Afanasyeva Y.Y. S. V. KOVALEVSKAYA: «THE CHILDHOOD MEMORIES» AND IDENTITY CRISIS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 144-149

Leffler and Sofia Kovalevskaya’s (the younger) memories. The gender approach reveals a consistent inversion of traditional female roles in the fate of Kovalevskaya: unloved daughter, fictitious wife and nontypical mother, female scientist. For the analysis were taken the following works: the literary autobiography of Sofia Kovalevskaya «The Childhood Memories», the book «Sofia Kovalevskaya» by Anne Charlotte Leffler and the work «The Memories of Mother» by S. Kovalevskaya (the younger). S.V. Kovalevskaya’s «The Childhood Memories» reflects the first thirteen years of her life. The article deals with the role of family atmosphere in little Sonya’s personality development: the attitude of her mother, father, sister, governess, male relatives to her. Through childhood events both awareness of herself as an «unloved» daughter and at the same time a desire to prove that she is worth being loved and respected can be traced. Analyzes the key moments of Kovalevskaya’s complex nature formation: on the one hand - very motivated and hard-working, on the other hand - emotionally immature, vulnerable and childish.

Wang G. A STUDY OF THE TRADITIONAL VALUES OF MARRIAGE REFLECTED IN CHINESE PROVERBS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 4 (201). P. 102-109

Language is an essential element of culture and it is possible to transfer cultural information via language. Meanwhile, cultural changes affect the development of the language elements such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and usage. Therefore, the study of a culture cannot be complete without learning the language in which cultural codes are transmitted. Proverbs are an important part of the language. The contents include moral values, lifestyle, traditional culture and many other aspects. They demonstrate some ethnic cultural values, reflect the inner world of the people. There are many Chinese proverbs showing the traditional ideas of marriage and the right choice of a spouse. The family as a unit of society is an important carrier of continuity and the development of national culture. This article discusses the importance of family life and the meanings of marriage based on the analysis of some typical related Chinese proverbs. The characteristics and special features of Chinese traditional family and marriage values can be represented in these proverbs. The deep structure of the proverbs indicates the need to preserve stability and harmony in the family and marriage, which is one of the most crucial values identified and substantiated through long history. This paper suggests that traditional Chinese people have been paying great attention to the family life and quality of marriage. It emphasizes that when choosing a spouse, moral qualities were considered more seriously than outer appearance. Besides, the positions of the husband and wife should be roughly equal in terms of social classes, financial conditions and educational backgrounds. Proverbs conveys the traditional ideas that men take the leading and dominant roles in family life. By analyzing Chinese proverbs about marriage and family relationships, one can gain further understanding of the traditional Chinese view of marriage and love. In Chinese society at the beginning of the 21st century, traditional values are still the resources for people to develop the new concepts of relations between spouses and such research meets the requirements of the social development of modern society.

Vasilieva D.S., Orlova N.V. BEHAVIORAL NORMS IN TALK SHOW FORMAT: LINGUAXIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF TV SHOW “LIVE WITH ANDREY MALAKHOV”. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 4 (210). P. 152-162

Introduction. The influence of modern media on the worldview and behavioral attitudes of society remains poorly understood. Behavioral norms, broadcast in the format of talk shows, are the basis for evaluative statements, are correlated with the values of different types. The dialectical relations of the components of the axiological complex determine the feasibility of their joint consideration. The goal is to identify and describe behavioral norms, assessments of a person and the values of society represented in one of the programs of the talk show “Live with Andrey Malakhov”. Material and methods. Linguoaxiological analysis is a semantic analysis of units of different language levels and categories of discursive nature, aimed at identifying normative and estimated values in the field of human behavior. The stages of the analysis are the identification of typical means of expressing these values and the formation on their basis of a factual basis for research, the classification of statements according to their relation to certain types of values, the reconstruction of relevant behavioral norms, the interpretation of the results taking into account information about the features of the talk show format. Results and discussion. Along with the lexical and phraseological units of the language, estimated and normative values are regularly expressed by markers of deontic modality, grammatical means of enlarging the scale of the situation, lexical and grammatical indicators of deviation from the norm; moreover, in their translation involved knowledge. Utility-material prevail in the repertoire of values. Behavioral norms correlate with traditional values of different social groups and post-Soviet values. The influence of the transmission format on the presentation of axiological meanings lies in the relational (from the negative) presentation of the norms of behavior and in the level of their generality, in a strict balance of sign ratings, in the prevalence of personal values over social, utilitarianmaterial – over spiritual. A methodology for describing the axiological complex “behavioral norms, assessments of a person and the values of socie-ty”, presented in a media text imitating a discussion about a socially significant problem, is proposed and tested. Conclusion. The findings correlate with the results obtained in works in other humanitarian areas. Due to the presuppositive nature of the norm semantics, its linguistic reconstruction presupposes attention to non-specialized language means, as well as discursive phenomena.

Tolstova M.A. FEMALE AGE STATUSES IN A DIALECT: THE MAIDENHOOD. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 2 (199). P. 21-27

Introduction. The purpose of the article is the analysis of verbalization of maidenhood concepts in traditional culture. The materials of the study are dialect dictionaries, as well as the materials of dialectological expeditions conducted by Tomsk State University linguists from 1947 to nowadays in the dialects distribution territory of the Middle Ob Region. The use of this material allows us to explore the concept of maidenhood, taking into account the changes taking place in the dialect culture and caused by both linguistic and extralinguistic factors. Results. Concepts of maidenhood are objectified in the lexical and phraseological dialect units, nominating maidens and characterizing their behavior. In peasant culture, marriage was considered as the fulfillment of the main female life purpose. Therefore, society demonstrated the importance attached to the preservation of maiden honor. It was reflected in a number of stable combinations that denominate a virgin. Noncompliance with this form was a great disgrace for a girl and her parents. The loss of virginity and the birth of a child before marriage are characterized by units containing seme `shame‘. Zoomorphic metaphors are also used in dialect speech, indicating the comparison of extramarital relations with the animal world, in which the rules of human society do not operate. Marriage for a girl in traditional culture is perceived as a necessity, this fact is evidenced by the analysis of ritual lyrics. In dialectal folklore ditties are recorded with the intention of warning or recommendations not to marry. The use of a large number of verbs, the grammatical form of which reflects the lack of participation of the girl in the decision to marry is also characteristic. The analysis of the units nominating wedding ceremonies confirms the idea that marriage was economically beneficial and did not depend on emotional attachment. The wedding is treated as a ritual transition, initiating a girl to the status of a woman. At the same time, the transformation of the concept of maidenhood is shown due to social, historical and economic factors. Dialect speakers note a change of social norms. They condemn the behavior of modern girls, in relationships with the opposite sex before marriage, and the lack of a sense of shame for that matter. Dialect speakers also mention the disappearance or simplification of the wedding rite and the absence of legal relations between the spouses.

Efendiyeva N.R., Poplavskaya I.A. S. YA. MARSHAK AS A TRANSLATOR OF POETRY AND PROSE BY G. RODARI. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 4 (222). P. 137-146

Introduction. The dialogue of Russian and Western European literature, translations of foreign texts and their assimilation in the host culture, the creation of national world images – all these issues are relevant in modern literary criticism, translation studies, and country studies. The aesthetic principles of S. Ya. Marshak in translating the poetry and prose of the Italian writer J. Rodari correspond to his concept of translation-portrait and organically fit into the history of Russian and Italian literature for children in the middle of the 20th century. The purpose of the article is seen in the disclosure of the relationship between the principles of Marshak-translator and their refraction in translations of poetry and prose by J. Rodari, addressed to the child reader. Material and methods. The material of the study is critical articles by S. Ya. Marshak, poems by G. Rodari “What do crafts smell like?”, “Venice” and the prose story-tale “The Adventures of Cipollino”, translated by Z. M. Potapova and edited by S. Ya. Marshak. The work uses receptive and imagological approaches, comparative-typological, comparative-historical and comparative-comparative methods, as well as contextual and content analysis of Rodari’s original works and their Russian counterparts-translations. Results and discussion. There are different types of translations – “address” translation by K. I. Chukovsky, “translation-portrait” and translation-editing by S. Ya. Marshak. In accordance with the poetics of Italian poetry for children and the Italian literary fairy tale, S. Ya. Marshak’s translations of G. Rodari’s poems and the translation-retelling of the story “The Adventures of Cipollino” are analyzed. The folklore origins of Italian children’s literature are revealed, the connection of the fairy tale about the onion boy with the traditions of “commedia dell’arte” and with a fairy tale, the features of the reader’s perception of the child are revealed, the “double” aesthetic position of the author writing for children is comprehended: “adult” consciousness, resurrecting in itself the consciousness and worldview of the child. The translation principles of S. Ya. Marshak-poet and S. Ya. Marshak-prose writer are considered and compared. The role of the works of G. Rodari in the formation of Russian-Italian literary and cultural relationships and in the formation of Russian literature for children is emphasized. Conclusion. The closeness of the translation principles of J. Rodari and S. Ya. Marshak is analyzed, the correlation of the translation strategies of the Russian author with the traditions of Russian translated literature is clarified. The role of S. Ya. Marshak and M. Gorky in the opening of the State Publishing House of Children’s Literature in 1933 is revealed. The circle of writers who laid the foundations of Soviet literature for children in the first half of the 20th century is determined. The connection between the translation principles of S. Ya. Marshak and the concept of modern adaptive translation by G. M. Kruzhkov is revealed. For the completeness of the reception of Russian literature for children, the article by M. I. Tsvetaeva “On the new Russian children’s book” is used.

The article attempts to identify the meaning of mock weddings and funerals which were the important part of the festive culture of the Petrine era and did not find a consistent explanation in historiography. For the analysis of historical material the author draws M. M. Bakhtin’s culturological nature theory of carnival and B. A. Uspenskiy’s theory of anti-behavior, as well as laughter concepts, lying at the intersection of cultural studies and psychology. Interdisciplinary and comparative-historical approaches allows to highlight in Peter’s amusements the characteristics of both Russian and European holiday traditions, creatively transformed by the tsar-reformer. Proposed the assumption that the elements of carnival, “adsorbed” by the baroque culture, was performed for Peter’s psyche a compensatory function, helping to cope with the stresses, related with the disturbance of cultural norms in the course of reform activities.

The article presents the analysis of peculiarities of creation of family and family life of the Russian law intellectual elite of the period of modernization in the second half of XIX – early XX centuries. The importance of this aspect is due to the significance of the family, especially wife, in creating the conditions for successful scientific and journalistic activities. Some aspects of the problem are reflected in the works of N. L. Pushkareva, L. P. Repina, T. A. Saburova. This issue is at the intersection of problematic fields of history of intellectual culture, and the history of everyday life. A full study of the results of intellectual activity is possible only taking into account the understanding of the working conditions of their creators, their surrounding environment and relationships with family. To understand these features we have applied the methods of biographical and generational analysis, and gender analysis from the standpoint of the historical andrology. Conclusions based on the study with the denoted positions of the diaries and memoirs of the lawyers. Professionally successful lawyers suffered the most comfortable transition to a small family, perceived equitable conjugal role and the active role of the father in the upbringing of children. Marriage was seen as a deliberate step, voluntary, based on love union. The financial position of the bride had a secondary role, importance is given to personal qualities and level of intelligence. They emphasized the undoubted value to family life. Extramarital relations (if mentioned) were described very veiled. Representations of law intellectual elite about family and marriage, as well as practical implementation has coincided with the trends in this direction among the Russian educated society in the second half of XIX – early XX centuries.

Karimova R.K., Bolotova E.V. STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF DERIVATIVES WITH THE SUFFIX -UNG IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE (THE STUDY OF NEWSPAPER VOCABULARY). Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2020. Issue 5 (211). P. 72-79

Introduction. The article describes the structural and semantic properties of derivatives with the suffix-ung, which is productive in the word formation of the modern German language. A brief historical reference contains information about the use and distribution of this suffix in the old high German and early high German periods. The aim of the article is to identify the morphological features, structural and semantiс properties of derivatives with the suffix -ung in the newspaper vocabulary of the modern German language. Material and methods. Sources for the analysis were German-language Newspapers, from which most of the selected material are the verbal nouns. The identified properties of derivatives confirm the existing theory in linguistics about the productivity of the suffix-ung, due to such factors as transitivity, the presence of a prefix or its absence, as well as the attribution of the generating base to a certain part of speech. These factors are fundamental in the work. Verbs are as generating bases in relation to the influence of transitivity on the word-forming possibilities of the suffixung. Results and discussion. Prefixed verbs act as frequency generating bases for the formation of ung-nouns. In such word-forming processes, the bases of verbs with inseparable prefixes predominate. The suffix-ung is subject to various interpretations, taking into account the correlation of the generating bases with any part of speech. The most frequent meaning of this suffix is the meaning of an action, process, result of an action, or object that arose as a result of this action, which indicates the reflection and preservation of verbal partial semantics in the semantic structure of derivatives. Conclusion. Structural and semantic properties of derivatives act as a mutually determining criterion for the frequent use of the suffix-ung in the word-formation processes of the modern German language. The obvious productivity of the suffix, characteristic of newspaper texts, is the basis for a prospective study of ung-nominalizations in various types of discourse.

The purpose of the paper is to highlight the main features of the category of distribution in time and determine the basis for typological analysis of the selected Ket verbal derivational categories. On the one hand, the main semantic features of the Ket category of distribution in time are considered, on the other hand the attention is paid to the means of the description of these features. The analysis presented in the paper shows that the main feature of the semantic category of the verbal quantity is the split into two derivational patterns. The first pattern ‘iterative’ includes the opposition of multiplex and full-cycle verbs, the second pattern ‘semelfactive’ involves only one semantic class of verbs (sound production verbs), moreover it is based on the oppositions within two cognitive categories plexity and state of boundedness.

The problems of education are on the first place in the past and present time. G.N. Potanin considered that the main idea of reforming Russian schools in the end of the XIXth-beginning of the XXth centuries should be patriotic education of Russian students. As a solution Potanin proposed to introduce the subject “rodinovedenie” (leaning about the country – Russia) in the school schedule. The main result of this reform should be the political stability in Russia. The October revolution and the Civil War in Russia in the beginning of the 20th century showed the truthfulness of G.N. There are different options of the national language picture of the world, because the national language is heterogeneous. This variability is manifested in the texts of creative linguistic identity. This thesis is confirmed by numerous linguistic and literary studies of the creative work of the outstanding Russian writer of the XX century V. P. Astafiev. The writer had a great life experience and mastered several forms of the Russian national language: standardized literary language, common parlance, territorial and social dialects. Different variants of the Russian language picture of the world are associated with this forms. V. P. Astafiev showed life of Russia in his works, he used autobiographical principle of construction of literary text. For this reason the author’s individual language picture of the world that he presented in his texts includes elements of the different variants of the Russian language picture of the world.

Shutova A.V. CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS OF A LITERARY TEXT AS A BASIS FOR SHAPING A STUDENT’S TEXTUAL COMPETENCE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 41-45

The main idea of the article is a statement that mastering the basics of conceptual analysis by high-school students enables them to acquire textual competence. Nowadays, there is no standard definition of the term ‘concept’; there are several methods of conceptual analysis. A concept is something versatile. In various fields of studies, researchers draw special attention to one or another aspect of the concept. The article presents a review of some methods of carrying-out a conceptual analysis of a text and of a word generally accepted both in cognitive linguistics and cognitive poetics and in the Russian language teaching methods. The author proposes an improved version of conceptual analysis worked out in accordance with communicative stylistics of the text. This version is adapted to the practical issues of shaping text competences of students at school. This method is illustrated by the example of the concept ‘death’ verbalized in the poem of O. E. Mandelstam. Such kind of work should be given as part of an elective course taking into account that this kind of activity is not included in the curriculum. The course of work is controlled by the teacher because the students need a teacher to explain scientific terms to them, as well as to help them with step-by-step performance of the exercise. It is important to use diverse dictionaries (definition dictionaries, etymological dictionaries, dictionaries of synonyms, of antonyms and others). The goal at this stage is to find necessary dictionary entries and to analyze them to discover coincidences / distinctions in semantics and actual meaning of the key units that actualize the principal attributes of the concept and are reflected in the vocabulary and in the poem of the poet. Equally important is the final stage of the work which is to generalize and to formulate the author’s own opinion on the content of the concept. The article may be interesting for the students of pedagogical universities and the Russian language teachers.

The specificity of the Cadet schools is conditioned by the fact that the rules of life and the daily routine of the pupils are based on the All- Military Charters, are strictly regulated and are constantly monitored by the teachers and the administration of the institution. At the same time, the need to create conditions for the development of pupils as free personalities capable of self-development, to make decisions, to realize their own abilities, plans and projects is emphasized. The developed model of the education of students in the cadet school is oriented towards the formation of such social experience among the cadets. The model will ensure the formation of cadets’ experience of self-determination in choice situations, development of leadership qualities, an active creative position, readiness for self-realization in social practice. Examples of the educational activities of the Cadet School, the structural subdivision of the State Security Service of the School No. 1770 («Moscow Cadet Music Corps (Girls)» and «Moscow Cadet Music Corps (boys)»), indicate ways for the Cadets to prepare for self-actualization in creative activity; components of the educational process in the cadet school, the traditions of the general educational institution with musical cadet classes, the important role of the family in the organization of the educational process in the cadet school.

In the present work the gasdynamic mathematical model of the airbag gas generator with porous monoblock charge is submitted. The analysis of calculations results comparison with experimental data obtained for model gas generators is made. On the base of examination of main processes physics development new design of the airbag gas generator with a porous charge is offered and analyzed. R.A. Ritter, A.V. Fateev, O.Kh. Poleshchuk. Density Functional Theory: Estimation of Nuclear Quadrupole Moments of Some Nuclei The Becke's hybrid method with the different correlation functionate has been used for the calculation of nuclear quadrupole coupling constants (NQCC) for the large number of molecules containing 9 various quadrupole nuclei. Electric field gradients were calculated at various ievels of DFT approach: B3LYP/ 6-31+G(df,pd), B3LYP/cc-pVTZ, BHandHLYP/aug-cc-pVTZ, B3LYP/3-21G(d). The nuclear quadrupole moments of oxygen, fluorine, chlorine, nitrogen, boron, aluminum, arsenic, niobium and antimony isotopes v/ere calibrated.
