| 5307 | The article explains the choice of the empirical material as the cognitive-discursive research of written texts – compositions, which is a component of the Russian Unified State Exam on the Russian language. The key point of the author is that the modeling potential of these speech patterns allows creating an invariant of a high school graduate worldview picture. The modeling direction within the given research gives a reconstruction of the represented in a system of certain frames worldview of the modern high school child in the aspect of the axiological characteristics. The text, reflecting in itself a fragment of the world picture is the richest material for the researcher wishing to analyze not only the originality of the author’s position on this or that question, his or her creative potential, but also a system of the author’s signature style evaluations, and also priorities in a foreshortening of axiological preferences. It is noted that the formation of the high school graduate worldview is carried out in difficult historical and socio-cultural conditions, on the one hand because of the economic and political changes which happened during the last decades in Russia and the world, on the other hand because of the world values shift in the society and, as a result, contradictions in an axiological paradigm of different generations representatives. The conclusion is that, despite the presence of templates affiliation in the processes of writing and evaluation of these works by the experts, the graduates compositions accurately present the world values, that are determined primarily by the age and the social factors. | 5308 | Introduction. The problems of awareness of life difficulties, psychological needs and anxieties of women of the Asian diaspora, as well as their survival strategies are studied. Material and methods. This paper takes a comparative literature approach and textual close reading methods to interpret two novels written by Chinese overseas female writers. Results and discussion. Both Nieh Hualing’s Mulberry and Peach (1981) and Jean Kwok’s Searching for Sylvie Lee (2019) depict the diasporic experiences of female fictional characters in war times and peaceful contemporary era respectively. Even if the dates of publication of the two novels are across nearly half a century, there are a number of identical elements between them. For instance, both female protagonists suffer from constant cross-border movements, estrangement, even schizophrenia. This paper endeavors to tackle the problems that firstly why female diasporas fall into the estrangement predicament through ceaseless transnational movements, then what are the dialectical relations of spatial mobility and estrangement, and lastly how and why they forge the alternating personality and fluid identity. Conclusion. Through analysis, it concludes that the ceaseless spatial mobility experiences prompt the diasporic protagonists to estrange from their family, culture and self. Furthermore, spatial mobility and estrangement interplay between each other, and finally leading to diasporic women’s dual personalities, which can be seen as both the predicament and the survival strategies of those diasporas. That is to say, the flexible and fluid personality or identity is a request for them to survive in foreign countries. It is hoped that the discussion on those protagonists’ survival tactics will shed light on the exploration of the possible strategies to better the diasporas’ living conditions. | 5309 | Introduction. The contents and linguistic-didactic potential of the new linguistic trend are studied in the article from the viewpoint of functional-stylistics. Aim and objectives – developing the ideas of N. A. Kupina and T. V. Matveeva, the founders of creative stylistics, and extending of its problematic. Material and methods. M. N. Kozhyna, N. A. Kupina, T. V. Matveeva, M. P. Kotyurova and others served as the theoretical material for the article; fragments of texts, which represent the creativity of their authors, served as empirical material. The research uses functional-stylistic and interdisciplinary approaches that analyze speech creativity in its extralinguistic causality. Results and discussion. The article reveals that the rise of creative stylistics as an independent area of speech studies was caused by M. N. Kozhina’s ideas on the differentiation between linguistic and verbal expressions. The links of creative stylistics with a number of disciplines united by anthropocentric paradigm are discussed, that is: resource stylistics, linguistic-pragmatics, discourse theory, etc. The tasks of creative stylistics are specified with the authors taking into account N. A. Kupina’s and T. V. Matveyeva’s conception. In the article the authors present the specificity of creative component in functional varieties of written speech: artistic, media, scientific and official texts. The authors find that creativity relates not only to surface layer but also to the semantic layer of the text, that diversity of manifestation depends on the functional, stylistic and discursive parameters of speech. The authors provide the examples of both productive and non-productive use of creative media in the texts of network literature, media and advertising. The authors point out that creativity in scientific texts is connected with the nature of cognitive activity, that creativity manifests itself through intellectual expressiveness while presenting new knowledge, that the scientist’s individual speech style influences the presentation. In the official sphere, creativity is associated with the emergence of new interactive forms of communication between administration and community and it is found primarily in non-documentary genres. Based on the achievements of creative pedagogics, the objectives and contents of adjacent applied disciplines (didactics, speech culture etc.) are adjusted to the necessity of forming a creative linguistic personality (in demand in the modern society). It is stated that the complex approach to language teaching, including verbal-semantic, cognitive and pragmatic-stylistic components of didactics helps to respond to the challenge. Conclusion. The interpretation of creativity with extralinguistic and discursive factors of communication being taken into account fits in the paradigm of modern speech studies and provides wide opportunities for creative stylistics in the research of the creative component of speech activity in all its diversity. | 5321 | Asya Petrova is a modern St. Petersburg writer who is actively working in the genre of “school” story. Asya Petrova’s stories address an important question: why is it impossible or unsuccessful for a teenager to communicate with peers or adults? A related question: should a teenager distinguish between “own” circle of family / friends and a “wide” social circle of communication and, in accordance with this, choose a type of speech behavior? The choice of Asya Petrova’s works as a material for analysis is due to the fact that in most cases the writer finds for her characters the possibility of a positive resolution of conflicts; the finals of works are open to the future. Particular attention is paid to the story «Who says what – it doesn’t matter», since this work can be recommended to the teacher for a joint discussion with pupils in grades 6 or 7. The purpose of this article is to identify ways to solve the communicative failures of the heroes offered by Asya Petrova. The existential problems of the characters (the desire to “just say” and the feeling of the impossibility of this action) are realized in the same type of conversation situation. These situations mark the stages of plot development. The methodological basis of the study includes, in addition to the traditional system-structural concept of the artistic world of the work and the plot as part of the chronotope, the theory of the subjective organization of the narrative. Based on the concept of the dialogic word M.M. Bakhtin, methods of organizing the speech level are analyzed; in the study of errors and failures of dialogues, the theory of discourse formations of V.I. Tyupa is involved. The features of the genre of “school” story are taken into account. As a result, five stories by Asya Petrova are considered, offering several possible options for establishing communicative contacts between a teenager and people around him. The general invariant is the hero’s overcoming of isolation on himself, the emergence of a desire to help other people. In addition, the author declares the independence of the child’s personal statement, not subject to double communicative standards. The conclusions point to the significance of such a trend in modern teenage literature, which successfully combines psychologism in revealing the characters’ images and the author’s game strategies. The practical significance is seen in drawing attention to an actively writing modern author, who is still outside the attention of researchers in children’s and adolescent literature. | 5339 | The paper outlines the types of discourse-pragmatic functions and kinds of propositional-semantic content associated with the Loc-marked Agent constructions in Eastern Khanty. Selected methodology includes contrastive morpho-syntactic and contextual analysis of the narrative corpus, attending to the information structure and linguistic meta-data. Based on discourse analysis, it is hypothesized, that a wide cognitive faculty facilitating the structuring of information and specifying the roles of the participants, governs the choice of grammatical means, i.e. the construction types. It follows from the analysis of pragmatic, semantic and grammatical features of interacting discourse participants that specific system’s grammatical resources identify with certain pragmatic-semantic properties. The Loc-Agent constructions are prototypically used to express the events with more than one argument with competing topicality. The Loc-Agent constructions (agented passive and “ergative”) manifest a parenthetical shift in centrality of the discourse referents, where a secondary topic referent is competing with the primary agentive topic. This is expressed by temporary promotion of the secondary topical referent to the Loc-marked S grammatical relation. N.V. Polyakova. | 5345 | The existence of K-instantons on a cylinder M7 = Rт x K/H over a homogeneous nearly Kahler 6-manifold K/H requires a conformally parallel or a cocalibrated G2-structure on M7. The generalized anti-self-duality onM7 implies a Chern-Simons ow on K/H which runs between instantons on the coset. For K-equivariant connections, the torsionful Yang-Mills equation reduces to a particular quartic dynamics for a Newtonian particle on C. | 5349 | This article provides an evolutionary approach to the linguistic problem of encoding and interpretation of a conceptual content by means of body part names in the Old Russian and the Old English languages. Applying the category analysis to word semantics in diachrony enables us to decode the primary links between words and concepts that these words denote. The diachronic study of lexical semantics provides explicational potential, revealing recurring tendencies and the prospects for meaning generation and development. The lexicographic data of the Indo-European proto-language create the necessary basis to determine the ways semantic categories of objectivity, quality, quantity, space, and time can adapt and transform in the Slavic and the Anglo-Saxon linguistic consciousness. The comparative analysis of the Old Russian and the Old English body part names and their proto-Indo-European roots adds clarity to the processes of category transition and semantics formation. The semiotic complexity of human body contributes to the expansion of the objective space of body part names by means of incident semantics. The conducted research correlates the inventory of the Old Russian and the Old English somatic fragments with their Indo-European reflexes. The results testify to the dynamic nature of categories in the evolution of lexical semantics, indicating the vectors of semantic change.
