During the typological shift the former active case developed into the genitive, while the inactive case became the accusative. The purpose of the article is to define the reading strategy with the help of which the development of skills in foreign language reading on the basis of independent educational-cognitive activities of the the technical University students will be most effective. Therefore, it is proposed to classify reading strategies from the point of view of development of the relevant skills. The results of the study allow us to conclude, that teaching reading on the basis of independent educational-cognitive activity using reading strategies, determines the behavior in the learning process of both a teacher and a student: increases activity of a student, enhances educational, stimulating role of a teacher. Mastering the strategies has a significant influence on the formation of students’ abilities to independently acquire knowledge from different sources of information. The practical significance lies in the fact that the results can be used in teaching reading in different languages for teaching students of non-linguistic specialties. The classification of reading strategies will help the teacher in rational planning of the process of foreign language reading, organize learning strategies in the form of progression, according to the didactic principle of availability, move «from simple to complex», which contributes to the most efficient achieving the purpose of reading and learning a foreign language.

The article is connected with one of the main problems of methodology of forming intercultural competence in teaching Russian language to foreign students-philologists – working out principles of selecting teaching texts. With the help of the analysis of common factors, that affect functioning of all pedagogical systems, we have worked out and systematized 8 particular principles of selecting teaching texts for forming intercultural competence. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching goals into account” we have put forward the principles of the communicative, intercultural, educational, informative and the developing value of the text. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching conditions into account” we have worked out principle of “the correspondence of the text with the profile of higher education for foreign students”. Basing on the factor of “taking into account the characteristics of students” we have put forward principle of the correspondence of the text with the students’ language level and principle of taking the native culture of foreign students into consideration. In the article we also described 12 criteria, which allow implementing these principles in the process of selection of educational texts. According to the principles and the criteria, it was confirmed that, Russian texts for children’s reading, which are regarded as an important means of popular pedagogy, can be used as teaching material. The system of the principles and criteria is presented in the form of a table.

New ideas on wave neuronal processes and only two neuronal constants, H. Berger’s and M.N. Livanov’s ones, which were included into a dozen of simple algebraic equations, permit us to explain interrelationship of many known quantitative regularities in psychology. New equations, which were derived deductively from neurophysiological data, permit to explain quantitatively a lot of psychological phenomena in a broad range of conditions, particularly, the speed of gain of information and the dependence of short-term memory span on the alphabet span of stimuli. Besides it was shown in experiments with hundreds of subjects that individual parameters of electroencephalogram permit to compute individual peculiarities of human behavior, in partial to compute MMPI psychological profiles as well as to esteem intellectual abilities of human being. The method of forming creative groups to teach students the physics of the design scheme. The pedagogical experiment was conducted on the basis of the pendulum Ochs, consisting of bars on a horizontal surface, connected to a spring. The oscillations of the pendulum are characterized by a constant period, a linear decrease in amplitude, when for each half period of the amplitude is reduced by the same amount. The requirements of the problem is an example of educational organizations-term promotional activity for future engineers at the project level, as in practical classes, and in the interrelated tasks of physical design workshop.

The article is devoted to the questions of etymology of some ancient Mongol tribal names. By the complex investigation of the semantic complements of the mongol and buryat ethnonyms the conceptual picture of the nomadic world is revealed. In fact the conceptuality is transferred by the lexical items of samoyedish languages (for instance, selkup language), which is in conformity with samoyedish substrate in the system of geographical proper names of Transbaikalye.
