The author shows that the ability of the philosophical perception of the world is formed in the children’s games by certain toys. The content of the boys’ game is changing historically, as it is linked to the progress in technology and weaponry, and the girls’ games are historically unchanged, as they are related to the imitation of family life and child care. | 5152 | The article deals with the peculiarities of using language quantifiers which express time measurements in Modern English. According to a widespread conception in the literature of linguistics and philosophy, space and time are deeply intertwined with each other, both in language and in underlying concepts. As both space and time can be measured the category of measure and its language representatives are inseparably connected with space-time system. To gain a better insight into the relations between time and measure the revealed language means have been gathered into certain groups, which form the structure of the functional-semantic field representing the category of time. The core of the field is represented by the metric system of time measurements and some traditional units used in Englishspeaking countries. The latter part of the core is rather small in number. Of special interest are inaccurate and unspecified measures, forming the peripheral zone of the functional-semantic field under discussion. | 5153 | Introduction. The article focuses on the ways scientists express expert evaluation in German academic linguistic reviews. It contributes to the socio-communicative research on evaluation in academic communicative settings. Aim. The aim of the article is to reveal the most frequent strategies of implicit expert evaluation in German linguistic reviews. Material and methods. The materials of the study are 25 reviews published in 2016–2017 in field-specific academic journals: “Zeitschrift für Angewandte Linguistik”, “Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft” and “Zeitschrift für Rezensionen”. Qualitative (contextual semantic, functional pragmatic) and quantitative analysis of the German linguistic reviews provides a set of strategies used to covertly evaluate the papers reviewed. Results and discussion. We consider the expert evaluation as a specific communicative / discursive sub-type of linguistic evaluation marked by modifications of the general logical structure in terms of “subject – object – predicate of evaluation”. Adding the recipient of evaluation we obtain following structure: the subject and the recipient of expert evaluation are scientific discourse actors, the object is represented by formal and content-related aspects of the books reviewed and the predicate of expert evaluation are criteria of scientificity, norms, values and standards of communication shared by all members of the current scientific community. Our data analysis results support our hypothesis and demonstrate that it is possible to make an implicit evaluation of different polarity following the various implication strategies. Beside of well-known strategies used to express evaluation covertly in academic book reviews the article describes also new strategies, not yet mentioned in similar and related works: implicit evaluation through disagreement with the author’s viewpoint, implicit evaluation through recommendation to the review’s recipient and implicit evaluation through (in)direct question. Quantitative measures illustrate different frequencies of negative and positive implicit evaluation and lead to conclusion the explicit evaluation prevail among all types of evaluation whereas the negative implicit evaluation prevail among all tokens of implicit evaluation in our data. | 5154 | At this stage of the terminology development, terminologists are particularly interested in studying the terminology of special fields of knowledge using a cognitive approach. The use of frame analysis in terms of this approach makes it possible to present the terminology model of any professional field most successfully. The purpose of the paper is to build a cognitive-frame model of the Russian term system of the field “Open architectural space design” as a fragment of the architectural and design terminology of the professional sphere “Design of architectural environment”. The material for the analysis is more than 680 lexical units of the field “Open architectural space design”, selected using a continuous sampling method from texts of educational, scientific and Internet sources of the specialty “Design of the architectural environment”, architectural design and linguistic dictionaries and reference books. The research methodology is based on general scientific and linguistic methods and techniques: descriptive, comparative methods, methods of classification and linguistic modeling, as well as definitional, contextual and frame analysis. The basic concepts within the framework of the cognitive approach are defined. The interpretation of the terms frame, subframe, slot is presented. The theoretical foundations of frame modeling are highlighted, the frame structure used in the study is justified. A hierarchical cognitive-frame model of the term system “Open architectural space design” is constructed, consisting of three frames: “Urban environment design”, “Landscape design”, “Lighting design”. Within each frame, units of lower levels such as subframes, slots and micro-slots are allocated. Interframe processes have been studied: the relations of intersection within the macroframe “Open architectural space design”, including between units of different levels, as well as the relations of intersection with the macroframe “Interior Design” are revealed. The special role of the frame “Lighting Design” is defined, consisting of general terminology for the macroframes “Open architectural space design” and “Interior design” and specific terms for each of them. The frame model of the term system “Open architectural space design” makes it possible to present a hierarchically organized system of the terminology and identify its intra-system relationships. The results of the research can be useful for terminologists, specialists in the field of architectural environment design, for teaching practice in universities. Changes came in the end of XIX – the beginning of XX century. They became possible because of new imperial legislation. According to new laws, entrepreneurs became responsible for their worker’s health and were obliged to compensate work-related injury or death claims of employees. However, it caused debates among people of industry. They made several projects, concerning the creation of insurance association and the society of mutual insurance for workers. Some projects were quite promising, supposing that accessible health insurance funds would be created even in Siberian taiga. But conferences of gold industry entrepreneurs tended to support the moderate ones. Even the duration of operational season was disputed since it had effect on payments size. However, even these efforts were made without great effect and failed to create a stable insurance system. As seen from the study it was the consequence of entrepreneurs’ effort to share responsibility for insurance with the state institutions and workers themselves. The problem of health insurance was a part of the labour issue, which appeared to be unmanageable. Keywords: history of Siberia, labour issue, insurance, pensions, gold industry | 1839 | |||||
| 5189 | The six-year experience of cooperation between university and secondary school is uconsidered. The technique of reflexive reconstruction of interaction of participants of the network educational project is used: students, teachers of historical and philological faculty of Tomsk State Pedagogical University, teachers studying in Municipal Autonomous Educational Institution Secondary School no. 14 named after A. F. Lebedev, Tomsk. A plot of the reconstruction is based on the idea of the complexity of the project actions. We are talking about the movement from the normative and executive position of the design participants to the semantic one. It is shown that the first position is related to the implementation in practice of interaction of the state order in the field of integrative (inclusive) education. Within the framework of the second position, the participants implement their own initiatives, design, form an educational reality, the content and forms of which correspond to the challenges of the time. Pedagogical activity is carried out on the basis of personal resource of subjects of cooperation. The design of such a plot of the development of joint activities is considered as a manifestation of a special model of interaction between the University and the secondary school, which the authors, after G. N. Prozumentova, called joint production. The described educational precedents, empirical phenomena typical for this model allow us to see its presence in such forms as a master class, a project conference “Our Mental Values”, a joint educational project “Debates”, an international scientific and practical conference “Science and Education”. The content of this model is also shown by the creation of texts of different types by the participants of interaction: projects, articles, methodological developments, final qualifying works (diplomas, master’s theses). The experience of interaction between the University and the school presented in the article can be regarded as a precedent of educational design – the sphere of activity in which the manifestation, development, formation of the subjectivity of its participants in the context of innovative practice. Innovation is manifested in the phenomenon of personal presence of participants of network interaction (in this case-the authors of the article) in the creation of educational reality. The content of activities in the project can be considered as a variant of pedagogical technologization of the requirements of the new Federal State Educational Standards of the university and secondary school. | 5190 | M. Voloshin’s special interest in color naming is caused both by the peculiarity of the era (Silver Age), and his passion not only for the poetic word, but also, equally, for fine art. The color picture of the world of M. Voloshin’s poems is distinguished by a variety of colors that convey shades of one color or another, and the unusualness of the created color images, in which the features of the author’s perception of the world are revealed. The article presents data on the study of the semantics and symbolic meaning of frequency colors found in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin, data on the analysis of individual poems containing color symbolism in order to determine the meaning of color painting for understanding the poet’s worldview and the features of his creative manner. In the course of the study, methods of semantic-stylistic, contextological, and motive analysis were used, which make it possible to reveal the features of the embodiment and the meaning of M. Voloshin’s color picture of the world. The variety of color embodiment of the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin is associated with the peculiarity of the worldview of Voloshin the artist, who gave himself the attitude “to absorb all forms, all colors into oneself with the eyes”. In addition, the poet’s passion for Symbolist and Impressionist teachings influenced the multicoloredness of his poetry. Color painting, being one of the main means of expressing the author’s intentions, helps to convey the subtlest color shades and the symbolism of the feelings of the lyrical hero. The most frequent colors used by M. Voloshin: red in its many variations, gold, gray, purple – often contain metaphysical symbolism. To convey color, M. Voloshin also uses lexemes denoting plants (flowers), as well as mineralogical designations. The study of M. Voloshin’s lyrical tests for the use of color in them led to the conclusion that the color picture of the poet’s world is rich and diverse incarnations: colorful epithets, unusual metaphors, comparisons, synesthetic images, mineralogical designations – an incomplete list of the means and techniques used by the author. The significance of the conducted research lies in the reflection of the author’s worldview through the comprehension of the symbolic meanings of the image embedded in the color names. Keywords: M.
