Ivashkina K.S., Lavrov P.M. REMARK ON THE JACOBI IDENTITIES IN ASSOCIATIVE ALGEBRAS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2013. Issue 8 (136). P. 198-199

In the paper associative algebras and Jacobi identities, which appear after introduction of commutator and write down in the form of double commutators for arbitrary three elements of a given algebra, are considered. We show that in any associative algebra there exist identities, which are written in the form of single commutators for any three elements. From these identities one can derive the Jacobi identities but not the contrary. It allows us to speak of fundamental (basic) identities existing for any associative algebra.

Koshkarova N.N. TACTIC OF THREAT AS REALIZATION OF CONFRONTATIONAL STRATEGY IN NEWS GENRE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 7 (172). P. 17-20

The paper is devoted to the analysis of threat tactic realization on the basis of the news genre. The threat tactic represents the confrontational strategy which exists in the framework of the linguopragmatic block of the coherent models of the conflict and congruous types of discourse. News genre is viewed as functioning in the intercultural political space. The author singles out three cases of the threat tactic realization: the beginning of the conflict communication, the response to some kind of action on the part of the opponent (or the third part), emotional reaction. All the above-mentioned cases present the explication of the threat tactic with the help of lexical, grammatical and other language factors. Outlines the prospects for further research to which belong the analysis of cognitive marked cases of threat tactic realization when the researcher needs additional efforts to classify these or those utterances as being destructive.

Grinshpon Y.S., Podstrigich A.G. SEMANTIC FEATURES OF EDUCATIONAL TEXT AS A COMMUNICATIVE SIGN SYSTEM USED IN THE TRAINING PROCESS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 12 (189). P. 123-128

Formation of universal learning activities aimed at thoughtful reading and writing, critical comprehension of the available information and the creation of educational product among pupils in any subject area, including mathematics classes, is a major concern throughout modern general education. The article considers issues of perception, understanding, interpretation and generation of the learning text as a communicative sign system used in the training process. Authors have formulated theoretical foundations, based on which it is possible to analyze the cognitivesemantic content of educational texts, and the features of text designing in order to achieve understanding and improve the quality of education. Examples of mathematical educational texts are provided as an illustration of these foundations. The developed educational texts (research challenges, dialogues, methodical recommendations, applications, historical overviews, etc.) allow us to create context, suitable for each pupil. Also these texts help to individualize learning, to understand better varying levels of the reflection processes and the formation of personality during training, to carry out the educational process on designing new personal educational products and educational texts in the process of studying mathematics. Educational texts should prepare pupils for independent reading of educational, popular science-oriented and scientific literature; promote the creative acquisition of knowledge and gathering experience in critical, creative thinking and conducting design and research work.

Keywords: semantics, educational text, dialogization, competence approach to teaching, understanding and designing of educational texts on mathematics

Mastepak T.G., Poleva E.A. THE MOTIF OF WIND/STORM IN THE NOVEL DESPAIR BY V. NABOKOV // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 6 (203). P. 47-55

The year of 2019 is the anniversary of two writers of different eras – A. S. Pushkin (1799–1837) and V. V. Nabokov (1899–1977). This study did not initially include the goal of identifying the “bringing together “of two writers, but an analysis of the wind motive led to results that broadened the ideas about the creative dialogue between Nabokov and Pushkin already established in literature. The aim of the work is to analyse the wind / storm motive in V. Nabokov’s novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair) in relation to cultural tradition. Material and methods. Motive and intertextual analysis based on the work of B. Gasparov, I. Silantyev. For understanding of the functionality and archetypical semantics of the wind / storm motive, the studies of K. Nagina and E. Nikanorova are significant; among the research work on Nabokov, the baseline for this study is, firstly, the article by A. Dolinina, who described the principles of using V. Nabokov to use Pushkin’s intertext in the novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair). Results and discussion. When analyzing “Otchayaniye” (Despair), it was considered that the narrative motive is often implemented in conjunction with an anonymous motive, therefore the focus of research attention was not only the wind motive / storm motive, but also windcalm. It was revealed that the wind motive in the novel is polysemantic and “works” to reveal the main themes and problems in the novel, “involved” in the design of the author’s concept of the work. It is associated primarily with moral and ethical issues: the definition of boundaries and the essence of free will, crime and punishment. It was found that the motive functionally considered in the novel correlates with the archetypal image of the storm, which traditionally embodies above the personal will and trial, the condition of passage of which is the strength of the moral basis of the individual. For the immoral character, who is the central hero of the novel, Herman (a murderer who is not experiencing remorse and torment of conscience), the wind turned into a storm, carries the semantics of punishment (“frightening” wind, “murderous drafts”). The study revealed the use of Nabokov’s method of increasing gradation in the design of the wind motive, which accompanies Hermann’s doubts and moral throwing, turning into a storm at the moment of final despair. Stillness arises at the climax points of the plot (the murder of an imaginary double and Herman reading his own, which must justify, but expose his mediocrity, “story”). If Herman interprets windcalm as the indifference of being to human life, as the absence of God, then at the author’s level “silence of being” emphasizes Nabokov’s idea of free will: nature does not give signs and does not interfere with a person’s moral choice. The analysis of the wind motive made it possible to reveal, the Pushkin’s fairy tale “Skazka o Rybake i Rybke” / About the Fisherman and the Fish as a significant intertext of the novel; the final “Otchayaniye” (Despair) correlates with the outcome of the tale: the character who wished to become a “despot” not only of his own being, but also of the lives of others (to take the place of God), remained “by the broken washtub”. Conclusion. This study made it possible to expand the understanding of the intertextual connections of the novel by V. Nabokov, to clarify the author’s concept of crime and punishment.

Keywords: Nabokov, Pushkin, literature of Russian emigration, wind / storm motive, intertextuality

Burkov P.V., Stefanov Y.P. Dynamical Simulation of Chip Generaion and Formation in Metal Cutting // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2004. Issue 6 (43). P. 76-81

The two-dimensional finite difference method is applied to model the metal cutting process where the contact interaction between the cutter and work piece is defined. Lagrange description of motion is used which includes the generation of new surfaces as the work piece fractures and chip separates. A cutting path is thus developed and simulated by splitting the nodes of the finite element grid. Special attention is given to the loading process of the cutting tool during the cut-in stage. Chip formation at different times are calculated and presented

Filonov N.G., Deremeshko V.A. LOGISTIZATUON OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 5 (158). P. 27-34

An important instrument of the increase of educational activity is its logistization. In the article we offer a logistic model, where an educational institution is considered as a micro-logistic system, and educational activity – as a set of various flows of useful resources, which interact, influence each other, depend upon the current market conditions and evolve, corresponding to the change of inner and outer conditions. Using the logistic approach, we bring out the research of structure of the basic element of the system – the flow of human resources. The flow is represented as a certain function, having two components: scalar W0– the concrete appearance of useful resources and vector 0 W (t,z) – the orientation of the flow in space (z) and time (t). Thus, the flow is W =W0 ⋅W0(t,z). The special attention is paid to the process of forming the human resources flow and to its providing components. We show that in an educational establishment the educational activity results the conversion of the input flow of human resources (claimers for getting some educational services) into the output flow (specialists of various levels). Besides, for stable functioning of the conversion process the educational establishment requires the following vector components: material, financial, informational, of power (energetic), of manpower (personnel) and of service. We work out the mathematical expressions, describing this process. They give us the opportunity to define the sources of expenses and to optimize the total costs in order to minimize them.

Sharifova D.A. COMPUTER GAMES AND MOTIVATION TO FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING OF ENGINEERING LYCEUM STUDENTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 144-149

In educational process every teacher faces either a decline of learning motivation level or even the lack of it. The problem of motivation is very urgent in modern Education and Psychology. Psychology and Pedagogy explore it intensively. Firstly, this term appeared in Psychology at the beginning of XX century to expand knowledge about human and animal behavior. Psychological dictionaries present motivation through the relations between needs – motive – activity. Pedagogy studies mostly the motivation of learning and uses the terms “motive” and “goal” to explain the process itself. Motive is a thing which urges a person to action, and goal is a thing which a person tries to attain as a result of this action. Scientists noticed that there are a lot of factors that form motivation to learning; therefore, a teacher should consider every significant part of student life. Modern standard of education is a cause of new requirements to the educational process, it is necessary to use IT technologies and the Internet. The article deals with the relation between students’ interest in on-line computer games and their motivation to foreign language learning. The research presents that student choice of English-language servers is usually deliberate and helps them to improve their communicative competence of the English language and motivate them to learn more diligently.

Lappo M.A., Urazbekova A.A. THE SEMANTIC GROUPS OF BORROWED WORDS IN THE RUSSIAN LITERARY TEXT: THE DYNAMIC ASPECT (BASED ON POLONISM) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 4 (216). P. 100-110

Introduction. The article deals with semantic groups of polonisms in the Russian literary text of the XIX‒XXI centuries. Aim and objectives. The article aims to identify, describe and systematize representative semantic groups of polonisms in the literary text of the XIX–XXI centuries, as well as to analyze the extralinguistic and linguistic reasons for their actualization and the leading functions. Material and methods. The material selection for this study was carried out in stages. At the first stage about 30 literary works selected by thematic (about Polish events), biographical (the authors are of Polish origin) and linguistic (the texts should have been written in Russian, not translations) criteria were considered. At the second stage for a detailed study the works by V. V. Krestovskii „The Bloody Pouf“, Z. Shishova and S. Tsarevich „The Adventures of Casper Bernat in Poland and Other Countries“ and V. R. Medinskii „The Wall“ were taken as the most representative in terms of borrowing from the Polish language. Systematization of Polish origin words on the semantic principle, which provides a basis for studying their functioning in a dynamic aspect, was subordinated to the concept of a „Large explanatory dictionary of Russian nouns“ edited by L. G. Babenko (2005), in which the general typical situation is the basis for combining nouns in a semantic group of words. Results and discussion. The article describes in detail the following representative semantic groups of polonisms: „religion“, „nutrition“, „social relations“, „military service“. The analysis of semantic groups of Polish elements in the Russian language showed a steady tendency to their number reduction in the literary text of the time period under study, except for polonisms of military subjects. The authors identify both extralinguistic and linguistic reasons for this process: the interest decline in Poland in reading circles due to the deactualization of the „Polish issue“, the loss of religion significance, changes in the way of life, the social inequality neutralization, the phonetic and semantic proximity of polonisms and native Russian words. The study also showed that the leading functions of polonisms, namely characterological, identifying, evaluating and clarifying, are generally permanent in the literature of the last three centuries. These functions of words of Polish origin are not directly related to their semantics, the use of polonisms corresponds to the traditions and tasks of artistic storytelling. Conclusion. The analysis of semantic groups of Polish elements in Russian language showed a steady tendency to reduce their number in the literary text in the studied time period, except for polonisms of military thematic. The results of the work can be used in the study of language contacts, dynamic processes of Russian-language artistic discourse, in lexicographic practice. Krayevskaya I.O., Vladimirova S.B., Mikhaylova I.V. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF METAPHORICAL MODELS OF COLOR DESIGNATIONS OF THE HUMAN BODY (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF RUSSIAN, ENGLISH AND CHINESE LANGUAGES) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 6 (224). P. 52-61

Introduction. The paper examines human body color namings’ metaphorical models on the basis of Russian, English and Chinese texts included in the forensic discourse. The study of metaphorical word formation based on the different cultures everyday knowledge is of great importance not only for cultural linguistics, but also for research aimed at analyzing linguistic world-images. Color lexemes, therefore, are also valuable material for ethnocultural and discursive research. Aim and objectives. The aim of current paper is to carry out a comparative analysis of human body color namings’ metaphorical models on the basis of Russian, English and Chinese texts included in the forensic discourse. Material and methods. The empirical material of the study are the texts of forensic research in Russian, forensic papers of J. Prahlow, G. Skopp, M. Tsokos and R. Byard, Q. Stewart, R. Cobb, V. Keith in English, and books “Forensic Science” by Zhao Ziqin and “Guide to Forensic Pathology” by Jing Hualan and Li Huanxiang in Chinese. Firstly, we used continuous sampling method to select all the color namings from the above-mentioned texts. Secondly, we selected all the metaphorical color lexemes. Also, the study uses the following methods: definitional analysis, analysis of the internal form of the word, and a comparative analysis in respect to metaphor semantic parameters of color namings in three indicated languages. Results and discussion. Among the Russian-language color designations, we identified 2 metaphorical models, in which the comparison goes with 5 objects of the surrounding world, 5 models compared with 9 objects in English; and 5 models compared with 7 objects in Chinese. We noted that the metaphorization processes in Russian color namings of forensic medical discourse are less noticeable. Among the English-language color namings, there is a greater variety of objects surrounding world for the metaphor word formation. Russian and Chinese color namings have the same comparison with the color of the cherry fruit. In Russian and English color lexemes, there is a close comparison with clay and brick. In English and Chinese color designations, there is a comparison with ash color, and similar in meaning is a comparison of such results of actions as “to be washed out” (about color) and “to lose color”. In the lexical units of the Russian-language forensic discourse there is no comparison with actions, sweets and different features of objects. For the English material, the comparison with sweet food products, such as chocolate and cream, is unique. For the Chinese unique comparison goes with different characteristics of objects. Conclusion. As a result, we revealed metaphorical word formation features of lexemes naming the human body colors used in forensic discourse. Comparison with flora objects colors is specific to the Russian language metaphorical word formation. Comparison with the colors of materials is specific to English metaphorical word formation. The degree of manifestation of various characteristics of objects is specific to the metaphorical word formation of the Chinese language. These differences are explained by the cultural specificity of the languages involved in the analysis. The results of the comparative analysis revealed significant differences between the metaphorical lexemes of color in Russian, English and Chinese texts of forensic medical discourse.

In this article, the author focuses at the present conditions of Kazakhstan's Governance and whether it goes along with the prin¬ciples of Good Governance announced by the World Bank. One of the main outcomes of the analysis of Kazakhstan's Governance is the instability of the pub¬lic sector management, in particular, of the bureaucratic apparatus; a quite sufficient financial accountability; and legislation being at the development stage. Trans¬parency and information are improving. However, in order to build the real Good Governance the Republic of Kazakhstan needs time. Sasaki M. SIGNATURES OF STRING LANDSCAPE FROM INFLATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 145-148

Open ination is a cosmological scenario in which the universe is a vacuum bubble nucleated from false vacuum decay and a period of inationary expansion followed in the nucleated bubble. This scenario is currently receiving renewed interest in the context of the string theory landscape. Since there are a large number of metastable de Sitter vacua in the string landscape, tunneling from one vacuum to another occurs frequently through the bubble nucleation and open ination is naturally realized. We argue that though the universe appears to be very at, a small deviation of омега0 from unity can make the effect of tensor-type perturbations on the large angle CMB anisotropy signicant. Thus we are already testing the string landscape against observations.
