| 1851 | The article deals with approaches to the definition of the essence of foreign communicative competence and its structural components. The author pays special attention to the study of language competence in the structure of the foreign communicative competence. The paper presents two components of the language competence: readiness and ability to apply linguistic knowledge (orthographic, phonetic, grammatical and lexical ones) and skills of operating this knowledge in accordance with the spheres, situations and themes of communication intended for learning at the secondary school. The author of the article developed and implemented the «Sound-letter train» evaluative method in order to determine the level formation of above-mentioned knowledge and skills. The article presents the method passport: a detailed description of an application procedure, the necessary tools for implementation, and also the introduction (instruction) for students. It demonstrates one full-text version of the method, which had been implemented in the group of students. While describing the technique, the author points out the variability of time and contingent of people on whom the method may be implemented. The author proposes the topics and ways of modifying the method for students depending on the contingent and the training level. The author comes to the conclusion that the method is a way of assessing the formation of orthographic and phonetic knowledge and skills of operating them in the context of the system-activity approach. This method takes into account the requirements of the federal state educational standard for the growing role of the students’ independence while detecting themselves knowledge gaps, expression by them of self-regulation and self-esteem. The article describes the aspects of the metaphorical interpretation of the concept stone, presented in Russian linguistic culture and the system of figurative means of the Russian language. The relevance of the research is due to the scientific interest in the study of the metaphorical functioning of concepts and their figurative language representation in the perspective of the anthropocentric paradigm of linguistics. The aim of the work is to describe the metaphorization of various qualities and properties of a stone for the figurative description of objects of the surrounding reality and the inner world of a person, expressed in the semantics of language units and speech statements. Material and methods. The methodology of the work is based on cognitive, linguistic, cultural and system-structural approaches to the study of the figurative language and speech. The methods of structural-semantic, conceptual and contextual analysis, as well as field modeling and cultural linguistic commentary are used. Empirical material is represented by figurative words and expressions (about 200 units), as well as contexts that demonstrate their metaphorical functioning (about 850 contexts). The sources were the published explanatory and phraseological dictionaries of the modern Russian language and the text base of the National Corps of the Russian language. Results and discussion. As a result, the qualities and properties of the concept being studied were described, which served as the basis for metaphorical projections on figuratively named objects and situations; the lexical and phraseological field of the Russian language is characterized, represented by words and expressions, metaphorically motivated names with the semantics ‘stone’; cognitive models are revealed for which the Stone conceptual sphere is the initial one and serves as a source of the metaphorical characteristics of the phenomena of other conceptual target spheres. The concept of stone in its metaphorical functioning actualizes the following basic features: hardness, strength, heaviness, immobility, color. These qualities of a stone are metaphorically projected onto the properties of various material and non-material objects: objects (hard, lost softness), the human body (heavy, immovable), psychological states of a person (grief, anxiety, depression, torpor), moral qualities (indifference, willpower, responsiveness), mental and social activities (meaningful content, the beginning of activities). Conclusion. The obtained results demonstrate cognitively and axiologically significant fragment of the Russian language world view. The corpus research data testify active metaphoric functioning of the Stone concept in modern discursive practices. [1] for particle number production with a heavy neutral scalar and a light complex scalar. | 1888 | The article deals with the concept “Lexical structure of a text” as one of the major notions in functional lexicology and communicative stylistics. In connection with the fact that the basic element of any piece of art is a word, the fundamental element in research of creation of a specific author is identification of peculiarities of the lexical structure of his poetic texts. The analysis made by the author of the article makes it possible to compare the features of the lexical structure of the texts with different creative periods of the author and to identify a certain dynamics. In order to carry out the analysis of the lexical structures of O. E. Mandelstam’s poetic texts based on the periodization of the poet’s work offered by M. L. Gasparov, three most typical, written at different times poems were chosen: relating to the period of early creation “More tender than tender”/ ”Nezhneye nezhnogo” (1909), to the period “Tristia” “The light Moscow rain”/ ”Moskovskiy dozhdik” (1922), to the period of the thirties of the twentieth century “We live with no sense of the country”/” My zhivem, pod soboyu ne chuya strany” (1933). The research found that the lexical structure of poetic texts by O. E. Mandelstam is notable for its wealth and diversity. The poetic texts chosen for the research made it possible to identify various types of their lexical structuring (Depending on the central main point of associative-semantic macro network of the work; depending on the dominance of one of the three types of sense relationship in the framework of lexical microstructures: addition, intensification and contrast; depending on the degree of explicitness / implicitness of dominant lexical microstructure). It is established that the prevalence of defined type of lexical structure in poetic texts by the author correlates with different periods of work of the poet in accordance with evolution of his poetic and linguistic worldview. Aim and objectives. The aim of this article is to describe the specifics of the entertainment function of the media in the discursive space of convergent radio. The object of research is the discursive practice of convergent radio. Material and methods. The article considers new forms of media communication that are significant in the aspect of those technological and socio-cultural changes that led to the emergence of convergent radio. Based on the material of web pages and social network versions of radio channels, the discursive mechanisms for the implementation of the entertainment function are analyzed. On the basis of the theoretical provisions of discourse analysis and social semiotics, an assumption is made about the hedonistic nature of the entertainment function of convergent radio. Results and discussion. The work investigates the specialty of the hedonistic function of modern radio discourse. Texts from radio websites and social network versions of entertaining radio channels served as material. From the position of modern semiotics and discourse analysis, the main communicative models between the subjects of discourse, which are formed on the borders of hedonistic strategy of radio, are allotted. A big role was played by advertising discourse and PR both integrated into communication practice by strategies of radio which pursue consumer’s ideology of modern media. Conclusion. Thus the interaction of radio discourse, advertising discourse, and PR provides hedonistic effects of (targeted attention) and participation: based on action and semiotic codes the addressee forms a convenient psychoemotional area of their identity – the consumer of high-quality media products, the user of various services that replace social institutions such as libraries, cinemas, hobby clubs, etc.. | 1895 | The focus of the article is on the question of the axiological modelling of the world, which is considered in terms of cognitive and communicative aspects of the speech behavior of radio presenters. The analysis of the motive structure provides guidance on specificity of ideological attitudes of discourse. The motive is presented as structural, compositional and substantive reception and is resulted in discursive ideology. The function of the motive structure of discourse of the information and analytic radio is described in terms of language and communicative mechanisms of realization of conflictual potential. The ideological level of discourse is presented in conceptual discursive oppositions, which is determined in the scope of a preffered cultural model. | 1896 | The article examines the issue of Italian painting reception in the creativity of V.F. Odoevsky at the levels of images, motives, allusions. This issue is associated with pictorial art as a challenge for Odoevsky. Italian art in his prose is connected with a creator’s destiny: his …, insanity, unrealized … Art and creativity express chaotic and irrational part of the human nature, forming opposition with philosophy. The image of Italian Madonna is interpreted as an aesthetic and etic ideal of beauty. Odoevsky’s perception in this aspect corresponds with perception of the Lubomudry in general. This idea of perfection reflected in the images of wise and beautiful women playing the role of Muse. In aesthetic conception of Vackenroder the same image creates ties between art and religion. Madonna is identified in short stories “Vicenzio and Cecilia”, “The improvisator”, in stories “Silphide” and “Black glove”. Odoevsky uses ideas of German romanticists and Zhukovsky, but reconsiders them. For example, Cecilia embodies not only beauty, but also spiritual independence. The picture with Madonna in “The improvisator” expresses motive of beauty damaged by analysis and rationality. In the image of Siphide Odoevsky combines features of Venus, the divine of love and beauty painted by Botticelli, and Cristian Madonna. “Black glove” demonstrates absence of Madonna (line of Maria) in modern world. In conclusion, interpretation of Madonna’s image is included in Italian text system of the Lubomudry. However, Odoevsky adds to this text individual features typical of his philosophical prose. | 1899 | Our task in this paper is to point out some stages in the development of narrativist turn in philosophy of history. We argue that the narrativist theme now moved away from what were formerly dominant perspectives focused primarily on literary texts and moved towards analysis of narratives as our primary way of organizing our experience of time and life. In philosophy of history that turn was formulated in agonistic relationship to Hempelian covering-law models. W.H. Dray has written that one of the best means of explaining a change is to trace the course of events by which it came about. The new step was realized by L. Mink. Mink criticized concept of following a story elaborated by W. B. Gallie and asserted configurational character of narrative activity. He says that the author derives the structure from telling the story itself, not from the events it relates. And developing this idea H. White concluded that historians draw on the «plot-structure» identified by N. Frye as Romance, Comedy, Tragedy and Satire. D. Carr says that it is an «escape» from reality. He stresses continuity between narrative and everyday life and recon-figurational character of historical and fictional narrative.
