| 1253 | The article is devoted to the analysis of Biographical essays, presented in the Book of memory of students, teachers and employees of Tomsk State Pedagogical University-participants of the great patriotic war (1941–1945). Containing the first volume of 450 historical biographies constitute a significant database to store personal information, and for the reconstruction of the social group of students of the Siberian Pedagogical University. Students TGPI in 1930–1950 (on the example of the great patriotic war) was a social group characterized by the following features: 1) proportion of natives of the European part of the USSR, with the predominance of the Siberian contingent; 2) great predominance of peasant component in the social structure of students; 3) in the national composition of the student body was dominated by the Russians; 4) average age of students for admission to the University was 24 years; 5) 40% of the students have teaching experience; 6) mixed structure of preliminary education; 7) proportion of invalids of the great patriotic war; 8) influence of psychological factors on learning motivation. Memory book as a database has a large research capacity for reconstruction of individual, group, institution of higher learning, the Russian system of education, the history of intellectuals. The Institute of foster parenting needs to be explored from the perspective of interdisciplinary approach. | 1270 | The relevance of studying the translation heritage of N. M. Karamzin consists in his inseparability from the whole work of the great figure of Russian culture. The task of the proposed article is an attempt to generalize the presentation of all translations of Karamzin as a cultural cosmos, which contains dozens of authors, countries and the main continents. He was engaged in translation for over twenty years (he translated about 300 texts), constantly referring not only to European literature, but also to Asian, African and American cultures. The «world-wide responsiveness» of Karamzin as a writer and an interpreter was formed already in the «Moscow Journal» (1791-1792), the edition of a new type taking into consideration the experience of European periodicals. To carry out the novelty Karamzin used the translations thoroughly picked up and correlating with the original pieces. Thanks to the ambivalent role of a writer and a translator Karamzin was able to create an author journal aimed at the maintaining sentimentalism. In the «Messenger of Europe» (1802–1803) by N. M. Karamzin the translations helped to form not only a literary part, but also a section of Politics. Long before the genesis of the concept of «globalism», Karamzin had made an attempt to perceive the world in its unity. He was encouraged by his trip to Europe, personal acquaintance and contacts with the eminent representatives of European culture as well as by his intense translation activity. | 1271 | The article discusses pragmalinguistic peculiarities of interrogatives. These characteristics are analyzed at comparing interrogatives to other speech acts. Interrogatives as speech acts have an illocutionary force and a perlocutionary effect similar to those of directive speech acts. The illocutionary force of interrogatives is connected with communicative manipulation when asking for or checking information by referring to another person. The perlocutionary effect of interrogatives is either this person agrees or does not agree to share information. Directive speech acts are also connected with communicative manipulation and the perlocutionary effect of directive speech acts is either the other person agrees or does not agree to fulfill the action. However, interrogatives differ from other speech acts (directive speech acts including) by their locutionary and propositional characteristics. Interrogatives are constructed in a special way and do not contain reference to the answer. At least these locutionary and propositional characteristics of interrogatives makes it possible to consider interrogatives as a separate group of speech acts. Analysis of interrogative speech acts in contemporary American films show that 70 % of interrogatives are used as direct speech acts, i.e. to ask for information or to check information. One fourth of interrogatives contains second illocutions, in most cases these are reproach, indignation and pleading. Interrogatives as indirect speech acts are used in 20 % of utterances mainly to express suggestions. Rhetorical (false) questions are used only in 10 % of interrogative utterances. | 1287 | The article deals with the problem of reconstructing the reception of fairy tales by Brothers Grimm, E.T.A. Hoffmann and W. Hauff in the Russian literature of the 19th–20th c. The research is concentrated on literary and translation aspects as well as on ‘secondary’ texts, remakes. The choice of the authors is determined by their role in the formation of German tales comprehension outside Germany, particularly, in Russia. The research is based on 58 translations of 5 tales by Hauff, 38 translations of 4 tales by Brothers Grimm, 38 translations of 4 tales by Hoffmann. Preliminary results show that there is a great number of genre varieties of translation: from translation proper to liberal translation, retelling, literary adaptation and remake. A vast majority of Russian authors were either influenced by Brothers Grimm’s, Hoffman’s and Hauff’s tales or used German images and motifs. That is to say, the language of media obtained the leading position amongst other language variations. The language of media is becoming a model language of the society and reflecting the current language practice. The media language represents the city linguistic norms and is focused on modernization (literary linguistic norms, in particular). This article is to set the hypotheses that there are two main form of the national modern literary language, existing in the modern information society. They are: 1) the elite literary language; 2) the mass literary language (and its implementation in the media as an option, which we mean “media language”). In mass-media communication, focused on mass media mind, literary standards are on the periphery of media content. Standard standards are superseded by norms of media communication, which draw their resources from the mass language of the whole society and themselves form this mass language. The present hypothesis is based on three fundamental principles: 1) the change of social status of modern media; 2) the definition of mass media language as common national language; 3) the concept of mediatization, which we develop in correlation to mass media language.
