The article considers the problem of games as a means of education and teaching technics. The first part refers to the concept of a game itself and different approaches are reviewed. Then the experience of preparing and holding a game with senior school pupils is described. The game was called «Awareness of probiematisation technology (on the example of activity of a translator))). Schoolchildren translated limericks from English into Russian and pointed out basic schemes of their own activity. Translations were presented and analyzed as derivatives of certain lines of approach to translation - word for word and sense for sense. The norm of translation activity was practiced.

The author reconstructs a big quantity of semi-affixes and affixes with the semantics of space occupation and discrete space, container and fulcrum. Many of them have a lexical origin. A substantial number of original etimologies of many Yenissean words is made. The author comes to the conclusion that Yenissean languages had many typological reconstructions during their history.

Kazantseva Tatyana Yuryevna The Main Groups of the Gothic Nouns with Compound Stem-Building Markers and their Parallels in Indo-European Languages. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 17-25

We have investigated ja-, jM-stems and found that they are characterized by the semantic unity. On the whole they denote animate objects of the real world or objects played the relevant role in economic life of the Germanic people. There are nouns marked by these stem-building markers, which express possession. Such nouns have the meaning of pertaining to something or somebody. We might conclude that the consonantal marker -j- is the characteristic of nouns of all three genders, therefore it didn’t relate to the grammatical category of gender, which was formed later. As the marker is rather old (Corbett), the original meaning of -j- was connected with an earlier category – category of animateness/inanimateness, i.e. it was the marker of animateness. This is determined by the semantic and etymological analyses of the Gothic ja-, jM-stems. It is possible to subdivide the Gothic nouns of ja-, jM-stems denoting animate things in perception of ancient people into six groups: 1) nouns denoting people and their occupation; 2) nouns of relationship; 3) nouns denoting animals and plants; 4) nouns denoting realities bound up with a person or animal; 5) nouns in any case pertaining to a person and his activity; 6) nouns denoting natural phenomena.

In the Yeniseian languages modifying words are distinguished as a single class, in which items display similar functional (they attribute nouns and verbs) and have the same morphological characteristics (they are non-inflected in the attributive function and inflected in the predicative function). The class of modifying words is represented by three big semantic groups: temporal, local and qualitative modifiers. The article will provide a classification of qualitative modifiers in the Yeniseian languages: Ket, Jugh and Kott.

It allow us to show that verbal code is a reliable sourсe of the ethnocultural information.

The author makes an attempt to make a share of contribution to the research of the pivotal component of the problem of civic population evacuation – the evacuation of population from Stalingrad and the accommodation of the evacuees at the Siberian land. The article shows the peculiarities and hardships of the situation of the city of Stalingrad, which became the centre of evacuation processes in the South of the country due to its geographical and economical situation, transport development. The paper gives the analysis of the reasons for the belatedness of the mass evacuation held in the city, evacuation of the highly qualified cadres and their families, the ways of solving complex problems of accommodation of the arrivals form Stalingrad in Siberia. The paper makes a special emphasis on the issue as the specialists from Stalingrad arrived in order to build the large plant Transmash, which was to produce diesel engines for tanks, the production of which had been terminated at the Stalingrad Tractor Plant. The papers shows the system of measures undertaken for solving this accommodation problem, highlights that it required the development of the special plan, creation of staging points, organizations of food, medical and social services, mobilization of transport organizations. In spite of many hardships the task of providing the arrived people and their families with living accommodations was solved.

Complex structure of the genre of Erdman’s play “Suicide” is analyzed in the context of the classical examples of the tragedy with suicide. Traditional motives of suicide in Western drama are fault redemption, a desperate situation, honor, love, search for death as a form of “hidden suicides”. Russian Drama of the 19th century transfers motive of suicide from tragedy to a tragic farce or to “a comedy with suicide” by entering the motives “shammer of dead” and “unmotivated” suicide, which complicates the genre and distorts the mechanism of genre expectations. Reduction of the classical models and their rethinking take place in “Suicide” by Erdman, who created a rare genre – parody to tragedy.

Numerical methods allow to circumvent the difficulties associated with lack of mathematical knowledge among the college students who are required to study physics. Using elementary numerical methods the models of various oscillating systems are built. A pendulum, a piston moving in a cylinder under the effect of pressure difference in a cylinder and a material point oscillating around the circumference under the action of elastic force, show a qualitatively different dependence between the amplitude and period of oscillations. Through the numerical solution of differential equations of the mathematical package MathCAD studied the motion of Kapitsa pendulum with a non-trivial restoring force. Construction of two - and three-dimensional graphs in MathCAD is applied to combine mutually perpendicular oscillations and obtaining Lissajous’s figures. Self-oscillating systems are presented in the form of models of the RC- oscillator with three-tier phase-shifting circuit negative feedback and the Wine’s oscillator. An example of relaxation oscillator is the model of the multivibrator on the dynistors. At the heart of a computer model of the generator on the tunnel diode is the use of current-voltage characteristics of N-type containing a section with negative resistance. The material may be used in the process of teaching physics at advanced level in secondary schools and junior courses of higher educational institutions.

In this article an attempt is made to correlate an average number of thunderstorm days per annum with an average number of lightning discharges to the ground for each landscape. This is based on comparing visual lightning observations aver¬age multiannual values of thunderstorm activity and the data of a density of lightning discharges to the ground, obtained with a multistation system locating thunderbolts to the ground. The results can be use for estimation of dangerous from thunderstorm in regions without instrumental lightning observations

Filchenko Andrey Yuryevich Functional-Pragmatic Perspective on Clause Argument Case-Marking in Eastern Khanty. // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2006. Issue 4 (55). P. 140-147

The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. This is expressed by temporary promotion of the secondary topical referent to the Loc-marked S grammatical relation. N.V. Polyakova. Sociology of religion has been conceptually and theoretically isolated for a long time. The situation has changed at 70es with actualization of NRM theme. On the one hand, there were recruited new explanatory models from the adjoining sociological spheres – conflict theory, sociology of medicine, theory of the economic activity. On the other hand, academic community was polarized because of specific character of area of study on the strength of question about the religious phenomenon researcher’ professional ethics. The most part of the article is dedicated to the review of dominant interpretation systems in the sociology of religion. The key deduction of the article is a positioning of researcher’s state and potential level of the objectivity in religious studies as a central methodological issue in the sociology of religion.
