| 2002 | The article is devoted to the description of temporal lexis units with short duration meaning such as: moment and instant. It contains comparative analysis of their semantic distinctive features, variants of using and nuanced, contextual interpretation. The work touches upon the question of their semantization and metaphorization in the text. The paper deals with the description of the fixed collocations with phraseological meanings, which function in modern languages. The author characterizes fixed collocations as phraseological units, discusses the issue of their place in the system of modern phraseology and also presents a brief analysis of phraseological units based on temporal lexis of short duration. Structural and semantic transformations in lexical and phraseological units to a greater extent are determined by the national-cultural component that can be described as complex phenomenon that deals with a number of aspects. The material is presented from the point of view of anthropocentric paradigm and national-specific picture of the world. It provides a brief overview of the issue on the material of English, French and Russian. | 2003 | Pragmatics of speech behavior of public language personality subject to its individual and personal peculiarities in conditions of media communication is not still examined enough. According to this fact in the aspect of influence on mass audience individual and typical linguistic and extra linguistic peculiarities of media discourses of public language personalities of an actress Tatyana Dogileva and film director Vladimir Khotinenko as the members of radio show “Dithyramb” on radio “Echo of Moscow” were considered in the article. Comparative and contrastive analysis allowed to determine some important in the aspect of influence on collective addressee typical and individual gender peculiarities, psychological (temperament, character), social (dependence on status), professional and some speech peculiarities (preference on the level of language means, which reflect specificity of human mentality). For researching of media discourse influence of individual and personal factors of language personalities on mass addressee contextdependent and semantic and stylistic analysis of questions and comments before broadcasting and comments after broadcasting, and analysis of regulative means and structures have been used. Connection of pragmatics of public language personalities’ media discourse with their informational field have been revealed. It was determined that first of all the content of language personality’s message is important, though form of expression also matters. The common factors, which are important for media discourse of creative public language personality’s influence according to the research, are the following: high level of media discourse emotionality as a reflection of not only gender peculiarities, but even cognitive style, that is connected with figurative and metaphoric reality perception used for creative persons. With such variety of regulative means used by language personalities, repetition in aggregate with other means and structures dominates (comparison, parcelling, rhetorical questions, etc). Some individual and personal peculiarities of media discourse may increase influence effect and at the same time reduce it. The results are of interest for theory of speech influence, media linguistics, communicative stylistics of the text. | 2004 | Pragmalinguistics is a core discipline within the modern linguistics. It is the study of human communication. This article deals with the choices speaker makes to express his intended meaning and the kinds of inferences that hearers draw from an utterance in the context of its use. The article surveys pragmalinguistics from different perspectives, presenting the main theories in pragmatic research, incorporating conscious verbal act as well as unconscious one. In the fast-developing field of implicit pragmalinguistics, our investigation fills the gap in the wide scope of today’s research revealing the actualization of the hidden grammatical meanings depending on the specific pragmatic situation of human communication. This article analyzes the verbal habits of New-Zealand politician John Key according to emotive and conative-oriented strategies. It also identifies the fragment of John’s verbal image based on automatized and unconscious choice of the speech signals, represented in the hidden verbal strategies. They are focused on the hidden conviction of the interlocutor and the formation of his mental state. The recipient takes them on an unconscious level simultaneously with lexical, semantic, grammatical forms and meanings. Speech signals of hidden intentions, as the contents of the hidden intentions are considered as the novelty of the work. The given verbal image allows us to reveal his automatized verbal experience, so therefore his individuality and uniqueness. The difficulty lies in the interpretation of these hidden intentions as well as their existence in speech and their perceptions by the recipients. Meanwhile, cultural changes affect the development of the language elements such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and usage. Therefore, the study of a culture cannot be complete without learning the language in which cultural codes are transmitted. Proverbs are an important part of the language. The contents include moral values, lifestyle, traditional culture and many other aspects. They demonstrate some ethnic cultural values, reflect the inner world of the people. There are many Chinese proverbs showing the traditional ideas of marriage and the right choice of a spouse. The family as a unit of society is an important carrier of continuity and the development of national culture. This article discusses the importance of family life and the meanings of marriage based on the analysis of some typical related Chinese proverbs. The characteristics and special features of Chinese traditional family and marriage values can be represented in these proverbs. The deep structure of the proverbs indicates the need to preserve stability and harmony in the family and marriage, which is one of the most crucial values identified and substantiated through long history. This paper suggests that traditional Chinese people have been paying great attention to the family life and quality of marriage. It emphasizes that when choosing a spouse, moral qualities were considered more seriously than outer appearance. Besides, the positions of the husband and wife should be roughly equal in terms of social classes, financial conditions and educational backgrounds. Proverbs conveys the traditional ideas that men take the leading and dominant roles in family life. By analyzing Chinese proverbs about marriage and family relationships, one can gain further understanding of the traditional Chinese view of marriage and love. In Chinese society at the beginning of the 21st century, traditional values are still the resources for people to develop the new concepts of relations between spouses and such research meets the requirements of the social development of modern society. | 2016 | In author’s opinion on the ancient history of the Northwestern and central Northern Caucasus was closely linked with Indo-European migrations from Central Europe in the second half of the 3rd – beginning of the 2nd centuries B.C. The first migrants to this region consisted of the mixed groups of Indo-Europeans and non-Indo-Europeans that can be corresponded to the Tocharians (Afanasievo culture) and formed pre-Maikop cultural horizon with the horse-head scepters. The second stream of the European population that reached the Caucasus included the “Ancient Europeans” (AE – ancestors of the Slavs, the Germans, the Balts, the Celts, the Italics), and the Anatolians as well. The dolmens under the barrows in the Northwestern Caucasus were left by them. The archaeological equivalents of AE groups settled in the central part of the Northern Caucasus are the kurgan burials of the Kuban-Terek culture that dated from 3rd -2nd centuries BC. Thus the history of the Ancient Caucasus in 3rd century B.C can be regarded as a part of the IndoEuropean history of Europe. | 2020 | The paper considers interjections in the framework of the theory of speech acts. Different approaches of foreign linguists to the description of the illoсutionary purpose in interjection’s utterances are analyzed. The ideas of Anna Wierzbicka about the absence of illocutionary purpose in this type of utterances as consequence of their spontaneity was criticized by D. Wilkins and T. Wharton. These researchers adduce arguments in favor of illocution’s presence in interjections and argue that the extent of illocution varies from interjection to interjection, depending on the degree of it’s linguistics or paralinguistics. On the basis of discursive analyses data I argue that above-mentioned regularity contradicts the obvious language facts. The first fact is that the same interjection can be used in various types of speech acts, and another one is that the subclass of volitive interjections has an evident illocutionary purpose in spite of its strong extent of paralinguistics. In this paper I propose new solution to the interpretation of interjections within the speech acts theory, which is based on the understanding that non-controversial description of interjections can be achieved on the base of recognition of their interactional character. An interactional character is understood in this case as subject-subject or object-subject forms of speech behavior which take place at the moment of interjections uttering. Such approach allows to overcome the restrictions of numeral interpretative theories which are relevant only for prototypical emotive interjections. The understanding of interactional nature of interjections speech acts allows us to elaborate the theory that can be used as theoretical basis for all subclasses of interjections. Under this approach all types of interjections could be qualified as behabitives that had been characterized by J. Searle as reactions to behavior of other people. Within the offered classification there is a need of a reinterpretation of the term “behabitives”. This category has to be expanded from traditional etiquette speech acts to all types of utterances containing emotive and volitive interjections. | 2032 | The communicative and pragmatic research of individual media discourse of Viktor Erofeev, contemporary Russian writer, the presenter of author’s cultural and entertaining TV program “Apokrif” on the channel “Culture”, was presented. Author-presenter’s professional speech behavior organizes his individual media discourse, determining the holistic well-known journalist’s image in circumstances of current discursive practice. At the same time specific peculiarities of his informational and media language personality’s idiostyle are reflected in television journalists’s individual media discourse. Analysis of individual media discourse of TV presenter is based on the criteria, which were described by the author. The linguistic and paralinguistic (phonational and kinetic) characteristics of communicative behavior of informational and media language personality of TV presenter-writer, as well as extralinguistic factors determining the specificity of the media environment, were described. The results of the research of the features of the language personality of Viktor Erofeev with the use of separate elements of the software system “VAAL” are presented. The means of quantitative content analysis identified the thematic groups of words most often used by the TV presenter. The analysis of Victor Erofeev’s speech from the point of view of the use of emotionally colored words (“emotional-lexical” estimations) is presented. The results of the linguistic projective test of Cattell are described. These results with a probability of 70–90 % characterize the psychological characteristics of the personality of Viktor Erofeev. | 2033 | Introduction. In the modern world, human life is impossible to imagine without the use of various digital resources. The transition to the digital economy dictates new needs associated with modern equipment and software, primarily with the training of competitive personnel for the future digital economy, on which Russia’s positioning and opportunities in the global economic market depend. The competencies of young professionals that were in demand a few years ago and seemed promising, for example, confident use of a computer, now seem basic. In an ever-changing world, it is important to start training future specialists for the digital economy in a timely manner, since retraining and training of personnel will require large time resources. In this case, there is an acute question of teaching staff who would be able to start the process of training young professionals. The role of such personnel is played by school teachers, on whom the quality of training of future personnel depends, and consequently, the speed of the country’s transition to full digitalization of all spheres of life. To train future staff, teachers need to master new competencies and needs that are dictated by modern society and the labor market. Thus, the issue of comprehensive retraining and advanced training of school teachers is acute. Material and methods. The author substantiates the development and implementation of a professional development course for teachers, briefly describes the sections, significance and methods of implementing the course. Results and discussion. Developed and conducted a professional development course for teachers dedicated to digital educational resources in the framework of the project “Digital Educational Environment”. Conclusion. Teachers who have successfully completed advanced training courses acquire new skills and improve their previous competencies in the field of digital educational resources, which allows teachers to revise the usual teaching methods, make the learning model more flexible and individual for each student. And also start training for life in the era of digitalization and the digital economy.
