| 3203 | Introduction. Lena Eltang’s novel “Stone Maples” fits into the traditional, since antiquity, interpretation of the androgynous image associated with the idea of “reintegration of opposites” (M. Eliade), the problem of finding the Other to gain the anthropological and ontological completeness and integrity of the individual. The aim is to analyze the semantics of the androgynous motif in L. Eltang’s novel “Stone Maples”. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the work of M. Eliade “Mephistopheles and Androgynes”, the research of I. A. Edoshina, E. S. Turutina, N. A. Kopylova, devoted to the image of androgynes in the literature of the Silver Age and philosophy. Results and discussion. In “Stone Maples”, androgynous motifs are manifested in the conflicts between the central characters of Sasha Sonley and Llewellyn Elderberry, the half-sisters of Sasha and Edna. Androgynous motifs are presented in several versions: homosexual attraction, “intersex disguises”, sacrifice, as well as through specific metaphors of connecting two people into a harmonious whole “author-reader”, “hotel hostess-guest”. Finding love, which provides the anthropological and ontological completeness of being, is fraught with difficulties (motives for passing tests, solving riddles, choosing a betrothed). L. Eltang fundamentally distances hirself from the bodily semantics of the androgynous motif, actualizing its symbolic meaning: unity with the second half is interpreted as a meeting of the author with his reader, who is ready to become a co-author. Conclusion. Androgynous motifs reveal the themes of love and creativity in the novel. Only the acquisition of the Other gives the fullness and meaning of existence. | 3214 | Today television is the main mass media. It can show a huge audience not only current events, but also recreate the past. Therefore, today television is actively used to create television programs that broadcast historical knowledge. The author of this article examines one of the most conceptual aspect of historical popularization on TV – the conception of fact as a semantic category. The analysis bases on several examples o f television program “Nefact” (“Not a fact”), broadcasted on the Russian television channel “Zvezda”. It is a modern television product, which explores different events and phenomena in the point of view of the concept of fact and factual. In the focus of the article is lexical units “fact” and “not fact”, its semantic and functional meanings, and different ways of using in text structure of the TV-program. At the end of the article the author concludes that this lexical units can denote a reliable piece of information; 2) serve as a marker of doubt; 3) give a starting point to journalistic investigation and determine its structure; 4) serve as confirmation or refutation of information, being used at the conclusion of the investigation; 5) perform a nominative function, defining a specific style of presentation of the material. | 3215 | Introduction. The purpose of the article is to describe the model of the concept “Russian character”, presented in the mind of Chinese youth who speak Russian, by analyzing its lexical representatives identified by dint of a psycholinguistic experiment. Material and methods. The material of the study was the language reactions received during free associative experiment, which was held with 60 Chinese students. The analysis of the signs that form the structure of the concept “Russian character”, which exists in the consciousness of representatives of Chinese linguoculture, through its verbal objectivization, allows us to see the specifics of perception of representatives of Russian culture by representatives of Chinese, to evaluate the general direction of assessment of Russian by members of another ethnic group. Results and discussion. During the associative experiment representatives of Chinese culture were asked to answer the questions: “What kind of associations do you have when you hear the phrase “Russian character?”, “What kind is a Russian character?”. The analysis of the data obtained through this experiment allowed to pick out 22 character traits attributed by Chinese to Russian people. According to respondents, the key features of the Russian character are openness, cheerfulness, boldness, sincerity, etc. A smaller percentage of respondents (46.7 and 20, respectively) indicated that hardiness and responsibility are typical traits of a Russian person. 1.6 % of respondents think that straightforwardness, dexterity, enthusiasm are characteristics of Russians. Respondents also noted negative character traits of the Russian person. 26.6% of respondents call Russians selfish, 20 % – rude, 13.4 % – irresponsible, 6.7 % – lazy, greedy, etc. Thus, the model of the concept “Russian character”, existing in the consciousness of Chinese students who speak Russian, is a field structure (with nuclear and peripheral zones). The nuclear zone of the concept “Russian character” is formed by only positive qualities and character traits of Russian people, such as openness, patience, independence, etc., and the zones of the near and far periphery are presented as positive (friendliness, responsibility, activity), as well as negative qualities and character traits (selfishness, rudeness, pessimism). Conclusion. In general, the highlighted signs and their redistribution in the structure of the concept “Russian character” allow to conclude that the image of Russian people and their character in the consciousness of students from China are formed in a positive way. | 3216 | Introduction. The present paper introduces Russian historians of linguistics to a little-known treatise on the history of Spanish – “Del origen y principio de la lengua castellana o romance que oi se usa en España” (1606) by Bernardo de Aldrete. Aim and objectives. The aim of the present study is to analyse B. De Aldrete’s treatise and specify how certain notions of general linguistics, crucial for its present state of development, were being developed. Material and methods. The study is based on a print edition of Aldrete’s treatise (about 400-pages long). The methods employed are: critical analysis of the text as an example of Renaissance linguistic thought and sociocultural analysis of the historical context the treatise was written in. This XVII-century scientific text and its system of terms are interpreted with the help of modern terminology, as normally done by linguistic historiography scholars. Results and discussion. The analysis of Aldrete’s treatise as a specimen of Spanish linguistic thought is performed against the background of the earlier linguistic tradition and the sociocultural situation in the Golden-Age Spain. XVI–XVII-century Pyrenees linguistics – Spanish in particular – was developing in a very specific sociocultural milieu, which preconditioned its inter-paradigmatic nature and an extremely wide scope of objects and themes discussed. The paper mainly focuses on how Aldrete dealt with general linguistic issues in his treatise on the history of Spanish. The analysis shows that such issues include: ways of naming language; functions of language; diversity of forms of speech; correlations between language system and speech; historicity of language; language contacts; diatopic (territorial), diastratic (social) and diaphasic (functional) variation of language; distinguishing between dialects and languages; the domineering role of standard language. Conclusion. The author of the XVII-century historical-linguistic treatise under analysis does not limit himself to studying purely historical aspects of language. The work by Aldrete embraces a wide range of issues of general linguistics, which shows that as early as in the pre-Port-Royal period linguists were already discussing the concepts and principles that are crucial for modern linguistic science. | 3217 | Introduction. The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of Russian and Persian numerals in semanticstructural and functional terms. The purpose of the study is a comparative study of Russian and Persian numerals and the identification of their differences and similarities in order to improve the teaching of this part of speech to Persianspeaking students. Material and methods. The material of the study is the digits in the Russian and Persian languages, which are reflected in Russian and Persian manuals and books on the grammar of both languages. Results and discussion. The differences and similarities between the digits in the Russian and Persian languages are clarified. There are problems that Persian-speaking students encounter when using Russian numerals, especially when translating from Persian to Russian. Conclusion. The author comes to the conclusion that, firstly, in the Russian and Persian languages, numerals are divided into several groups, among which the quantitative, ordinal and fractional numerals are the same, secondly, there are no collective numerals in the Persian language, and thirdly, there are no distribution numerals in Russian, fourthly, the category of numerals in the Persian language is not inclined, and in Russian almost all digits of the numerals are declining, fifthly, the indomitability of Persian numerals and the inclination of this part of speech in Russian are the source of a number of difficulties for Persons speaking Russian and the problem is exacerbated when some numerals are inclined as nouns, and some as adjectives in plural, sixth, Russian indefinitely quantitative numerals in the Persian language are included in the category of quantitative dialects. | 3228 | One of the major problems that currently acquires great importance is the aging of the population. The prevalence of mental disorders among persons aged 60 years, on average, is higher than in the general population. Universally accepted definition of mental aging is considered as a process of age-related changes of higher mental functions, characterizing the final period of human life. With age, there are significant structural and functional changes in the body naturally, having individual differences, in turn changing the mark on the functioning of the individual. Age factors impose a significant imprint on the occurrence, dynamics and correction of neurotic disorders. | 3229 | The purpose of the article is to identify the features of scientific linguistic habitus. The author proceeds from the interpretation of science as a form of social practice and understanding of its subjective basis as a set of dispositions (scientific habitus). The linguistic habitus of science is defined as one of the sets of dispositions of the subject of scientific practice, acquired in a particular socio-historical context by taking into account the peculiarities of its carrier, and reflected the linguistic identity of a scientist to a particular tradition (educational, disciplinal, national, cultural). Responding to the question of how linguistic habitus is associated with an actual scientific practice, what specific nature it has and what the mechanisms of formation are, – the author, firstly, asserts the existence of a gap between the linguistic habitus of science and scientific practice itself. Secondly, the analysis of works of local researchers allows to refer intertextuality, expressivity and dialogueness identifying to the features of scientific linguistic habitus. Thirdly, the dynamics mechanism of scientific linguistic habitus is described on the basis of theories of P. Bourdieu and W. Labov. | 3230 | The effects of a nonsimpiy connected spacetime with the topology of S1 x R3 in the vacua of QED and gauged-NJL theories are investigated. It is shown that the polarization effects of twisted and untwisted fermions in QED are equivalent, once the corresponding stable vacuum solution of each fermion class is taken into account. The photon propagation in QED is found to be anisotropic and characterized by several massive photon modes and a superluminal transverse mode. At small compactification radius the masses of the massive modes increase as the inverse of the radius, while the massless photon mode has a superluminal velocity that increases logarithmically with that distance. At low energies the photon masses lead to an effective confinement of the gauge fields into a (2+i)-dimensional manifold transverse to the compactified direction. In the gauged-NJL model, it is shown that for both twisted and untwisted fermions, the smaller the compactification radius, the larger the critical four-fermion coupling needed to generate a fermion-antifermion chiral symmetry breaking condensate. | 1977 | |||||

A complex adaptive morphological traits and the degree of influence of the factor of adaptation of plants to different heights above sea level (from 300 to 2200 m ) on their variability in plants of this species are revealed. According to variance and regression analyses, adjusting to the increasing height above sea level in H. gmelinii inhibition of the intercalary meristem growth is shown. When climbing structure shoots varies significantly, but the transformation in plants is minor. The changes in above-ground parts of shoots ensure the preservation of particular role in cenosis and reproductive capacity, together with other peculiarities of structure in plants H. gmelinii in mountain conditions.
