| 5252 | The article presents Tatiana Meiko’s (Tomsk) appeal to the genre of prosaic short stories in the context of children’s literature formation traditions and development trends. At the turn of the XX–XXI centuries many children’s writers develop such genre types as nature, autobiographic short stories, mini tales (fairy, about animals), anecdotes / humorous short stories, horror stories, etc. It is more rarely when writers create short stories in the tideway of paroemia and philosophic-lyrical story traditions. Such writings including T. Meiko’s short fairy tales present the phenomenon of “common” (I. Arzamastseva) literature, which appeals both to children and adults. | 5254 | Introduction. In rapid computerization and mathematization of almost all areas of knowledge the mathematical training of students at a higher education institution must be of an anticipatory nature and be aimed at obtaining results that will be in demand in a technologized society. Modern society requires the individual skills of self-organization, self-development, self-regulation, self-control, self-education, etc. These tasks can be successfully solved in the process of mathematical training of students with the competent organization of the educational process. Material and methods. The basis for the substantiation and implementation of the principle of refocusing the mathematical training process of the university students from “teaching maths” to “teaching by maths” was based on the methods of theoretical and empirical research. Results and discussion. The main tasks of high-quality mathematical education of students, which a modern university is facing today, are considered. Mathematics is characterized as a science and a body of knowledge; a language of research and modeling for solving problems in various fields of knowledge; a system of organization of thinking. The object, subject, methods and properties of mathematics are highlighted. The fundamental functions of students’ mathematical training are revealed: teaching mathematics – involving mastering the system of mathematical knowledge and skills, the formation of mathematical competence; teaching by mathematics – aimed at the intellectual development of students, formation of logical thinking, development of mathematical literacy, etc. The implementation of the principle “learning by mathematics” in the electronic educational environment is characterized through the integration of the content of mathematical courses with specialized disciplines; the choice of the type and method of presentation of educational material not only for carrying out calculations, but for visualizing abstract mathematical concepts and knowledge; differentiation and personification of teaching mathematics through the using non-linear methods and various types of presentation depending on the psycho-physiological characteristics, cognitive styles of students, professional area, including taking into account health features (persons with disabilities). Conclusion. The results of the study showed that refocusing the mathematical training process of the university students from “teaching maths” to “teaching by maths” through the organization of training within electronic educational environment allows students to assimilate the system of mathematical knowledge and skills, actively apply the methods of mathematical research; quickly adapt to the changing conditions of modern society and production, acquiring the necessary competencies for professional activities in the process of solving various applied problems. | 5255 | Introduction. The problem of designing educational clusters of an educational type that use the values of traditional culture and pedagogy in their activities is an important part of the humanitarian and value-based cultural approach in the modern educational process. The Institute of Public Education via a network event based on network interaction as a cluster educational system can be an innovative technology that develops new network conditions for the formation of a value-based model of a student’s personality. The objective is to develop approaches to the development of an educational cluster of a value-based type in the conditions of the interaction of general and additional education using the basic standard FSES-2 based on our own experience, as well as modern scientific views on the structure, methodology and organizational conditions for the development of educational clusters. Material and methods. Cluster-type network interaction is structurally a system and as a system assumes mandatory qualities, such as responsiveness, mobility, adaptability, complementarity, etc. This leads to the use of the methodology of the system approach and the system analysis of network phenomena and processes when modeling an educational type cluster. The results of the study. Based on the use of the methodology of system analysis of social and cultural phenomena and processes taking place in partner institutions, as well as modern approaches to the development of the educational network such as: resource, target, person-centered in the cultural and axiological context, we get a model of personality development based on the formation of value orientations of schoolchildren. The construction of an educational space of a pedagogical cluster of an educational type constitutes the conditions of this modelling. Conclusion. The concept of spiritual and moral development and education of a Russian citizen’s personality assumes that the basic standard is implemented both through the educational space of a general education school and the educational space of an institution of additional education for children, which can be implemented through a variety of additional educational programs and subprograms in network interaction. Each educational program (subprogram) is carried out in the following five directions: school classroom activities; extracurricular activities (cultural practices); social practices; education based on family traditions; introduction to the fundamentals of traditional Russian religions. All this can be implemented through a network educational event, since in network interaction a network event is one of the conditions for its development, in our case a network event associated with folk culture – the recreation and holding of a folk holiday. Such a network event can be modeled, it is organically included in the educational system of our network model. | 5264 | The existence of K-instantons on a cylinder M7 = Rт x K/H over a homogeneous nearly Kahler 6-manifold K/H requires a conformally parallel or a cocalibrated G2-structure on M7. The generalized anti-self-duality onM7 implies a Chern-Simons ow on K/H which runs between instantons on the coset. For K-equivariant connections, the torsionful Yang-Mills equation reduces to a particular quartic dynamics for a Newtonian particle on C. We obtain kink- or bounce-type solutions for generic values of the torsion. When the latter corresponds to the conformally parallel or cocalibrated G2-structure on M7, the dynamics follows from a gradient or hamiltonian ow, respectively, and we encounter Yang-Mills instantons. | 5267 | The year of 2019 is the anniversary of two writers of different eras – A. S. Pushkin (1799–1837) and V. V. Nabokov (1899–1977). This study did not initially include the goal of identifying the “bringing together “of two writers, but an analysis of the wind motive led to results that broadened the ideas about the creative dialogue between Nabokov and Pushkin already established in literature. The aim of the work is to analyse the wind / storm motive in V. Nabokov’s novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair) in relation to cultural tradition. Material and methods. Motive and intertextual analysis based on the work of B. Gasparov, I. Silantyev. For understanding of the functionality and archetypical semantics of the wind / storm motive, the studies of K. Nagina and E. Nikanorova are significant; among the research work on Nabokov, the baseline for this study is, firstly, the article by A. Dolinina, who described the principles of using V. Nabokov to use Pushkin’s intertext in the novel “Otchayaniye” (Despair). Results and discussion. When analyzing “Otchayaniye” (Despair), it was considered that the narrative motive is often implemented in conjunction with an anonymous motive, therefore the focus of research attention was not only the wind motive / storm motive, but also windcalm. It was revealed that the wind motive in the novel is polysemantic and “works” to reveal the main themes and problems in the novel, “involved” in the design of the author’s concept of the work. It is associated primarily with moral and ethical issues: the definition of boundaries and the essence of free will, crime and punishment. It was found that the motive functionally considered in the novel correlates with the archetypal image of the storm, which traditionally embodies above the personal will and trial, the condition of passage of which is the strength of the moral basis of the individual. For the immoral character, who is the central hero of the novel, Herman (a murderer who is not experiencing remorse and torment of conscience), the wind turned into a storm, carries the semantics of punishment (“frightening” wind, “murderous drafts”). The study revealed the use of Nabokov’s method of increasing gradation in the design of the wind motive, which accompanies Hermann’s doubts and moral throwing, turning into a storm at the moment of final despair. Stillness arises at the climax points of the plot (the murder of an imaginary double and Herman reading his own, which must justify, but expose his mediocrity, “story”). If Herman interprets windcalm as the indifference of being to human life, as the absence of God, then at the author’s level “silence of being” emphasizes Nabokov’s idea of free will: nature does not give signs and does not interfere with a person’s moral choice. The analysis of the wind motive made it possible to reveal, the Pushkin’s fairy tale “Skazka o Rybake i Rybke” / About the Fisherman and the Fish as a significant intertext of the novel; the final “Otchayaniye” (Despair) correlates with the outcome of the tale: the character who wished to become a “despot” not only of his own being, but also of the lives of others (to take the place of God), remained “by the broken washtub”. Conclusion. This study made it possible to expand the understanding of the intertextual connections of the novel by V. Nabokov, to clarify the author’s concept of crime and punishment. | 5268 | Introduction. The coverage of the women’s issue was one of the predominant themes in the works of famous English writers of the XIXth century and gave the key to understanding the place of a woman in the society and her role in the development of the social progress. In this context, an appeal to the fiction of B. Disraeli (1804–1881) is relevant. The objectification of female images in his novel ‘Henrietta Temple: a Love Story’ (1837) is illustrative in terms of evolution of the woman role and her life attitudes. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is the study of the translation peculiarities of the novel’s key female characters taking into account the current trends in the literary and social processes of Russia in the 1850s – 1860s. Material and methods. The research material included the original text of ‘Henrietta Temple: a love story’, as well as its anonymous translations published by ‘Library for Reading’ [Biblioteka dlya Chteniya] in 1859 and ‘Translations of individual novels’ [Perevody Otdel’nyh Romanov] in 1867. Historical literary, comparative, typological, and structural methods were used in the research. To identify the peculiarities of the main female images interpretation, an analysis of the original text and its translations was carried out using a methodology including five main image parameters, such as character introduction, verbal portrait, speech characteristics, description of actions and author’s attitude. Results and discussion. First acquaintance of the Russian reader with the fiction by B. Disraeli began with the translation of the novel ‘Henrietta Temple: a Love Story’ 1859. The novel of the English writer was consonant with the general trends in Russian literature of the mid-19th century and was twice anonymously translated. Each of the translations reflected not only the basic principles of literary translation, but also the position taken by the translator in relation to the issue of the role of women and their rights in Russian society. In this aspect, the interpretation of the key female characters of B. Disraeli’s novel is of interest. At the center of the narrative there are female characters involved in a love triangle: Henrietta Temple and Catherine Grandison, as well as the image of the main character mother, Constance Armine. Conclusion. The analysis demonstrates that not all the parameters of the Disraeli’s female images are reflected in Russian translations. The peculiarity of the version published in the ‘Library for Reading’ [Biblioteka dlya Chteniya] in 1859 was that the translator significantly reduced and simplified the original text of the novel due to the journal policy and translation norms, which led to simplification of new woman images, in particular Henrietta. The author of the translation published in 1867 managed to better reproduce five main parameters of the female images and recreate a new ideal of a woman capable of defending her interests and realizing herself. In relation to our research the concept ‘academic medical discourse’ consists in the following: this type of discourse is scientific communication the aim of which is the concept of detailed transfer of information steps (on the corresponding subject: diagnostics, treatment and recommendation) which needs to be reported, analyzed and discussed for acceptance of the main results. Some examples from the texts of academic medical discourse containing the phraseological units representing opposition ‘good –evil’ have been shown. In this paper research is conducted on the material of contexts of the journal of the American medical association and medical journal of New England. As a result, the concept ‘academic medical discourse’ is considered as scientific communication the aim of which is the concept of detailed transfer of information steps on estimated strategy of diagnostics, treatments and recommendations (see: strategy of all dangers, services of a hospice, correlation of the bill, “grapevine”), exposed to discussion for acceptance of the main results. The analysis of the examples from the texts of academic medical discourse contains phraseological units representing opposition ‘good –evil’. | 5287 | The aim of this work is to discuss some specifics of translating Czech children poetry to the Russian language. For the analysis were chosen the poem called “První pohádka (Princeznička na bále)” (The First Fairy Tale; Princess at the Ball), written by well-known Czech poet Frantisek Hrubin, and its translation “Принцесса кораллы свои потеряла” (The Princess Who Lost Her Beads) by Mikhail Landman. The analysis exposed the specifics of the translation such as: more phraseological and idiomatic expressions than in the original poem and more developed and concrete description of the places and characters. More specific descriptions of the places could lead to activation of imagination in child mind. The increase of phraseological and idiomatic expressions is justified by the adaptation of the Czech poem into the structure of traditional Russian national literature. The name of the Czech protagonist “Honzik” corresponding to the Russian Ivanushka-Durachok and the basic ironic modality of the poem were not altered in the translation. The translator may have left the original names for one of two reasons: either to avoid the necessity of changing the names of other characters, leading to a monolingual structure of the translation, or to create an opportunity for the Czech names to obtain new associations of their own in the Russian language. The ironic undertone of the poem’s finale is kept in the translation but it is presented by different means.
