| 1057 | The article raises the issues of contemporary anthropology in the view of perspectives of Christian idea about a man as an image of God. These are the problems of correlation of natural unconsciousness and conscious comprehension in a human creature. And as a part, this is a question of the base of the mutual influence, the problems of a plurality and contradictions of modalities of consciousness. We put forward the question about possibilities of Christian discourse on a human nature and his capacities in the aspect of the perspectives in contemporary anthropology. In the issue the versions and the arguments of understanding the nature of a man as an image of God are analyses in a key of Christian doctrines. We propose as a methodological approach the idea about some modus, some planes of unified structure and nature of human consciousness. In these planes it performs as an Image and a reflection of the World (in the form of reason), an Image and comprehension of God (in the modus of existential self-renewal and mystic transgression), and an Image and a reception of a event and process of world-creation (in the modus of aesthetic perception and poetic creation) synchronically. Theoretical perspectives and implications of this approach are estimated both for philosophical anthropology, and for theological exegesis on conflict of primordial man, fallen man and salvaged man. | 1058 | The author of the paper collected information about 60 whetstones originating from monuments of Early Iron Age cultures in the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia. For the first time, based on the collected materials, a classification scheme of whetstones was developed on the basis of such attributes as shapes of face and back sides, section (only for Group 4), top and bottom designs of whetstones. Four groups with subgroups and variants were singled out. Whetstones from the Tomsk Ob Region and the Khakas-Minusinsk Basin stored in two museums (Museum of Siberian Archaeology and Ethnography, Tomsk State University, and the Seversk Museum) were introduced in this scheme. The occurrence of specific shapes of whetstones in archaeological cultures of the Southern Urals, Western Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Southern Siberia was analyzed. It was revealed that whetstones of Group 1 were most common. Trapezoidal and oval whetstones occur frequently as well. Rod-shaped whetstones are the least frequent. The latter ones, along with whetstones of the second subgroup of Group 1, have better shapes and are carefully polished. Some whetstones were examined using an electron microscope in order to ascertain whether they had been used as household articles and touchstones. The results of the examination were negative. In terms of purpose, whetstones originating from graves were most likely to be used as objects of worship / prestige value. | 1059 | The article is devoted to the explanation of the actuality and innovation of the issues of complex linguistic study of Laowai network jargon – the language of Russian expats in China Internet communication. On the background studies of the Russian language in Eastern countries and Russian-Chinese frontier, discusses the history of the issue. The author proves the uniqueness as compared to the historically previous and compared to other contemporary bilingual (e.g. English-Russian), the situation of interaction between Russian and Chinese cultures in the discourse of virtual Russian Diaspora. The expats have no plans for assimilation in new community and the situation of a balanced linguistic partnerships between typologically radically different languages with approximately equal reputational status determine the specifics and dynamics of the reception of the Chinese language and culture. Chinese ksenonims in laowai substandart have a dual functionality. On the one hand, they, being jargon lexical substrate, perform all inherent in the jargon vocabulary of functions: identification, password, evaluative, expressive, creative. On the other hand, being other cultures lexical substrate, they are the main guides to the world of language, which has secondary cultural orientation, language, turned into the area of foreign language culture. A comprehensive analysis of the language network communication of Russian expats in China has great potential from the perspective of Internet linguistics and discourse studies, contact and comparative linguistics, cultural linguistics and intercultural communication, studies of the Russian language abroad and jargon studies. | 1060 | The article deals with the analysis of Chinese proverbs and sayings found in the periodicals of the Russian Far East. Geopolitical location of the Russian Far East and recent growth of trans-border contacts with neighboring Asian countries make considerable influence on people’s minds and people’s perception of life. This makes the research timely and appropriate. Methodology of the research is based on the interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of ethnic proverbs and sayings which circulate in a different culture or a different language. The authors provide cross-cultural analysis of Chinese proverbs and the ways of their presentation in the Russian mass media. The pragmatics of citation of a Chinese proverb/saying in the Russian discourse proved to be determined by intelligibility of the proverb/saying to Russian readers. In some cases authentic ethnic imagery of the Chinese proverb/saying is pragmatically preserved. It makes reference to the wisdom of the Chinese ancient civilization more evident, and serves as an effective way of reasoning in a newspaper article. Special attention is drawn to cultural factors influencing the form and the semantics of Chinese proverbs in the Russian discourse. Parables and myths which stand behind almost all Chinese proverbs and sayings are lost in the Russian discourse, and Chinese proverbs are sometimes substituted with a Russian analogue. The authors of the article describe functions and pragmatics of Chinese proverb usage in a new cultural environment. In mass media of the Russian Far East Chinese proverbs realize a wide range of functions, among which the most relevant are informative, argumentative, phatic and appellative functions. Implementation of the above mentioned functions depends on cross-cultural pragmatics. | 1062 | The article based on the material of the German language deals with the meaning of the lexeme “Arbeit”. Material for the study was provided by various monolingual dictionaries of German. The problem of studying of the basic lexemes of the concept “Arbeit” was studied by the author during the dissertation research on the material of proverbs of unrelated languages. In this research a comprehensive study of the basic lexeme “Arbeit” was carried out within the framework of the description of the linguocultural concept “work”. The study was conducted in accordance with the meanings of the word “Arbeit” which are represented in the dictionary entries in the form of synonymic series for each component of the words under analysis. Certain symbols verbalize the meaning “work as a profession, position” are grouped thematically and marked by territorial identity. The derivational structure of these lexemes was determined as well as frequency of their manufacturing bases of the derivatives. The semantics of the components of compound words was analyzed. The author identifies the usage labels reflecting the connotative coloring of the lexemes verbalizing the meaning of the word “Arbeit”. For more results the analysis involves data from synonymous and etymological dictionaries. The results of the study can be used in practical classes, in the seminars in lexicology of the German language. | 1073 | Introduction. Nowadays linguists are increasingly interested in studying the terminology of professional sublanguages from the point of view of a cognitive approach. Cognitive frame modeling of terminology systems is becoming relevant being an effective way of representing the terminology of a special sublanguage. The aim of the work is to create and describe the cognitive frame model of the terminological system of the subject area “Building materials” in modern Russian. Material and methods. The material for the study is the terminological units of the subject area “Building materials”, selected from lexicographic sources on construction, regulatory documents, scientific papers, commercial catalogues of construction products, and professional internet websites about construction. The research methodology is based on general scientific and linguistic methods of descriptive and comparative research methods, including methods of linguistic modeling, framing, definitional, oppositional analysis as well as quantitative analysis. Results and discussion. The article identifies the main concepts of the frame approach to the study of terminology. The theoretical basis and interpretation of the concept of frame are presented, the frame structure used in this paper is developed. The work presents the frame model of the term system of the professional sphere “Building materials” in Russian. The paper defines the main subframes of this field: “Wood Materials”, “Ceramic Materials”, “Stone Materials”, “Glass Materials”, “Metal Materials”, “Cement”, “Concrete”, “Construction Mixes”, “Binders and Materials”, “Polymer Materials”, “Isolation Materials”, “Roofing Materials”, “Finishing Materials”. The analysis reveals the hierarchical frame structure, consisting of 13 subframes with their subsequent division into slots, micro-slots, and semantic groups. The study presents a detailed description of the subframe “Wood Materials” and the micro-slot “Composite Wood Materials” as well as semantic groups that are part of them. Various types of semantic relations between the terms representing the cognitive-frame model of the term system “Building materials” are revealed. Conclusion. The cognitive-frame model of the term system “Building materials” allows to present a hierarchically organized system of knowledge about a given subject area in a structured form and to identify system relations between the components of the term system. The presented fragment of the frame model illustrates the intra-system relations of the terms that verbalize it. The results obtained are of interest for terminology studies and can be used for educational and lexicographic purposes. In modern society where a special attention is paid to cosmetic beauty, the field of cosmetology producing and rending cosmetology services is flourishing. Cosmetology discourse is a type of professional communication connected with rending cosmetology services and creating (inventing), production (technology), advertising, protection, evaluation, marketing of cosmetology products. This discourse refers to hybrid, creolized discourse, using verbal, iconic and graphic codes. This article deals with French cosmetology discourse as one of the kinds of institutional discourse, which is a complexly organized and multi-component formation, the interaction of legislative (legal) discourse in the field of production, sale of cosmetics and rending cosmetology services, advertisement and cosmetology discourse, scientific and cosmetology discourse, academic cosmetology discourse, cosmetology media discourse, commercial discourse. The leading role belongs to the cosmetology discourse proper (esthetic medicine) in the sphere of professional communication. In its turn, each kind of the cosmetology discourse one can find polyphonic inclusions of the chemical (cosmetology), pharmaceutical, social, technical and other discourses. | 1097 | The article deals with the intonation of emphatic (highly emotional) speech of the modern Russian literary language with the purpose of revealing innovations in the intonation. The research is carried out on the performances staged in the State Academic Maly Theatre. We have analyzed 15 hours of sounding speech which allowed us to discover all the variety of the intonation patterns in the modern Russian language. As a result of the carried out research, we have revealed the following changes in the intonation of the modern Russian language: a great number of the occurrence of the mid-level ending in final sense-groups and the use of the high-narrow rise at the end of declarative and exclamatory sentences. We give a detailed consideration to the occurrence and meanings of these intonation endings combined with various scales. In addition to that, we first observe the use of the fall-rise in emphatic speech of the modern Russian language, as well as the use of the gradually ascending stepping scale, the descending scandent and sliding scales. Thus, the present research shows that the intonation of emphatic speech of the modern Russian language is much more colourful than it has been described before. The obtained results make a contribution to the suprasegmental phonetics and can be applied by the Russian teachers in practice, and they can also be of great use for foreign students learning the Russian intonation.
