The given article covers the results of an initiative international pilot project aimed at creating up-to-date teaching materials for training the Central Asian youth to study and work activity on the territory of Russia. The general purpose of the present elaboration is increasing the level of language and culture adaptation of students from the above-mentioned region to communicating with the Russian-speaking population. The article views some peculiarities in language interference of Central Asian students in Russia’s higher learning institutions (by the example of speakers whose native language is Tajik). Some ways of overcoming such interference are justified.

The article presents the problem of children’s education in the academic discipline “Environment” in modern elementary school. Currently, there is a new federal state educational standard of primary education in the Russian Federation. It gives teachers new opportunities for the use of the course “Environment” for the development of children. The article provides an analysis of the resources of this discipline to achieve the learning outcomes in elementary school. New educational standard has three groups of educational outcomes: substantive results, metasubject results, personal results. All three groups of results were the basis for the analysis of the resources of the discipline “Environment.” The article describes the features to achieve these results by means of the course. In particular, it describes the nature of the content of the discipline at this stage, taking into account the changes of substantial lines at different stages of development of the discipline in the past. Shows the features of the use of problem methods and techniques at the lesson “Environment”, describes its problematic structure. Great importance is attached to the possibility of organizing research and project activity of students in the study of the discipline “Environment”. These activities correspond to the content of the course and can successfully form children’s universal educational actions.

The article is connected with one of the main problems of methodology of forming intercultural competence in teaching Russian language to foreign students-philologists – working out principles of selecting teaching texts. With the help of the analysis of common factors, that affect functioning of all pedagogical systems, we have worked out and systematized 8 particular principles of selecting teaching texts for forming intercultural competence. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching goals into account” we have put forward the principles of the communicative, intercultural, educational, informative and the developing value of the text. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching conditions into account” we have worked out principle of “the correspondence of the text with the profile of higher education for foreign students”. Basing on the factor of “taking into account the characteristics of students” we have put forward principle of the correspondence of the text with the students’ language level and principle of taking the native culture of foreign students into consideration. In the article we also described 12 criteria, which allow implementing these principles in the process of selection of educational texts. According to the principles and the criteria, it was confirmed that, Russian texts for children’s reading, which are regarded as an important means of popular pedagogy, can be used as teaching material. The system of the principles and criteria is presented in the form of a table.

The relevance of the study is determined by the clear interest of the pedagogues in implementing the main requirements to training the students of higher education institutions. The need for studying the problem of developing cross-cultural competence in the context of higher education is covered. The theoretical aspects of developing cross-cultural competence in view of currently important values and aims of training in higher education system are discussed. The main methodological approaches to developing cross-cultural communication within the framework of professionally-oriented foreign language teaching – system based, activity and competence based, cross-cultural approaches are revealed. Based on the presented approaches the essence and the key concept of “cross-cultural competence” of the students are clarified. The structural components of cross-cultural competence are determined and described in detail. The structure of the cross-cultural competence is comprised of motivational, cognitive, personal and activity, axiological, reflective components. The concept of cross-cultural competence has made it possible to point out and reveal the basic principles of organizing and implementing the process of developing the cross-cultural competence in the framework of professional oriented foreign language teaching such as the principles of humanistic teaching, dialogic communication, learning professionally oriented thesaurus, openness to foreign cultures and ideas, integration into a different culture, critical appraisal of situation in cross-cultural communication. Special attention is paid to the importance of the pedagogical potential of the e-Learning environment in the teaching and learning process, it has been explained that the e-Learning environment has a positive impact on the developing the structural components of cross-cultural competence in training the students in higher education institutions.

Researches of the chromosomal organisation and polymorphism of inversion of Far East malarial mosquito A. sinensis Wiedemann a complex «hyrcanus» were carried out in Primorye Territory. During work the chromosomal map of a kind is made, marker disks are noted. Wide intraspecific chromosomal polymorphism on all parts of autosome is revealed. The analysis of polymorphism of inversion in different points of catching of larvae in the south of Primorye Territory has revealed various level of a variety of the chromosomal variants, correlating with degree of remoteness biotopes from sea coast. The greatest polymorphism is established in population in a distance from the sea (settlement Sibirtsevo); the least is in vicinities of Vladivostok; variability has intermediate character in population of mosquitoes of state Artem.

In the process of training primary school teachers for innovative activity it was revealed that the success was not great enough in view of the fact that they experienced a great number of difficulties. We cleared up these difficulties and the ways of overcoming them and worked out the con¬ception of training teachers for innovative activity. Analyzing the character of teachers successful education¬al work in the process of training by innovative technologies (IT) the author pays attention to studying teachers', didactic difficulties (DD), which reduce teachers', progress during their further training at innovative technologies refresher courses. Studying the character of didactic difficulties (DD) and the ways of overcoming them by means of special training becomes the basis of the author's conception of raising the effectiveness of educational process. Considering these actions to be the preliminary stage of any courses, raising the level of professional skills opens wide opportunities for raising the effectiveness in teaching new educational tech¬nologies. Translation is not only a speech act but also an act of cross-cultural communication. Translation is determined by the system and norm at least of two languages and two cultures. The conflict between the cultures in translation is overcome by making the strategy based on principles and rules, background knowledge, skills and habits. These knowledge and skills are taught in creative linguasociocultural environment which maximum is near by the natural foreign environment. Thus, the author’s main attention has been focussed on working out in greater detail the system of skills. Then it is shown how these skills are practically taught in Japanese linguasociocultural environment (on the example of tea ceremony and other national, historical, geographical, religious and cultural realities).
