Kirillova E.N. QUANTUM EQUIVALENCE OF MASSIVE AND MASSLESS P-FORM MODELS IN CURVED D-DIMENSIONAL SPACE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 13 (128). P. 85-88

We consider massive and massless p-forms in arbitrary D-dimensional curved space-time. Quantization of these models and evaluation of effective actions have been performed. Results are presented in terms of d'Alembertians acting on p-forms. The massive theories of p-forms do not possess gauge invariance, in contrary of massless theories. The gauge invariance is restored with help of multi-step Stuckelberg procedure. Comparising effective actions of classically equivalent theories (massless quantum theory of p-forms and theory of (D-p-2)-forms, massive quantum theory of p-forms and theory of (Dp-1)-forms), we demonstrate a quantum equivalence of corresponding models. A zeta-function excluding zero modes has been used.

Ivashkina K.S., Lavrov P.M. REMARK ON THE JACOBI IDENTITIES IN ASSOCIATIVE ALGEBRAS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2013. Issue 8 (136). P. 198-199

In the paper associative algebras and Jacobi identities, which appear after introduction of commutator and write down in the form of double commutators for arbitrary three elements of a given algebra, are considered. We show that in any associative algebra there exist identities, which are written in the form of single commutators for any three elements. From these identities one can derive the Jacobi identities but not the contrary. It allows us to speak of fundamental (basic) identities existing for any associative algebra.

Nizkodubov G.A. SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL AND LINGUISTIC OBSTACLES WHEN TEACHING ENGLISH TO ADULT LEARNERS IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTINUING EDUCATION. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 8 (149). P. 62-65

The paper deals with some common problems we face when teaching adult language learners, in particular learners who have considerable experience of studying but still seem to be stuck at the lower levels of elementary and pre-intermediate due to their low self-esteem, high level of anxiety, and fear of making mistakes. Adult learners face difficulties when listening to the target language. Nevertheless, the types and the extent of difficulty differ and much listening comprehension research has been conducted to investigate these differences. The results of this body of research show that listener difficulties may be influenced by a number of factors.

Terminological certainty is one of the conditions for the successful introduction of the integration of national cultures in the physical education of preschool children. The article deals with the concept of “integration”, “national culture”, “physical education” based on their interconnectedness and interdependence of identity in the context of the designated research problems and offers the authors’ approach to the definition of the concept of “integration of national cultures in the physical education of 3–7 year old children”.

The paper examines the views of various groups of French-Canadian society (provincial government of Quebec, Roman Catholic Church’s representatives, French Canadian nationalists, provincial press of different social and political orientation) on the question of sending French-Canadian battalions to Europe. As a result of the research, it estimates the level of imperial loyalty of the population of Quebec on the question of Canada‘s participation in the imperial wars. It studies the objective and subjective factors of the passivity of voluntary recruitment in Quebec (lack of military experience of the French-Canadian population, insufficient number of provincial police forces, traditionalism of the the rural population, anti-militarism propaganda of French-Canadian pacifists and nationalists, imperial policy of Department of Militia in Federal Government).
