The article makes an attempt not just to consider the activities and role of special libraries in providing people with various forms of disabilities with free and equal access to information resources and services, but also to determine the model of the development of institutions of this type. | 4613 | Introduction. The article offers a genre aspect of the study of regional media texts on the social group of the Russian society nominated “elderly people”. The aim of the study is to identify the lexical, pragmatic, stylistic originality of the texts of regional network media about an elderly person. Material and methods. The analysis methods used: semantic analysis of words and utterances, stylistic analysis of the utterance and text, communicative and pragmatic analysis. Research material: 86 texts posted on the websites of regional news agencies “Omsk Here” (43 texts) and “Super Omsk” (43 texts) in the period from July 11, 2017 to April 8, 2018. The selection of empirical material was carried out according to the criterion of the presence in them of the combination of “elderly person” and the token “pensioner”. The working hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the content of regional online media about an elderly person will be dominated by informational and analytical genres, as well as negative topics. Results and discussion. The results of the study confirmed the working hypothesis. A thematic, stylistic, pragmatic analysis of the texts of regional network media with the subject area “elderly people” revealed genre monotony and diffuseness (dominance of the genre notes with and without an analytical component), combining different genre features (information note, monitoring, interview, review); the shift of genre forms towards information structures; prevalence of official business style; lack of imaginative means of expression; weak individualization of the style (uniformity of the lexical composition; strengthening the negative effect of the effect of the type through the use of strategies of informing and emotionally evaluative type). The study also showed the dominance of the informational genre group, in particular the notes, in which the author’s desire to present an objective, supported by concrete facts view of an elderly person is realized. The genres of a note, a subject interview, a commentary on a regional media discourse about older people are “tied” to topics of health and criminal accidents, for which a syncretic functional style is used, combining the features of official business and journalistic styles. Conclusion. The combination of the two styles allows journalists to be as short, informative and accurate as possible (features of an official business style), but at the same time with a fair amount of emotion, clear and simple (features of a journalistic style) convey information to the general reader about an elderly person. It is devoted to the problem of mutual understanding of loving people, their readiness to build relationship in a family and accept a compromise. The motive “learner-teacher” plays an essential role in the logic of the play. This motive is developing during the act of the play and is linking plotlines of different characters. This motive is shown on several levels: verbal, situational and on the level of the system of characters. The author of the article has tried to analyse the semantic spectrum of the motive. In the post-war time the loss of kin relations is filled up with family creation that is with clan creation. It distinguishes the work of E. L. Shvarts from the Soviet literature representing a family as the state. An important psychological, social and ontological role is played in this case by “teachers” who are keepers and propagators of life values. The followers are represented by people of young generation who have already created families or who are on the way toward it. The teachers are people of older generation (tutors, fellow workers, casual acquaintances and also come to life toys, the appearance of which attaches fabulousness to the play. The object of analysis is the new words which appeared in the Russian language of the Eastern abroad as a result of word-formation. First of all different morphological means of word-formation, variety of suffixal and affixal methods and compressive word-formation are under examination more often. Word-formation models and their activity in the Russian language of Eastern abroad are investigated on the material of the Harbin journal “Rubezh” which has been published in Harbin since 1926 till 1945 years, memorial sources by I. Dyakov, E. Taskina, E. Shirinskaya and others, and works of art of Russian Eastern countries. Conditions for the functioning of the Russian language in Harbin of the first half of the twentieth century are seen as unique, contributing not only to preservation but also to the full functioning of the Russian language in Manchuria. The article analyzes 45 new lexical items created in the language of the eastern countries: Nouns (77.8 per cent of appellation of total new words), Pronouns (17.8 per cent), Verbs (it is only one word in our work), Adverbs (it is only one word in our work too). | 4632 | Introduction. The article examines images, motives, allusions tied to Italy in the prose of N. F. Pavlov. Pavlov’s Italian text corresponds to the one of the Lubomudry to whom he was close and to the Italian text of Russian romanticism as a whole. The issue of Pavlov’s Italian text is relevant: his creativity was not studied in this aspect, although his images and motives of Italy is a significant part of the cultural dialogue between Russia and Italy in Russian romanticism. The aim of the research is to reveal the imagological phenomenon of the Italian text in Pavlov’s stories and determine its specificity. Methods of research are comprehensive analysis and intertextual comparisons. Results and discussion. The research shows that Italian text plays an important role in Pavlov’s prose. As well as in the writings of Lubomudry, it is significant at the implicit level of motives and allusions. According to the tradition of German and Russian romanticism, Italy is tied to the art, beauty, and spiritual life. It is a part of the mythologeme of the beautiful South opposite to the North. The image of Ancient Rome as a symbol of strength and power is important. However, these connotations exist in the prosaic reality of high society; thus, Italy embodies lost values and ideals. Texts realize this viewpoint through Italian musical terms, proper names, allusions to Italian art combined satirically with the unspiritual reality. The use of “Italian” allusions through a foreign “author-mediator” is interesting. Some plot features point to a possible typological connection with the poetics of the Renaissance Italian novella. Thus, Pavlov’s Italian text is a particular semantic phenomenon close to the Italian text of the Lubomudry; it is tied to the philosophical issues, psychological collisions of characters, romantic myth of Italy and its art. However, it has some specific features. Pavlov’s Italian text is a significant part of the cultural dialogue between Russia and Italy. Practical significance. The research material may be used in such university philological courses as “History of the 19th century Russian Literature”, “Imagology”, “Comparative Studies”. | 4633 | Introduction. The article analyzes transformative potential of the verbative synlexes – stable composite units of language, functional analogues of verbs. Material and methods. Material of research is the verbative synlexes with different grammatical components (“vesti”, “delat’/sdelat’”, “okazyvat’/okazat’”, “sovershat’/sovershit’” etc.). The source of this material is the dictionary by V.M. Deribas “Stable verb-and-noun collocations of Russian language” (1979). The author of this article detects and describes transforming potential of the verbative synlexes with the support of the texts of different styles and genres of XX–XXI centuries from Internet resource “National Corpus of the Russian language” (http://www.ruscorpora.ru) and uses descriptive method and method of contextual analysis. Results and discussion. The article detects and describes following types of transformations of the verbative synlexes: structural, semantic, syntactical and derivational. Structural transformations include ellipsis, contamination and enlargement of composition of synlex. Ellipsis and contamination are unusual phenomena which create comic effect and show. Enlargement of composition of synlex is the most common type of verbative synlexes’ transformation. There are the following determinative components: adjective, noun in a form of oblique case, combinations of words, numeral, infinitive. It’s necessary to use an adverb or comparison in structure of some synlexes. The author classifies adjectives as structural components of verbative synlexes based on the following criteria: 1) obligatory/optional; 2) unit/multiple; 3) commonly used/occasional; 4) thematic group affiliation; 5) function (concretizing, expressive and estimating, transforming). Semantic transformation is the development of figurative meanings for some synlexes genetically connected with professional sphere. Inversion is a syntactical transformation which brings to the forefront a substantive component of synlex – its notional center. Derivational type of transformation is a connection an expressive suffix to substantive component of synlex which make expressive the whole combination. Conclusion. Being originally neutral units verbative synlexes as a result of different transformations get expressive and estimating potential and characterize a process more accurately and in greater detail than verb. The paper considers the ideological level of its axiological modeling, which is understood as a system of communicative norms, genre and theme making, and axiological attitudes within the boundaries of discourse. | 4648 | The article considers individual aspect of time perception. Firstly, a brief theoretical review of problem studies goes. Depending on mood and activity, personal time proceeds either quickly or slowly and it can be either pleasant or not. Positive emotions bring a deceptive impression of a fast flow of time. Negative emotions, on the contrary, subjectively lengthen the time intervals. The practical part examines around 30 modern English set expressions denoting time as perceived by a person. The conclusion says that the perception of time as short/long or pleasant/unpleasant is expressed in speech through fixed collocations used by authors of modern fiction. Short time is described in dictionary English set expressions as “fun” and “it flies”. Long time “hangs heavily on one’s hands.” Unpleasant time is “bad, hard, dark, evil, rough, thin, lean and it is not one’s own. Pleasant time is “good, easy, the best of one’s life, the time of one’s life, high and there’s a lot of it”. Pleasant time “has its moments, it is one’s finest hour and it makes one’s day”. Fiction authors’ creative thinking depicts bad time as “poor, awful, dreadful, horrible, terrible, very uncomfortable, devil of a time and hell of a bloody time”.
