Tokareva T.A. EMOTIONAL AND GAME GENERAL RANGE AS A FORM OF ORGANIZATION OF A JOINT EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY IN THE IN THE CONDITIONS OF RECENT FEDERAL STATE STANDARD OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 7 (160). P. 9-15

Educational resources of realization of an emotional and game general range as a form of organization of a joint educational activity in preschool education and in the preparation of children for school are analyzed. A form of organization of joint activity of both children and adults which promotes creating the situation of emotionally positive immersion in the educational process as well as initiatively positive communication atmosphere is presented by an emotional and game general range, where children can share what they saw or their feelings, experience, joy, expressing their opinions. An emotional and game general range gives the opportunity for all the members to be equal in a joint activity where the teacher is found not in isolation but together with the children. At the same time the children can see both the teacher and all the rest children what promotes communication. The teacher is shown to organize and participate equally in a joint activity, whereas the children take a significantly-influential stand of the participants. Emotionally communicative children involvement is important in such kind of activity. Not only the child’s readiness and desire to perceive the adult and to accept his offers but showing the interest in interacting with adults and children, his desire to make it last longer and direct it in an organized way is implied by this activity. The article shows that an emotional and game general range contributes to children’s emotionally communicative involvement into a joint activity, sets their mind to educational activity, favors development of independence and initiative of preschool children within the framework of federal state educational standard targets of preschool education.

Nalitkina O.V. ON DEVELOPING MODEL OF APPLYING ONLINE COMPONENT IN SELF-GUIDED FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDIES AT NON-LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITIES // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 8 (185). P. 15-21

The research concerns the problems of applying textbooks with online components in the organization of selfguided work of students learning foreign languages at non-linguistic universities under modern conditions. We believe that the competences described in the Federal State Standard of Higher Education can not be fully developed in students lacking the necessary knowledge of a foreign language after finishing their secondary education. One more relevant problem arises here, the one of the equalization of the initial level of students’ language skills. The institutions of higher education used to solve this problem by running a correction course, but due to the reduction in the amount of contact hours, we believe it is advisable to organize such work outside the classroom. Such changes will require a careful choice of textbooks. Therefore, we suggest applying a model of work with English textbooks having online components in the organization of students’ self-guided work. We analyze the results of the experiment aimed at the approbation of the technique in question and illustrate them by the statistical data obtained by testing the experimental and control groups. We prove that most language skills improve considerably due to the use of computer learning. Moreover, this pedagogical technique contributes to growing motivation and results in developing necessary competences prescribed by the State standard.

Igna O.N., Kulpina A.S. CONTENT AND TARGET ORIENTATIONS OF DOMESTIC TEXTBOOKS ON THE METHODS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE 20-TH CENTURY // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 10 (187). P. 150-154

In the process of contemporary methodical training of inexperienced teachers of foreign languages they use textbooks which were published not only in the present century (XXI), but also in the previous one (XX). As a rule, these manuals are considered to be classical. Nevertheless, such manuals usually have rather different target orientations and content components in comparison with modern ones. Educational literature on methods of foreign language teaching of the second half of the XX century represents particular interest in comparison with the other evolution periods of such kind of educational literature and the development of methods of foreign languages teaching as an independent science in the matter of target aims, content components and used methodological terms. The given article represents the brief description of the most famous and the most popular domestic textbooks on methods of foreign language teaching of the second half of the XXth century. These textbooks can be divided into two categories: 1) the textbooks of the 50s – 70s (L. S. Andreevskaya-Levenstern, O. E. Mikhailova, V. D Arakin, I. M. Berman, B. F. Korndorf, I. V. Rakhmanov); 2) the textbooks of the 80s – 90s (R. K. Minyar-Beloruchev, G. V. Rogova, I. N. Vereshchagina; G. V. Rogova, F. M. Rabinovich, T. E. Sakharova; E. I. Passov, S. F. Shatilov). They have some different and common features.

Trofimova N.A., Shchitova O.G. FRAME MODELING OF THE TERM SEMANTICS OF THE SUBJECT AREA “CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES” IN RUSSIAN // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 4 (222). P. 62-72

Introduction. Modern study of terminologies and term systems are carried out in the aspect of cognitive terminology. Research devoted to the study of the term semantics in the context of cognitive terminology is gaining popularity. The aim of the work is to create frame models of the term semantics of the subject area “Construction Technologies”, to identify the main cognitive categories and subcategories represented by these models and characteristic of construction terminology, as well as the means of their expression. Material and methods. The material for the study is the terms of the sphere of construction technologies, selected from the terminological dictionaries on construction, regulatory documents, educational and scientific literature, as well as catalogues of construction products and professional websites for construction engineers. The research methodology is based on the method of linguistic modeling, frame analysis was used to study the term semantics. The techniques of definitional and component analysis are also used. Results and discussion. The frame modeling of the term semantics of the professional field “Construction technologies” was performed on the basis of the word-formation structure of the derived term. As a result of the analysis of frame models, correlated with the word-forming types, the following cognitive categories in the terminology of the sphere of construction technologies are defined: “process”, “attribute”, “ability / characteristic”, “action”, “object”. The article provides a detailed analysis of the semantics of Russian terms that actualize the cognitive categories “process” and “feature”. Frame models of term semantics are proposed; the frame consists of slots, which are components of the meaning of the term and are represented by various morphemes. The categorical slot is of particular importance as it correlates with the part-of-speech belonging of the term. The following subcategories specify the semantics of the identified cognitive categories: “technology of manufacturing / application of building materials”, “stage of the technological process”, “special construction works / results of these works”, “construction defect”, etc. These subcategories are defined by the specifics of the terminology of the field of construction technologies. Conclusion. As a result of frame modeling the semantics of the terms of the sphere “Construction technologies” and the analysis of the cognitive categories “process” and “attribute”, within each of them, subcategories specific to construction terminology were identified. It was revealed that the most productive way of word formation in the analyzed terminology is suffixation and prefixation. The proposed frame models of terms reflect fragments of scientific knowledge verbalized by special nominations, and frame analysis is an effective method for studying the ways of categorizing scientific information.

Efendiyeva N.R., Poplavskaya I.A. S. YA. MARSHAK AS A TRANSLATOR OF POETRY AND PROSE BY G. RODARI // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2022. Issue 4 (222). P. 137-146

Introduction. The dialogue of Russian and Western European literature, translations of foreign texts and their assimilation in the host culture, the creation of national world images – all these issues are relevant in modern literary criticism, translation studies, and country studies. The aesthetic principles of S. Ya. Marshak in translating the poetry and prose of the Italian writer J. Rodari correspond to his concept of translation-portrait and organically fit into the history of Russian and Italian literature for children in the middle of the 20th century. The purpose of the article is seen in the disclosure of the relationship between the principles of Marshak-translator and their refraction in translations of poetry and prose by J. Rodari, addressed to the child reader. Material and methods. The material of the study is critical articles by S. Ya. Marshak, poems by G. Rodari “What do crafts smell like?”, “Venice” and the prose story-tale “The Adventures of Cipollino”, translated by Z. M. Potapova and edited by S. Ya. Marshak. The work uses receptive and imagological approaches, comparative-typological, comparative-historical and comparative-comparative methods, as well as contextual and content analysis of Rodari’s original works and their Russian counterparts-translations. Results and discussion. There are different types of translations – “address” translation by K. I. Chukovsky, “translation-portrait” and translation-editing by S. Ya. Marshak. In accordance with the poetics of Italian poetry for children and the Italian literary fairy tale, S. Ya. Marshak’s translations of G. Rodari’s poems and the translation-retelling of the story “The Adventures of Cipollino” are analyzed. The folklore origins of Italian children’s literature are revealed, the connection of the fairy tale about the onion boy with the traditions of “commedia dell’arte” and with a fairy tale, the features of the reader’s perception of the child are revealed, the “double” aesthetic position of the author writing for children is comprehended: “adult” consciousness, resurrecting in itself the consciousness and worldview of the child. The translation principles of S. Ya. Marshak-poet and S. Ya. Marshak-prose writer are considered and compared. The role of the works of G. Rodari in the formation of Russian-Italian literary and cultural relationships and in the formation of Russian literature for children is emphasized. Conclusion. The closeness of the translation principles of J. Rodari and S. Ya. Marshak is analyzed, the correlation of the translation strategies of the Russian author with the traditions of Russian translated literature is clarified. The role of S. Ya. Marshak and M. Gorky in the opening of the State Publishing House of Children’s Literature in 1933 is revealed. Introduction. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the synthesis of arts in culture becomes one of the dominant ideas. This orientation fully contributes to the disclosure of the many talents of such a brilliant representative of the Silver Age as M. A.Voloshin. The purpose of this article is to analyze the linguistic and artistic features of the text material accompanying M. Voloshin’s watercolors. Material and methods. The article presents the data of the analysis of lyrical sketches of different years, serving as an accompaniment to M. Voloshin’s watercolors. Attention to this genre is due to its undoubted importance for determining the characteristics of the creative manner of the poet and artist, understanding his worldview. The article uses the methods of semantic-stylistic, contextological, motivational analysis, allowing to reveal the specifics of the author’s poetic picture of the world, reflected in the inscriptions on the watercolors of M. A. Voloshin. Results and discussion. Cimmeria occupies a special place in the work of M. Voloshin – a poet, artist, translator, art critic, thinker. The congeniality of M. Voloshin as a master of brush and word is reflected in his inscriptions for watercolors. These lyrical miniatures are a separate genre dating back to antiquity, which makes the poet’s work related to the art of the East. The figurative structure of M. Voloshin’s poetic miniatures, organizing their semantic space, includes earthly (stone, water) and heavenly (clouds, moon, sun) realities and reveals, when examined in detail, the syncretism of “earthly” and “heavenly”. The color picture of the world, represented by a variety of color images, in combination with sound design, conveys the synesthesia of the author’s perception of the world. The linguistic and figurative structure of M. Voloshin’s poetic sketches is rich and diverse: the author uses numerous comparisons, metaphors, epithets, oxymoric combinations, deviations from grammatical norms, which make it possible to convey the peculiarities of the creative manner of the master-creator. Conclusion. Consideration of the linguistic and artistic features of M. Voloshin’s lyrical miniatures made it possible to identify their main features: metaphoricity, syncretism and synestheticism in creating images, emotive and pragmatic potential of color symbolism – and to draw a conclusion about the originality of the author’s poetic picture of the world.
