This allows to analyze the specificity of creative self-determination of the author during emigration. It is in “The Wayfarer” that the change of anthropological bases of female images in Zaitsev’s prose was first detected. In the novel “The House in Passy” the writer reproduces the characteristic types of emigrants and of indigenous French women. Female image loses its mystical air, mythological allusiveness, philosophical “sophiological” context, present in the early prose of the author. | 5910 | The article is focused on the main historical stages of formation of ideologeme ‘self-government’. The content and functions of ideologeme are very conservative and determined by the peculiarities of culture. It is supposed that the cyclicity of the USA development affects the relevance of the discussed ideologeme. This article presents a try to divide the history of formation of ideologeme into periods that characterize it from the perspective of the dominant semiotic function. The American presidents’ speeches since the 1930s have been analyzed to this end. In different political times the presidents of the USA appeal to certain values. The author comes to the conclusion that the popularity of self–government is indicative of the confrontation of conservative and liberal ideologies. During the history of the USA the ideologeme ‘self–government’ has been developed in involutional way. | 5912 | The presented scientific work is aimed to show how effective is the use of interactive applications, including ActivInspire in Math lessons in schools of a special type, in this case schools in the colony. This article discusses key characteristics of interactive applications using the example of ActivInspire software. In addition to the technical features of interactive applications, the psychological aspects of the personality of prisoners in school are also studied and analyzed in detail. On the basis of this analysis, the importance and urgency of using interactive applications in the middle general school in the colony was proved. The described in detail experiment that was conducted in the municipal state educational institution of the evening shift school in Tomsk, clearly shows the growth in the quality of the acquired knowledge on a specific topic “Equations” in the Mathematics class in eighth grades. The purpose of the article is to summarize the pedagogical experience in integrating the situational problem solving method (case method) into the educational process and to identify its advantages and limitations. The study is based on the empirical experience of application of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the educational process at the Faculty of Innovative Technologies of Tomsk State University within the subject “Professional Communication in English”. In the paper, the authors rely on the principles of system-activity and competency-based approaches. The experimental use of the situational problem solving method (case method) in the process of teaching English for professional purposes proved not only the great interest of students in this type of creative work, but also the importance of using this method in the educational process. This method contributes to the development of students’ critical thinking, their ability to apply knowledge in new situations, and the development of students’ creativity and intellectual abilities. Presenting the results of solving cases in a foreign language is an important tool for the formation of communicative competence necessary for students in their future professional activities. However, the situational problem solving method has a number of limitations related mainly to the procedural issues of its application in the educational process. The authors conclude that the integration of the situational problem solving method into the educational process contributes to the development of universal competencies of engineering and IT students and can be applied as a type of pedagogical practice within the subjects of the existing educational programs without introduction of extra special courses for the development of such competencies. | 5935 | The problem of equality of educational opportunities, access to education for different categories of the population is one of the priorities of the Social and Political Studies, both in modern Russia and all over the world. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyse the main factors influencing equal opportunity in education of rural and urban pupils. Rural schools are not provided enough with the support and resources they need to keep pace with today’s educational demands. Rural schools failed to respond to current developments, changes, and trends in education. The major finding of our investigation was that family played a crucial role in equalizing educational opportunities. Parents could play a compensatory role in ensuring equal education in rural schools. Society and educators tried to ignore the fact that the majority of low performing schools were in rural, economically struggling areas. Most of these schools lacked sufficient equipment and resources to accommodate every pupil effectively. But rural schools have a serious advantage over urban ones – more integral perception of pupils by teachers and less formality in teachers/ pupils communication. Another solution to this problem could be teacher development courses tailoring to the real needs of rural schools or targeted Master’s Programmes in Education. | 5942 | The article is devoted to studying the image of Polish diaspora of Siberia in modern Poland. The materials under study were publications in the monthly journal written in Russian “Новая Польша” (The New Poland) issued in Poland since 1999. The linguistic means creating the image considering the binary opposition “friend – foe” are being analyzed in this work. The analysis of periodicals has shown that in narrations about Poles in Siberia the exiled Poles are in the limelight. Their inclusion into “friends” by modern Polish society is observed. The vocabulary markers of two levels are met: group level (our) and personal (my). It was defined that among the properties allowing considering the exiled Poles as “friends” are as follows: birth in Poland, the status of exiled, i. e. forcible transfer to Siberia in XIX century or in the middle of ХХ, lack of mindset to integrate with the Siberian society, striving for good education. As the exiled Poles are considered being “friends”, their perception of Siberia as of the place for exile became one of the main components of historical perception of Poles and therefore the self-identification aspect. The information about modern Siberian Poles on the pages of “Новая Польша” newspaper looks more decent. However it is observed that while their description the vocabulary characterizing Siberian Poles with a definite degree of “foreignness” is often met. The Poland nominates are often observed when creating the image of modern Siberian Poles; however the rest context of the text makes them lose their value. Being born in Siberia and its perception as the motherland as well as loss of Polish language became the main factors of distance formation. Therefore, the application of binary opposition “friend – foe” showed the double nature of perception of Polish diaspora in Siberia by Polish society. Exiled Poles are felt closer and therefore defined as “friends”. Some kind of foreignness is seen in regards to modern Siberian Poles. As a result, the key line of development of the higher education system is the renewal of existing master's degree training practices, including for the manifestation and development of human leadership potential. The analysis of the scientific literature in this area of research revealed the problem of insufficient knowledge of the issues of developing the leadership potential of future managerial personnel through the implementation of master's degree programs at a pedagogical university. The purpose of this work is to rethink the essence and possibilities of developing leadership potential in the process of professional training of future managerial personnel in the master's degree program of the Pedagogical University. The following methods are used in the study: phenomenological description, included observation, survey (questionnaire, interview). Based on the analysis, systematization and generalization of the results of scientific research on the topic of the work, the interpretation of the concept of “leadership potential” is clarified in accordance with modern ideas in the field of pedagogical knowledge. It is based on the acmeological principles of human-centricity, open cooperation, interconnection and continuous self-improvement. The basic skills of the leader of an educational organization that are relevant for executives are shown. The main factors preventing the manifestation and development of the leadership potential of the head are given, namely: the lack of minimum uniform indicators for the quality of the head's work, the reluctance of managers to leave the comfort zone, misunderstanding of the purpose, mission in the profession, cultural code, lack of awareness of their identity. The key indicators demonstrating the development of the leadership potential of a modern head of an educational organization, which are taken into account when mastering academic disciplines at a university, are substantiated: high motivational potential of work, willingness to take responsibility for oneself, perform tasks inaccessible to others, a high level of independence of activity, etc. At the same time, the ways of updating the master's degree programs for future management personnel for the development of their leadership potential are proposed, based on the experience of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. Despite the fact that revealing the hero’s “inner self” doesn’t fit within an epic genre framework it is not alien to Anglo-Saxon culture. The epic genre illustrates that feelings and emotions can be disclosed on other levels and by other means unlike contemporary interpretation of the phenomenon. The specific character of archaic folklore mentality can’t but influence the process of understanding and revealing the inner world of an epic hero through his actions and external manifestations. The inner space of the image of the epic hero is viewed in the light of the action approach which is coherent with the genre intention and functional meaning of the image in the culture framework.
