4801 | Introduction. The necessity to search for the new ways of foreign languages teaching in a technical university makes a technology for working with video resources urgent today. Video resources come to be an effective way increasing the students’ motivation to foreign languages learning. Aim and objectives. The author aims at a scientific justification and description of practical ways to use video resources to increase motivation for learning foreign languages among students of technical universities. Material and methods. The work is based on the provisions of regulatory documents that determine the guidelines for teaching foreign languages in technical universities, the provisions of the technology of working with video resources, which is especially relevant in language education today, and the methodological focus of the organization of teaching the discipline “Foreign Language in Professional Activities”. The author works out and implements a complex of foreign language lessons with the use of video resources for students and carries out a methodical experiment aiming at estimating the method efficiency for increasing technical university students’ motivation to foreign languages learning. Results and discussion. Following the technology of video resources use in the learning process the author presents the stages of the work organization and gives the examples of the tasks on each of the stages for the students in the field of technical specialties. The article presents the methodical experiment results which prove the efficiency of video resources use for increasing students’ motivation to learning a foreign language. The author also mentions the conditions of organization of such work with students which gives positive results. Conclusions. The work with video resources in the digital age is an efficient way of technical university students` motivating to learning the foreign language for both general and specific purposes. 4813 | The subject of this paper is the problem of the author’s dramatic plot. It is the designation of the appraisal and from – without – vision peculiarities of the story depicted by the author. These peculiarities tell the playwright both from the other authors interpreting the same plot situation and from the hero having his own comprehension of what is going on from within the dramatic situation. Besides Chekhov’s plot is not just the author’s plot. It is plot of special typology. The main function of heroes in it is not the action but the personality’s understanding of his present, past and future. On these grounds the integral world picture only appears on interaction of the position in vision and appraisal of the story by the characters from the reader’s/spectator’s position. As a result, the world model expressing the individual peculiarities of the author’s life conception is recreated on the territory of the reader’s consciousness. The playwrights of the 70th–early 80th of the 20th century typologically created the plots similar to Chekhov’s ones. But it is important that the authors used his elements as well – the situations keeping the author’s vision, heroes, with the help of which Chekhov’s world model appeared in his time. It allows us to speak about the working – out of Chekhov’s plot as “someone else’s”. In the final analysis, Chekhov’s plot has some prognostic functions. It sets the direction of the modern history movement, predicts key events. At the same time the unjustified of plot expectations allows the playwrights to designate, first of all, their own life understanding different from Chekhov’s; secondly, the principal lack of coincidence of their time and Chekhov’s time. Only in the situation of recognizing Chekhov’s heroes and situation become “the codes” allowing to decode the modern dramatic story, to reveal the plurality of its meanings, the individuality of the author’s position. In its turn, new meanings of Chekhov’s plot appear in the new author’s and time context. 4815 | The topic of tourism development in Russian regions is very relevant today, since it is related to regional economy development. Hence, problems and prospects of the tourism industry development more and more attract researchers’ and public attention. The article revealed the problems of mass tourism formation in Western and Eastern Siberia regions through exposing forms and directions of tourism industry development in those regions in 1960s–1970s. The problem of tourism in certain Siberian regions is considered by the researches in their works, some aspects of tourism development in Siberian regions are touched on many conferences, devoted to the problems of tourism development in various Russian regions. This gives the right to claim that the aspect of reconstructing forms and directions of regional tourism development in Siberia is discovered insufficiently. Therefore, the author addresses primary sources, namely, archive documentation. The main base draws up previously unpublished archival sources. Materials of the State Archive Fund of Novosibirsk and Kemerovo oblasts contain information about the volume of transportation showing mass tourism development in the given period. Materials from the Russian Federation State Archive contain statistical data on travel volumes and the number of tourists in the analyzed period. Experience in the tourism industry development in Siberian region would help to reveal the preconditions and to present the trend of mass tourism development in the country during this period. The change to a five-day working week with 2 days off prompted the demand for recreation, which was increasing among the soviet population. Along with the expansion of organized tourist trips, the mass initiative tourist movement was getting the increasing popularity. The different forms of initiative tourism worked: trips “Auto stop”, alpinist tours, walking local and regional tours, week-end trips, etc. By the end of the 1960s, tourism was converted into a single-union system demanding comprehensive centralized management with material and technical base, established only on the basis of a unified system approach. Central Tourism Department put the plans that have been successfully carried out by regional councils on tourism, implementing the decisions of the Central Committee of the Party and the decisions of the Soviet Government. The effective management of administrative practices on the one hand stimulated the mass tourism and excursion industry development, but on the other hand hindered its effective control in the regions. 4816 | Computer algebra systems are now ubiquitous in all areas of science and engineering. Mathcad is one of the most successeful and widely used mathematical package. The capabilities of the mathematical package Mathcad are used to compute approximate solutions of different kinds of equations from statistical physics and thermodynamics. Solved numerically the equations in which the unknown enters under the integral sign. The presented examples are of independent interest to the students and teachers that use numerical methods. The equation of heat balance is difficult to solve when the specific heat depends on temperature and this dependence is given in the form of a table. Spline interpolation is applied to solve the heat balance equation in such a case. Debay’s theory of heat capacity of crystals well describes the temperature dependence of specific heat capacities of some substances. The Debay’s theory is used to numerically solve the heat balance equation for aluminium and copper. Distribution Fermi–Dirac can be used for calculations if the chemical potential is known. The chemical potential implicitly depends on the concentration and temperature. It is shown how to numerically calculate the chemical potential. Shows how to solve numerically and graphically an equation arising in the derivation of the Wien’s shift law. With the help of Planck’s formula determines the temperature of the stars having a maximum proportion of radiation in the visible range. Provides the problems associated with the Maxwell distribution. Without the Boltzmann distribution the pressure of the isothermal atmosphere at a specified altitude is calculated. 4817 | The study was performed in line with the theory of intertextuality and one of the areas of communicative stylistics of a literary text – the theory of regulativity. The study of the dialogic nature of literary text is of interest in connection with the modern anthropocentric paradigm in linguistics. Intertextuality, reflecting the author’s dialogue not only with readers but also with the poets-forerunners to the modern writer masters of artistic expression, extends the semantics of poetic works and determines their semantic deployment in the consciousness of the perceiver of the text of the addressee. The article presents the typology of regulative strategies of O. E. Mandelstam’s poetic texts including intertexts (intertextual structures), important for the complete decoding of the author’s intention. The work is based on the material of poetic texts from the collection «Stone». The peculiarities of the regulatory strategies that update the intertexts in this collection include: systemic reproduction; prevalence of strategies of explicit type; dominance of strong regulatory strategies; use of intertexts as a means of regulativity; consistent performance of aesthetic information; complex application of various intertexts by the poet (plots-intertexts, regulative models of the intertextual type); intertextual links with the main stages of Western European culture and the culture of the silver age. Proved that O.E. Mandelstam uses intertextuality as one of the important way of controlling cognitive readers’ activity by the author. Regulative strategies of intertextual type, based on the use of various intertexts, were considered from the point of view of proportion and aesthetic way of presenting information, the homogeneity / heterogeneity of the dominant means of regulativity, depending on the regulatory power of the text, according to the methods of regulatively. The data obtained are of interest for the detection of idiostyle of the poet. 4818 | The article contains a fragment of the analysis of the semantics of the derivatives of dialect verbs of speech with the aim of studying the pragmatic aspects of linguistic meaning. Classification of dialectal verbs is carried out in accordance with the classification of lexico-semantic groups of commonly used Russian verbs. Cognitive models are defined in the formation of characterizing actions associated with speech activity. Examples of propositions of verbs are given. It is established that characterizing verbs of this group can have mono- and polypropositive structures. It turned out that for the nomination of situations related to the speech activity of people, the subject of the proposition is relevant. It was determined that one of the propositions of the verbs can reflect the objective properties of the named action, the other can be the result of evaluating these properties. It turned out that the evaluation is contained in the derived verbs formed from the estimated nouns or arises in the process of word formation on the basis of the metaphor. Actual for carriers of dialects are LSG verbs of verbal communication and LSG verbs of speech influence. Dialectal verbs usually reflect a conflict situation. To form these verbs, metaphorical models are used, complicated by the Fictitious modality and the emotional modality. Emotional assessment is able to influence the interlocutor. The presence of metaphorical names is explained by the anthropocentricity of the group and the special discourse. It turned out that for the speakers, the dialect is characterized by a negative attitude toward meaningless, unproductive, verbose arguments; to the moral discredit of the interlocutor (semes “scold”, “gossip”). Such qualities as intelligence, ability to convey information in a clear and accessible form are valued. 4819 | Introduction. The digital platform for the organization of modern broadcasting significantly transforms the principles of information and communication with the addressee. Material and methods. The subject of discussion in this article is the communicative ways of implementing personal radio discourse. Results and discussion. The focus is on the image of the radio host, which is formed at the intersection of the strategies of self-presentation and advertising of the radio site as an information resource. The functional potential of the interaction of communicative strategies is manifested in how the author identifies himself through a set of roles of professional and personal orientation. The specificity of the author’s role realization is examined through the description of the macrotext structure – the sociocultural and genre features of the Internet blog, which serves as a precedent form of broadcasting organization. The social network principle of radio functioning determines the basic parameter of its picture of the world – the individualization of the process of interaction with the addressee, the organization of the psycho-emotional environment of identity formation. Conclusion. The complex of interacting communicative strategies becomes the discursive mechanism that determines the variability of the author’s role-playing behavior – a discursive personality that manifests itself in the process of interactive communication, in the process of forming a discursive picture of the world as a world shared with the addressee, a comfortable psycho-emotional interaction environment. 4820 | Introduction. The study focuses on news discourse and on its persuasive dimension in particular. News discourse has a number of standard strategies to promote the persuasive process for assertions. If propositions are to be accepted as true or plausible, there must be special means to enhance their appearance of truth and plausibility. Material and methods. The theoretical perspective of the paper is the critical epistemic discourse analysis proposed by T. A. van Dijk. The paper considers mental representation of the event nominated in British and American mass media as RUSSIAN SPY POISONING. Results and discussion. The study highlights the evasion strategy as a form of discourse-based mental influence in news discourse. From a pragmatic approach evasion is viewed as violation of one of the conversational maxims formulated by P. Grice which requires contributions to conversations to be truthful. The author claims that the aim of the evasion strategy in representing news is to discursively emphasize those properties of mental models that are consistent with the interests of the dominant social groups and discursively deemphasize those properties that are inconsistent with their interests. Consequently, evasion strategy results in partial, incomplete or biased understanding of the news story in the interests of a dominant social group. Evasion presupposes formulation of meanings in such a way that they are not merely understood but also accepted as the truth or at least as a possible truth. The article discusses strategic devices of evasion like hedging, referential vagueness, focus shift, selective use of evidential and epistemic markers, half truth. Conclusion. The author comes to the conclusion that evasion strategy contributes to the formation or reactivation of preferred mental models and may thus be used in manipulative discourse use. 4831 | The article deals with the peculiarities of formation of linguistic competence (degree of native language) of students with disabilities. Children with disabilities have special educational opportunities and needs identified by psycho-pedagogical characteristics of this group of students. The characteristics of inclusive teaching space, including the risks potentially associated with formation of linguistic competence of students with disabilities. The process of formation of the linguistic competence of students of all categories, including the disabilities is based on the formation of their complex knowledge of the language as a system consisting of certain levels and corresponding to these unit-level representation of how language system develops and functions, what are the factors conditional on the national specifics of the language. Specificity of finding children with disabilities linguistic competence and its further improvement is determined by a complex of factors. First, of course, are affected by some of the internal contradictions inherent in the phenomenon of inclusion having a medico-social ontological essence. Secondly, the situation with the education of children with disabilities may present certain psychological risks. Thirdly, the inclusive approach in education can be restricted by inadequate resourcing: personnel, logistics, software methodical and finally financial. The urgency of the issues raised in the study is caused by a sharp decline in cognitive and motivational interest of students in general to the problems of language culture, as well as the problems associated with the organization and implementation of the educational process in an integrated (inclusive) basis. 4832 | In the article we cited a fragment of the analysis of the semantics of the derived dialect verbs to study pragmatic aspects of the linguistic meaning. For the material of the study served the substantive dialectal verbs, collected by continuous sampling from the “Dictionary of Russian dialects of Transbaikal” and “the Irkutsk regional dictionary”. To study the semantics of the verbs we used the technique of propositional analysis. It is determined that cognitive models in the formation of functional and characterizing naming units are of different kinds. Functional names are characterized by orderly and clear formulas of propositions. They result through the reference to an object, an instrument or a place of purposeful activities. We gave the examples of verb propositions of the thematic group “Interpersonal relations”. Characterizing verbs of this group are the result of motivation by the name of any reality and can have mono- and polipropositional structure. For nomination of the situations related with the human relationship both the subject and the object of a proposition are important. Propositional structure characterizing the items can include assessment and emotive modes. Described idiomaticity of derivatives and the factors causing it. Revealed that different degree of the studied frazeological units may depend on the semantics of motivator: its multi-dimensionality (the scene) or polysemy. Preproposition names have the highest degree by increasing individual transformation. Such verbs are usually formed on the basis of metaphorical and metonymical models. The presence of metaphorical names is explained anthropocentricity of the group and the specific discourse. Unconventional method of linguistic unit formation allows you influence not the mind, but the emotions of a person. A four-fermion interaction model is used to evaluate the low energy phenomena for quarks and gluons. Chernyshevsky and modern critical works, the phenomenon of emergence of marriage of convenience in Russia is considered. Untypical family models with a new attitude towards women are being investigated. The gender approach reveals a gradual change in the public consciousness of the role of women in the family and society. The article analyzes historical preconditions for the emergence of such a cultural phenomenon as marriage of convenience. The real implementation of the theory of “reasonable egoism”, proclaimed by N. G. Chernyshevsky in the novel “What Is to Be Done?”, is being studied. On the examples of family life of M. A. Obrucheva – P. I. Bokov, L. P. Mikhaelis – N. V. Shelgunov, S. V. Kovalevskaya – V. O. Kovalevsky and others, the fate of the participants of the love experiment can be traced. In the opinion of N. G. Chernyshevsky and his followers, a woman in marriage should not only obtain equal with a man rights, but also freedom. She can control her feelings. At the same time, men are liberators, by means of marriage helping a woman to avoid domestic despotism or giving an opportunity to get an education. In Russia the model of behavior of a noble man was conditioned by his desire to take responsibility for a woman, deprived of the civil rights by the society. N. G. Chernyshevsky showed what a decent person in Russia should do, without going beyond the framework of “reasonable egoism”. That is, in the conditions of social injustice, a man had to make up and give a woman what she did not receive from the society. An effective method to solve the main task of increasing mathematical competence and its accompanying tasks of development of general cultural competencies of students is the use of interactive forms of teaching, the essence of which is teaching in dialogue. The article deals with the nature, objectives and principles of interactive methods of teaching. The analysis of scientific works of teachers-researchers showed that teaching of higher mathematics does not use such interactive forms as collective teaching and their corresponding methods. It is collective teaching that allow the teaching process to be both active and interactive in cases, where the content of the teaching material does not even have a professional orientation. For collective teaching you can observe all those characteristics that are inherent to interactive teaching – dialogue, mental activity, ground, freedom of choice, creating a situation of success, reflection. The article deals with the nature, principles and methods of collective teaching. Organizational and methodological support of teaching on various topics using the methods of collective teaching has been developed. The efficiency of collective teaching in higher mathematics using the method of interchange of tasks, designed for the primary study of typical tasks due to the work of students in pairs of shift composition. Particular attention is paid to the description of the organizational and methodological support for conducting classes. A long-term pedagogical experiment aimed at identifying the effectiveness of interactive studies in higher mathematics at a technical college in comparison with traditional studies has been conducted. The article describes the stages of the experiment and its results. The results of the experiment were processed using statistical methods and qualitative indicators obtained during the monitoring of the teaching process.
