and at the same time a representative of official circles. Published in “Otechestvennye Zapiski” in 1856, it is considered in comparison with the work “The War with Turkey and the severance with the Western powers in 1853 and 1854” which was published for political reasons only in 1866. The research uses comparative and cultural-historical methods. Results and discussion. The research shows that Kovalevsky’s essays are the first artistic interpretation of the Danube campaign events against the background of official circles’ silence on the political reasons for the beginning of the Crimean war. The originality of the author’s creative manner is shown in the synthesis of a documentary narrative with elements of essay and story. The problems of essays (the problem of the hero, patriotism) and their poetics (the description of nature, the role of the narrator) expand the horizons of the author’s creative search and give an impetus to understanding and presenting new material (form and content) to contemporaries. Conclusion. Typological features of the historical essay and its artistic features in the work of Kovalevsky are revealed. The study of the essay genre on the example of Kovalevsky’s “war stories” makes it possible to build a line of creative continuity in Russian literature (Tolstoy and Dostoevsky). This work will be useful for scientists of historical and philological profile: from the point of view of genesis, the synthetic nature of the essay genre and the literary and factual context of the events of the Crimean campaign. | 4916 | The article describes the origin of berry terminology in Selkup. Results of full collection of selkup words belonged to the subject lexical group “berry flora”. The analysis of these linguistic units allows tracing the development process and name formation of berries in selkup language and also to single out the principle of naming units. Further data integration makes it possible to examine the semes which are the bases of naming flora lexemes according to productivity criterion. The study was carried out due to the theory of transferring linguistic world image with the help of symbols taken from collective unconsciousness and kept the meanings of world image. The method of component analysis which reconstructed the meanings of unproductive naming units was used for analyzing. This method allows explaining the meaning of berry flora words with the help of dividing lexemes into small meaningful units. Twenty three selkup berry flora words were analyzed and there were eight principles of naming units that formed such groups as berry functioning connected with its picking up and using as a food, connection of some berries with certain kinds of birds, colour characteristics of berries, mythological ideas of selkup people, curing period and berrying, taste properties of berries. | 4918 | The paper analyses figurative expressions with the denomination “bread” in the French and Russian languages. Figurative expressions of a language serve as an important source for getting information about national world perception because they reflect the spiritual and material culture in the language. The choice for figurative expressions with the components representing food is explained by the fact that food is one of the most vivid elements of national culture which is connected with the native speakers’ understanding of their national specificity. Although the French and Russian cuisines have distinctive features, four products are archetypically significant for both cultures: bread, butter, milk and honey. Their denominations in both languages are very widely represented in figurative expressions. The image of bread is the most significant one in the French and Russian cultures; figurative expressions with this component in both languages are based on the archetype of bread as the symbol of life, well-being and wealth. We believe that for assessing the potential of a figurative expression of a language it is necessary to combine the linguoculturological analysis with the analysis of discursive realization of a studied linguistic unit in different types of discourse. Thus the French figural expression “avoir du pain sur la planche” was analyzed both linguoculturologically and discursively in three meanings. The results have shown that this expression is widely used in different types of modern discourse only in one of its meanings. The results prove that discursive realization is the key element for studying figurative expressions and it should become the key component for complex investigation of the figurative layer of a language. Keywords: figurative layer of a language, figurative expressions, phraseological fund of a language, food denominations, the French cuisine, the Russian cuisine, linguoculturological analysis, discursive realization analysis, the Russian language, the French langua | 1830 | |||||
| 4919 | The article presents the results of I. A. Kuratov’s lyrics analysis through the prism of its subject structure. The analysis found that the lyric poet is multy subject system containing various subjective forms of the author’s consciousness expressions: the actual author, lyrical hero, the author-narrator, the hero «role» of the lyrics. Kuratov’s lyrical system is oriented towards the samples of realistic Russian and world lyricism, which has already mastered polysubject forms by the 19th century. Development by the poet of different forms of expression of author’s consciousness is connected with extension of the thematic contents of poetry. An analysis of poetic material made it possible to reveal the unconditional connection between the choice of the forms of expression of the author’s consciousness and the semantic aspect of Kuratov’s works. However polysubjectivity is characteristic of certain verses by Kuratov, which creates a poetic polyphony, and expand the functions of direct speech. Studying poetic works of Komi poet through the prism of their subjective system makes it possible to reveal not only the immanent features of Kuratov’s lyricism, but also to present the place and role of I. Kuratov in the development of the subject sphere and the poetic system of the lyrics of komi of the 1850s-1870s. Keywords: Komi poetry of the 19th century, I. A. | 4920 | An important task of domestic pedagogy is the search for technologies that allow the development of a personality not only in the cognitive, but also the motivational-usual and emotional-volitional spheres. It is proved that, depending on the type of virtual reality (VR) as a special teaching method, it is required to revise the role of the teacher and the conditions of interaction between the teacher and the students in order to master the latter educational content. A review of domestic and foreign experience in applying virtual reality technologies in educational practice is presented. By the means of historical and pedagogical analysis, it has been proved that to date in the scientific literature there are no longitudinal studies that allow us to assess the influence of forced cognitive development on the harmonization of the personal development of children and the intensive development of the school curriculum, especially in preschool and primary school age. The article reveals the concept of an immersive educational environment, its influence on the development of the personality of the student at various levels of general education is noted. The thesis is justified that virtual reality as an educational technology and a special educational environment can be programmed and reproduced using a computer program and stimulate schoolchildren to perform certain educational actions according to a pre-planned scenario. Based on the analysis of the experience of teaching children in immersive environments, the authors note the possibilities of their application for the cognitive development of the personality of schoolchildren at various levels of education. The ideas of teachers of the primary and basic school on the developmental capabilities of VR are described. | 4939 | The paper analyzes Nina Berberova’s narrative experimentations in her short stories written in 1930s. They are connected with theatricality used both as a method of characters’self-reflection and as a mode to represent the émigré reality on behalf of the author. Berberova’s interest to theatricality started with extended attention to means to represent dialogical character of communication without dominating narrator. Her work on Madame (staged in 1938) influenced narrative structure of some of her prosaic texts as well. Several ideas find their way into the text in connection with theater and theatricality as a quality of reality. One of them is lack of independence on behalf of an actor; the other is interference between the actor and their part in a play. Depiction of theatricality is not static and its function develops from oppressing a character and forcing him out of life for non-conformance, through theater as an asylum from perils of life, to a global power, which is while alien, is not antagonistic but indifferent to human endeavors. Aesthetic principle serves as uniting the reality and the author hails its understanding as an important distinction of a character. Characters of latter stories are trying to enjoy the spectacle instead of rebelling against it. Putting aesthetic in the center of the world pushes Berberova from her earlier associations with writers in the style of human document closer to Vladimir Nabokov.
