| 4701 | The article features the findings of the study dedicated to the implementation of the agricultural metaphor in the 1910s in the adamistic verse of Vladimir Narbut and Mikhail Zenkevich. In this period, the sowing and harvest-related images appeared to be particularly topical for the poets referred to the literary school of Adamism. The image of death – sowing – became highly significant. The human body dipped into soil becomes nutritious environment and obtains the qualities of a seed, from which a new world, the heaven on earth, is to grow. For both poets, it is typical to refer to such images as “Mother Earth” and the human plant; they also focus on subduing the human being by the chthonian powers. | 4702 | The use of photoselective polyethylene films with thermic properties used as greenhouse cover materials at cultivation of Eruca sativa Mill., Korsika resulted in change of vegetative growth and plants development. The thermic films have IR-reflecting properties (700–1400 nm) due to low-emission coatings with copper compounds (film TF1) and compounds of silver and copper (film TF2) on the surface of polyethylene films. The use of thermic films was conducive to decrease in wide fluctuations in day and night temperatures in greenhouses, because of increase in night temperatures up to 2 °C compared to unmodified polyethylene film. The change of light and temperature growth conditions of E. sativa by thermic film (TF-2) resulted in increase the yield (leaf number, fresh weight, and dry weight). Increase in productivity up to 60 % was followed by the rise in ascorbic acid level in plant leaves. Thermic film TF-1 did not contribute to change of plant growth, development and productivity of Eruca sativa compared to unmodified polyethylene film. | 4704 | The article is devoted to the formation of new words in the Russian language of the eastern emigration of the 20–40s of the XX century. The object of analysis is the new words which appeared in the Russian language of the Eastern abroad as a result of word-formation. First of all different morphological means of word-formation, variety of suffixal and affixal methods and compressive word-formation are under examination more often. Word-formation models and their activity in the Russian language of Eastern abroad are investigated on the material of the Harbin journal “Rubezh” which has been published in Harbin since 1926 till 1945 years, memorial sources by I. Dyakov, E. Taskina, E. Shirinskaya and others, and works of art of Russian Eastern countries. Conditions for the functioning of the Russian language in Harbin of the first half of the twentieth century are seen as unique, contributing not only to preservation but also to the full functioning of the Russian language in Manchuria. The article analyzes 45 new lexical items created in the language of the eastern countries: Nouns (77.8 per cent of appellation of total new words), Pronouns (17.8 per cent), Verbs (it is only one word in our work), Adverbs (it is only one word in our work too). | 4705 | The article deals with the notion of “strategic speech competence” in the composition of communicative competence, its structure, represented by substantial and pragmatic components. The urgency of the proposed problem is to intensify the process of teaching the Korean language at school and at a university. One of the ways to solve the problem of preparing graduates for speaking in a foreign language in the Korean language is the formation of strategic speech competence among students in the process of mastering the Korean language. The content component reflects the specifics of the Korean language, namely knowledge of cultural traditions, knowledge of social situations and social functions of communication, non-verbal features of oral-speech communication in the Korean language. The pragmatic component is represented by a complex of compensatory, perceptual and discursive skills. Particular attention is paid to the definition of a “discursive skill”, a “discursive marker”. The discursive skills include 1) the ability to accurately formulate your thoughts, 2) the ability to accurately use a variety of language tools, 3) the ability to defend your point of view, 4) the ability to introduce yourself; 5) the ability to put forth possible variants “For” and “Against”; 6) the ability to conclude, 7) the ability to end the conversation. The discursive markers include introductory sentences, prepositional constructions, introductory words, particles, functioning primarily in oral speech and orienting it on the listener. Discursive markers in Korean are distinguished. Methodical techniques aimed at forming strategic speech competence and teaching oral-speech communication in the Korean language are proposed. | 4706 | The results of experimental work on approbation of pedagogical support for the formation of readiness of bachelors of management for profession development are considered. The results obtained earlier in the course of the study made it possible to conclude that the first-year students participating in the study who chose the direction of training “Human Resources Management” have low awareness of the specifics, nature and content of the professional work of personnel specialists, orientation and expression of motives, formation of professionally important qualities. This determines the necessity to strengthen the orientation on the formation of personal readiness to master the profession from the first days of study at the university. In this regard, a set of pedagogical means has been developed and implemented, namely: the program of the training course “Introduction to Professional Activitiy”, a training manual and other methodical means. The content of the training course was realized according to a specific algorithm, including the decomposition of learning objectives and related with them planned results of training, selection and structuring of content, determination of methods for assessing the results of course mastering during and at the end of the study according to criteria and indicators for the implementation of relevant diagnostic tasks. This approach made it possible to ensure the structural, substantive and methodological integrity of the course, the relationship with other training courses and, in general, to pay attention to improving the level of readiness of bachelors in management to master professional competencies at the initial stage of training. The results of approbation confirm the hypothesis put forward by us on the need to include this course in the professional training of bachelors of management to ensure its effectiveness. | 4707 | Introduction. The article analyzes transformative potential of the verbative synlexes – stable composite units of language, functional analogues of verbs. Material and methods. Material of research is the verbative synlexes with different grammatical components (“vesti”, “delat’/sdelat’”, “okazyvat’/okazat’”, “sovershat’/sovershit’” etc.). The source of this material is the dictionary by V.M. Deribas “Stable verb-and-noun collocations of Russian language” (1979). The author of this article detects and describes transforming potential of the verbative synlexes with the support of the texts of different styles and genres of XX–XXI centuries from Internet resource “National Corpus of the Russian language” (http://www.ruscorpora.ru) and uses descriptive method and method of contextual analysis. Results and discussion. The article detects and describes following types of transformations of the verbative synlexes: structural, semantic, syntactical and derivational. Structural transformations include ellipsis, contamination and enlargement of composition of synlex. Ellipsis and contamination are unusual phenomena which create comic effect and show. Enlargement of composition of synlex is the most common type of verbative synlexes’ transformation. There are the following determinative components: adjective, noun in a form of oblique case, combinations of words, numeral, infinitive. It’s necessary to use an adverb or comparison in structure of some synlexes. The author classifies adjectives as structural components of verbative synlexes based on the following criteria: 1) obligatory/optional; 2) unit/multiple; 3) commonly used/occasional; 4) thematic group affiliation; 5) function (concretizing, expressive and estimating, transforming). Semantic transformation is the development of figurative meanings for some synlexes genetically connected with professional sphere. Inversion is a syntactical transformation which brings to the forefront a substantive component of synlex – its notional center. Derivational type of transformation is a connection an expressive suffix to substantive component of synlex which make expressive the whole combination. Conclusion. Being originally neutral units verbative synlexes as a result of different transformations get expressive and estimating potential and characterize a process more accurately and in greater detail than verb. Keywords: verbative synlexes, ellipsis, contamination, enlargement of composition of synlex, figurative meaning, inversion | 1755 | |||||
| 4708 | Introduction. The structural features of electronic military information texts have been analyzed. The necessity to describe the electronic texts is caused by the transition of communication to the electronic mode, which has had a significant impact on the composition of military information texts. The aim is to describe the compositional features of electronic military information texts. Material and methods. The research methods include compositional analysis, descriptive-analytical and comparative method. The material of the research is military information texts extracted by the random sampling method from the websites military.com (30 texts) and nationalinterest.com (35 texts). Results and discussion. Distinctive features of the electronic military information texts include multimedia, hypertext, intersemioticity and interactivity. The classification of electronic military-information texts on the basis of the means of communication has been presented. Online and offline electronic texts are distinguished in accordance with this parameter. Several types of hypertext links are used in military information texts: intratextual links containing reference to the materials published on other sites; non-textual auto hypertext links with contact information of the author of the article; non-textual hypertext links which lead to the article on similar subjects. The main types of hypertext links are also defined in terms of their language representation. The dual nature of interactivity as one of the elements of the composition of the electronic military information text was established. On the one hand, it provides the direct interaction between the addresser and the addressee. On the other hand, interactivity is realized through intersemiotic elements (cross-posting), which allow spreading and sharing information on different Internet sites (social networks, forums, e-mail). Hypertext, intersemioticity, interactivity are considered as obligatory characteristics of the electronic military information texts. Multimedia is regarded as an optional characteristic of the electronic military information text, because video fragments as one of the communication blocks of the text are not present in all texts, although a creolized component in the form of a photo is an obligatory part of text composition. A comparative analysis of the communication blocks in electronic texts has been carried out. Electronic military information texts with strict and free composition have been singled out. Conclusion. It has been proved that the obligatory compositional features of the electronic military information text are intertextuality, interactivity and intersemioticity. The results of the peculiarities of compositional analysis show the promising nature of the investigation of pragmastylistic features of electronic military information texts. | 4724 | The article is of great importance due to the increasing interest of modern linguistics to issues of conceptualizing time in general and in fact in the perception of representatives of different cultures. The research is conducted on the basis of the Ket language that is crucial due to the raising interest of linguists to the endangered languages. The Ket language is a unique archaic language without literacy, and the only one representing language of the Yenisey linguistic family. The goal of the research is to elicit basic cognitive metaphors of time in the Ket linguage. The research reveals crucial methods to form temporal concepts, universal biologically supported determinated features of temporal representation in the perception of a person. The research also studies occurrence of universal characteristics on the language level on the basis of the Ket language. The research studies the nouns naming time periods and components of its syntagmatic environment. On the basis of comparison of initial and resulting metaphoric meanings of lexical units, the main metaphoric models to percept time in the Ket language have been specified: dynamic language model and static language model. Dynamic language model reveals time as a space that a human passes through. In the work a model of time movement is considered as the basis for language perception because means of its expressions are frequent and regular. Statistic model is considered as less relevant because used only in literal metaphors. The main spatial time image is a straight line indicating back and forth direction. | 4725 | Anthropocentric approach is currently very relevant in studying of language and culture. According to this approach the person appears to be the central reference point in measurement and description of objects of the surrounding reality. The question of spatial orientation is not quite studied at the moment in the Selkup culture which owing to its originality is of special interest for consideration. The article is devoted to studying of the above-stated question through the “prism” of a human body. Having carried out the linguistic analysis of names of parts of a human body it has been revealed that a human being is considered to be a focal point in view of the Selkups both in plane (horizontal) division of space and in vertical. Somonims are used by representatives of the Selkup ethnos to describe positions of parts of objects in space. Thus, somatic vocabulary is revealed to denote upper, lower, front, back, side and inner parts of objects. Moreover, some of them changed their grammatical category into postpositions and are currently used to describe the movements against parts of objects having certain position in space, i.e. the movements against the upper, lower, front, back and side parts of objects and the movement oriented inside. | 4726 | The task of this work is to identify the features of foreign inclusions in the letters of the Romantic poets. Foreign inclusions in their correspondence are an important characteristic of poetics, which until now has not attracted special attention of researchers. The purpose of the paper is to identify and compare foreign inclusions in the epistolary prose of Vasily Zhukovsky and Konstantin Batuyshkov in the context of biography and literary creativity of the authors. It is concluded that Batuyshkov uses primarily Latin and Italian inclusions to incorporate intertexts of Romance culture, for self-identification and authentication of the correspondence partner; in the dialogue of the poet with Nikolay Gnedich these inclusions form a special communicative code. In the ego-documents of Vasily Zhukovsky German inclusions predominate and play a similar role, expressing the most important philosophical and aesthetic concepts of the Romanticism. The analysis of foreign inclusions in the epistle of Batyushkov and Zhukovsky allows expanding significantly the notion of the language biography of these authors. The results confirm the hypothesis that a particular author prefers certain foreign literature. Batyushkov’s letters represent full type of foreign inclusions, Zhukovsky’s letters represent full and partial types, he tends to fix foreign words on the derivational model of the Russian language, or to combine the graphics of the source language and Russian. Some types of foreign inclusions, used by both authors, fit into the poetics of the epistolary tradition of the Arzamas society. | 4737 | Introduction. The article describes the semantic model of auditory perception of “irreality”, represented in the text of the novel by Victor Pelevin. Modeling of perception processes is one of the parameters of the artistic text considered in the analysis of its communicative and semantic structure. Images based on sensory sensations are a key component of the artistic picture of the author’s world. Material and methods. The study of the semantics of perceptivity on the material of postmodern texts is directly connected with the problem of “reality/irreality” of the described events, objects, phenomena in the artistic space of the text, which makes the research topic relevant, and includes the research in the scientific context. Results and discussion. The description of irreal events presupposes a change (deformation) of the invariant perception model, primarily related to the “strengthening” of the role of the object of perception. Particular attention is paid to the “mismatch” of the perceptual and mental modes. “Uncertainty”, “blurring”, “strangeness” of objects of perception, caused by the impossibility of visual activity and the altered state of the character’s consciousness, are actualized. Description of the unusual perceptual experience of characters indicates that in the situation of unavailability (absence) of the visual channel of perception, auditory perception allows to model a “picture” that exists only in the altered consciousness of one or another character of the narrative. Linguistic analysis of the fragments of the text showed that “irreality” becomes one of the objects of comprehension and creative reflection of the author of the novel. To represent the situation of unusual auditory perception, a wide range of language means is used (indefinite pronouns, comparative constructions, indefinitepersonal and impersonal one-member sentences, complex sentences with complement clauses and correspondences, etc.). In some cases, the subject of perception realizes that the events observed are of an irreal nature and tries to find their analogue in the familiar world (relying on their auditory sensations). This leads to the emergence of various analogies and comparisons in the text of the novel. The conclusion emphasizes that due to transpositional transfers (vision – hearing), the perceptual component is “strengthened” and the artistic space of the work is “expanded”. | 4747 | The article discusses the problem of developing skills in writing for academic purposes in English. The feedback plays a very important role in teaching writing. The students’ attitude questionnaire results towards feedback prove that students value the teacher’s feedback and feel some uncertainty about receiving feedback from their peers. The application of the assessment technique, combining peer and teacher evaluation, to teaching master and graduate students is described. This system makes students self-edit and redraft their essays twice before giving to the teacher for grading. It is shown that this technique contributes to the development of academic writing skills of master and graduate students. | 4748 | Problems of dialogue, regulation of cognitive activity of the reader by means of the text are key to the theory of regulativity developed in Tomsk state pedagogical university, and the theory of intertextuality. The study is performed under the scientific directions. The indicated problem is connected with the highly complex philosophical and linguistic aspects of Mandelstam’s poetry and creativity as its outstanding representative. The creativity of Mandelstam is highly intertextual. The author previously identified five types of lexical regulative models of the intertextual type in it, therefore in this study was conducted an experiment, aimed at identifying their regulatory power. According to indications of language consciousness of the informants, the regulatory power of these structures are influenced by the following linguistic factors: the type of intertexts - respondents noted the key role of pretextual information, of precedent names; the location of intertexts in strong positions (the elements of the pretext of the first poetic stanza); the saturation of the intertextual elements of the poems – the more saturated intertextuality elements of the texts are, the higher their regulatory power. Within the whole text, the models with the minimal amount or the lack of pretextual information have the greatest regulative force, if the saturation coefficient of intertexts is high in the texts themselves. Extra-linguistic factors that affect the regulatory power of the texts include: the level of knowledge of informants; respondents‘ beliefs about their competence in assessing the understanding of the poems; emotional state during the experiment. | 4749 | Introduction. The article reveals the specifics of the archetypal images of earth, water, and air in L. Goralik’s trilogy about Venisana, which, in our opinion, contributes to a deeper understanding of the main trends in the development of modern Russian-language prose. The purpose of the work: to reveal the originality of archetypal images in L. Goralik’s cycle about Venisana. Material and methods. The theoretical basis of the research was the works of Russian structuralists and mythologists. The research material is L. Goralik’s trilogy about Venisana. Results and discussion. The analysis made it possible to identify the characteristic features of archetypal images in the L. Goralik trilogy. The images of stone, earth, water, air reveal their symbolic nature, reflecting the inner movement of the heroine in search of finding the meaning of her existence, at the same time, revealing the deep desire of the individual to change a destructive, unstable society. Conclusion. The author is involved in a postmodern game with the text, plays with meanings, so that the plot that unites the trilogy into a whole can be interpreted as 1) the story of the heroine’s growing up; 2) transformation of the fairy-tale plot of the journey to the afterlife; 3) the struggle of the conscious/unconscious. The text of the trilogy is a step-by-step analysis of the spiritual life of the main character, trying to find her place in a destructive society and her own family, burdened with an analysis of her own frustrations and, first of all, the drama of birth. The heroine is bound by the laws of the stone, unfree world, trying to escape into the space of freedom, relive the euphoria of birth, which ends in disaster – the newfound freedom discourages with its alienation and emptiness. The scenario with some variations is repeated several times throughout all three stories included in the cycle. The lack of freedom associated with the world of the city (stone), depending on the situation, turns out to be hostile (at the beginning of the quest), and desirable at the end. The return to the usual way of life is again replaced by the desire for freedom and leads to the next round of transformation.
