| 2006 | The article deals with problems of cognitive linguistics. The fundamental concepts comprising world language picture is the centre of attention. The article traces the verbalization of the concept of “bread” in the Russian language, using materials from the academic dictionary that contain some phraseological units with component “bread”, each of which implements one of the main cognitive features of this concept. On the basis of the examples given, it is shown that the degree of phraseologization of these units is different, but nevertheless all of them retain a connection with the original denotate. This circumstance contributes to the preservation of positive connotations in this phraseological paradigm. The analysis of cognitive signs to identify the scope of the concept of “bread” in the language picture of the world of the Russian people is carried out. The question of the original meaning, which forms the main nominative meaning of the word “bread” in Russian, which is present in the semantic structure of all derivatives, regardless of the degree of their distance from the creation of a semantic base, is considered. For the bulk identification of the concepts of “bread” in the linguistic picture of the world of Russian people, an analysis was conducted on the basis of cognitive signs. The fundamental nature of the concept “bread” in a language picture of the world of the Russian people with all evidence is shown at all levels. A complete idea of the scope of this concept can be created only with regard to folklore material. However, the system of the most important cognitive signs is successfully traced on the material of lexical, phraseological and paremiological units. We have been collecting the corresponding materials from dictionaries of V. I. Dal, V. M. Ogoltsev, D. N. Ushakov, M. Fasmer, and the four-volume academic dictionary of Russian (the Small Academic dictionary). The task of cognitive or linguistic-cognitive analysis is to analyze language units, focused on identifying cognitive signs that represent this concept in the structure of a particular character. The research shows that cognitive characteristics realized by the concept “bread” embrace the image of bread in the national thinking of Russian nation. | 2007 | Introduction. In the modern novel “The Senility of Vladimir P” a typical image of a “small man” is created and the myth of Russia as a multi-layered system of stereotypes recognizable by the Western recipient is constructed. The purpose of the study is to characterize the stereotypical image of the Russian “small man” in the modern British novel and to determine its functions in the meta-myth of Russia. Material and methods. The methodology of comparative studies, in particular, imagology is used as its the interdisciplinary nature allows one to study the image of the “Other” in the social, cultural and literary consciousness of another country at intertextual, contextual and textual levels upon the concept of stereotypes (according to J. Leerssen). “The Senility of Vladimir P” by M. Honig is a material for research. Results and discussion. Under a scandalous headline, the author offers us a story about life in Russia through the prism of the theme of “small man”. The main character, Nikolay Sheremetyev, is not inclined to reflection until the situation of loss appears and his beloved nephew is arrested. From this moment on, the narrative is gaining momentum, the main character is changing: reality acquires more and more grotesque features, and reader witnesses painful transformation of Sheremetyev, the “small man”, the last honest person in Russia, who makes a deal with his conscience and begins to act within the framework of English-Saxon tradition. The image of the “Other” is presented by Honig precisely from the perspective of the Anglo-Saxon tradition in which all the other characters are actually written out: Russians only by entourage and consistent with the Western stereotype, but infected with Western individualism. The characters of the novel are classified by type depending on the model of behavior and prototype. Conclusion. M. Honig builds a grotesque, absurd image of Russia in the middle of the XXI century. Ethnotype characters act in conditional situations without author pretending to psychologize the image and reveal characters, because they must create the most complete, comprehensive picture of Russian reality, reflect Russian national features as they fit into the British myth of Russia that is familiar to the British. Honig constructs the ethnotype of Russian citizens of the mid-XXIst century from 1) the image of a small man (Nikolai Sheremetyev), traditional for Russian literature; 2) the media image of Russian elite formed mainly by Western media and Russian liberal media; 3) an exaggerated and schematic image of a typical Russian, featured in Western cinema of the late twentieth century. Before us there is a conflict not only of different attitudes, but the opposition of the Russian and English (more broadly Anglo- Saxon) worlds at the cultural and civilizational level. Honig’s novel is an example of secondary actualization, when a fiction text constructed under the influence of the media begins to be perceived as a non-fiction model, becoming a kind of simulacrum of reality. | 2008 | Introduction. Under rapid changes in social and professional spheres urgent appears the question of organizing the process of professional self-determination and effective employment of university graduates. In connection with it, the article will cover the content of organizational and pedagogical conditions in the process of contributing to the professional self-determination of students of a pedagogical university. Aim – to search for and define the content of organizational and pedagogical conditions contributing to the professional self-determination of students of a pedagogical university. Material and methods. Such methods of analysis as theoretical methods (analyzing and summarizing what is in literature, analyzing statistical data, modelling) and empirical methods (using surveys, questioning, testing) were applied. Stating the set of conditions is based on summarizing empirically the activities of the center for students’ employment. Modern researchers’ approaches to defining “organizational and pedagogical conditions” are presented. Apart from others is the group of researchers analyzing organizational and pedagogical conditions as a set of factors. Also, the article reveals the point of view of researchers who think that organizational and pedagogical conditions are a set of some schemes. Separately we analyze research works by scientists who think that in the definition of “organizational and pedagogical conditions” there are two sensible components: organizational conditions and pedagogical conditions. Results and discussion. Analyzing issues and summarizing empirical experience, it was specified that under organizational conditions we will mean factors that guarantee controlling the process and pedagogical conditions will be understood as factors including content, methods, means, forms of teaching, upbringing that provide achieving pedagogical goals. In such a case, putting together organizational conditions and pedagogical conditions into one set used for achieving one mutual goal will result in organizational and pedagogical conditions together. On the basis of it in Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Tomsk State Pedagogical University” we made up and tested a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions contributing to students’ professional self-determination. Conclusion. There has been put forward the definition of organizational and pedagogical conditions contributing to the professional self-determination of students of a pedagogical university, including students with low motivation for pedagogical profession, that can be used as a basis for the activities of university centers for students’ employment. | 2034 | The article presents the experience of comparative analysis of phraseological units in the Russian and Chinese languages with the somatic component of the “tooth”. The research analyzed the position of the classic and modern linguistic studies, actualizing the cultural semantization of phraseological units. Analytically described the semantic nests of the collected fund of phraseological units with somatism “tooth” in the Chinese and Russian languages. Carried out a comparison of the shared and unique values of phraseological units. In the Chinese language there are idioms connected with speech activity, with the appearance and facial expressions of a person, reflecting the relationship between people, with a person describing the action of speaking, as well as the unique meanings associated with a book, an article, with durability. The following meanings are established in the Russian language: strength, food, experience, reflection of the person’s negative emotions (resentment, wrath, anger, hatred), the symbolic expression of aggression. It is found that somatism “tooth” in Chinese and Russian phraseological units symbolically replaces the individual elements of the surrounding reality, conditioned by the history of peoples, their religions, customs and traditions, the natural conditions and value systems of the people, and therefore can not be considered identically, which must be taken into account in the process of mastering the language, and in the process of translation. | 2035 | Introduction. The need to modernize the educational process in Russia is undeniable. Modernization of pedagogical professional education involves its adaptation to the changed socio-economic and state-political conditions of Russia’s development and the development of the experience of modernization of the educational sphere accumulated by other countries. In a modern educational organization, information and communication infrastructure is one of the main components of the educational process, which has a wide range of didactic electronic educational resources (ESR) as a practice-oriented tactic for optimizing the educational process. The aim is to identify approaches to improving the efficiency of the educational process based on the use of electronic simulators in the training of future specialists. Material and methods. The main sources of the conceptual design of fundamentally new e-learning resources-educational content, pedagogical tools and innovative forms of its development was the experience of professional training of students of “South Ural State Technical College”, bachelor and master degree students of Professional Pedagogical Institute of Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University in the direction of training 44.04.44 Vocational training in the framework of the specialty “Information Security Management in Professional Educational Institutions”; the process of integrative involvement of employers in the development of electronic media simulators; practical experience of forming practice-oriented professional competences of students. The main methods of research are theoretical analysis of the published material on the integration of the implementation of the ESM-ensure high-quality implementation of the regulations of the federal state educational standards 3 ++ for professional training of bachelors and undergraduates. Results and discussion. We have analyzed the materials of publications on the problem of bringing professional education to the modern needs of the labor market, the main difficulties of which are associated with its rather complex internal semantics, including several significant levels of hierarchy and connections between different types of very fragmented information that is not acceptable enough for making effective decisions, including in the conditions of forced use of distance learning. From the standpoint of reliability theory, it is almost impossible to hope for encouraging results without a scientifically-based approach to development within the framework of qualimetric digitalization based on the use of resources from various content platforms and cross-platform ERM templates. A special role in the light of the often forced use of distance learning belongs to such pedagogical tools as an electronic simulator (ES), designed for the interrelated performance of three main functions-diagnostic, training, and educational-when working out practical skills of students, forming their skills of motor-reflex and cognitive actions in difficult situations, understanding the essence of the processes and their mutual dependence. Implementation on the basis of CodeRunner plugin (V3.3.0) for Moodle multiplayer FLOOR in the provision of quality of formation of universal and professional competencies of vocational education students in these areas has allowed to reveal that the use of ES contributes to the growth of educational achievements of students, at least 15 %, which, in turn, affects the increase of the level (degree) of the formation of their competence, predetermining improving the efficiency of the educational process, improvement of its constituent elements. Thus in addition to increasing the average educational achievements of students still recorded an increase of 18 % and median characteristics, then there is a corresponding decrease in the proportion of students with high handles in replies to questions of control tests. Effective modernization of the educational process of pedagogical professional education, in our opinion, largely depends on the integrative implementation of the use of innovative platforms of various architectures and cross-platform templates of EOR-educational content of pedagogical tools, based within the framework of the modern teaching paradigm on the conceptual provisions and methods of pedagogy, measurements, mathematical modeling and scientific and analytical statistics of the qualimetric approach. The article analyzes the trends in the use of electronic educational resources (EER) to improve the practice-oriented component of the component of professional education. One of the directions in the light of often forced distance learning is the use of media content of electronic simulators (ES), designed to form the skills of motor-reflex and cognitive actions in complex situations, understanding the essence of the processes on the basis of the interrelated performance of three main functions-diagnostic, training, educational in the development of practical skills of students. Conclusion. The resource capabilities of verifying the variants of content platform architectures and cross-platform templates of such educational tools of EOR as ES, as well as innovative forms of their development and implementation, allow us to hope for encouraging results in finding ways to improve the efficiency of the educational process of professional educational organizations (VET), timely leveling of the contradiction between the requirements of employers of the modern post-industrial society and the level of formation of professional competencies of VET graduates. | 2042 | The research of means verbalizing the modal semantics, and in particular of modal verbs remains urgent in modern linguistics as they express modal values of the possibility and need which are ones of the most important in the cognitive and communicative relation. In its turn, cognitive and communicative needs of society remain variable and that causes semantic function extension of the language means, which are constantly to respond to the needs of society noted above. In this regard the semantics studying of the verb müssen is especially significant. The purpose of the research presented in this article is to reveal specifics and to define the mechanisms of the past and current semantic changes of the verb müssen that have ensured its development as a modal verb according to cognitive and communicative needs of the German society. To that effect the original Old, Middle, Early New and New High German texts were studied. In the selected examples from the given texts by means of the method of semantic interpretation and using the method of contextual analysis the meanings of preterite-present verb müssen functioning as modal verb in the correspondent periods of the development of German language were determined. Due to the consistent usage of the method of comparison and collation in the process of analysis of the meanings their similarities and differences were determined. For more detailed reflection on the transformation development tendency in the semantics of the verb müssen appearing in modal function the methods of mathematical statistics were also used. As a result of the conducted research semantic peculiarities of the verb müssen functioning in various periods of German were specified and the mechanism of the past and current changes is defined. The basic semantic transformation mechanism of the verb müssen into both modal objective and, from Early New High German, into modal subjective semantic is context-induced reinterpretation.
