Introduction. The paper deals with Language for Special Purposes Vocabulary Course Modern Teaching Methods. It limelights the integrative course with the multichannel teaching aids’ presentation and lines out its organization principles. This program is based on the auditive educational lectures’ course, built exclusively on the educational material of authentic lectures’ extracts. Lectures’ glossaries as a pattern for revising the main pronunciation difficulties at the same time introduce the discipline subject index. Totally it results in forming the compact multipurpose course, involving the spheres of Phonetics/Accentuation/Rhythmics/ in the aggregate with Lexicon/Grammar/Logic/Composing/Rhetoric/Sounding &Written text Analysis/Speech Development. As soon as each lecture’s task typology is vast and is reproduced repeatedly, students gain the possibility to see every object diversely in its totality and contradictions. The purpose of this article is not only to describe the integratively introduced knowledge, but to present a system of methods for working with knowledge in the flow of such educational course. Material and methods. The principle research method is the comparative analysis of hypothetical and real ways of uniting the different purposes and aims of the functional Russian as a Foreign Language course in a solid program. Results and discussion. It turned out that the purposes and aims of forming competences, being different in their nature, are compatible in the integral whole in the educational course. Such course can be based on listening as a type of speech activity. And it’s the diverse kinds of mental activity (extracting information from different non-homogenous sources, presented on different vehicles, phenomenae’ comparison, emphasizing the main item, making whole of an odd set, general and concrete problems’ formulating, enumerating the problem aspects) that forms a certain mentality type. And it is vital not only for those, specialized in “Philology: Linguistics: Literature Studies”. Conclusion. An integrative educational course is an integral system, simultaneously involving students in several kinds of mental and speech activity. We prove that gaining liking from others, friendship’s support, acquiring information, consolation and calming other people strategies, realized by the tactic of explication of doubt, are cooperative ones. Defamation and persuasion strategies, realized by this tactic, are non-cooperative ones, while speech tactic is one or some speech actions which help to implement a strategy.

Konovalenko Y.V. MENTAL SCRIPT OF ‘ARROGANCE’ IN RUSSIAN LINGUISTIC WORLD VIEW. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 4 (201). P. 7-13

The concept ‘Arrogance’ has a complex nature represented by script and image forms. In this article, I analyze the script component of the concept in the Russian language. I analyze the main components of the mental script of arrogant person’s behavior and attitude on the material taken from the National Corpus of the Russian Language. These elements include the agent, causes, action, aim, estimation and emotional components. I use corpus-based linguistics methods and model-based inquiry in my research. The agent is a person. The causes of arrogant attitude and behavior belong to two groups: a wish to oppose oneself to other people and a wish to isolate oneself from them. The more specific reasons for such opposition are ancestry, age, power, place of residence, nationality, wealth, position, knowledge and experience, membership in closed societies, spiritual development, and success. The reason of self-isolation from other people is a fear of possible psychological trauma, which people can cause. Verbs describing arrogant attitude or behavior can either have ‘arrogance’ component in their lexical meaning or be neutral. They characterize manner of speech, gestures, body language and arrogant person’s manner of looking at people. The aim of arrogant behavior is either opposing oneself to other people or selfisolation. The object of arrogant attitude is surrounding people. Estimation and emotional components are contradictory and depend on whether people understand the reason of arrogant attitude or behavior or not. Thus, the script of arrogant attitude and behavior has a double nature depending on the type of cause and aim, but the actions are the same in both cases. A person influences other people with the help of body language and manner of speech. People have a negative reaction to such behavior unless they understand the arrogant person’s fear of possible psychological trauma; in this case, the reaction can be sympathy or pity.

Wang H. LEXICAL AND WORLD-MODELING ACTIVITY OF SOMATISMS AND ANTHROPOMORPHISM OF LANGUAGE CATEGORIZATION IN THE PROVERB. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2021. Issue 3 (215). P. 69-75

Introduction. The article is devoted to the consideration of the lexical and world-modeling activity of units of the lexical-semantic group «Parts of the body» - somatisms, which is reflected in the texts of Russian folk proverbs. The peculiarities of the semantics and pragmatics of somatisms, which determine the specifics of their functioning in a folklore text, make it possible to define somatic vocabulary as markers of national identity. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to study the somatisms that function in the texts of Russian folk proverbs, in the aspect of their realization of their lexical and world-modeling potential. Material and methods. As the research material, the texts of Russian folk proverbs containing somatism lexemes are used. The principle of selection of empirical material is based on a continuous sample of the most frequently encountered somatic units from texts. The research methodology consists of methods of observation, quantitative analysis, lexical and semantic analysis, with the involvement of elements of discourse and conceptual analysis. Results and discussion. Somatisms, the meaning of which is based on the meanings of anthropomorphism, play a significant role in the formation of the idea of a person in the linguistic and conceptual picture of the world. The conceptual meaning of somatisms is manifested differently in different linguocultures. In the presence of undoubted universal, constant characteristics inherent in all ethnic groups, there is a presence of interpretations due to the specificity of a particular culture. This becomes obvious when comparing the cases of the functioning of somatisms in the texts of Russian and Chinese proverbs: the named linguocultures are extremely different in cultural and linguistic terms. It was revealed that the greatest lexical and world-modeling potential, judging by the texts of proverbs, in the Russian linguistic picture of the world is possessed by the somatisms head, hand, and eyes. Each somatic lexeme has a specific conceptual meaning, an important component of which is the axiological component “value”. So, somatism, the head is interpreted as «the value of the intellect», the hand is the «value of vital activity», the eyes are the «value of personal participation.» In fewer proverbs, there are somatisms hair, legs, mouth, tongue, nose. In this list, interpretations such as legs, symbolizing the «value of mobility,» and hair, a marker of the anti-value of «external» as opposed to the value of «internal», are primarily evident. Conclusion. The study of somatisms in the aspect of considering their lexical and world-modeling activity, manifested in folklore texts (in this case, in proverbs), makes it possible to form an idea of fragments of the linguistic and conceptual picture of the world of an ethnic group.
