| 3851 | Modern Russian education is characterized by the adoption of tutors into general education organizations. It is established that these specialists rarely turn to the practice of supporting a professional identity of schoolchildren, are not ready to carry out this process. The concept of the tutor’s readiness to support the professional identity of schoolchildren is defined. This is a complex personal and professional description of a tutor which includes the awareness of importance of the supporting professional identity of schoolchildren, an interested mood in the creative use of the theory of tutoring in the practice of career guidance work with students, the presence of reflexive abilities that allow timely making adequate decisions in the process of constructing and implementing an individual way of choosing the future profession by tutors. A criterial evaluation system has been developed. It offers a level characterization of the components of the readiness of tutors (motivational, activity, analytical) to support the professional identity of schoolchildren. Based on the analysis of the literature, the expediency of using the powerful resources of intracorporate training for the development of this quality is justified. The system of intracorporate training is simulated, the program of which three meaningful lines are proposed: the legal framework for tutoring; psychological foundations of professional identity of schoolchildren as an object of tutoring; effective technologies of tutoring support of professional identity of schoolchildren. The description of the activity methods of work to improve the professionalism of tutors within the framework of intracorporate training is given. The findings of the authoritative study are presented, demonstrating the need for the development of readiness of tutors to support the professional identity of schoolchildren. The results of the control experiment are interpreted that allow one to assess the impact of internal training on positive changes in all components of tutors’ readiness to support schoolchildren in choosing their future profession. | 3870 | In this article we are talking about linguodidactic and methodical potential of specialized lexicographical sources – dictionaries of slang units. It emphasizes the importance of data dictionaries for a foreign media – secondary language personality, mastering the Russian language as a foreign language. It is emphasized that the introduction of foreigners with dictionaries of jargon and their active use in educational activities, and everyday social and interpersonal communication contribute to effective adaptation of the alien within the Russian linguistic culture, effective development of lexical resources of the modern Russian language. These lexicographical publications are the basis of learning of the Russian youth slang by the foreigners who are actively using them as sources of material collection as the reference books contain extremely valuable information regarding the interpretation of the meaning of words and connotative components of these values. Fixing the unit in slang dictionary suggests mandatory setting of the correct accent, specification of the value, using the contextual features and connotative shades of meaning, which is also largely helps an alien as a secondary language person in his language practice to study Russian as a foreign language. In the course of questionning the informants in the audience of foreign undergraduates from China the author highlighted and justified a number of parameters which determine linguodidactic, didactic and methodological value of this type of dictionaries. | 3871 | The article presents the overview of resources in practical phonetics published in Russia over the period of sixteen years. In this study far from the critical review we conclude the main problems typical for Russian pronunciation training. We found the traditional ways of teaching phonetics and defined their advantages and drawbacks. The article is an attempt at taking a comparative look at the treatment of English tones in a sample of ten teaching resources through the time of sixteen years. The selection of English tones for the analyses is for their notoriety in the context of learning by Russians. After analyzing the teaching resources we found the balanced treatment of segments and suprasegments which is definitely a great advantage of time. Also a positive moment is an equal treatment of pronunciation together with grammar and lexis. However till present days we can state the over-use of drill-like pronunciation activities, where the repetitive and mechanical practice is still the weakness of the analyzed pronunciation materials. Traditional drill-based activities are so far fruitful but the modern way of education demands inclusion of communicative pronunciation-oriented activities in the learning practice. The occasional use of consciousness-raising and self-monitoring activities is still a typical feature of phonetic classes all over Russian universities. It is a strong call for incorporation of confidence building and reflective activities in the pronunciation training. | 3872 | The article considers the way linguistic and cultural knowledge is used in translation and justifies the need to view a translator as a professional native and foreign language user. Similarly, it is important to recognize the specific character of translator’s language knowledge because, firstly, it is a tool in a professional cross-cultural mediation in translation; secondly, it provides the basis for the acquisition, development and functioning of translation skills. An attempt is made to identify the characteristics of translator’s linguacultural knowledge relevant to the process of code-switching, which should be viewed as the switching of linguacultural codes in order to reflect the interlingual and cross-cultural aspects of translation. Based on the analysis of the mental processes and mechanisms of linguacultural switching the following characteristics of translator’s lingualcultural knowledge have been proposed. Chunk-based language knowledge is represented by communicative chunks and communicative contours and is able to improve access, activation and retrieval of linguistic knowledge, error control, the functioning of radiant thinking and spreading activation. Frame-based knowledge of a foreign language creates the framework for probabilistic forecasting, facilitates direct access to conceptual representations in a foreign language, raises its activation level and reduces its dependence on the native language, as well as improving integration of linguistic and conceptual information into semantic memory. Systemic language knowledge means knowing a language as a system of dependencies and connections and ensures distinctness, flexibility and mobility of language knowledge. Language awareness involves the ability to pay attention to language forms, reflect on language, patterns and specific character of its functioning. Such awareness develops the skill of separating two languages and cultures, improves language and error control and prevents linguistic interference. Functional parallelism reflects the type of relationship between two language systems and is made up of systemic, communicative and operational aspects. The last characteristic involves the awareness of the linguistic factors causing breakdowns in code-switching in translation, as well as the ability to predict and deal with such problems. Collectively, the above-mentioned characteristics form the readiness and ability of a translator to code-switch. The development of these characteristics should be made part of professionally oriented foreign language teaching to trainee translators. | 3873 | Subject Olympiads in domestic and world pedagogy are a time-tested means of finding and selecting talented and gifted youth. The request of modern society to educate and nurture creative specialists who are able to think nonlinearly in an uncertain context leads to an appeal to the means of creative competitions and olympiads. In the Russian scientific literature, the term “Olympiad movement” is used in various interpretations, which caused the problem of our research. The purpose of the article is to clarify the scientific and terminological apparatus in the modern context of the development of practices for the implementation of Olympiads. We rely on the principles of systemic, activity, axiological and cultural approaches, based on the author’s pedagogical concept of the implementation of subject olympiads. We mainly use theoretical methods – analysis of scientific literature on the topic, generalization, categorization, modeling. The empirical experience we gained while working with Olympiads also served as the basis of the study, the main methods are observation and conversation. As a result of the study, it was proved that the Olympiad movement is a pedagogical system for the implementation of subject Olympiads in various disciplines, which is implemented in schools and universities, its sociocultural functions and components are determined; we built a model of the Olympiad movement in Russia as well. Scientific novelty is manifested in the clarification of the term “Olympiad movement,” along with the construction of a model of this phenomenon in the domestic theory and practice of implementations of intellectual competitions. The theoretical significance lies in the increment of knowledge in pedagogical theory along with the clarification of the term that is used in the domestic tradition. At a practical level, the results of the study can be used by scientists for future research, as well as to clarify the regulatory framework of a legal nature. | 3891 | Introduction. The article examines the topic of sea travel by Antonin Ladinsky using the example of the collection “Black and Blue”, the first in the poet’s work, in which the main lines of his poetry were formed, further developed in subsequent collections. Aim and objectives: to trace the semantics of sea navigation, taking into account the acmeistic influences on the poet by N. Gumilyov, for whom this topic was one of the main in his work and reflected the basic principles of the acmeistic worldview of the poet. Material and methods. The research methodology assumes a literary interpretation of lyric texts with an understanding of the theoretical foundations of the poetics of acmeism (“alien word”, polyphonic text, dynamic space, etc.). The method of intertextual analysis was also used when comparing texts belonging to different literary eras. Results and discussion. Ladinsky’s work was already the subject of scientific research, the poet’s orientation towards symbolism and acmeism was also noted, the difficulty of attributing his lyrics to any of these modernist movements was indicated. But sea voyage as the central theme of the first collection “Black and Blue” in the context of acmeistic poetics has not yet attracted the attention of researchers. We examined the influence of the Gumilev theme of sea voyages on the lyrics of Ant. Ladinsky in terms of the poet’s polemic with the master of acmeism, the originality of the topic under consideration is revealed in connection with his emigre experience. Conclusion. In the lyrics of Antonin Ladinsky, the sea voyage becomes a reflection of his path as an emigrant, and in this sence he argues with N. Gumilev, whose theme of sailing on the seas has a culturological meaning and reflects the acmeistic principle of cognizing Life through Art. The semantics of sea travel, in the context of acmeistic poetics, allows Ladinsky to say his word to the world, adding his voice to the mighty cultural choir of the singers of the sea. The acmeistic position turns out to be close to him by its earthly nature, and the symbolist one – by the awareness of the powerful force of otherness. Through dialogue with the “alien word”, the poet declares his own experience of mastering the world, which is different from both the Acmeists and the Symbolists. The tragic view of the world, conditioned by the situation of emigration, sounds in the first collection not yet in full force, the acmeistic “acceptance of reality” still has its “inertia”, but the awareness of what happened as a catastrophe and the path to the world of death has already occurred.
