| 5852 | The paper deals with the issue of the professional communicative competence that is essential for the engineering specialists and academics to participate in the international scientific conferences. This is important, as the inadequate level of the English language, specifically, with regard to the academic writing and academic communication skills is considered one of the factors hindering the transition of Russian universities into the global research and education community. The focus of attention is the rapidly developing field of composite materials and technologies. The author proposes using a multi-level approach to forming the professional English communicative skills in the engineering university, which includes an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course for academics. The specifics of the approach are illustrated by a case of Russia-UK conferences in the field of advanced materials. The paper presents the analysis of the international scientific collaboration and the excerpts from the survey of the prospective learners at the “Spacerocket composite structures” department at Bauman Moscow State Technological University. The data served as the basis for the needs assessment procedure, which, in turn, was used to formulate the goals and objectives and select the linguistic and functional content for the course. The ESP course had a positive impact on the international research activity of the department, in particular, the increase in the number of post-graduate students participating in the international conferences. | 5853 | According to the Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education (FSES DO), one of the main results of mastering the educational program is the formation and development of verbal communication skills and the prerequisites for mastering literacy, which is the key to the success of the child’s personality in further schooling. This set of skills in modern science has been transformed into the concept of speech readiness for school. The development of the system of inclusive preschool education in Russia has highlighted the problem of creating an effective system for developing speech readiness for school within a group of a combined type of kindergarten, which has actualized the problem of the study and determined the setting of its goal. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the formation of speech readiness for school in children with special needs in a group of combined orientation of a preschool educational institution (hereinafter referred to as preschool educational institution). The following research methods were used: observation method, diagnostic tasks, analysis of children's activity products. The level of speech development was assessed using diagnostic materials in accordance with the methodology for monitoring the pedagogical process by N.V. Vereshchagina. The study was conducted on the basis of the Municipal Autonomous Preschool Educational Institution of Combined Kindergarten No. 99 in Tomsk from 2020 to 2023. During this period, monitoring of the speech development of children was carried out from the moment of admission to a children's educational institution at the age of 4 years until graduation at the age of 6–7 years. The total composition of the group included 25 people, of which 5 were people with special educational needs (hereinafter referred to as SEN), having levels 2 and 3 of general speech underdevelopment (GSD). In accordance with the individual characteristics of each child, adaptive speech development programs were developed, which were implemented in close cooperation between the teacher and specialized specialists: a speech therapist, a speech pathologist, a psychologist, using the principle of open door technology. Speech development was monitored twice a year. The novelty of the study lies in the proposed approach to the formation of an individual adaptive program for each child, as well as the description of the stages of its implementation by the teacher of the combined group. It was concluded that it is possible to effectively correct general speech underdevelopment in the context of inclusive education, provided that an individual route and program is developed for each child, as well as the availability of highly qualified specialists, including speech therapy skills of the teacher of a preschool educational institution. | 5870 | Introduction. The nomadic peoples of the North, belonging to the Arctic world, can be regarded as a unique result of the dynamics of earthly civilization. For many centuries, they managed to preserve a peculiar way of life and a nomadic life arrangement as the basis for the evolution of the Arctic culture. Today, specialists are concerned about the traditional cultural norms and values, ethnic characteristics of the peoples of the northern territories, which have been partially lost by the present time, which have been established for centuries. The purpose of the article is to characterize the upbringing process in the modern nomadic Arctic region. Research methods: analysis of pedagogical literature, study of normative documentation in the educational sphere, systematization of the experience of preschool and general education organizations in Yakutia; involved surveillance; questioning; expert assessment; implementation of the results obtained in pedagogical practice. Results and discussion. The process of creating an upbringing space for a preschool nomadic structure, a nomadic general educational organization, an Arctic region with nomadic settlements have been analyzed. It has been substantiated that the upbringing space of a nomadic preschool educational structure is considered as an environment, the mechanism of (self) organization of which is goal-oriented and value-oriented meetings between a teacher and a child, pedagogical events with the participation of children, parents and other adults that are significant for a child. Conclusion. The process of upbringing of schoolchildren-northerners can be represented by a logical sequence, expressed in the form of a chain scheme-of family, community, preschool and school upbringing. The scheme can be disseminated into different territorial entities. The nomadic way of life being revived today must have legal legitimacy, justified by the current state legislation, and be recognized as a free choice by each northerner of his life path. | 5872 | Introduction. The article discusses the possibility of forming a literary type of speech culture of undergraduates with the help of personal reflection, which allows students to realize themselves as a linguistic person, identify and analyze models of communicative behavior and the possibility of changing them. At the same time, the experience of conflict between the established way of speech behavior and its change in order to improve communication is not suppressed, but exacerbated and leads to the mobilization of the resources of the linguistic personality to achieve the solution of communicative tasks. Personal reflection performs the function of self-determination of the individual in the process of realizing that communication as a sphere of human existence can change and thereby affect the quality of attitudes in society. The author substantiates the need to actualize the reflexive mechanism in learning as a key quality of the bearer of the literary type of speech culture, according to the classification of O. B. Sirotinina, I. A. Sternin. Aim and objectives. Analysis of the influence of the factor of personal reflection in teaching on improving the level of speech culture of university students. Material and methods. Further, the article presents the educational and methodological experience of the formation of the literary type of speech culture of undergraduates in the course of studying the discipline «Speech culture of academic and professional interaction». The examples of practical work with students to improve the communicative qualities of speech as components of speech culture through introspection are described. Based on the analysis of the value attitude of students to the communicative qualities of speech and the classification features of the carriers of the literary type of speech culture, the problematic aspects of its formation are identified. Results and discussion. The result of the study is the identification of the most vulnerable places in the formation of speech culture: these are such significant qualities of speech as purity and expressiveness. The main factor in the violation of the purity of speech is the loyal attitude of students to obscene language. The article describes the experience of changing the attitude towards the use of invectives in the course of reflection. Analysis of the use of obscene language in the personal language practice of students, its functions in speech and the negative impact on communication changes the attitude towards the use of foul language, leads to an understanding of the need for its limited use. Violation of purity, in turn, is associated with a violation of the expressiveness of speech. An important understanding of the need to develop this quality becomes, firstly, students’ awareness of the influence of expression and imagery of speech on the addressee, and secondly, understanding the individuality of the image as an expression of the speaker’s personality, personal experiences, feelings, impressions. Conclusion. The article concludes that an important task of using reflection is the task of self-development, the identification of personal language problems and speech deficiencies and the possibility of working with them in the future in order to form a literary type of speech culture. | 5878 | Introduction. The appeal of representatives of the literary creativity of the Silver Age to the problem of wandering is due to concern for the fate of Russia and the search for opportunities to transform the world, as well as ways of self-determination. For the thinker, poet, artist M. A. Voloshin, the concept of “wandering” is the key. The purpose of this article is to identify the linguistic features of the embodiment of the concepts “wandering”, “wanderer” in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin. Material and methods. The article presents the data of free associative and directed associative experiments aimed at revealing the perception of the concept of “wandering” by modern native speakers of the Russian language; data from various dictionaries reflecting the meaning of the lexemes “wandering”, “wanderer”; the results of the analysis of M. Voloshin’s poems of different years, reflecting the concept of “wanderer”. The methods of experiment, semantic-stylistic, contextological, motivic analysis are used, which allow revealing the features of the content and perception of the concepts “wandering”, “wanderer”, reflected in the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin. Results and discussion. Associative experiments conducted to identify the signs of the concept of “wandering” showed a broader understanding of the respondents about this phenomenon than is reflected in the explanatory dictionaries. The experiment made it possible to identify the attitude of modern native speakers to the phenomenon of wandering and compare it with the understanding of this phenomenon by the author, judging by the representation in the lyrics of M. A. Voloshin. Unsettledness, anxiety for the future of the country at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries determined the interest of representatives of the creative intelligentsia in the problem of wandering. The thematic zone “wandering”, including the concepts “path”, “wanderer”, “spiritual wanderings”, occupies a central place in M. Voloshin’s lyrics. The lyrical hero is an eternal wanderer, inquisitive, thirsty for knowledge, filially attached to Mother Earth; Odysseus, cut off from his native shores, wandering and restless; experiencing the pain of separation lover; a person who, as a result of trials, came to a higher understanding of life – gratitude to her for the persistence of pain, the bitterness of earthly herbs, the causticity of salt; finally, the chosen one, who renounced the joys of earthly life in the name of a higher destiny. Conclusion. An analysis of the linguistic and artistic features of the lyrical texts of M. Voloshin, containing the concept of “wandering”, which is central in the poet’s lyrics, made it possible to identify the main features of the lyrical wanderer hero (restlessness, inquisitiveness in knowing the world, unity with Mother Earth, the search for one’s destiny), and to draw a conclusion about the originality of M. Voloshin’s concept sphere. Keywords: M. A. Voloshin, concept, conceptual picture of the world, wanderer, wandering, associative experiment, Silver Age | 1792 | |||||
| 5879 | Non-homogeneous (polycode, polymodal, multimodal) texts have long become part of modern communication (both media and official business). The requirement for mandatory communication of official authorities, public and party organizations with the population in a virtual environment has given rise to official portals of regional governments, ministries at various levels, and city administrations. These virtual objects are institutional because they have a discursive orientation, specific means of information transfer and communication design. The communicative-activity approach is applicable to the texts contained on the official portals of the city administration (in this article we are talking about the virtual portal of the Administration of Omsk Omsk. rf, located at: https://www.admomsk.ru/web/guest/main). The purpose of the article is to evaluate the ways of transmitting information, organizing communication with different age and social groups of the addressee in terms of the manifestation in them of visual, verbal, multimodal regulators that implement communicative and cognitive models of the virtual institutional environment. Material for this study: texts posted on the virtual portal of the administration of the city of Omsk (Omsk. rf.). The research methodology includes two stages: 1. Evaluation of visual, verbal, multimodal regulators, their communicative orientation in terms of expressing communicative and cognitive models of the virtual institutional discursive environment; 2. Identification of texts aimed at certain social and age groups of addressees, establishing their informational, semantic, communicative, cognitive composition as an environment for forming the image of the addressee and addressee. The main results of the analysis of the form and content of the portal showed the following. The portal structure includes a typical navigation frame with a fairly simple system of linear vertical and horizontal links. The content level is represented by interconnected verbal and visual components. Their different ratio in different parts of the content, the quality and quantity of inhomogeneous units is due to the goals of the section (transmission of information / impact on the emotive, aesthetic sphere of the addressee), the relevance of the information contained for the addresser and addressee. The communicative and cognitive levels form verbal and visual communicative and cognitive models that convey a predominantly regional formation, affecting the emotional sphere of an addressee that is indefinite in social, gender, age terms - a city resident, establishing an interactive connection with the latter. The communicative-activity approach to a non-homogeneous text of an institutional type - the official portal of the Administration of the city of Omsk, showed a variety of means of communication (visual and verbal), one-sidedness of communication, typical for virtual objects of this level. The method of designating a collective addresser is indicated in the name of the portal through an indication of ownership (portal of the Administration of Omsk), corresponds to the legal norms of institutional discourse. The category of the addresser is specified at the factual level in the part of the portal “Administration” with the help of the Mayor’s personal page, description of the Mayor’s office, legal grounds for activity, etc. The addresser’s communication is focused on a regionally limited collective addressee - residents of Omsk (Omsk). Less often, the addressee is limited by territory, age, social group. The category of the addressee in the texts of the portal is expressed by indirect means - the names of age social, gender and other groups and their representatives in the headings of the content and within the texts that fill it. Special appeals to an indefinite addressee are single, associated with current events in the city, weather, etc. The structure of the horizontal-vertical links of the portal’s navigation frame, the “duplication” of the content components in the header and footer parts direct the addressee’s attention to the hyperlinks he needs, ensuring comfort and utility of perception. But the titles of these hyperlinks do not reveal the impactful (emotive, expressive, aesthetic) strategies that are found in a number of pieces of content. They are implemented using a variety of static and dynamic infographics, they are found only after opening a hyperlink. The leading means of polycode, polymodal, multimodal implementation of the informing strategy are the thematic, logical, plot-compositional levels of the content of the portal as a whole, texts in its parts. The nominations of hyperlinks and the leads of the texts contained in them, together with the photographs accompanying the links, perform the functions of attracting the reader’s attention and informing. The portal contains a multifaceted system of regulators due to the multimodal nature of this virtual object. The system includes: explicit visual (horizontal) regulators that attract and localize the attention of the addressee with the help of color, size, location in the space of the portal interface, creating contrast, meaning a certain topic, problem, information or supplementing it; visual vertical regulators associated with calls for specific actions; visual hidden regulators (photos, infographics - photo report, photo report, photo story, photo tour, performing the functions of influencing the emotional and aesthetic spheres of the recipient’s perception; diagrams, graphs, drawings, tables, performing the functions of concentrating a large amount of information, illustrating, simplifying perception), the existence of which is found only after opening hyperlinks; explicit verbal horizontal and vertical regulators that nominate sections of content, hyperlinks, etc., conveying mainly information and through it by lexical, stylistic (a combination of neutral, special and colloquial vocabulary), digital, graphic (font, underlining, color highlighting) means that implement “anchoring” the attention of the addressee; polymodal regulations (video about the professional activities of employees of the City Administration, the mayor, city utilities). | 5888 | In modern literary studies in the context of globalization processes “mass culture” is less criticized as something “low” in relation to “elite”. Mass literature claims equal rights with any other literature in connection with the latest discourse of relativism and pluralism, when there is no consistent hierarchy of literary values. Moreover, popular literature increasingly becoming better and more inventive. However, these processes also lead to the erasure of cultural identity, in particular national and religious, as shown in the article on the example of the Christian novel by William Paul Young “The Shack”. The novel significantly deviates from the norms of the biblical Canon in matters of the value of the Church, Scripture, the image of God, the concept of hierarchy, and this deviation is associated with such global processes as multiculturalism, democracy, individualism, liberalism, etc. For example, instead of addressing the Church and the Bible, the main character receives a note from God for a personal audience, during which God appears before him in the image of a large black woman. The mass popularity of the novel around the world testifies to the crisis of modern religious identity, as it is positioned as a Christian, and in fact is heretical. The object of scientific description is the semantics of somatisms as markers of national identity, which receives conceptual comprehension in connection with its study in the aspect of genre-discursive originality of lyric songs. Aim and objectives. The aim of the research is to study the somatic code, explicated by the lexeme-somatism head in the folklore fragment of the Russian picture of the world, taking into account the genre-discursive conditionality of the functioning of this lexeme. Material and methods. 127 texts of Russian folklore lyric songs containing the lexeme-somatism head, selected by continuous sampling from a collection of lyric songs were used as the research material. The main research methods are observation methods, quantitative analysis, lexical-semantic analysis, elements of discourse and conceptual analysis are used. Results and discussion. The starting point of the study was the thesis that somatisms have not only linguistic, speech, but also linguoculturological and linguo-cognitive status. Somatisms are rightfully defined as linguistic markers of the cultural code of Russian identity and a fragment of the national picture of the world. In the meaning of most Russian somatisms, there is a pronounced national-cultural component of meaning. The lexeme-somatism head belongs to the content of especially significant somatisms, since in the linguistic picture of the world it implements conceptual concepts that are important for understanding the mentality of the Russian people: «the owner of the family» (at the head of the family), «the main person in the house» (at the head of the table), «trait of a national character” (rave head), etc. These interpretations have the specificity of implementation in lyric songs of different genre and discursive nature. The last parameter is defined as extralinguistic, related directly to the thematic content of each specific text. The last parameter is defined as extralinguistic, related directly to the thematic content of each specific text. Among the genre varieties of lyric songs are analyzed love, family, military, workers, anticlerical, coachman, burlak lyric songs, songs about village holidays, about everyday life. The study also revealed common features that reflect the functioning of the head somatism in the lyric songs in general. These features are due to a special kind of lyricism: penetration, reflexivity, heightened feelings of the author, the ultimate subjectivism of the narrative. Conclusion. The study of somatisms in the aspect of their culturological marking makes it possible to identify the specifics of their semantics, pragmatics and functioning in texts of different genre and discursive orientation. The interpretation of the somatic code of Russian culture by means of an analysis of somatisms is deepened and objectified in the context of the genre-discursive approach. | 5892 | The poet-governors’ creation in the classical medieval Azerbaijani literature is considerably allocated and made out in a special direction as the poetokratic literature. The actually of research is in the formation of the problem of the poetic governor’s psychological portrait in the native language’s classical poetry (Ghazi Burkhaneddin, Jahanshakh Hagigi, Shakh Ismayil Khatayi, Molla Panah Vagif), shown in differential lines in the lyrical hero’s characteristic, in the analysis of ideologically-aesthetic value of this phenomenon which practically does not have analogues in the world literature. Ghazi Burkhaneddin (1344–1398) as one of the first founders of the given literature has displayed and has sung in its divan (the collection of lyrical verses) of the poet-governor’s heroic image. Well-known both in Azerbaijan and in all Near East as the religion scientist, the commander, the governor and the poet, it is one of the first lyric poets in the Azerbaijanian poetry. The questions demanding a parity of creative humanism and activity on government are contrasting to the portrait of the hero of this poetry. The love to Turkic culture which found its reflection in brillian Nizami Ganjevi’s works, has made an essential impact on formation of the image of Turkic hero in Kazi Burhaneddin’s lyrics. Besides, rulling the state, which he himself created, he has practically realized the great Nizami’s dreams about the ideal governor. The history of the world literature has proved that in cases when the powerfull governor as well turned out to be a talented poet, his lyrical hero fought for the rights and freedom of his people with more courage. | 5893 | The article focuses on describing the ways of revealing a phenomenon of “inner man” in conceptual space of the image of Anglo-Saxon epic hero. Despite the fact that revealing the hero’s “inner self” doesn’t fit within an epic genre framework it is not alien to Anglo-Saxon culture. The epic genre illustrates that feelings and emotions can be disclosed on other levels and by other means unlike contemporary interpretation of the phenomenon. The specific character of archaic folklore mentality can’t but influence the process of understanding and revealing the inner world of an epic hero through his actions and external manifestations. The inner space of the image of the epic hero is viewed in the light of the action approach which is coherent with the genre intention and functional meaning of the image in the culture framework. | 5895 | Introduction. There exists a tendency for distinguishing objective and subjective matters in the Russian sentence meaning contents aspectual zone. The latter area includes interpretive meanings, such as visibility, surprise, distance between interlocutors, social and other types of status differences between interlocutors, elimination of responsibility for action, etc., identified in recent years by Russian and foreign aspectologists. However, in this perspective, the high-speed interpretation of the action displayed in the statement has not yet been investigated. The article is devoted to the interpretive function of the verb aspect in its new speech manifestations, not included in the pragmatic potential of the verb aspect – retardation and acceleration of the depicted action. Retardation is understood as an artificial slowdown in the image of the development of an action and is based on the concept of an action phase. The acceleration of the action is understood as the inducement of the interlocutor to the accelerated start of the commission of the named action or the early signaling of the end of the action that has not actually completed. The Slavic languages as such differ to a large extent from the languages of other groups in the subtle elaboration of the phases of the implementation of the action. Specifically, the Russian language has a variety of linguistic means of designating phaseness, both morphological and syntactic. The aspect of the verb is also involved in this semantic sphere, and the change of aspect tense forms can lead to individual modeling of the situation and certain types of influence of the speaker on the interlocutor, which are considered in this work. Material and methods. The work is based on real colloquial dialogues of so-called replying type including the above-mentioned phenomenae as having the most solid internal semantic and compositional links. The data was analysed semantically and syntactically with using some modeling principles. The main goal is revealing and representing the psycholinguistic conditions for appearing and forming the above mentioned senses as well the frame for their use in modern discourse. Results and discussion. Analysis of structure and varying internal links of real colloquial dialogues allowed to reveal the main list of typical situations for expressing the senses of Action Retardation and Acceleration taking semantic preposition and postposition into consideration. Thus, their inclusion into Verbal Imperfective Pragmaticon has been substantiated. The analysed meanings’ forming the binary opposition makes the sideline result. Conclusion. The research resulted in widening the Imperfective verb’s pragmatic sphere boundaries.
