We consider two types of modifications of Born-Infeld gravity in the Palatini formulation and explore their dynamics in the early universe. One of these families considers f(R) corrections to the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which can be seen as modifications of the dynamics produced by the quantum effects of matter, while the other consists on different powers of the elementary building block of the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which we denote by |Ωˆ|. We find that the two types of nonsingular solutions that arise in the original Born-Infeld theory are also present in these extensions, being bouncing solutions a stable and robust branch. Singular solutions with a period of approximate de Sitter inflation are found even in universes dominated by radiation.

Open ination is a cosmological scenario in which the universe is a vacuum bubble nucleated from false vacuum decay and a period of inationary expansion followed in the nucleated bubble. This scenario is currently receiving renewed interest in the context of the string theory landscape. Since there are a large number of metastable de Sitter vacua in the string landscape, tunneling from one vacuum to another occurs frequently through the bubble nucleation and open ination is naturally realized. We argue that though the universe appears to be very at, a small deviation of омега0 from unity can make the effect of tensor-type perturbations on the large angle CMB anisotropy signicant. Thus we are already testing the string landscape against observations.

The article reveals the nature of the relations between the creative works of poets. Using the lyrical work by Heine “Der Tod, das ist die kühle Nacht” (“Death is the cool night”) as an example, the author explores the peculiarities of reinterpreting of the theme and motif by the creative consciousness of Lermontov that was embodied in the poem “I come out to the path, alone…” as well as their “return” through Rilke’s translation “Einsam tret’ ich auf den Weg, den leeren…” back into the German-speaking cultural space as a new poetic masterpiece.

At this stage of the terminology development, terminologists are particularly interested in studying the terminology of special fields of knowledge using a cognitive approach. The use of frame analysis in terms of this approach makes it possible to present the terminology model of any professional field most successfully. The purpose of the paper is to build a cognitive-frame model of the Russian term system of the field “Open architectural space design” as a fragment of the architectural and design terminology of the professional sphere “Design of architectural environment”. The material for the analysis is more than 680 lexical units of the field “Open architectural space design”, selected using a continuous sampling method from texts of educational, scientific and Internet sources of the specialty “Design of the architectural environment”, architectural design and linguistic dictionaries and reference books. The research methodology is based on general scientific and linguistic methods and techniques: descriptive, comparative methods, methods of classification and linguistic modeling, as well as definitional, contextual and frame analysis. The basic concepts within the framework of the cognitive approach are defined. The interpretation of the terms frame, subframe, slot is presented. The theoretical foundations of frame modeling are highlighted, the frame structure used in the study is justified. A hierarchical cognitive-frame model of the term system “Open architectural space design” is constructed, consisting of three frames: “Urban environment design”, “Landscape design”, “Lighting design”. Within each frame, units of lower levels such as subframes, slots and micro-slots are allocated. Interframe processes have been studied: the relations of intersection within the macroframe “Open architectural space design”, including between units of different levels, as well as the relations of intersection with the macroframe “Interior Design” are revealed. The special role of the frame “Lighting Design” is defined, consisting of general terminology for the macroframes “Open architectural space design” and “Interior design” and specific terms for each of them. The frame model of the term system “Open architectural space design” makes it possible to present a hierarchically organized system of the terminology and identify its intra-system relationships. The results of the research can be useful for terminologists, specialists in the field of architectural environment design, for teaching practice in universities.

The paper presents a linguopoetic analysis of the original and translated texts in terms of the author’s worldview. The emphasis is placed on extra-linguistic factors such as the translator’s system of values in understanding and creative perception of the original. The comparative analysis allows to identify imagery transformations verbalized in the translation and presented in the individual style that reflect the specificity of the Russian Symbolist’s personal interpretation of the individual poetic picture of the world typical for the German Romantic poet. The original and translation of the poetic work are regarded as texts united by a common discursive space of images with variable methods of poetic expression of artistic meanings.

The article explicates components expressed in reproach genre which are marked by gender and have great cognitive value. There were identified core types of determination, value scale, value criteria, main perception channel, cognitive and pragmatic functions, types of emotional correlation and ways of speech intensification. Serial “Deffchonki” was taken as the material for the analysis; special attention was paid to the first part, because it has to involve the spectators into the activity continuum in order to keep their attention and interest up to the end of this serial. The core investigation method is cognitive and semantic analysis. The most valuable for the female components of the world view were discovered. Emotional correlation and attitude were analyzed as well. Pragmatic and value aims were taken into consideration. It was revealed that reproach genre explicates female ideals and attitudes. Both value poles were highlighted. A great number of creative approaches were fixed in female attempts to change psychoemotional atmosphere and interlocutor behaviour. The analysis showed the dominance of visual perception channel. The main function was determined as emotional influence in order to change the interlocutor behaviour. Emotional background is conviction. It was revealed that female position is marked by emotional, affective and dimensional determination. 10 % of content has value-oriented and precedential type of determination.

Currently, higher education at Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is received by persons 17 years and older, among whom there are students with disabilities, gifted students, representatives of different nationalities, cultures, countries and confessions, students from large and small cities of the world, near and remote settlements. All this actualizes the problem of creating an optimal inclusive educational environment at the university. Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University is actively working to create an inclusive educational environment, which is designed to promote the successful socialization of all students studying at the university. Inclusive educational environment is considered by us as a set of resources (means, external and internal conditions) that ensure the realization of the right of every person to education, including training, upbringing and personal development, and is designed on the basis of such principles as safety, saturation, accessibility, etc. The structure of the inclusive educational environment of Tsiolkovskiy Kaluga State University includes spatial-subject, organizational, technological, informational and social components. Each component has its own content. A special place in this structure is assigned to the Center for Inclusive Education. The Center for Inclusive Education, created at the University and designed to provide horizontal links between departments in matters of inclusive education, helps to eliminate inconsistencies in the actions of departments at the same level of hierarchy, which is generated by the strict hierarchy of the university’s Management model. The creation of an inclusive educational environment of the University is carried out in various directions, among which it is possible to highlight the improvement of the local regulatory framework, material and technical equipment, scientific, informational and personnel support for inclusive education, increasing the architectural accessibility of the university infrastructure facilities for students with disabilities, improving the quality of education received by students with disabilities. Modeling of the inclusive educational environment of the university is carried out by all participants of the educational process: administrative staff, teaching staff and students themselves, with the active participation of public organizations. Systematic monitoring of difficulties encountered by students, including students with disabilities in the process of admission and study at the University, allows you to determine the steps to overcome them. Currently, work continues to improve the inclusive educational environment of the university.

The term “the national character of the literary creation” is in the base of our research showing how the language material can reflect peculiar features of a certain culture. Language and culture meet each other with the help of a concept. Usually an interpreter translates only a conceptual component, as a rule ignoring an associative-cultural one. In our work we reveal lexemes which reflect national concepts of Little Russia and analyze English translation of them. On the basis of Little Russian songs from the stories “The fair of Sorochinetz” and “A night in May or drowned maiden” we are revealing lexemes which reflect national Little Russian concepts, which are given in the texts of songs as ethnographic and political realia and analyzing a specific character of their translation into English.

The research project deals with the analysis and description of the axiology of the academic medical discourse in the English language. In relation to our research the concept ‘academic medical discourse’ consists in the following: this type of discourse is scientific communication the aim of which is the concept of detailed transfer of information steps (on the corresponding subject: diagnostics, treatment and recommendation) which needs to be reported, analyzed and discussed for acceptance of the main results. Some examples from the texts of academic medical discourse containing the phraseological units representing opposition ‘good –evil’ have been shown. In this paper research is conducted on the material of contexts of the journal of the American medical association and medical journal of New England. As a result, the concept ‘academic medical discourse’ is considered as scientific communication the aim of which is the concept of detailed transfer of information steps on estimated strategy of diagnostics, treatments and recommendations (see: strategy of all dangers, services of a hospice, correlation of the bill, “grapevine”), exposed to discussion for acceptance of the main results. The analysis of the examples from the texts of academic medical discourse contains phraseological units representing opposition ‘good –evil’. It is claimed that the evaluation presented in the opposition form “good – evil” can be correlated to the use of phraseological units being one of the ways of expression of a positive/negative evaluation in the contexts of academic medical discourse of different linguocultural communities.

The article outlines the various aspects of personal information security in modern pedagogical science and educational practice. The security issue is of great importance among the students due to their social activity increase. The principal approaches such as prohibitive, personal-resource and integrative were considered for understanding of the nature of the personal information security. According to these approaches the personal information security can be described as characteristic of the environment or the individual, or as a way of interaction of the person with the information environment. The classification of information risks was suggested. An efficient development of the personal information security is explained in terms of the hermeneutical and contextual approaches which allow to carry out step-by-step text analysis activities aimed to enhance the process of understanding and meaning-making.

Introduction. The article deals with the vocabulary of the modern journalistic text. The basis for the study are the German-language newspaper articles, which relate to the thematic category “politics”, the content of which reflects the changes in the political life of the country. The method of continuous sampling was the selection of appropriate lexical units from the data sources. The scientific novelty of the research consists in understanding the processes occurring in the word formation of the modern German language. Material and methods. Newspaper lexemes are the object of study. The goal-setting criterion in the work is the word-formation analysis of language material. In this regard, the most productive in modern German language turned out to be such methods of word-formation as word composition and word production. The revealed structural types of composites, a detailed description of their composition occupy a significant place in the work. The frequency components of such vocabulary in modern newspaper political texts are anglicisms. Internal bonding mechanisms influence the formation of the complex structure of composite units. In addition, the authors made an attempt to more or less generalize the semantics of the words that form the composites. The word-formation characteristic of the political newspaper lexicon takes into account the part of speech of the lexical units inherent in some grammatical features. The subject of research in the work, along with complex words, are also derived lexemes. Among them, derivative nouns as well as verbs predominate. Affixes, most of which are suffixes, are frequency ones. The methodological component of this study includes as the main method of component analysis, the method of wordformation models, descriptions. In summing up the results of the study, a quantitative method was used. Conclusion. The results of the study show the dominant position of the compound words revealed in the Germanlanguage political newspaper vocabulary. Borrowings from English are productive. Presented in General, the scientific justification can be used in the course of lexicology of the German language. The data obtained as a result of the study can be used in the preparation of analyses and reviews of trends in the development of modern German word formation. In conclusion, the prospects for further development of issues related to the word-formation specifics of the German-language journalistic vocabulary are outlined.

Spatial Mobility anSPATIAL MOBILITY AND SPIRITUAL OSCILLATIONS: ESTRANGEMENT OF DIASPORIC FEMALES IN MULBERRY AND PEACH AND SEARCHING FOR SYLVIE LEEd Spiritual Oscillations: Estrangement of Diasporic Females in Mulberry and Peach and Searching for Sylvie Lee. Introduction. The problems of awareness of life difficulties, psychological needs and anxieties of women of the Asian diaspora, as well as their survival strategies are studied. Material and methods. This paper takes a comparative literature approach and textual close reading methods to interpret two novels written by Chinese overseas female writers. Results and discussion. Both Nieh Hualing’s Mulberry and Peach (1981) and Jean Kwok’s Searching for Sylvie Lee (2019) depict the diasporic experiences of female fictional characters in war times and peaceful contemporary era respectively. Even if the dates of publication of the two novels are across nearly half a century, there are a number of identical elements between them. For instance, both female protagonists suffer from constant cross-border movements, estrangement, even schizophrenia. This paper endeavors to tackle the problems that firstly why female diasporas fall into the estrangement predicament through ceaseless transnational movements, then what are the dialectical relations of spatial mobility and estrangement, and lastly how and why they forge the alternating personality and fluid identity. Conclusion. Through analysis, it concludes that the ceaseless spatial mobility experiences prompt the diasporic protagonists to estrange from their family, culture and self. Furthermore, spatial mobility and estrangement interplay between each other, and finally leading to diasporic women’s dual personalities, which can be seen as both the predicament and the survival strategies of those diasporas. That is to say, the flexible and fluid personality or identity is a request for them to survive in foreign countries. It is hoped that the discussion on those protagonists’ survival tactics will shed light on the exploration of the possible strategies to better the diasporas’ living conditions.
