| 1352 | The article is devoted to the analysis of methodical potential of the use of an axiological perspective of F. M. Dostoyevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment” in the spiritual and moral education of modern schoolchildren. The solution of this methodical problem requires integrated approach and the appeal to the findings of psychology, pedagogy and philosophy. As the representative material illustrating theoretical understanding of the problem of responsibility as a significant aspect of spiritual and moral education in modern educational space serves the analysis of images of the novel’s heroes-ideologists – Rodion Raskolnikov and Sonya Marmeladova, showing different world outlook and behavioural strategy of implementation of responsibility as the axiological base of the personality. The problem of responsibility is one of the most urgent for discussion of the novel “Crime and Punishment” at the lessons of literature, accomplishment of research and project work in extracurricular activities as, on the one hand, it corresponds to the age features of seniors, and on the other hand, is rather representative for this novel of the writer. The value-oriented approach to studying of the perspective of the novel allows to develop one’s own world outlook and to realize it further in forming of a vector of life with orientation to supermotivations. Educational potential of studying creative work of Dostoyevsky can be widely used in the educational process when studying other humanitarian disciplines (Russian, history, social science) and to promote implementation of priorities of national educational policy. | 1353 | Based on archival materials the process of preparation and celebration in the Far East of the USSR in the 1930s of one of the main Soviet holidays - the Great October Socialist Revolution is considered. The Soviet authorities actively used the traditions of holidays and festive rites as one of the important aspects of political, ideological and psychological treatment of the population. In the 1930s. this holiday in its political and ideological aspect was aimed not so much to revive the events of the recent past, as to draw public attention to the pressing state tasks and to stimulate labor and patriotic impulses of the masses in both central regions of the country and in the provinces. The Far East did not stay away from the all-Union festive tradition. The local party and economic authorities through the creation of festive commissions conducted a broad political and ideological (talks, newspaper readings, meetings with participants in revolutionary events, the publications of the festive issues of newspapers, festive broadcasts on radio, etc.), mass organizational and preparatory (cleaning and decoration of streets, squares, buildings of settlements, decoration of columns of demonstrations, replenishment of stores with goods and products, timely payment of salaries, bonuses of the best workers) work on the eve of and during the holiday. Reporting documentation of the Soviet economic authorities clearly demonstrates the successes and omissions in the celebration of the Great October Revolution in the region in the 1930s. | 1354 | Introduction. Media discourse of public informational and media language personalities is one of topic object of research in up-to-date Russian studies in connection with the active role of information and communication technologies in modern society and the new cognitive and discursive paradigm of linguistic knowledge. Of particular interest are linguistic personalities of the syncretic type, combining several types of activities at once, performing different roles (social, professional, communicative, etc.). Boris Akunin (Grigory Chkhartishvili) belongs to this type of person. The aim of the article is to research the reflection of literary creative work the theme in media discourse of a famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type, to examine and describe his conception of literary creation’s specificity in the aspect of the author’s idiostyle. Material and methods. The author’s blogs of 2020 and interviews with his participation in 2015–2021 were taken as the research material. To study the idiostyle features of an information and media language personality and its ideas about literary creation, a complex methodology for analyzing the general idiostyle was used, developed in communicative stylistics, including consideration of 3 personality styles: cultural speech, cognitive and communicative. The methods of discursive, semantic-stylistic and contextual analysis were used. Results and discussion. The study showed that the theme of literary creation, which is a key theme for the writer and blogger Boris Akunin, has received a special embodiment, taking into account his creative personality. In blogs and interviews, both general ideas about creativity and a special author’s view of the literary process are reflected. For Boris Akunin, creativity presupposes: the continuity of the literary process, in which the author is included; freedom in choosing genres, themes, style; play as an element of creativity; intrigue as a stimulus for interest in life and creativity; development, lack of routine and monotony. Creativity is viewed by the writer as something that helps to understand modern life. The cultural and speech style of a language personality, reflected in the media discourse, allows us to speak of Akunin as a bearer of an elite type of speech culture, judging by the use of various stylistic techniques and expressive means, along with the use of both literary and (less often) colloquial vocabulary. Analysis of the reflection of literary creativity’s theme in the media discourse of personality demonstrates the combination of rationalistic and metaphorical substyles of cognitive style typical for a writer and blogger. This can be judged by the author’s admissions in his blogs, and by the answers to questions regarding creativity in an interview with his participation. The communicative style of Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type is characterized by the skillful use of communicative strategies to attract attention, cooperation, and encouragement to dialogue. Taking into account the addressee’s factor and changes in the dialogue with him in connection with new information technologies characterizes the writer and blogger as a modern person, who is constantly ready for changes. Conclusion. The study of the specificity of literary creativity theme in the media discourse of the famous writer and blogger Boris Akunin as a person of the syncretic type showed not only a certain variation in his idiostyle, but also the commonality of his speech, communicative and cognitive manifestations in the genres of blog and interview. The analysis of the author’s media discourse allowed to reveal some of the features of his creative laboratory, to identify the goals and motives of literary activity. Obtained observations are of interest for the theory of speech communication and stylistics. | 1371 | The mathematical phenomenon includes the mathematical concept, the system of axioms, theorem, method, algorithm, etc. The purpose of this research is determination of all the options of perception to the mathematical phenomenon relevant for the education system and identifying some of the learning features for each of these options. A set of three postulates is chosen (the postulate on the priority result of educational and mathematical activity, the postulate of the didactic relevance of the components of activity, the postulate of the priority component of educational and mathematical activity). It is shown that if these postulates are implemented from the didactic point of view, then only two variants of the relation to mathematical phenomena are applicable: 1) the mathematical phenomenon as the subject of activity (in particular, as information to be memorized); 2) mathematical phenomenon as a tool of activity. The study of the mathematical phenomenon always begins in a situation when this phenomenon acts as an object of activity. However, to form a view of this phenomenon, the teacher must create conditions, the learning environment in which the learner naturally desires to consider this phenomenon as an instrument of activity. The examples of reflection of these variants of relationship in theory and practice of teaching mathematics are given. It is pointed out that for the students to take a mathematical phenomenon as a versatile phenomenon associated with other mathematical and non-mathematical phenomena, it is necessary that both variants of the relation to the mathematical phenomenon should be represented in the educational process. | 1372 | The urgency of establishing the essence of the term “competence-oriented task” is determined by the orientation toward achieving substantive, meta-subject and personal results of education in the secondary school educational practice. This category, widely used in pedagogical science and educational practice, does not quite justifiably relate to the concept of a task of a practical nature. The establishment of the specificity of competence-oriented tasks is carried out on the basis of an analysis of the positions of different authors, not only in understanding this category, but also in the semantically close to it concepts of “contextual task” and “situational task”, and also in connection with the modern interpretation of the learning task as a means of forming integrated educational result. The conclusion is drawn on the understanding of competence-oriented tasks as the tasks that, along with the formation of the subject competences of the student, determine the development of such qualities that determine the ability and readiness for independent cognitive activity, that is, the qualities whose totality determines the concept of cognitive competence. Examples of competence-oriented tasks are considered. Requirements to competency-oriented tasks in teaching mathematics are formulated. Proceeding from the structural and content features of cognitive competence as a significant component of an integral system of personality characteristics of a school graduate, the requirements that must be met in competence-oriented problems of school mathematics are established. | 1382 | This article concerns the question of determining levels of language competence in foreign language teaching to students of technical specialties. The paper includes the results and analysis of testing aiming at identifying relevance to one or another knowledge level of a foreign language. The knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, understanding of foreign speech based on reading is checked with the help of placement test. The assessment of basic knowledge by means of input testing reveals the correspondence of knowledge, habits and skills of students to one or another level of knowledge of a foreign language. In its turn, the subsequent language competence in the university, which orients future specialists to self-development and intercultural communication, depends on the results of testing. The main goal of the level approach in foreign language teaching is the striving to provide conditions that allow students to make progress at the level identified by the results of placement test. The experience shows that applying this approach to students in teaching allows to develop habits and skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing at the appropriate level in order to achieve the next level of mastering a foreign language successfully. According to the results of the entrance testing, the groups are formed, i.e. students are distributed to groups (subgroups) taking into account their language knowledge by means of applying the technology of level training. | 1383 | The paper deals with the key aspects of electronic literary text semiotics and the specific realization of its categories such as cohesion and coherence. The research materials include several electronic texts (based on different platforms and technologies such as Adobe Flash, Scalar, HTML 5) that demonstrate the use of conceptually valid poly-code elements in their semantic structure. The main methods of the research are general scientific methods such as monitoring and description in conjunction with the method of comparative analysis and complex linguistic and stylistic analysis of literary text. The basis of text formation logical and semantic connections is the repetition of information in the various parts of the text. The cohesion of electronic literary text structural elements is provided by micro and macro thematic correlation of nonverbal components that relate to repeated verbal elements of electronic literary text. Being semantic valid, nonverbal components (audio, video, graphics, animation) can correlate with the differ character and length verbal components (letter; word/ word combination/ phrase; a part of text: the whole text) of electronic literary text. The spatial arrangement of verbal and nonverbal elements of electronic literary text is a means of expressing thematic and conceptual structure of the electronic work. Electronic literary text coherence comes along in the recipient’s consciousness during the cognitive process which helps to build holistic meaning transferring with the help of verbal and nonverbal elements of electronic work. Electronic literary text is semiotic complex object of modern informational and communicational discourse where verbal code is still meaningful but not predominant element. This fact transfers the text materiality into the sphere of cross disciplinary research in the humanities. | 1385 | The article deals with the theater in the pedagogy of Philipp Melanchthon, primarily on the material of his prefaces and comments on the publications of Terence in 1517–1519, 1524–1528. and 1545, to which he returned throughout almost his entire career. Early editions were written within the background of his rhetorical reform at the Wittenberg Faculty of Arts, the second edition was prepared as part of the school reform in Saxony (with scholia being compiled) and, finally, the last edition reflects Melanchthon’s experience of studying ancient Greek dramaturgy (the tragedies of Euripides, Sophocles and the comedies of Aristophanes). Despite a sufficient number of scientific publications exploring the indicated sources in various contexts (Melanchthon’s ethics, his ideas about ancient drama, etc.), the article focuses on Melanchthon’s idea of theater as pedagogical practice. Analysis of the sources suggests that Melanchthon rarely shared the discourses of theater and drama, speaking together about their educational and educational functions. Sharing theological and secular knowledge into categories of Gospel and Law, Melanchthon considered it necessary to study ancient literature, philosophy and drama in particular as valuable “stories” which are rich in examples of universal human ethics and give pictures of various socio-political activity (speeches, meetings, council meetings, etc.). This idea was developed by him in his numerous works on ethics and theology. Modeling of the educational process in Melanchthon’s school based on the scholia to Terence allows us to suggest that the study of texts in the classroom was built primarily around grammar exercises and the study of expressions and vocabulary. Then his conviction of Melanchthon in the use of theater/drama for ethical and social up-bringing, along with the mentions of productions in his texts, suggests that the theatrical activity was that tool of the formation of ethics. Of course, Melanchthon was far from specific understanding the educational functions of the theater, but the practice of staging was laid in his method as an educational practice. We propose in this sense to talk about the theater in Melanchthon’s pedagogy as an anthropological practice. The dictionaries with the initial capacity of lexicographic materials provide people with the opportunities to see the semantic and derivational efficiency of the concept and its segments in full, because the lexical meanings fixed in the dictionary for a long period are what people have in mind when they use the word to communicate in a wide variety of circumstances. Happiness is one of the most important categories of consciousness, through which a national conceptual picture of the world is built, recognized and widely spread. In this article, we use the comparative analysis method to disclose different concepts of happiness from the root in the Chinese language and the Russian language. It is concluded that such values as, for example, predestination and inevitability, out of control and volatility, success, high degree of happiness, pleasure, and satisfaction are characteristic of both languages, while the definitions of „a part of life”, „get out of trouble”, „be saved from trouble (calamity)”, „pray for happiness”, and „perfect expectations” are peculiar only to the Chinese language, and the „fate”, „prosperity” „earthly bliss”, „share” and „good fortune” – exclusively to the Russian language. | 1393 | Introduction. The importance of the poetics of intertextuality in the novels of the modernist writer Lena Eltang has been repeatedly emphasized by critics and researchers. The appeal to the intertext increases the semantic density of the narrative, serves to convey the specifics of the consciousness of Eltang characters that exist in parallel in the realities of social relations and culture/texts. Material and methods. Intertextual and motivational analysis based on the works of I. Smirnov, M. Gasparov, B. Gasparov, and I. Paperno was applied. Also, the theoretical basis of the research is the works of folklorists and psychologists devoted to the motivational structure of folklore tales about an orphan girl, the plot of initiation (O. M. Freudenberg, E. N. Eleonskaya, R. Efimkin, etc.). The research material is Lena Eltang’s novel “Stone maples”. The purpose of the work is to identify the semantics and functions of the fairy-tale intertext in Lena Eltang’s modernist novel “Stone maples”. Results and discussion. The analysis of the novel allowed us to establish the correspondence of the plot logic of the novel to the motivational structure of the magic and literary fairy tale illustrating the stages of initiation. But, firstly, unlike a fairy tale, the Eltang novel is a prose of a “stream of consciousness”, focused on the disclosure of the inner world of a person. Secondly, the complex subject organization of the novel text, compared to the fairy tale, allowed Eltang to build allusions to fairy tales of different subtypes (about female and male initiation) in the storylines of different characters. The main character of the novel Sasha Sonley is building an association of his life with a fairy tale. In its storyline, it is important not only to match the archetypal plot, but also to try to change it. Despite individual efforts, the fate of the central heroine is built in accordance with a fabulous invariant about an orphan girl (in which the author’s, supra-personal will is manifested): mother’s death, loss of father’s protection; con frontation to stepmother; rivalry with stepsister; victory of the stepdaughter thanks to a magical means (maternal amulet), which also contributes to the search for the groom. The function of the mother’s talisman in the novel is performed by Travnik – “secret notebook”, which combines the diary and the set of recipes for traditional medicine.
