Dolgin V.N., Maslennikov P.V. A ZOOGEOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF MALACOFAUNA OF WATER BASIN OF THE CHULYM RIVER (SREDNEOBSKAYA ZOOGEOGRAPHICAL PROVINCE) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 2 (155). P. 128-132

The article considers the species diversity of freshwater molluscs, and the composition of zoogeographical groups of mollusks in the river basin of Chulym. In the long process of historical development and the formation of the ancient river Pra-Ob and the Pra-Yenisey, Pra-Chulym was the southern corridor for the exchange of faunas of shellfish between Western and Eastern Siberia. Under the influence of these processes in the river basin Chulym formed a kind of modern complex freshwater mollusk, which has a great similarity with composition freshwater molluscs of the middle basin of the river Ob and of the basin of the river Sayan (the upper basin of the river Yenisei). The species composition of shellfish in the river basin Chulym, was been formed under the predominant influence of European and Siberian malakogenetics centers.

Smirnov J.V. PHENOMENON OF “THE SACRIFICED GENERATION” IN F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY’S “A WRITER’S DIARY” (JUNE, 1873, JANUARY, 1876) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 10 (163). P. 114-118

Article is devoted to research of “the offered generation” as historically caused phenomenon of the Russian culture through a prism of an author's literary viktimologiya of F. M. Dostoyevsky. The analysis of a victimological discourse of “A Writer`s Diary” allows to reveal the most important axiological aspects of a concept “victim” and system of its realization in various issues of this monomagazine. Developing a victimological perspective in fiction and publicistic texts, the writer at the level of idea shows the reasons of emergence of various types of criminals and victims, comes to a conclusion about their self-reproducibility on a global scale of the state. “The offered generation” becomes result of action of similar destructive processes of valuable deformation of the personality, the contradictory relations of the legal legislation with the principles of humanity and the Divine law.

Kolmogorova A.V. CONNECTING DIFFERENT GENARATIONS IN FAMILY DISCOURSE: COMMUNICATION WITH GRANDCHILDREN // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 3 (168). P. 33-36

The article examines some peculiarities of grandmother-grandchild discursive interaction in family communication. Applying methodology of interactional and conversational analysis to the video data recordings of communicative interactions between different generations of two Russian families we argue that such interaction is governed by two contradictory intentions: to maintain the empathically warm communication and at the same time to protect the initial roles of dominant communicant (for grandmothers) or to fight for the status of independent communicant (for grandchildren). They both show some specific discursive devices: grandmothers’ use of joke aggression, memorative (telling about past events), assistance in the case of communicative failure; communicative sabotage for grandchildren.

Valitova N.R., Pautov A.D. IMPORTANCE OF PROFESSIONAL THESAURUS WHILE ADS AND PR BACHELORS’ TRAINING // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 8 (173). P. 40-43

The article presents the grounding for the necessity of competent and professional communication for students of the training areas “Advertising and public relations”. It is noted that the formation of students’ communicative abilities should be based on the scientific style of speech using special scientific terminology. The role of the professional thesaurus as a major educational component, its importance in the formation of a professional linguistic world of the future expert in the field of mass communication is considered. Professional language picture of the world is to interact with the professional student's thesaurus. It predetermines the level of his professional knowledge and the extent of his competence. All this means that to understand this or that phrase or text, a person must put it through his professional thesaurus, relate to his professional knowledge and find an appropriate place of its contents in a professional picture of the world.

Ulyanova U.A. COMBINATORIAL SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF MILITARY COLLOCATIONS IN MILITARY POLITICAL DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 3 (221). P. 67-74

Introduction. The article is devoted to military collocations as a variety of terminological collocations limited to the sphere of military and military political discourse. The combinatorial semantic analysis of collocations with the component hybrid, extracted from military political texts published on the official website of NATO has been carried out in the article. The research novelty of the paper is in describing of variety of terminological collocations, in particular military collocations. The aim is to carry out combinatorial semantic analysis of collocations with the component hybrid in the English military political discourse. Material and methods. The main methods of the research are combinatorial semantic analysis, continuous sampling method, as well as frequency analysis. The material of the research was texts of speeches of NATO Secretary General (74 contexts), dictionaries of collocations and English explanatory dictionaries. Results of discussion. Based on the analysis of theoretical material on the nature of terminological collocations, military collocations as one of the subtypes of terminological collocations functioning in military political discourse have been identified and described. Depending on the presence or absence of a term in the collocation, two subtypes of military collocations have been distinguished: military terminological collocations and military collocations of terms. The main difference between military terminological collocations and military collocations of terms is that in military collocations of terms both the node and the collocation is the term. Military collocations of terms have a rich combinatorial potential and can be considered as polythematic units of language, because the node and collocate are a combination of different thematic areas (military and biosphere) in such collocations. The combinatorial potential of military terminological collocations with the component hybrid is limited by the context in case the node does not belong to the military sphere. Conclusion. As a result it is argued that the formation of military collocations of terms with the component hybrid is based on iterative sema while military terminological collocations are formed on the basis of a common classeme. The research perspectives is in identification of occasional military collocations in military publicistic texts and the analysis of combinatorial mechanisms in collocations of this kind. The obtained results can be used in compiling dictionaries of collocations in the military and military political sphere.

Filonov N.G., Deremeshko V.A., Imonov O.D. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AS A LOGISTIC SYSTEM // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 5 (158). P. 17-22

The article deals with the analysis of the processes in the educational institution from the logistic point of view. We show, that almost any educational institution conforms to the requirements and can function as a logistic system. Naturally, the problem of optimization of all processes in the educational institution occurs. An important instrument of the problem’s solution is logistization of educational activity. The basis of educational activity is a high potential of increasing its efficiency by means of implementation of scientific methods of regulating the various flows, which occur not only in the educational institution structure, but also in interacting of the educational institution and its external environment (labor market). Logistization of educational activity is a process of consequential implementation of devices, methods and techniques of logistic science. At the same time, educational activity logistization can be considered as a complex technological and management innovation and its implementation into real practice of educational istitutions should be considered as a necessary factor. We analyze the principles, paradigms and requirements, related to forming the educational institution as a logistic system: integration of departments into a united logistic system, orderliness and clarity (transparency) of logistic systems and so on. We reveal the difficulties of forming this system. They are caused by the specificity of “production” of the educational logistic system. That is why the approaches, traditionally applied to the sphere of material production, may be not effective in this case.

Yakunina M.L. ABOUT SOME REGULATORY MEANS OF SYNTAX OF EPISTOLARY TEXTS OF THE INTERNET DISCOURSE (ON MATERIALS OF THE WEBSITE “LETTERS TO THE PRESIDENT”) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 11 (176). P. 54-60

The article considers some features of syntax of Internet communication on the example of open letters to the President from the point of view of regulatory function. The choice of methodology (studying of the regulatory function) which is actively developed by school of sciences at Tomsk state pedagogical university is reasonable. Regulatory dominants are distinguished from syntactic structures: epistolary questions, mononuclear sentences, a word order, short offers phrases, incomplete sentences, default reception. The syntactic regulatory means revealed during research imitate oral informal conversation. In general it is noticed that the way of communication (Internet) is reflected in contents and a form of the open letter: usually authors don’t think of esthetic influence, statement of punctuation marks, creation of the text of the letter, also the author doesn’t edit carefully stylistics of the epistolary text.

Makarovskikh A.V. SEQUENCE OF CONSTITUENTS IN HENDIADIC PAIR-WORD CONSTRUCTIONS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 1 (219). P. 7-14

The purpose of the article is the analysis and systematization of ordering constraints used for identifying the sequence of constituents in hendiadic (binomial) constructions. The object of the study is six groups of constraints that are tested on 562 binomials. The materials of the study are hendiadic units collected from the sources of various genres and dictionaries. The use of this material allows us to explore the concept of that many factors can play a role under the right conditions, including the semantic relationship between the items, metrical and other phonological properties of the possible orderings, and relative item frequency. Results and discussion. The ordering constraints that determine the sequence of constituents in binomials were previously studied haphazardly and only recently became the subject of quantitative analysis. The most comprehensive scientific researches in this regard are the works of Ya. Malkiel, W. Cooper and J. Ross, S. B Benor and R. Levy, as well as S. Mollin and H. Sauer and B. Schwan. As a result of the study, several groups of ordering constraints and their subgroups were classified and systematized. These groups of factors include semantic constraints, i.e. structuring elements according to the perception, logic, chronology, hierarchy, etc., phonological constraints, i.e. the properties of vowels and consonants. In addition, among these factors are also metric constraints, implying the peculiarities of the syllables in the studied constituents. The other ones are such constraints as translational, item frequency and synchronic variation of the order. Thus, basically, it can be concluded that the ordering constraints are not only subject to classification and systematization, but also have a clear hierarchy.

Emelyanova J.B. PSYCHOLINGUISTIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF MOBILITY OF TRANSLATOR’S LINGUISTIC KNOWLEDGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 2 (220). P. 125-134

Introduction. Translator’s linguistic knowledge operates under conditions which are different from ordinary language use, i.e., under increased psychological and cognitive load. For this reason, it should possess some professionally oriented characteristics which will ensure its effective functioning in the translation process. One of such characteristics is the mobility of translator’s linguistic knowledge. Aim of the paper is to identify and analyse factors which influence the degree of mobility of translator’s linguistic knowledge and to give some recommendations as to what approaches and activities can be used to increase it when teaching foreign languages to trainee translators. Material and methods. The material of the research included theoretical and practical works of national and foreign researchers in the field of translation studies, bilingual lexicon, code-switching, foreign language teaching. The following theoretical and empirical methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, generalization of experience, analysis and synthesis, comparison, modeling, extrapolation, analysis of pedagogical experience. Results and discussion. Based on the analysis of literature the following factors influencing the degree of mobility of translator’s linguistic knowledge have been identified: 1) the type of lexical representations in the bilingual lexicon (word association vs concept mediation); 2) the type of connections between languages and the conceptual store in the bilingual lexicon, and more specifically, the degree of independence of a foreign language and the existence of a direct connection between this language and the conceptual store; 3) conditions required for the creation and functioning of interlingual connections (connections within one vs across different subject areas, connections between semantic systems in a foreign and native language,); 4) psychological readiness for using linguistic means determined by the task. The following approaches and activities can contribute to increasing the degree of mobility of linguistic knowledge: 1) specifically targeting words and phrases which cause mobility to decrease; 2) increasing the frequency of occurrence of newly and previously learnt vocabulary; 3) strengthening the connection between the foreign language and the conceptual store through varying contexts and types of activities (cognitive operations with vocabulary, information- gap tasks); 4) ensuring vocabulary practice within one or across multiple subject areas; 5) ensuring the use of vocabulary determined by the task and strengthening the connection from L1 to L2 (pushed output tasks). Conclusion. Bearing in mind the factors which affect mobility of linguistic knowledge and using appropriate activities, it is possible to create preconditions for prompt functioning of translator’s linguistic knowledge in the translation process.

Ivanchenko S.A. THE CONCEPTS OF “WANDERING” AND “WANDERER” IN THE LYRICS OF M. VOLOSHIN AND IN THE MIRROR OF ASSOCIATIVE EXPERIMENTS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 6 (224). P. 88-96

Introduction. The appeal of representatives of the literary creativity of the Silver Age to the problem of wandering is due to concern for the fate of Russia and the search for opportunities to transform the world, as well as ways of self-determination. For the thinker, poet, artist M. A. Voloshin, the concept of “wandering” is the key. The purpose of this article is to identify the linguistic features of the embodiment of the concepts “wandering”, “wanderer” in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin. Material and methods. The article presents the data of free associative and directed associative experiments aimed at revealing the perception of the concept of “wandering” by modern native speakers of the Russian language; data from various dictionaries reflecting the meaning of the lexemes “wandering”, “wanderer”; the results of the analysis of M. Voloshin’s poems of different years, reflecting the concept of “wanderer”. The methods of experiment, semantic-stylistic, contextological, motivic analysis are used, which allow revealing the features of the content and perception of the concepts “wandering”, “wanderer”, reflected in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin. Results and discussion. Associative experiments conducted to identify the signs of the concept of “wandering” showed a broader understanding of the respondents about this phenomenon than is reflected in the explanatory dictionaries. The experiment made it possible to identify the attitude of modern native speakers to the phenomenon of wandering and compare it with the understanding of this phenomenon by the author, judging by the representation in the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin. Unsettledness, anxiety for the future of the country at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries determined the interest of representatives of the creative intelligentsia in the problem of wandering. The thematic zone “wandering”, including the concepts “path”, “wanderer”, “spiritual wanderings”, occupies a central place in M. Voloshin’s lyrics. The lyrical hero is an eternal wanderer, inquisitive, thirsty for knowledge, filially attached to Mother Earth; Odysseus, cut off from his native shores, wandering and restless; experiencing the pain of separation lover; a person who, as a result of trials, came to a higher understanding of life – gratitude to her for the persistence of pain, the bitterness of earthly herbs, the causticity of salt; finally, the chosen one, who renounced the joys of earthly life in the name of a higher destiny. Conclusion. An analysis of the linguistic and artistic features of the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin, containing the concept of “wandering”, which is central in the poet’s lyrics, made it possible to identify the main features of the lyrical wanderer hero (restlessness, inquisitiveness in knowing the world, unity with Mother Earth, the search for one’s destiny), and to draw a conclusion about the originality of M. Voloshin’s concept sphere.

Merkuryeva N.Y. LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF TAG-QUESTIONS (FROM THE TEXTS OF THE EARLY PERIOD OF THE AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 7 (204). P. 88-95

Introduction. We are continuing the cycle of works on historical development of some constructions of spoken English interaction. The article deals with the early history of tag-questions focusing on the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment. Aim and objectives. Some constructions with tag-questions from the texts of the certain historical period were investigated to find their lexical, phonetic and grammatical (structural, punctual) particularities and to compare them with the same constructions of Renaissance period. Material and methods. Exemplifying sentences are taken from the works written by English authors from 1688 to 1730. Drama and novel texts are used as a source. The methods of theoretical analysis of linguistic concepts, total selection of the material, linguistic research of language facts, comparative analysis are applied. Results and discussion. Three groups and ten types of the structures are distinguished. The base of groups differentiating is the existence of lexical and grammatical connection between the anchor (the main clause) and the tag. The base of the types differentiating is the content of the tags. So-called canonical tag-questions like He is a student, isn’t he? and other structures (containing predicative tags like He is a student, you say? and non-predicative tags like He is a student, eh?) are under analysis. Tag-questions from the texts of two epochs – Renaissance and Enlightenment are compared. The discussion consists of authorial choice of lexical means, the arrangement of words in the tags, the place of tags in the anchors, the peculiarities of graphical representation of the constructions in the texts. Conclusion. Some changes in word order in the tags and in the tags positions in the anchors have been found. The results can be used to conduct further researches as well as to provide lectures in Language History, Theoretical Grammar, etc.

Serdyuk A.M. Periphery without centre: system of narrators in the novel “Sketches of Russian Life in the Caucasus” // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2023. Issue 3 (227). P. 136-144

Sketches of Russian Life in the Caucasus was published in London in 1853, and soon after was proven to have plagiarised Mikhail Lermontov’s A Hero of Our Time. Though following the original almost to the letter, the novel is conceptually different, nor does it justify its presumably ethnographic title, being didactic in its core. Like the original, it centres around three marginal narrators. This article aims at defining their role within the new pragmatics of the text. The article examines the novel Sketches of Russian Life in the Caucasus, by a Russe, Many Years Resident among the Various Mountain Tribes, as well as A Hero of Our Time by Mikhail Lermontov, which it is based on. The methods used include the comparative, culture-historical, and hermeneutic ones. Following the wandering officer of the original, the nameless narrator of the novel’s first part remains the former, yet ceases to be the latter. As a result, not only does he retain his marginal status as a traveller, but also moves further away from the narrating officers. His outsider’s view of the characters, particularly Zadonskoi (Pechorin), thus, at first glance appears to be the most objective; in fact, however, it is subject to the European cultural context. Sorokin (Maxim Maximytch) largely retains the original features. However, his rejecting the local population is more evident, so is his religious vigour. Though he, the nameless narrator, and Zadonskoi are in some ways akin, the focus lies on their differences, mainly in age and worldview. As a result, Sorokin’s image is less marginal, with his role as a moral compass for both the protagonist and the reader emphasised. Finally, Zadonskoi himself remains a multi-marginal figure, yet unlike Pechorin has the potential for social integration. Though both Sorokin and the nameless narrator see him as strange and eccentric, in his own papers he unwittingly discovers a human in himself. The marginal status of the narrators, particularly the main character, obscures their national background allowing the focus of the narrative to shift towards universal problems, which are of paramount importance in the novel.

Ivanova R.P., Verkhoturova T.L. COGNITIVE-SEMIOTIC ANALYSIS OF VISUAL PERCEPTION VOCABULARY IN THE SAKHA LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 6 (224). P. 45-51

Introduction. The article is devoted to the analysis of linguistic units that verbalize the category of visual perception in the Sakha language in the cognitive-semiotic aspect. The study of major categories, such as perception, is one of the important objectives of modern anthropological linguistics, in the center of which is a person as a cognitive-perceptual subject, the functions of his cognitive (perceptual) system and the world of human experience. Material and methods. The research material used is the dictionaries of the Sakha language, the corpus of the Sakha language, literary works. The authors implement a cognitive-semiotic approach based on modern interdisciplinary theories of perception. The representation of the category of visual perception in the Sakha language is considered in three main perspectives – semantic, syntactic and metaphorical. Results and discussion. The article presents a detailed description of the Sakha language vocabulary related to the verbalization of the process of visual perception. Through such vocabulary, the speaker sets a variety of parameters of perception: spatial, temporal, qualitative, evaluative, expressive and modal. Also, the syntactic features of visual perception lexicon are considered, namely, significant combinations of the nuclear verb kör with adverbs characterizing the process of visual perception and expressing the observer’s evaluation. Conclusion. The data obtained indicate that in most cases the lexemes of visual perception serve to denote not only the actual process of perception, but have a huge signemic potential covering different spheres of human activity. The leading parameter, as shown by cognitive-semiotic analysis, is evaluative. Almost every lexeme of the Sakha lexicon contains a personal assessment of not only the process, but also the participants of visual perception. The vocabulary of visual perception thus plays a huge role in cognition and signification of the world. What is specific to the Sakha language is that visual vocabulary performs a modal-expressive function and carries a huge amount of information about the attitude of the speaking subject to the participants of the process of visual perception, about the evaluation of the process itself and the situation as a whole.

Presents characteristic features of the teaching experience of the mother; the experience is seen as a measure of component competence of the mother in the education of children of early and preschool age. Mothers teaching experience and professional experience of the teacher are considered in parallel. Personal life of women from birth affects their educational experience. The distinctive feature of experience is the individual work of the mother on their existing knowledge and ideas about the education of children in the family. In addition, it is a reflection on those experiences that were in her life, in specific teaching situations. The activity of the mother includes: self-observation, self-analysis, the assessment itself in the role of family educator. The most effective form of mother’s work on their own pedagogical experience, the author believes, is “mother’s diary”.

Kudryashova S.B. COMPETENCE-ORIENTED METHODOLOGY IN TRANSLATION TEACHING: FOCUS ON STYLISTIC FIGURES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 11 (176). P. 109-115

The object of the study is the scientific and pedagogic ground for developing the translation competence of technical students under the professional retraining program «Translator in the Sphere of Professional Communication». The focus on stylistic figures shows how the competence-oriented approach can be applied in translation teaching. The work aims at formulating theoretical and practical principles of a competence-oriented methodology in translation teaching. The competence-oriented approach to translation teaching proves to be rational. The communicative functional translation model is the scientific basis of the complex pedagogic technology under consideration. This target technology is pragmatic and involves such pedagogic technologies as communicative training, problem-based learning, development of critical thinking, information and communications technologies, pedagogic games, individualization of education, training in cooperation, modular technology. Stylistic figures represent one of the typical translation difficulties and form a separate training module. Covering this module required formulating the aim, objectives and developmental stages, as well as the list of principal figures of speech. Some illustrative examples given prove the dependence of the translation strategy on the type of the source text.

Bykov-Kulikovsky D.N. SEMANTIC APPROACH IN MUSIC AND ART EDUCATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 2 (214). P. 101-111

The article considers the possibility of using historical intonation semantic stereotypes for the development of creative activity of students, motivation of cognitive learning activities. Specific options are being considered for the use of «migratory intonation complexes» for improvisation, composition, ensemble music in the musical-theoretical disciplines of CMS / CSA, in music classes of general education school and various institutions of additional education, including pre-school. It is motivation that contributes to the achievement of the most important goal in education - the greening of the educational process. This means to maximally incorporate educational activities into the life needs of students. Positively experienced emotions in the process of music classes contribute to the solution of many problems. To «pass» music through oneself, «to live in it» while playing music means to love, to understand. Academician B. V. Asafiev saw the solution to very complex issues of musical pedagogy in the use of the semantic approach, which opens up both the prospect of future research of scientists, and the prospect of developing the methods and methodology of the semantic approach in musical and artistic education and training. Based on the semantic approach of analysis the article explores the brightest cultural codes of the «golden fund of standards» of world music. Some methodical approaches-recommendations and proposals for their practical use in music pedagogy are presented. In the effective and final sections of the article, the relevant conclusions are drawn on the topic of the study. On the basis of semantic approach-analysis it is possible to reveal the phenomenon of musical text, its meaning «not only from the position of phonetics, grammar and syntax», but also «from the point of view of poetics, semantics, style». Using a semantic approach in the process of learning you need to acquire «the skills of oral musical speech» – improvisation, which was once obligatory in the training of a musician. It is necessary to create an «organic intersubject communication» between theoretical disciplines and «music-making practice» because theoretical disciplines can and should be musical. The question is the methods of teaching, the methodology of «immersion» in music. Musical pedagogy has yet to be adopted and mastered, taking into account the level of modern psychology of perception, to develop the methods and methodology of the educational process to interest, captivate, to make students fall in love with music heard and performed.

Khadynskaya A.A. GEORGY SHENGELI: CULTURAL ISOLATION AS A POETIC STRATEGY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 6 (224). P. 145-155

Introduction. This article examines cultural isolation as a form of poetic behavior by Georgy Shengeli, one of the representatives of “Moscow Acmeism” of the first half of the 20th century, consciously chosen by the poet as a reaction to the ideological pressure of the Soviet state in the field of literary policy. The purpose is to trace the formation of this author’s strategy, its causes and reflection in the poet’s lyrics. Material and methods. The methodology of research assumes a literary interpretation of lyrical texts based on the aesthetics and poetics of Acmeism, using the method of intertextual analysis and comparative method of analysis of the poetic text, involving historical commentary. Results and discussion. Georgy Shengeli’s lyrics have rarely attracted the attention of literary critics for the analysis of their poetics; our study is designed to consider the influence of Acmeism on the poetic fabric of texts from different periods of the author’s work, to discover the similarity of the aesthetic and outlook of the poet to the emigrant lyrics, the main theme of which was nostalgia, caused by the forced cultural isolation. Conclusion. Georgy Shengeli’s lyrics fully reflect the strategy of cultural isolation chosen by the poet as the only possible option for creative existence at a time of active promotion of official Soviet art. The poet regarded his “departure” into the world of Culture as a mission for its preservation, voluntarily undertaken as an heir to the Silver Age of Russian poetry. Shengeli, who knew the first generation of great names of the early 20th century, considered as his duty to continue his work as a younger and one of the last in the cohort of poets who did not leave their homeland in the throes of its tragic trials. His experience of forced “retreat into the literary underground” was akin to the emigrant experience of refugee poets resulting from the separation from their native cultural soil. The obvious affinity is largely explained by the commonality of the “cultural womb” of Acmeism, which nurtured Shengeli and his fellow emigrants. The idea of preserving the traditions of Russian literature in the Word unites the poets who live on different sides of the border, and once again proves the vagueness of these borders for a united great Russian culture.

Liu S., Starikova G.N. “YA SIDELA U AKOSHECHKA, PISALA VECHERKOM”: THE VOCABULARY OF WOMEN’S RECORDS FROM NORTHERN TOMSK OF OLD BELIEVERS’ COLLECTION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 3 (221). P. 75-87

Introduction. The study of Russian Old Believer’s dialects is included in modern Russian studies of research problems, as proven by the scientific literature and the subjects of many recent conferences, where the main attention is paid to the lexical problems. Aim and objectives. The analysis of the lexical composition of Old Believer household texts created by one author. Material and methods. The object of the present study were 18 household manuscripts (Paschal diary, various notes, samples of pens and inks, household accounts), written on birch barks and papers in semi-uncial and cursive handwriting. Most of these records were made in the third quarter of the 20th century, presumably by an individual, who is a member of the Old Believer “estates” in the north of Tomsk. The material consists of 733 words (3,367 used). The study uses the scientific description method which includes methods of observation, classification, interpretation, contextual analysis and quantitative counts, as well as linguopersonological elements which include portrait of speech methods and comparative/collation analysis in order to identify gender specificity in the vocabulary of two linguistic personalities. Results and discussion. The analysis showed the vocabulary distribution of the women notes by the author through grammatical classes, their relationship with the types of speech represented in the texts: The description is dominated by nouns and words of the state category, the narrative – verbs of several semantic groups (movement, specific physical actions, etc.), their adverbial actants and the discourse – pronouns, verbs of emotionally-psychological states. The study revealed the most frequent vocabulary for these sources: byt’, den’, yasno, sneg, studeno, etc., as well as words that were used once: apostol, oblachno, usnut’, etc. Semantically, the lexicon of the manuscripts is distributed into two major nominative zones: “World of Nature” and “Human World”, which include a number of sub-zones. The first most representative one of them is sub-zones: “Weather phenomena” (tucha, moroz, syroy, tikhoy zastyt’, dut’, oblachno), “Heavenly objects” (zvezda, solntse), “Elements of the landscape” (ezero, les), etc. The Human World zone includes anthroponymic (Manichka, Stenya, sis, hunter, guest, deushka), somatic (heart, hand), emotive sphere (gore, slezy, neschastnyy, stradat’), industrial (kholst, tkat’, rybka), etc. vocabulary. The nominative zones overlap with each other, as in the Animal World sub-zones (ovsyanochka, los’ – petushok, shchenyata) and Time (noch’, osen’yu – prazdnik, prepolovenie). A separate group is the vocabulary of religious discourse, including confessionally marked (otche, bratets, otluchit’sya). In the aspect of usage, the vocabulary is divided into all-Russian and regional vocabulary. Regional vocabulary includes ethnographisms (morda, cherym), dialectal lexical (malo malo, chayat) and local variants of all-Russian words (suda, vdale, veselyy). A part of the vocabulary shows a commonality with the vocabulary of the diary of the early 20th century, which reflects a different sub-dialect (sinochka, perevalki), and another part is not reflected in the dialect dictionaries at all (nepis, yam). Conclusion. 1. The revealed woman’s lexical resource is characterized by a certain diversity both in terms of its topics and in terms of part of speech, which allows us to consider her linguistic personality (LP) with a high index of lexical diversity of speech. 2. This is a dialectal LP, the lexicon which are marked territorially. In general, they correspond to the lexical subsystem of local priketskii accents with the preservation of their ancestor’s past foreigndialect influence. 3. This personality can be characterized as a religious LP with a confessionally marked vocabulary.

Sartre’s autobiographical tale The Words (Les Mots) are considered in their relation to representing an authorial ego and to existential experience of an autobiographical character, which undergoes authorial formation by going through various stages of reading and writing. Individual literary evolution is specified by its correlation with literary evolution in general. There studied how the mechanism of writing is paradoxically described in the narrative and the way it performs the summit of a single ego’s fulfillment along with the ego’s estrangement and vanishing into generality at the same time. There also revealed an analogy between forming an autobiographical character’s reading and writing habit and his experiencing the notion of death. Krayevskaya I.O. STRUCTURAL AND GRAMMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RUSSIAN TERMS OF THE TERMSYSTEM “OIL AND GAS PROCESSING” // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 93-101

Introduction. The paper focuses on the main structural and grammatical characteristics of the “Oil and Gas Processing” industry terms based on the material of the Russian language. The “Oil and Gas Processing” term system low exploration degree and disordering update the current study. Today, the refining of crude oil and natural gas is a promising area not only in Russia but also in other countries that extract these resources, since the quality of oil and gas products depends on the refining processes efficiency. A more complete understanding of the structure of terms in this field has a positive impact on the formation of the Russian-language scientific picture of the world, and also improves the professional qualities of domestic translators. Aim and objectives. The current paper aims to reveal the patterns of terms syntactic formation of a previously unexplored sphere. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to consider the content word of the term components and describe the structural models. Material and methods. The materials for research are “Basic terms in oil and gas processing. Brief reference book” by Gennadiy Tarakanov, “Transformations of sulfur compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons of oils diesel fractions in the processes of oxidative desulfurization” by Evgeniy Krivtsov, “Popular oil refining” by Leonid Bagdasarov, “Study of the state and prospects of oil and gas refining, oil and gas chemistry in the Russian Federation”. Traditional terminology studies form a methodology basis. Results and discussion. We identify 15 models in the studied term system. There are 1 one-word model, 5 twoword, 6 three-word, and 3 four-word ones. Single-word nouns and two-word terminological combinations constructed according to the “Adj + N” model are the most frequent. Three-word and four-word terms are formed based on twoword phrases. Conclusion. The productivity of term structure models directly depends on the syntactic word-formation processes of a national language. Despite a large number of polysemic terms in the studied field, it seems possible to note a tendency toward the concretization of semantics by complexing the term structure with attributes. The Oil and Gas Processing industry has adapted terms from several sciences, but now its terminology moves from the shortness of terms to their accuracy.

The category of key universal meanings in the field of interpretation of Bakhtin’s doctrine of signs-symbols includes the interpretation of a sign in relation to the understanding of its meaning in the context of a specific communicative-speech situation. In the theory of dialogue, the majority of world scientists recognize the position of dialogue as a form of deployment of communication of any type, a means of intercultural interaction and the formation of a sense of self-identification. The specifics of understanding the concept of M. M. Bakhtin in Chinese philology consists, first of all, in the desire to combine interpretation options that exist in line with both Western and European science. The core and essence of Bakhtin’s academic thought, according to most researchers from China, is the theory of dialogue, the main goal of which is to emphasize a positive humanistic spirit that upholds individuality and is oriented towards equal participation. Conclusion. The core and essence of Bakhtin’s academic thought, according to most researchers from China, is the theory of dialogue, the main goal of which is to emphasize a positive humanistic spirit that upholds individuality and is oriented towards equal participation. Makarenko E.K. GENRE UNIQUENESS OF THE HISTORICAL NOVEL “THE ARCHITECTS” BY A. M. VOLKOV // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 3 (221). P. 134-141

Introduction. Conceived in 1946 by the children’s writer A. M. Volkov historical novel about the era of Ivan the Terrible was published in 1954 under the title “The Architects”. Volkov addressed a turning point in Russian history, when there was the formation of autocratic statehood, the strengthening of the Russian centralized multi-ethnic state. All these historical processes are reflected in the architecture of the sixteenth-century Moscow Cathedral of the Intercession on the Rvu, known as the Church of St. Basil. Aim and objectives. The principles of artistic historicism in the novel “The Architects” by A. M. Volkov are investigated. The influence of genre models of the Western European historical novel of the Romanticism epoch on the way and methods of construction of plot-compositional whole of the work “The Architects” is considered. Material and methods. The article examines the historical novel “The Architects” by A. M. Volkov. Comparativehistorical and typological methods of analysis of the work of fiction were used. Results and discussion. Volkov’s historical novel stands in the tradition of Western European and Russian historical novels of the Romantic era. At the same time in terms of plot construction, composition, in terms of building a system of characters and even chronotopically the novel is divided into two unequal parts. The first three parts are written on the type of adventure-psychological novel, the model of which was laid by Walter Scott. This genre variety of the historical novel is characterized by combining the themes of war and peace, public and private life, and the fate and position of the main character is closely related to the changing historical situation. The last two parts are written in the type of adventure-philosophical novel, a striking example of which is Victor Hugo’s Notre Dame de Paris. The main theme is not the life and adventures of the hero, not a historical or political turning point in the life of the nation, but the connection of history and architectural construction, the statement of moral, ethical and aesthetic values of national culture at a crucial time. Conclusion. The novel “The Architects” shows the erection of the Moscow Cathedral of the Intercession on the Rvu as a monument in honor of an important historical event – the capture of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible. But the Intercession Cathedral is an expression “in stone” of the whole historical era of the formation of the Russian national autocratic state. This masterpiece of Russian architecture embodied identity, originality and national originality of Russian culture, the departure from imitation of Byzantine aesthetic thought, the idea of unification of nearby lands and different ethnic groups around Moscow.
