Melik-Gaykazyan I.V., Melik-Gaykazyan M.V. “SEMIOTIC ATTRACTOR”: CONCEPT FOR SOLVING DILEMMA OF INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 5 (158). P. 147-153

Two tasks of innovation management require its methodological solution. Those tasks are effective selection of asymptotical target and management of generation of unexampled innovations. Methodological strategies of solving these tasks can be put as dilemma. Constructive solution of this dilemma is based at “Semiotic Attractor” conception. The concept became a synthesis of the philosophy of process, results of methodological research related to information phenomenon as a process and results of fundamental research of non-linear dynamics and semiotics. The concept expresses conditions of organization of states meeting nature of managed system's attractors. This “Semiotic Attractor” is realized as an occasion – occasion of random selection and occasion of unexampled innovation's generation. Organization of conditions leading to occurrence of similar occasions is relevant to solution of innovations management tasks. Solution was obtained on basis of four interdependent conditions: 1) innovations management is management of targets; 2) phase states of targeted situations set by semiotic means exclusively; 3) information mechanisms of self-organization require intermediary situation to be formed which should be dependent on asymptotical target; 4) verbalization of asymptotical target should represent current intermediate situation. The latter does not mean concealment of final targets but meet requirement for future should be open for the future innovations. Selection of final target is a choice between aspirations of altruism, perfectionism, hedonism or utilitarianism.

Keywords: “semiotic attractor”, “revolution in symbolism”, nonlinear dynamics, occasion, characteristics of information, model of semiotic dynamics

Zelichenko V.M., Larionov V.V., Pak V.V. PROJECT POTENTIAL OF LEARNING TASKS IN PHYSICS AND ITS DIAGNOSTICS ON THE EXAMPLE OF TASKS FROM SECTION „ELECTROSTATICS“ // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 4 (181). P. 64-70

Wide application of project method in teaching of physics shows the potential of this method for engineering education in modern conditions of training of specialists able to adapt to modern conditions of production. The studies of many authors confirm the need for the formation of the generalized design skills for teaching physics at the technical University throughout the study at the University, including classes in physics. In our previous studies were introduced the notions of learning tasks in physics and generalized design skills and proved their compliance with the stages of the training project activities, represented the design skills formed on these stages corresponding to the phases of professional design activities of engineer. As a means of forming generalized design skills, we propose to use learning tasks in practical classes in physics. This article presents one way of forming common design skills, criteria for the selection of learning tasks in physics with the aim of forming common design skills, introduced the concept of the design potential of learning physical tasks. The authors show the method of formation of the generalized design skills and the step by step algorithm of actions of the teacher to organize the educational process to create and implement projects based on learning tasks in physics.

Yakovleva A.G. ORGANIZATION OF BLENDED LEARNING IN TEACHING OF PEDAGOGICAL DISCIPLINES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 4 (181). P. 96-99

The article actualizes the problem of using new educational technologies in the process of higher education. Blended learning is shown as one of the mechanisms for the transition from the traditional model of providing training to the new model of “around the learner”, when the positions of the teacher and the student are changed. According to the author’s opinion, the model of blended learning in pedagogical higher school provides the necessary conditions for the student’s personal development as the subject of self-activity and prepares him for the implementation of this teaching model in the educational organization. The article presents the experience of using rotary technology of blended learning “Flipped classroom” in the teaching of pedagogical disciplines. Before coming to a flipped class students study theoretical material and prepare for seminars. Classroom work is devoted to the practical aspects of the theme – solving pedagogical tasks, analyzing educational practices, constructive elements of the educational complex and other kinds of work. After classroom work students independently summarize and systematize the teaching material by performing creative tasks of varying complexity. Interview of 120 respondents – students of five departments of Tomsk State Pedagogical University – allows to establish a holistic adoption of this model by students studying the organization of the course of pedagogy and the positive direction for the development of blended learning as an innovative teaching technology.

Pozdeeva S.I. TO THE PROBLEM OF USING PROJECT AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN KINDERGARTEN // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 8 (185). P. 42-45

The paper is dedicated to the problem of organization project and research activities in kindergarten in the context of realizing The Federal Educational Standard for Preschool Education. The goal of this research is to analyze differ ences between these activities and highlight their educational resources. The examples of incorrect organization of project and research activities in kindergarten are given. The author analyzes two articles from the magazine “Kindergarten: theory and practice” and proves that kindergarten teachers and parents often formalize children’s activities, perform the most part of the work themselves, restricting the cognitive activity of a child. The author offers a number of recommendations for preschool children’s parents about what can and can not be done at home in joint projects. Lack of understanding by teachers of the differences between project and research leads to inadequate choice of tools and methods and in addition to decreasing of educational resources in cognitive and practical activities. It is important to take into account that the project activity is an integrative activity, in which the playful, artistic, communicative and practical activities are connected. Finally, the author clarifies the thesis of teacher (parent)-child and child-child collaboration as the basic of project and research activities in the modern kindergarten.

Sharyshova N.V. ON IDENTIFICATION OF CONCEPTUAL METAPHORS IN POETIC DISCOURSE AND CONTEXTUAL DEPENDENCY OF THEIR INTERPRETATION (BASED ON THE ANALYSIS OF SYLVIA PLATH’S POETRY) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 4 (193). P. 159-163

This article considers the cognitive approach to the study of metaphors in poetic discourse, which plays a dominant role in contemporary linguistics. The task of this study is to reveal the influence of the context on the choice of metaphors in poetic texts, to describe the types of contexts and to prove the necessity of contextual analysis in the study of poetic discourse. The article describes the method of getting from linguistic metaphorical expressions to the conceptual metaphor in five steps proposed by Gerard Steen. This method suggests using contextual as well as cotextual information to fill in the gaps in comparative structures of source and target domains. The results of the research show that poetic metaphors are created by means of elaboration, extension and questioning of universal conventional models stored in long-term memory or with the help of combinations of those conventional conceptual metaphors. The interpretational potential of conceptual metaphors depends on the external context, as well as on elements within author’s discursive space. We came to a conclusion that cognitive operations involved into the production of metaphors depend on physical, social and cultural situations. The findings of this research also confirm the hypothesis by Z. Kövecses that the system of conceptual metaphors forms a specific type of context, that is a conceptual-cognitive one.

Skripko Z.A. The place and role of laboratory activities during knowledge of a surrounding world // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2002. Issue 2 (30). P. 77-81

The writers demonstrate an urgency of laboratory activities for teaching the integrated course «Natural sciences». The important functions of laboratory activities are that they can be used as a means of train¬ing and as a means and method of knowledge of a surrounding world. During the fulfillment of laboratory activities the integrated knowledge of the nature, synthetic submission, the knowledge about the laws and reciprocal relationships existing in a surrounding world is reshaped. Such knowledge gets reshaped while teaching the integrated natural science courses. The laboratory activities for such courses differ as they are complex (integrated), that is demonstrating an investigated phenomenon or process from different aspects -physical, chemical, biological. The outcomes of testing, demonstrating the necessity of usage of laboratory activities, distinguishing the contents and methods of fulfillment, forms of organization and so on are adduced.

Sapukh T.V. “EDUTAINMENT” TECHNOLOGY IN THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2016. Issue 8 (173). P. 30-34

The term “edutainment” is formed from two English words: “entertainment” and “education” and combines entertainment and learning. We understand edutainment as a special education technology, viewed as a complex of modern technical and didactic means of teaching, based on the concept of learning through entertainment. The main difference between edutainment and the modern paradigm of learning is that the subject is actively involved in the educational process. As a result of interaction between an informative and entertaining object and active in learning subject we obtain knowledge, abilities, skills, individual experience, subjective emotions. Edutainment technology tasks have to meet three pedagogical principles: the principle of theory with practice linking, the principle of consistency and the principle of accessibility. Edutainment technology has great potential in the organization of the learning process at the University. It is necessary to maintain a reasonable balance between education and entertainment. Tasks created to promote the interest, need to be balanced with activities to improve intelligence.

Different approaches of foreign linguists to the description of the illoсutionary purpose in interjection’s utterances are analyzed. The ideas of Anna Wierzbicka about the absence of illocutionary purpose in this type of utterances as consequence of their spontaneity was criticized by D. Wilkins and T. Wharton. These researchers adduce arguments in favor of illocution’s presence in interjections and argue that the extent of illocution varies from interjection to interjection, depending on the degree of it’s linguistics or paralinguistics. On the basis of discursive analyses data I argue that above-mentioned regularity contradicts the obvious language facts. The first fact is that the same interjection can be used in various types of speech acts, and another one is that the subclass of volitive interjections has an evident illocutionary purpose in spite of its strong extent of paralinguistics. In this paper I propose new solution to the interpretation of interjections within the speech acts theory, which is based on the understanding that non-controversial description of interjections can be achieved on the base of recognition of their interactional character. An interactional character is understood in this case as subject-subject or object-subject forms of speech behavior which take place at the moment of interjections uttering. Such approach allows to overcome the restrictions of numeral interpretative theories which are relevant only for prototypical emotive interjections. The understanding of interactional nature of interjections speech acts allows us to elaborate the theory that can be used as theoretical basis for all subclasses of interjections. Under this approach all types of interjections could be qualified as behabitives that had been characterized by J. Searle as reactions to behavior of other people. Within the offered classification there is a need of a reinterpretation of the term “behabitives”. This category has to be expanded from traditional etiquette speech acts to all types of utterances containing emotive and volitive interjections.

Funtova I.L. INNOVATIONS IN THE INTONATION OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN LITERARY LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 17-24

The article deals with the intonation of emphatic (highly emotional) speech of the modern Russian literary language with the purpose of revealing innovations in the intonation. The research is carried out on the performances staged in the State Academic Maly Theatre. We have analyzed 15 hours of sounding speech which allowed us to discover all the variety of the intonation patterns in the modern Russian language. As a result of the carried out research, we have revealed the following changes in the intonation of the modern Russian language: a great number of the occurrence of the mid-level ending in final sense-groups and the use of the high-narrow rise at the end of declarative and exclamatory sentences. We give a detailed consideration to the occurrence and meanings of these intonation endings combined with various scales. In addition to that, we first observe the use of the fall-rise in emphatic speech of the modern Russian language, as well as the use of the gradually ascending stepping scale, the descending scandent and sliding scales. Thus, the present research shows that the intonation of emphatic speech of the modern Russian language is much more colourful than it has been described before. The obtained results make a contribution to the suprasegmental phonetics and can be applied by the Russian teachers in practice, and they can also be of great use for foreign students learning the Russian intonation.

Bagiyan A.Y., Monogarova A.G. LINGUISTIC-AXIOLOGICAL MANIPULATION AS AN ELEMENT OF TEACHER PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY FORMATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 1 (219). P. 43-53

Introduction. Professional identity formation of the future specialist is one of the most relevant topics of the whole range of humanitarian studies. However, to date, there is a limited number of works that directly provide theoretically sound practical recommendations on the features of shaping professional identity. We believe that this process should be accompanied by serious linguistic studies, especially when it comes to the formation of a foreign-language professional identity of a teacher of foreign languages and cultures. Aim and objectives. The purpose of the work is to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the modern pedagogical discursive space and, subsequently, to identify the correlation dependence of linguistic-axiological manipulation and the process of forming the foreign-language professional identity of the future teacher. The main tasks of the study are forming the texts corpus; carrying out of pragmatic and content analysis of selected texts; identifying discursive and axiological components of fragments of pedagogical discourse to adequately construct the axiological sphere of discourse; determining the level of manipulative impact on the addressee by updating the identified elements of the axiological sphere of the studied discursive space; synthesizing the obtained data and determining the features of selfidentification of the teacher’s personality when they perceive value-loaded texts through the corresponding suggestive effect. Material and methods. The study was based on 15 written texts of pedagogical discourse compiled by professionals for English teachers and belonging to a specific structural part of the book – “Introduction”. A comprehensive method of data analysis is used, combining the method of discourse analysis, the method of conceptual analysis, the method of pragmalinguistic analysis, as well as the method of quantitative processing of the obtained data. Results and discussion. In connection with the multidimensional nature of the study, a detailed literary review is given, including the analysis of the topics of the teacher’s professional identity, the linguistic-axiological factor of the identity formation and the linguistic content of productive speech manipulation. A comprehensive pragma-axiological study revealed 5 basic axiological concepts that form the axiological conceptual sphere of the educational discourse under study: DEVELOPMENT, ENJOYMENT, NOVELTY, EFFECTIVENESS, READINESS, verbalization of each of which is a way of productive manipulation of the potential addressee’s consciousness. Manipulation is carried out at the expense of a certain functional range of lexical units-verbalizers of these concepts. The obtained results make it possible to build the axiological conceptual sphere of the considered pedagogical discursive space, as well as to identify the correlation dependence of the functional range of pragma-axiologically charged lexical units-verbalizers with manipulative effect on a potential addressee. Conclusion. Also, for further study of the presented topics, the hypothesis of cultural manipulation is put forward, according to which the axiological pedagogical guidelines available in the Anglo-Saxon tradition determine the model of behavior of teachers belonging to other cultural and ethnic substrates, but studying according to their methodology.

Bolotnova N.S. STUDY OF MEDIA DISCOURSE OF PUBLIC LANGUAGE PERSONALITY’S INFLUENCE ON COLLECTIVE ADDRESSEE (ON THE EXPERIMENT DATA) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 32-40

The article deals with the topical problem of influence of media texts of public informational and media language personality on mass addressee subject to pragmatically significant factors of text organization: the author, the topic, the title, the emotional tone, the usage of linguistic and non-linguistic means. The study was carried out on the basis of experiments using a scaling technique with the involvement of a focus group of informants-humanitarians aged from 20 to 50 years. The research material is the posts of different subjects in L. Ulitskaya’s blog and the texts of newspaper article and fragments of M. Veller’s program “Just think!” on the radio “Echo of Moscow”. The initial idea was that the text and its structure reflect the peculiarities of the author’s language personality, and informants’ reception and detection of invariant of data, which we obtained on the basis of the survey, allow to reveal regularities in mechanism of influence of the texts and their elements on the reader’s cognitive activity. It was determined that estimation by collective addressee of variety of speech behavior of public language personality in different genres of media discourse depends on clarity, intelligibility, perspicuity, logicality of information, topical character of subject, emotion and usage of language means of different styles. Substandard vocabulary, which is used in media texts of topical subjects, doesn’t rise to rejection if addressee feels the same emotion, but on the contrary enlarges the pragmatics of speech messages. Excessive subjective modality of public language personality in covering different social themes does not always correspond to a collective addressee, who is focused on stereotypes and restraint in relation to the utterance. The influence of media text depends to a large degree on the informational field of the author’s language personality and his emotion, though the subject of speech messages and the choice of certain genres by the public language personality are of great importance too.

Stepanova E.S. LINGUOCOGNITIVE PECULIARITIES OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND POPULAR MEDICAL DISCOURSE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 4 (201). P. 95-101

The aim of the research is the description of the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse, which is represented by phenomenological cognitive structures and linguistic cognitive structures. It provides the differentiation of the notions “scientific medical discourse” and “scientific and popular medical discourse”. The scientific and popular medical discourse is one of the types of the scientific discourse. Material and methods. The methodology of the research is based on the cognitive approach to the phenomenon, its actualization in the discourse proposed by Victoria V. Krasnykh. She states that knowledge and representations are preserved in cognitive structures. The research methods are cultural analysis and descriptive-analytical contextual method. Results and discussion. The results of the research show linguistic means that represent phenomenological cognitive structures that are typical for the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse. The theoretical significance of the research lies in the fact that results of the research contribute to cognitive linguistics on the questions concerning the study of the scientific and popular medical discourse. The results expand the basis of study of semantics of the scientific and popular medical discourse, means of realization of phenomenological cognitive structures. The suggested typology can be used for the analysis of other types of discourse. The practical significance lies in the fact that the typology of phenomenological cognitive structures characterizes the cognitive and discursive space of the scientific and popular medical discourse. The author of the scientific and popular medical discourse uses linguistic means taking into consideration linguocultural experience of a linguistic personality. It helps to view the ordinary phenomenon from the unusual perspective. Category of uncertainty, expressed in any language, is implemented by various means. Some languages have special means, while others use informal indicators. The Russian language belongs to the languages having no article, and consequently, the absence of morphological indicators of this category in the Russian language makes it difficult for native speakers of the Persian language learners of Russian. As a result, there are considerable difficulties in understanding the meaning of certainty and uncertainty in Russian. This necessitates a comparative analysis of the means and ways of expressing the category of uncertainty in the Russian and Persian languages.
