Yurchenkova E.Y. ON THE ETHNOCULTURAL BACKGROUND OF THE PLANT NAMES MOTIVATED BY THEIR HABITAT (BASED ON RUSSIAN AND GERMAN DATA). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 11 (176). P. 95-100

The article deals with the plant names motivated by their habitat. The study relies on regional and common names that belong to Russian and German traditional nomenclatures of plants and derive from animal names by a metonymic transfer. The author reveals common and particular bases of such transfer. First of all, the transfer may take place in both Russian and German if habitat of a plant concurs with habitat of an animal. Such correlation implies seven coincident habitats. Five of them are common in Russian and German. They are 1) woods, 2) fields and meadows, 3) waters, 4) marshes and 5) shadow places. The one habitat specific in Russian is steppe; the one specific in German is rocks and mountains. The other common bases of metonymic transfer are ‘habitat of a plant concurs with shelter of an animal, and concurs with a place animal usually prefers to stay or visit. To the specific German bases belong the following two: habitat of a plant concurs with pasture of an animal; and habitat of a plant concurs with a place for animal to breed. Another aim of the article is to show how important the ethnocultural background is for plants’ nomination. Common symbolism in Russian and German ethnocultures have such animals and birds like wolf, bear, deer, hare, snake, frog, toad, duck, swan and crane. That is the reason plants with similar habitat have similar names in both languages. Different ethnocultural meaning have elk, woodpecker, raven, crow and magpie (in Russian); as well as chamois, fox, cuckoo, stork, swine, cow, sheep and goat (in German).

Kuznecova M.L. MODEL OF FORMATION OF PROJECT COMPETENCES OF FUTURE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER IN THE PROCESS OF METHODICAL TRAINING. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 7 (160). P. 74-77

In accordance with the planned results associated with the formation of the future teacher’s project competences objective method plays a special role, in our case, it is methodology of teaching geography. Methodical preparation serves an integral part of vocational education of geography teacher at the Pedagogical University. Professional activities of modern geography teacher, in accordance with the goals and values of the modern general education, geographical education of students and in terms of its standardization, includes a variety of activities: educational, research, communication, project, diagnostic, and others. It is essential that the project activity serves as fundamental one, the structure of which is much more complex than traditional planning. Project includes planning as a quality item. To achieve these results, a structure-functional model of the formation of project competence is worked out. The purpose of creation and implementation of structural and functional model of the formation of project competences of the future teacher of geography is the best possible and effective application in the educational process of method training and education in geographic teaching. Structure-functional model of the formation of project competence includes the target, substantial, organizational-activity and estimated-score units. Pilot training, conducted by the author on the basis of geographical and biological faculty of the Ural State Pedagogical University, shows that the formation of the project competences of students – is controversial, complex, long-lasting, non-linear process, which forms the subject position of the future teacher.

It was shown that the charge state of the 73Ge antistructural defect arising in the anion sublattice of PbS and PbSe after radioactive decay of 73As does not depend on the Fermi level position. In contrast, the 73Ge center in the cation sublattice of PbS and PbSe acts like an electrically active substitutional impurity: in n-type samples the Mossbauer spectrum corresponds to the neutral state of a donor center (Ge2+), while in p-type samples it corresponds to the twice ionized state of this center (Ge4+). In the case of partially compensated samples of PbSe the fast electron exchange between neutral and ionized donor centers is revealed. It was demonstrated by means of the Mossbauer spectroscopy on the 119Sn isotope that the energy levels of germanium are above the levels formed by tin impurity atoms in these semiconductors

Kriklivec E.V. Neo-mythological ways of embodying the theme of mentoring in the novels by Mariam Petrosyan “The Gray House” and Victor Kozko “Chronicle of an orphanage garden”. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2024. Issue 1 (231). P. 132-140

The comparative study of closely related literatures seems to be a relevant direction in modern humanities. This perspective of the study allows us to identify the creative uniqueness of the work, the national basis and methods of literary reception through the disclosure of literary and sociocultural connections, and forms the openness of consciousness to the perception of foreign cultural codes and meanings. The creative individuality of Viktor Kozko was formed in the Belarusian literary process of the last third of the twentieth century, when there was an increase in the existential orientation of prose. Mythopoeticism is characterized by its rootedness in the universal humanistic constants of national specificity. The main stylistic changes occur at the junction of the artistic systems of realism – modernism, realism – postmodernism. The emergence of diffuse phenomena is due to both the individual author’s creative experiment and the general stylistic trends of the era. Modernist intentions in Belarusian literature have a pronounced folklore and mythological basis, which determined the predominance of authentic elements, helped to verbalize unconscious categories, making them the subject of author and reader reflection. Mariam Petrosyan worked on the novel “The Gray House” for almost two decades (1991–2009). The literary process at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries, on the one hand, demonstrates the completion of a certain sociocultural stage, on the other, it indicates the beginning of a new historical and cultural cycle. It is no coincidence that the allegorical nature of the novel satisfies the aesthetic and cognitive needs of the time – to create a metonymic image of modern society. Both prose writers actively use various types of secondary artistic conventions. Depending on the dominant type of convention and the dominant artistic technique, the following ways of enriching realistic aesthetics with means of non-classical artistry can be distinguished: actualization of surreal aesthetics; synthesis of realistic and fantastic; appeal to folklore and mythological motifs, mythological ways of understanding the world. The methods of mythological quotation used in the novels by Mariam Petrosyan “The Gray House” and Viktor Kozko’s “Chronicle of an orphanage garden” when embodying the images of teachers and students, topoi of the house and garden, neomythological methods of modeling reality allowed the writers to create a unique spatiotemporal organization of works, explicate national cultural codes.
