Makarova Z.V. Psycho-physiological Problem in Contemporary Western Philosophy. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2007. Issue 11 (74). P. 72-78

The psycho-physiological problem is still the point at issue in the works on psychology and physiology of Western researchers, scientists and philosophers. During last three decades it has been discussing from different approaches, and such philosophers as Paul M. Churchland, W.Quine and others suggested their alternative solutions of the problem. T.Nigel's conception, disposed towards a materialist approach to the psycho-physiological problem, seems to be the most reasonable theory on the evidence. However more constructive solutions of the psycho-physiological problem have been claimed in philosophical science of this country (D.I.Dubrovskiy's information conception, V.V.Orlov's conception of the physiological nature of mental states and processes, B.I.Bespalov's function-and-structure approach)

The problem of pedagogical goal-setting under the situation of drastic sociocultural changes which require the reformation of educational system is analyzed. Two approaches to the definition of educational goals “education for life” and “education for a human” are scrutinized. The question concerning the role of extra-curricular activities in the system of school education is put by the example of teaching speech and acting techniques in the upper school. The course goals are defined: to surmount the dialectal peculiarities and to improve the speech up to the standard pronunciation; to develop listening and communicative skills in general. The drama element in voice and speech exercises is brought in in order to awaken positive emotions, enthusiasm and to remove muscle spasms. A short performance at the end of the year watched by teachers, parents and students contributes to the development of students’ motivation. The article reveals the ways of implementing the subject approach to the design of the personal development program in the general education organization. The relevance of the problem is justified by the requirements of federal state educational standards for general education, the educational component of which presupposes the design of its own personal development program, taking into account the characteristics of the socio-cultural environment, the needs of the subjects of education. The article shows how to involve children in the process of creating and developing a personal development program, to form a space for self-realization of children on the basis of social design techniques. It is shown that the principle of subjectivity presupposes the organization of educational content, which would be inherently the space of children’s self-determination, would provide children with the opportunity to choose topics for projects, content and activities, roles and social positions in collective activities, forms, methods, time frame, cooperation partners , etc. The article contains approaches to developing a variable personal development program as a system of children’s projects - collective, group, individual. The content of personal development is reflected in the program in the form of thematic cycles of the project activity, which are a set of various types, subjects, duration and composition of project participants with gaming instrumentation, suggest the integration of various types of children’s activities in accordance with the main directions and values of the personal development of students in primary school. The approximate content of project initiatives of children is exemplified on the example of primary general education. Approaches to the evaluation of the results of program implementation based on the subject approach are outlined.

Kryuchkova O.Y. COGNITIVE AND COMMUNICATIVE PECULIARITIES OF RELIGIOUS SUBJECTS DISCOURSE FRAGMENTS IN DIALECT SPEAKERS’ DISCOURSE. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 2 (191). P. 19-26

Study of traditional consciousness and peculiarities of popular culture bearers’ worldview on the material of textual dialect speech corpora is an urgent task of linguistic culturology and cognitive linguistics. Representative textual collections of everyday dialect speech only recently became a source of reconstruction of traditional worldview. The purpose of this work is a study of religious knowledge and ideas role and content in the worldview of dialect speakers. The analysis of religious subjects discourse fragments, picked out of a general speech flow, has shown that the religious component is a significant part of a general world picture and of popular culture bearers’ linguistic consciousness. Reflections on God, Christian saints, orthodox holidays and memorable dates of Church calendar, church services and rituals, religious writings, religious figures, trends and heterodox people, plots of Christian mythology occupy an important place in dialect speakers’ narratives. The notions of religious sphere often become the objects of dialect speakers’ reflection in their conversations with dialectologists. The religious subjects discourse fragments often contain such means expressing reflection as explanatory constructions, repetitions, periphrasis, generalizing (often evaluative) remarks, addresses to interlocutors with the purpose of checking up the degree of speech understanding, rhetoric questions. The communicative peculiarities of religious thematic fragments – increased metalinguistic reflection against a background of a feeble, in general, speech awareness of popular speech culture bearers – show that the elements of religious worldview are an important constituent part of dialect speakers’ cultural identity, occupying a central place in the popular tradition bearers’ value system.

Keywords: traditional popular culture, dialect, world picture, language consciousness, metalinguistic reflection

Snegireva L.I. THE COMPOSITION OF THE POPULATION EVACUATED TO THE WEST SIBERIAN REAR AREA DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 2 (155). P. 38-43

Based on archival materials the article presents the data on the number and proportion of evacuees among the whole population of West Siberia, the proportion of children among the evacuees in West Siberia and the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic as a whole. The analysis of the evacuees’ settlement based on the types of inhabited localities indicates that the main part of them settled in urban localities. Their migration activity was of the highest level. The analysis of the composition of population, which was evacuated to the West Siberia, enables to conclude that women constituted the majority of the population. What concerns the social structure of the arrived population a significant portion of it consisted of workers, engineers and technicians, employees. Diverse ethnic composition was characteristic of the evacuees. A little more than a half of the arrived population consisted able-bodied people. Considering the difficulties and results of employment we came to a conclusion that in this respect a set of West Siberian regions came close to the whole country level, and Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions exceeded the general country level significantly. The article emphasizes that the evacuees as social group was diverse. Within the group there could be distinguished several strata different in their social position.

Stepanov V.I. ABOUT THE STUDENTS’ MOTIVES IN STATE AND PRIVATE HIGHER INSTITUTIONS. Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 1 (190). P. 123-128

The article describes the concept of motivation and motives, explores a naturalistic approach to man, characteristic of the Western tradition studying the motives as «a multifaceted concept that includes: needs, attitudes, interest, habits, motives, desires, inclinations, urges, examines the impact of motivation on learning, the dynamics of motives of choice of profession, the influence of type of school on the motivation of educational activity of students at state and private institutions. It is noted that among the students of a private university clearly prevails the pursuit of knowledge and orientation to a professional career and at the same time a disregard for the degree. We are slightly puzzled by the coincidence of positions of students of both universities in relation to the career of the entrepreneur and the manager. The survey showed that the availability of money with a lack of abilities plays a prominent but not central role in the selection of paid education. The motives of educational activity of students are closely linked with the motives of choice of institution (profession), and with the conditions of professional activities. They are largely determined by the degree of satisfaction with the quality of teaching and training. The study motives of the student youth of non-state and state colleges of higher education suggests that at present the fundamental differences in this area do not exist, largely due to the immaturity of the private sector of higher education. However, research has shown the relationship between the payment for learning and a higher motivation for learning of students of a private college. The students found great interest in his professional career, confidence in their future, there is no doubt that they are faster to adapt to new economic and social realities.
